Qiblis POV

"Ok, uhm..." Qibli could tell she was at a loss for words. He would say it, but it felt like she should, since she was the one with the egg. "Ok, here's the truth. I'm- we're  With egg." Moon rushed. 

Clays jaw dropped open, and Sunny's eyes went wide. "Oh, Wow." Sunny said, quietly. Clay was just blank.            (Like the gorgeous dank chicken he is <3)

"We wanted to tell you guys sooner, but we couldn't figure out a way, and well....we figure it's coming soon." As if on cue, she winced from the pain of the egg.

"Well, thank you for telling us." Sunny said. "Uhm, do you need to stay out of classes?" She asked, sounding worried and concerned. "I- I don't exactly know, but maybe just to be safe?" Moon replied, nervous. Qibli stepped towards her and wrapped her in his wings, comforting her.

"Of course you can, and I'll see if Starflight has any scrolls on taking care of dragonets. Oh- would that be ok? If we tell the others?" Sunny asked. "Oh- Uh, yeah sure...but how will....Tsunami take this?" Moon worried. "Hm. Maybe I'll tell her slowly?" Sunny tried. "Well, it's not like we can really, drop a bomb like that on her, without her dropping an actual  bomb on us. So. Just saying." Clay said, turning towards the tunnel. 

"And Moon, Qibli,  other than your winglet, please don't talk to anybody about this, at least not for now." Sunny called, turning the corner of the tunnel.

Oh no. Qibli had forgotten about telling their winglet. It was the least worry on his mind. Kinkajou, she would be so happy and make sure no one went near moon. Kinda of a plus, kind of  a down. Winter. He'd leave, and probably never speak to them again. Not so good. 

They stood there for a minute, Moon wrapped in Qiblis wings, until they had to go tell Kinkajou. And maybe Winter. Maybe they could just show him the dragonet instead? That might be worse. For the first time in Qiblis life, he didn't know. Moon sighed. "Well, let's go tell Kinkajou." She said, walking towards the balcony enter/exit. "Let's try to catch her alone in your sleeping cave." Qibli suggested, and Moon nodded. They started towards their sleeping cave, hoping Kinkajou would be in there.

They were right, she was, and it looked like she was practicing her reading, which had improved since they came to Jade Mountain. 

She looked up as she heard them entering, and  her whole face lit up. "Moon! You guys were gone forever!!! I thought you left for good!" She hugged Moon and Qibli laughed. "Hi to you too, Kinkajou." He said, smiling. Moon looked into her eyes and her face went serious. "Kinkajou, we need to tell you something. Something serious." She briefly glanced over at Qibli, before returning her gaze to Kinkajou. 

Kinkajous talons clasped over her mouth, and she whispered, "Oh no. What happened?" "Wait, it's not like, bad, serious. It's just like more like a...happy serious?" Qibli said, stopping her before she said anymore.

"Hmm...ok..." Kinkajou said, and she looked like she only half believed him. Moon sat down on a ledge next to her moss bed, and so did Kinkajou and Qibli. "Kinkajou...Ok, first, promise me you won't freak out." Moon said to Kinkajou. "Ok, fine, I promise." Kinkajou said, impatient.

"I'm...with egg." Moon said, Looking into Kinkajous eyes. Kinkajou gasped, an exited look on her face. "OMIGOSH OMIGOSH OMIGOSH EEEEEEEEEEE!!!" Kinkajou squealed. Moon looked as relieved as Qibli felt. "Really?! I can't wait and omigosh a baby dragonet and my bestie and I CANT TAKE IT AHHHH IM SO EXITED AND I CANT WAIT!!!" Kinkajou went on, rambling. 

Moon laughed. "I'm glad you're exited and not upset." "WHY ON PYRRHIA WOULD I BE UPSET, BESTIE?!" Kinkajou yelled. "I don't know, but please keep it down and don't tell anybody." Moon said to her. 

"Ok! I won't! My lips are sealed! Kinkajou said, dancing around. "Especially not winter." Qibli added to her, worried that she would tell him. "Wait- why not?" She asked, stopping dancing. "It's just going to make things more awkward between us, and I don't want him to leave." He said. "Awww, ok. But you guys are gonna have to tell him sooner or later ya know." She said. "I know, we just plan to tell him....later." Moon said, giving Qibli a nervous glance.

"Ok, fine. BUT YOU TELL ME WHEN YOU HURT, HEAR ME?!" Kinkajou suddenly play shouted at Moon. "Alright, alright." Moon said, palms up. "And you be good for your mommy, little one." Kinkajou cooed at Moons swollen stomach.

"Uhm, Kinkajou? I get it if you want to talk to the egg, but right now you're kinda talking to my stomach." Moon said, looking like she was putting a puzzle together in her brain. "Oh. Well." Kinkajou said, blinking innocently. "Bye! I need a Papaya for dinner." Kinkajou called, skipping down the hallway.

Moon laughed. "Well, she's exited. That went better than I thought it would." "It's Kinkajou, what did you expect, a long and painful scolding?" Qibli said, snickering.

Moon suddenly gasped, her talons flying over her mouth. "What wrong?" Qibli said, rushing beside her. "Qibli, what about Thorn?! And my mother?!" She said, an exasperated look on her face. Uh oh. He hadn't thought about that. "Oh. Yeah." He said clicking his tongue. "I kinda maybe forgot."

"Qibli, we need to tell them now. The egg will come soon, and we can't really show them an egg or dragonet. They need to know. Now. We should tell Clay and Sunny, maybe they'll let us fly over to tell them." Moon rushed, pacing back and forth in the sleeping cave.

"Yes. That. We'll do that. Now." Qibli said, nodding in agreement. "Arghh, but what about Kinkajou?" Moon said, dragging her talons down her face, stressed. "We can't really leave a note saying; 'Your Friend who's With an egg is going to go around Pyrrhia, looking for her mother and Queen Thorn. Be back soon, bye!'" 

"Well, we have to go tell her, don't we?" Moon asked, nervous. They both knew she would never let her go alone, even with Qibli there with her.
