Today we bring you top movies that really hit it in the 90's. You can stream them on Netflix and enjoy an amazing walk through history with your family.

10. Forrest Gump(1994)

Forrest, a man with low IQ, recounts the early years of his life when he found himself in the middle of key historical events. All he wants now is to be reunited with his childhood sweetheart, Jenny. It was really an interesting movie.

9. Saving Private Ryan (1998)

During the Normandy invasion of World War II, Captain John Miller is assigned the task of searching for Private James Ryan, whose three brothers have already been killed in the war. It is a good watch.

8. The Lion King (1994)

As a cub, Simba is forced to leave the Pride Lands after his father Mufasa is murdered by his wicked uncle, Scar. Years later, he returns as a young lion to reclaim his throne. This movie is well known for its amazing soundtracks and storyline.

7. Titanic (1997)

The Titanic remains a ship that will always be remembered in the hearts of all. This movie, made around thr plot of the ship's demise, is still a very popular talk in romance genre.

6. Home Alone (1990)

DescriptionEight-year-old Kevin is accidentally left behind when his family leaves for France. At first, he is happy to be in charge, but when thieves try to break into his home, he tries to put up a fight.

This movie is quite an amazing classic in the comedy genre.

5. Good fellas (1990)

DescriptionYoung Henry Hill, with his friends Jimmy and Tommy, begins the climb from being a petty criminal to a gangster on the mean streets of New York.

4. The Matrix (1999)

DescriptionThomas Anderson, a computer programmer, is led to fight an underground war against powerful computers who have constructed his entire reality with a system called the Matrix.

This movie was very popular in the 90's. It was one of the top rated action/sci-fi movies back then. It is still very popular and its name is still featured in recent TV shows.

3. The Shawshank Redemption (1994)

Hope and friendship are odd things to find in a dark and abysmal prison, but this is a Steven King prison story. Based on the short story, Rita Hayworth And The Shawshank Redemption, King’s novella and the film are decidedly ordinary compared to his horror stories.

But the tale of The Shawshank Redemption is still no less than transcendent and emotional from beginning to end. If you haven’t seen it, go do so right now.

2. Pulp Fiction (1994)

Quentin Tarantino’s Pulp Fiction deserves every accolade it has ever received or still receives. Two talkative hitmen, their boss, his drug-addled mob queen, and a boxer who refuses to take a dive are all front-and-center in this twisty-turny tale.

1. Schindler's List (1993)

It’s no surprise that the list of great nineties movies begins and ends when Steven Spielberg. Seven bonafide hits in just ten years. People don’t even achieve that in their careers!

This is movie still has a great impact due to its war/drama theme. It is surely a good watch.

There were many amazing movies released in the 90's. We would have loved to list those as well, but we decided decide give you a well summarized list based on ratings, votes and popularity.

We hope you enjoy the movies on this list.

COMEDY IN THE 90'S.
TOP 5!

There is one thing the 90's is well known for and that is good comedy.

Some sitcoms released in the 90's are still very popular in recent times. A few have varied social accounts made for fans. Articles are still written about others and with great story plots, are streamed daily on sites like Netflix.

5. Frasier

Frasier is the perfect example of how good a spinoff can be. In fact, it stands on its own so well that a lot of fans might forget that Dr. Frasier Crane originally came from Cheers (which would probably also be on the list if it came out at the right time).

4. Seinfeld

This TV show unlike the others in this list was not released in the 90's but since it was run through the 90's and was very popular at that decade, we decided to add it to this list.

Jerry Seinfeld and the rest of his hilarious friends come together for a nearly perfect television show. Each episode is a nicely contained little story that’s enjoyable for everyone. It even ends with a fantastic episode, which is more than most shows can say.

3. Boy Meets World

Boy Meets World stars Ben Savage, the brother of Fred Savage (the star of The Wonder Years). The show follows Ben’s character Cory and his friends as they grow up and experience the world.

The show is actually quite similar in structure to The Wonder Years, but in the end, I think it’s a more effective story overall.

The show has seven seasons.

2. Fresh Prince of Bel-Air

We highly recommend this sitcom as it is in every word 'Hilarious '.

This comedy is about a kid from Philly who moves to ritzy Bel-Air the second-best Sitcom of the 90s. The show will make you laugh, cry, and wonder how Will Smith is able to get in so much trouble without getting kicked out of his house.

1. Friends

Friends is one of the most beloved sitcoms of all time. The crew of Rachel, Ross, Monica, Chandler, Joey, and Phoebe are some of the most recognizable characters in any show.

Their story unfolded over the course of 10 seasons and it managed to keep fans glued through its entire run. The show is funny, heartwarming, willing to push the limits, and gets so much right.

The sitcom, is still very loved and has one of the highest number of fans on social networks. Many have confessed to have watched all ten seasons more than thrice.

For a good laugh and a wonderful time, we strongly recommend the sitcom; Friends.
