While making its way down the sidewalk it pawed at the boys pant leg. This wasn't an act of attention seeking, more of a warning. The boy stopped down to scratch the ears of the cat and caught a glimpse of her shiny white teeth. With a quick motion he drew back his hand and the cat ran away.
