Overall Abilities: Shiko is a capable fighter, however, as he has only practised his muscles since entering U.A., he still needs a lot of training. He tends to rely on his ranged abilities of his quirk too much, making him less capable as a melee fighter, and, against Eraser Head's quirk, he stands no chance. He came in 5th during the U.A. Entrance Exam, scoring 24 villain points and 36 rescue points. He did not participate in the U.A. Sports Festival due to it being aired throughout the country and his father was watching. Instead, he watched his juniors in the first year block to get a grasp of their quirks, as he would later be working with them due to special circumstances.

Quirk

Solar Burst: Shiko's Quirk allows him to use the sun for energy, attacking and defending.

Due to suppression by his father, his quirk is underdeveloped and he has troubles controlling it sometimes.

As part of his training, Shiko collects sunlight to train the maximum amount of solar power he can store in his body. He also practices using his powers in the dark to improve usability during the night.

Moves

Sun Regeneration - Allows him to regenerate energy from the sun as well as recover small wounds. Because the sun gives him a lot of his energy, nighttime makes him extra sleepy.

Light Missile - He gathers energy and sends it towards his enemy in a straight beam, being able to target it wherever he wants. Not usable during the night.

Sun Armor - He covers himself or his allies in sunlight, reflecting light and blinding his enemies, also reflects the next ranged attack, after which it either weakens or breaks, depending on his quirks 'level'. Not usable during night.

Holy Bolts - He collects sunlight and sends it in small bolts towards the enemy. He can also generate one from sunlight stored in his body and use it as light in dark places.

Super Moves

Solar Sword - He generates a large sword gathered from sunlight. Usable as melee as well as ranged, depending on the size. Impossible to cast during the night.

Sunbeam - He gathers light above the target, then unleashes it, dealing both damage and blinding them for a short period of time. Usable from sunlight stored within his body, even during the night. It costs a lot of energy.
