Stella POV

"Demon hunting?" I ask following grandpa deeper into the forest.

"Well I plan to do the fighting but now that the two of you are 10 I think that you should at least see what they're like." Grandpa answers.

"How are they like?" Shin asked looking up at grandpa.

"Magic permeates this whole world and all its creatures can reap its benefits but some are able to keep the magic they would use under controle. The powerful and wildly wild being is known as a demon, even a human being can become one." Grandpa says.

"A person turned into a demon a long time ago and almost destroyed a whole country right? Didn't you have to go and save them Grandpa?" Shin says.

"So you're a big hero there even now." I say as grandpa laughed.

"That was a long time back I guess. Now let's start by finding the demon." Grandpa says as we stop at a cliff.

"How do we do that?" Shin and I both ask at the same time.

"If you thinly spread your magic power around yourself you can sense when it comes into contact with anything elses magic and since all living creatures have magic you'll know what is where right away. This is know as search magic, it's quite useful too. Although I should mention it requires a bit more finesse than most of the spells I've shown you." Grandpa says but both me and Shin were already trying it out.

"Wow I can feel the magic in all the creatures of the forest. I can even sense grandma Melinda back in the house." Shin says.

"I can feel it too.. wait what is that?" I ask feeling a bad magic, this was malice, sinister almost.

"I can feel it too. It's a sinister feeling.. what's it coming from?" Shin asks.

"Ah must be the demon you're sensing the magic power that corrupted it." We both looked at grandpa.

"We need to destroy it right now!" Shin said.

"Won't something bad happen if we let it roam around?" I ask after.

"Yes but this is dangerous so I want you to be careful." Grandpa says as we both nodded and started heading towards that wicked magic feeling. We ran there just to be face to face with a huge bear.

"So that's what demons look like." I say before taking out my sword along with Shin.

"You're not going one step further!" Shin and I called at the same time before we charged towards it dodging with his Jet Boots and I with my moonwalk boots. I jumped up walking on air distracting the demon giving Shin enough time to cut its head off.

"Nice!" I say getting down and high fiving Shin before going to grandpa who looked down.

"Grandpa.. grandpa.. did we do an ok job?" Shin asks.

"Hope we didn't mess things up.." I mumble.

"No, you did great. Left me speechless for a moment. That was a sight to be hold I couldn't have done it better myself." Grandpa says making us smile.

"You mean it?" We both say at the same time.

"So our demon hunt was successful?" Shin asked as grandpa nodded.

"It certainly was." He says causing us to high five again.

"Exactly what sort of enchantment did you put on your sword and boots?" Grandpa asked causing us to gulp a bit and sweat.

"Uh, just the usual stuff  you know." Shin says.

"Shin and Stella, the grand kids pf our hero master Merlin have just turn 15 and are regarded as a man and woman from this day forward. A toast to the young man and woman and to the many years ahead of them, to Shin and Stella!" Uncle Dis cheers as the others follow and we started eating.

"It's hard to accept that little babies I once knew have now grown into a man and woman." Granny says looking at her cup.

"It happened much faster than we thought." Grandpa says.

"I was meaning to ask, where do you plan to go from here?" Uncle Dis asks causing us to halt on the bite we were going to take.

"I don't know." We both say at the same time.

"You're free to pursue your dreams now the first step is deciding what you wish to do." Dis says.

"Well for one thing we've never gone beyond the forest, so how about going to visit a near by town?" Shin asks looking at me.

"That seems like a good idea." I say.

"I see, and then what?" Uncle Dis asks again.

"Should there be more?" We ask at the same time again.

"What do you want to become?" Big bro asks.

"Since you learned how to fight from sir Michael himself, I imagine you could join the royal order. You could also do well as a demon hunter." Big sis says.

"I didn't know demon hunting was a profession." Shin says.

"Yes there's actually a group called the demon hunter society. They have a system which their hunters get rewards for their victories."Tom says.

"Wow you haven't even heard about them?" Big bro asks.

"No, we haven't thought about jobs much." We say.

"You could also do well enchanting and selling magic gear. Or if the working style isn't your style you can always use those looks to find a girlfriend or boyfriend to support you." I blink as big sis glances at him with a glare.

"Luckily they aren't sick enough in the head to think in those terms." Well here we go again with them arguing.

"Huh, yeah now that we're adults I guess we should start making money." Shin starts.

"And learn how to use it." I say as he nods.

"Hold on a moment, you mean you've never gone shopping before?" Tom asks.

"Nop." I say.

"Can't say we have." Shin continues as everyone looks shocked.

"You're kidding, Merlin." Granny says.

"Well I may have forgotten to teach him some common practices." Grandpa says making everyone scream.

"Come to think of it we don't know much of anything apart from fighting and how to use magic." Shin says as I nod in agreement.

"Eh, I'm sure it'll all work out." Grandpa says.

"Say why do we show them your magic?" Grandpa asks making us blink.

"Hm? I guess." I say as Shin go up.

"Let's do it then." He says as grandpa got up as well.

"Not here though. Let's go to that place." Grandpa says making us nod.

"Alright." Shin says using gate to get us there.
