Moons POV

"Hey, Moon, do you want to go hunting?" Qibli had asked her just as they turned into the Prey Center, which was much busier as it had been this morning. As quickly as she saw-and recognized- everyone, she quickly and quietly slipped their mind into a raindrop. 

She knew he really meant, "Let's go away from the other dragons so we can talk" But he couldn't  say that aloud, so she said "Sure." They took off out of the open wall of the prey center. As soon as they were far enough to not be seen or heard by other dragons, (or hear them) they started talking.

"How do you feel?" Qibli asked. "Does the egg hurt?" He glanced at her swollen stomach. "I feel awful. And kinda. I just want to go curl up in a ball and sleep forever." She said, which was the truth. This was probably the only time she would either get alone, or alone with him. "I just hope no one noticed that I look a bit...bigger?" She tried, conscious about her size. He lifted up her chin with one talon.

"Moon, you're perfect the way you are. I understand what you mean, but I don't think anybody would either notice, or feel obligated to comment on it." Qibli said, smiling at her. 

They kept flying for a few minutes, side by side, until They reached a river close to Jade mountain where Moon could catch a fish while Qibli could go looking for lizards. She plopped down next to the river, tired and in pain. She wondered when the egg would come. She was worried, and they still hadn't told one of the prophecy dragonets yet. "Qibli, when are we going to tell them? I'm worried the egg will come soon, and if they don't know.." Moon trailed off, sighing.

"It could get chaotic." Qibli finished for her, while starting to think what Moon thought was another one of his long thought trails. Yet again, all of his thoughts were long trails. "We could take Clay and Sunny somewhere a more private to tell them, after we get back from hunting." He said, looking at her. "Yeah...that could work." Moon said, nodding. 

Moon sighed. "I can't see any fish, so that most likely means that I have to get up and look for a goat or something, and I really don't want to get up." She said, wincing at the pain.

"Don't worry, Moon. I can go get you something to eat." Qibli said, getting up. "So we're switching places? I get your food and you get mine?" Moon asked, laughing and wrinkling her snout at him. 

"Yup! Beside, I'm much better at hunting here now." Qibli said, puffing up his chest jokingly before letting it out and  laughing. "We'll see about that, Mister." Moon said, climbing up into a rock where she could see lizards. 

"Is that a challenge?" Qibli asked. "Yeah." Moon said, giggling. "Challenge excepted." Qibli said, imitating a smug voice with an even smugger face. He came over and kissed her on her forehead, saying, "Bye! I'll catch your goat faster than you can catch my lizard!" He called, leaping into the air then disappearing behind the mountain side. Moon laughed, before spotting a fat lizard trying to waddle into the shade, away from the heat. It was too far down for her to grab it from her rock, so now she was the one waddling. 

She quickly grabbed it, killing it in one swift motion as she brought it up onto the rock with her. Suddenly Qibli rolled into sight, battling a duck, and he seemed to be deliberately losing. She laughed, before waving the lizard at him. "Ha! I won! And it seems to me that you are struggling." Moon said, giggling at the very odd sight before her. "Well, I could stab it with my tail, but then you'd get a poisoned duck, which I would prefer not to happen. You're welcome, by the way!" Qibli called, straining to get the upper talon on the duck.

Moon carefully set down the lizard on the rock before waddling down to help him. "Ooh, this might hurt." Moon fake winced at the duck, stabbing her talons into its neck, killing it quickly. She helped Qibli up as the duck went fully limp all over, dead.

She waddled down to the river, and sat while passing Qibli his lizard as he sat down next to her. She trailed one claw through the river. "Well, we better get back for proof that we hunted after being gone for so long." Moon said, trying to stand up. "Oh, ok." Qibli said, helping her up with one of his wings under her own.

As they entered the prey center, Moon quickly spotted Clay and Sunny, making sure there was enough fish in the river. Moon also noticed that there weren't as many dragons as before as she slipped all of their minds into raindrops, except Clays and Sunny's.

They quickly and quietly set their prey down before walking up to the two of the prophecy dragonets. "Oh, Hey, Moon, Qibli." Sunny said turning to them. Clays response (or greeting) was more of a friendly grunt as he turned to them, his mouth stuffed with a pig.

Moon smiled and waved, trying not to waddle over there as Qibli said, "Hey." 'Well, here we go...'  Moon thought, a slightly nervous expression on her face. Well, too bad, feelings and worries. If they wanted to tell them, they had to do it now. "Hey, uhm, we have something to tell you..." Moon said, as she heard Sunny's mind go: 'Oh no, what happened this time..' and Clay think 'What happened? Did I eat the last goat? Wait, I'm eating a pig....'

"Uhm. Can It be somewhere a bit more private?" Qibli asked, lowering his voice. She didn't think anybody would hear, but just in case. "Oh, uh yeah, sure... why don't we go over to the balcony? Would that be ok?" Sunny asked, her mind full of worries. Moon couldn't keep them straight with all her other thoughts, so she slipped her mind into a raindrop. She slipped Clays into one too, even though all he was think about was food.

"Yeah, that's fine.." Moon said, her voice shaking a little. Sunny led them a little ways through the school, towards the balcony at the back of the school, where they could get enough privacy to talk. "So...what happened?" Sunny asked, nervous. Clay seemed sort of nervous, sort of distracted. 

"Ok, uhm..." Moon said, while thinking, 'Here we go....'
