Chapter 98: Bachelorette Party

(Onihime POV)

Lucky me!

I get to spend tonight, the night before the wedding, with Gasper! I was wearing a set of black sweats and a gray tank top. I was in Gasper's hotel room, sitting on the couch while using Netflix to find something to watch. Gasper was in the kitchen, making some popcorn for us to enjoy. I decided to pick a show called Disenchantment, it looks like a fun show, and I think Gasper likes fantasy shows. Gasper walked out from the kitchen wearing a soft gray t-shirt, pink cat patterned pajama pants, and bright purple fuzzy socks. He was carrying a large bowl filled to the brim with glistening popcorn. Gasper sat down right next to me, and I turned on the American cartoons. Gasper leaned his shoulder on my shoulder and I ate some popcorn nervously. It should come to no one's surprise I may or may not have a massive crush on Gasper, which is weird cause he's more feminine than me, and I'm more masculine than him. We were always a weird combo to be seen around together, but hey, I get to hang around him, so I'll consider it a win.

"Hey Onihime, doesn't the elf and human kind of remind you of our relationship?" Gasper pointed out, and I thought for a moment. "Like you're tall and brave, while I'm just small and just follow you around."

"Hey, you're my emotional support vampire, and I feel my problems fly away when I'm with you." I suddenly blushed a bit because of how cheesy my line was. "So what about the demon guy? Who would he be?"

"I'm not sure...maybe Azazel?" Gasper thought really hard on who could be the demon. "I don't know anyone who is the third wheel with us, so it's hard to say."

"I'm not sure either, so maybe we don't have a demon third wheeling or time together." I shrugged while we watched the show together.  "So Gasper, I never got the chance to ask you this, but why did you start crossdressing anyways?"

"Oh, I thought that girls' outfits were cuter than male's outfits, so I started wearing them a little while after I joined Rias' peerage." Gasper answered whilst rubbing the back of his neck. "I know my sense is fashion is stupid, but I like it."

"Who said, I thought it was stupid?" I asked the small boy whilst playing with his hair. "I think it's cute and brave to dress up like that. You're bound to get a bunch of hate from dressing up the way you want to, so I respect your courage to spend who you are despite the hate you may receive."

"All that hate is also a reason that I like hiding in my box." Gasper informed me, and in response, I wrapped my arm around him.

"It's okay, no one's gonna insult you with me around." I confidently winked at Gasper, but then cringed at how weird I was being. "Hrrrrngh, you're not gonna forget that anytime soon, are you?"

"Hehe, nope!" Gasper giggled as he leaned into my side, and I resisted the urge to let out a fangirl scream. "By the way, why do you dress in pants? Skirts are really comfortable."

"Well when you're a daredevil like me, skirts are not a good idea because you'd sometimes be above the crowds, and I don't want people looking up to see my junk." I explained to the small boy. "Plus I never really looked good in skirts."

"I think you'd look great in a skirt." Gasper complimented me, and I was skeptical about his compliment.

You see, I was called a lot of things, but I never got any feminine compliments like 'I would look good in a skirt'. Ever since I was young, people have called me masculine, like 'handsome', 'cool', 'tough', and stuff like that. People told me that I wouldn't look good in skirts, so I should even bother. So Gasper complimenting me like this was new to me. I used my spare hand to cover my mouth, which was forming itself into a brilliantly wide smile. I think Gasper noticed my smile, but my phone rang, allowing me to distract myself from my blushing by reaching out to grab the phone to answer it. Much to my surprise, the person on the other side of the phone was (Y/N).

"Hey Onihime, terribly sorry to bother you, but there has been a problem." (Y/N)'s voice sounded serious and intimidating as usual. Does he know how to change the tone of his voice? "My father ran out of the bachelor party, so we need your help to find him. We can't use too much magic or we'll attract unwanted attention."

"Eh, why did he leave?" I asked, since this was random, and Asger looked to be excited for his own wedding.

"I heard my father say something about him being 'broken', any idea what that means?" (Y/N)...you innocent psychopath...you have no idea how emotions work do you?

"I'm guessing because he's still torn up from your mom trying to kill him and/or being in prison for the last ten years." I guessed, despite me having a relatively normal childhood, killing games aside, I never understood emotions that well. "You know how prisons get, especially when it comes to showers."

"...I have never been to prison, so I'm unsure of what you speak of, please clarify what you mean." I FORGOT, (Y/N) IS JUST AS INNOCENT AS ASIA. SHIT. "Hello, Onihime?"

"NOTHING." I hung up on (Y/N) before standing up from the couch and causing Gasper to fall on his side on the couch. "Come along now Gasper, we have a sailor boy to find and possibly get therapy for."

"O-Okay, I'll go get my coat."

Gasper put on a fluffy purple jacket for himself and I grabbed a leather jacket before putting it on. I also grabbed the two motorcycle helmets, one for me and one for Gasper. Gasper put on some ruby colored shoes while I put on sleek black leather boots. We both exited the room, still wearing our pajamas, but with coats over them so we didn't get cold. We went down the elevator and went to the parking lot, where my motorcycle was. I hopped onto it, and Gasper looked at me in confusion.

"Well, hop on." I patted the seat of the motorcycle behind me, which still had enough room for another person.

"But isn't it illegal for two people to ride on a motorcycle?" Gasper questioned as I put my helmet on. Safety first kiddos!

"It probably is, but you're talking to the ultimate daredevil, or super highschool level daredevil, so dangerous stuff like this doesn't even phase me." I held my hand out for Gasper to grab onto.

Gasper grabbed my hand and jumped onto the motorcycle with me. I waited for him to put his helmet on his head before reviving the motorcycle. Once the motorcycle was started, I began riding it out of the parking lot and through the city of Kyoto. The wind blew past us as Gasper wrapped his petite and fragile arms around my torso. Gasper was respectful enough to not touch my chest while we drove. Glowing lanterns could be seen in the distance, and even more lanterns were passed by. I was looking around for Asger, which was hard to do because it was nighttime, so it was hard to see. Gasper also looked around as well while he tightly clung to my back. After fifteen minutes of driving, I got annoyed and decided to try a stunt. I noticed a ramp nearby, so I accelerated the motorcycle, causing Gasper to scream in fear. As for me, I grinned. We reached the ramp and drove up it, causing us to be sent into the night sky. My heart was racing and beating so hard I thought it would shoot out of my chest. Unfortunately, gravity is a thing, so I was pulled down by gravity. Good news was that there was a building below us. I prepared my motorcycle for the impact and landed on the roof without any issues.

"O-O-O-Onihime...p-p-please don't d-d-do anymore s-stunts like that." Gasper wobbled off the motorcycle with legs like jelly before falling on his behind on the rooftop we were currently on top of.

"Sorry, I couldn't help myself, I saw a ramp and I took it." I giggled before kicking the stand for my motorcycle out and allowing the motorcycle to stand on its own. "Sorry about that Gasper, I'll buy you a candy to make up for it."

"For now though, can we enjoy the view?" Gasper patted the ceiling next to him, and I sat down next to the small vampire.

With the motorcycle behind me, I sat down next to Gasper to examine the night sky of Kyoto, with lanterns scattered around the city giving the city life. I laid my head on Gasper's own head.

Wait, wasn't there something we were supposed to be doing?

(Rias POV)

For the bachelorette party, we were going somewhere casual, just a simple restaurant. I was wearing my casual outfit, and all the other girls were too. I was driving a van with Akeno, Asia, Koneko, Xenovia, Rossweisse and Irina. Everyone else was either at the hotel or driving with us in a different van. All the bachelorette party members were in vans in front of us forming a line. I could hear Spanish music coming from one of the vans, and I'm assuming those are the party loving relatives Natalia is embarrassed of. We followed the vans to a sushi restaurant Natalia had wanted to try. We arrived a couple minutes after driving and we parked the vans, allowing all of us to exit the vans. In case it wasn't obvious, Yasaka was using magic to hide her ears and tails, and so was Kunou. I noticed Natalia, talking in Spanish to her female relatives and looking slightly tuckered out. Natalia was something called an introvert, meaning she is not the biggest fan of social interactions. Natalia guided all of us inside to meet with some person in charge of reservations.

"Excuse me, I had a reservation under Natalia Gonzales for 40." Natalia informed the employee, who looked through a list of people whilst looking somewhat confused.

"Sorry miss, I don't see a Natalia Gonzales, but I do see a Natalia (L/N)." The man in charge of reservations informed Natalia, whose relatives were snickering behind her.

"My bad, I'm getting married tonight, so I must have mixed up my last name." Natalia grit her teeth in annoyance, something tells me this was a prank by her relatives.

"Alright then Mrs.(L/N), come right this way."

The greeter guided us through the restaurant to a series of tables lined up to allow 40 people to sit at the chairs. Natalia's relatives sat on one side of the tables and the rest of us sat on the opposite side of the tables. Natalia sat at the head of the table, with Natalia's mother on one side of her and me on the other. We were handed menus and given time to think about our options.

"I'll probably get the Dragon Roll, Mom, I recommend you get the Snow Roll." Natalia gave her mother advice on what to order because her mom can't read Japanese. "I'll order for you."

"Gracias." Natalia's mother thanked her daughter in Spanish, wait, can she understand Japanese.

"So Rias, since I need a break from all the dresses and cakes, how is it going between you and (Y/N)?" Natalia decided to get the latest gossip between (Y/N) and I. "If you don't spill, I'll tell my relatives you and him are engaged. Careful, I think the wine aunts have already started drinking."

"Well played Natalia, but we haven't been able to go on a date yet because of (Y/N) dying and the wedding taking place, but we've decided to go on a date after the wedding and see what happens." I answer honestly, intriguing Natalia.

"Interesting, I think you two should go on a date somewhere you both would like, maybe a flower garden for (Y/N) and an anime convention for you." Natalia suggests, and I looked at Natalia with surprise because I haven't told her about my love of anime yet. "Oh don't give me that look, I know you love anime, and I also know all you girls are in love with (Y/N). Not like 'I have a crush on him', but full on 'I want to marry this man right now'."

"Eh? You don't find it weird?" Akeno questioned, we thought she would be against the idea because she initially didn't like Akeno or I.

"I find it weird, but that kid is a lovable disaster, and he can't be left alone too long, so you all have to protect him from his loneliness, got it?" Natalia smirked as she sipped some sake. "Also, try not to overwhelm him. I think he's only prepared himself for one wife, so go easy on him will ya?"

"I'll try my best to make him happy!" Asia, who was sitting right next to me let out a determined huff, and Natalia giggled.

"Good, because I know how long devils live." Natalia looked somewhat depressed. "Asger and I are humans, so our lifetime will pass by you guys in the blink of an eye. We'll eventually die one day, and (Y/N) will live much longer before seeing us in the next life."

"Natalia, dear, you shouldn't talk like that, especially in front of your family." Yasaka gestured towards Natalia's relatives, who weren't even paying attention to the conversation.

"Relax, none of them understand a word of Japanese." Natalia smiled. "My only request before that happens, give me grandkids before I pass away you idiot ninas! I know you girls pretty much live forever, but I don't, so let me spoil my grandkids while I can move!"

"Trust me, I for one want to get started, but (Y/N) wants to wait until we're married before we do any of that." I sighed, I love (Y/N), but I really want to do more intimate things with him. Still, he respects my distance, so I respect his distance.

"(Y/N)...you adorable dumbass..." Natalia was holding in stifled laughter. "Tell you what, the moment (Y/N) proposes or you guys propose to him, you guys can get busy. You all have my blessing."

"That's funny, I thought you didn't like us." Akeno looked at Natalia, who nodded before sipping some more sake.

"I'll be honest with you, I didn't trust some of you because girls I meet who act like some of you usually tend to be bad news." Natalia admits like she was admitting a mistake. "However, you girls proved me wrong. I have never met more honest or sincere women in my life. Also, I was honestly just jealous of Yasaka's bust size."

"That doesn't explain why I was invited here?!" Oh yeah, I forgot to mention but the fallen Angel known as Dohnaseek was invited to this event as well, we're not sure why he was invited.

"The enemy of my enemy is my friend." Natalia answered in a vague tone before laughing to herself.

"But we're not trying to kill Issei anymore." Kalawarner was also here as a bachelorette, but something just tells me she was just here for the booze.

"Key word being anymore." Natalia pointed at the fallen Angel squad before her phone went off. "Pardon me for a second." Natalia got up from her chair and walked a little ways away from us. "Hola?" Natalia's face quickly went from joyful to distressed, then full blown panic. "QUE?! What do you mean Asger said that and ran off?! Fuck it, I'll go ask him myself."

"Natalia, what happened?" Koneko got up from her chair and took initiative by asking Natalia what was wrong.

"Asger is what's wrong." Natalia sighed as she walked towards the restaurant's exit. "Sorry, he hasn't been diagnosed yet, but I think he needs to go to therapy because he has some emotional problems. I thought we were past this, but apparently not."

"Wait, we'll go look for him, you go ahead and stay here with your family." Kunou volunteered while she also got up from her chair to join Natalia.

"No need, when he gets like this, I worry about Asger." Natalia's voice was full of sincerity. "I appreciate the help, but I'm going no matter what. If my soon-to-be husband has something wrong, anything wrong, I want to stand by his side to support him."

"Alright, I'll go join up with (Y/N) and form a search party with him." I volunteered to be paired with (Y/N). Due to our good chemistry together, it was logical for us to work together. "I'll also meet up with my brother to see if we can do anything to help find him quicker."

"Thank you girls, but I have a feeling I know where Asger would go, and I'll go there on my own." Natalia pulled a set of van keys out from her pocket. "Lucky for me, I didn't drink much, so I should be fine to drive."

"Alright, but I'll be keeping an eye on you from above." Akeno pointed up, most likely planning on using her wings to keep her promise.

"Good luck Natalia, and I hope you find him."

"I hope so too."

(A/N: Again, some reminders: There is a discord link on my account, so join it if you want notifications of my works or want to talk to me, and there's a Q&A on chapter 101. There is also possibly going to be a lemon, but only if you guys want it. Like it won't affect the story at ALL, like nothing will change if you choose not to read the lemon. In fact, it'll probably take place years after the series has ended. To prevent spoilers, I'll just keep details to a minimum.
