Qiblis POV

They were flying, and they had been, since the night before. It was around morning now, and everyone clearly needed a rest, especially Moon. "Everyone good to stop and rest here?" Qibli asked the group, stopping to hover mid-air. "I'm...fine...to...stop...anywhere.." Moon gasped, diving towards the clearing in the forest they were flying over. 

A blur zipped past Qibli, and Kinkajou suddenly materialized on the ground beside Moon. "I'm gonna go search for berries!" Kinkajou suddenly called, bounding off into the forest, only a pink and yellow tail whipping into the forest to be seen. 

Moon laid down on a rock, just a few talons above the ground over the little pond that was in the clearing. "Do you want me to stay here with you and grab you a fish, or go out and find something to hunt for you?" Qibli asked the black dragon sprawled out in the rock. "Anythings fine- as long as I can eat before we get to the rainforest." Moon said, turning to lay on her back to look up at the daytime sky. 

They had decided they were going to the rainforest first, even though the desert was closer to Jade Mountain, Kinkajou wanted to see if Queen Glory had found any information on her family, and Qibli said that they should see Moon's mother first, as Queen Thorn wasn't his parent, and he said parents should be told first.

"Qibli, I wonder what the dragonet will look like." Moon sighed happily, and he could tell she was picturing their future dragonet. He wouldn't let anyone or anything get close to Moon or the egg, (or the dragonet, when it hatched). Not while he was alive to do anything about it. 

"I'm not sure," He said. "But I know they'll be beautiful, just like you." Moon turned towards him, blushing and smiling. "Now now, Mr.Romantic, go get me something to eat before you find something else to say." She said, shooing him into the sky to look for something to eat.

He had found a wild boar in the forest and decided to kill it to bring back to Moon. He also found himself a goat, as long as SandWings could go for without eating, he wasn't going to test, and, besides, he was hungry. 

When he came back with the prey, he saw moon sprawled out on the rock and Kinkajou below the rock, next to the pond, eating some sort of berries.

"Back!" Qibli said, bringing Moon her prey. "Ooh, food!" She Said, reaching towards the boar, and he handed it to her, saying, "Plus, me." Kinkajou shuddered. "I still don't get how you guys can eat meat! It's so mean to the animals, and plus, gross." Qibli laughed. "You tell us this every time, Kinkajou."

"And I mean it all the time!" She cried, flinging one of her berries at him. "Ok, ok, settle down, you two." Moon laughed. "I'm settled!" Kinkajou shrieked, turning away from Qibli.

"Immmm not exactly sure what I did wrong, but ok...?" Qibli said, shrugging and eating his goat. "It's not about what you did," Kinkajou said, jabbing her claw at him with a mouth full or berries. "It's about what you will do." "Immmmm not entirely sure what you mean, but sure, ok." Qibli said, shrugging and looking over at Moon.

Moon started laughing at the two jabbering dragons. "Come on, we better start flying if we're to get the rainforest by nightfall." She said with a sigh. "Alright." Kinkajou said, and lept into the air, with Moon and Qibli close on her tail.

They reached the rainforest just shortly after nightfall, And the RainWing village not that much later afterwards. Even though it was night, a few RainWings were up and about, enjoying the moonlight. Kinkajou lead them to Queen Glory's platform, where they were stopped by Deathbringer. 

"Halt!" He called. "Deathbringer, what is it this time?! I swear if it's Tangerine again asking for more fruit-" Queen Glory called, and stepped out beside him, stopping when she saw the dragonets. "Kinkajou! Moon!" She cried. "What are you doing here?!" She demanded, leaping over to them. "Be gentle!" Kinkajou cried as Glory shook Moons shoulders. "What?" Glory asked, confused. Moon sighed. "That's why we're here, actually." She said. "Because...I need to be......gentle?" Glory said, highly confused. "What? No- never mind, it's something else." Moon said.

"Anyways, what are you three doing out of school again?!" She cried, noticing Qibli at last.   "Uh-" Qibli started. "No, not now! We just got here, and GOD, do I need to sleep!" Kinkajou cried.

"Fine!" Glory yelled. "But there's an explanation in the morning!" "Ok, fine, jeez! Anyways, can we sleep here or not?!" Kinkajou said, Flaring her wings open.

Glory sighed and rubbed the spot between her horns. "Yes, fine, sure, whatever. There are some hammocks inside, and a platform is on the top of the roof. Feel d free to sleep whenever for tonight." She said, waving them off inside.
