Chapter 87: Cao Cao, You Need to F*cken Chill
(Your POV)
After we all passed our exams, we went back to the hotel where everyone else was waiting for us. Azazel met up with us in the lobby before guiding us to the room everyone was in. The hotel room looked like the inside of a penthouse, but I guess this is pretty standard for hell. Azazel was clearly drunk and looking at the girls' chests, but the moment we entered the hotel room, Vali kept the man in check. Despite this, Azazel continued drinking like there was no tomorrow, as was Dagda, unsurprisingly. Due to the practical having no cameras, no one knows how we did. Also, I sent Regulus back to Sairaorg after the match, since Regulus needed some time to think. I sat on the edge of the couch next to Rias, who planted a kiss on my cheek upon seeing my arrival.
"Hey (Y/N), how was it?" Rias asked as she took a bite from the pizza she got from the pizza box that was resting on the coffee table in front of us. "Did you pass?"
"Amazingly, I think I went overboard." I informed my girlfriend, who handed me some pizza on a plate. "All three of us passed our exams without any issues, though I did feel bad for my opponent. He couldn't do much. So how is Koneko holding up?"
"She's resting back at the house, and your parents are looking after her, primarily Natalia because she's always wanted a daughter." Rias informed me. "Maybe when we're married we'll give her a granddaughter."
"Is it me, or has it been too long since the Hero Faction attacked us?" I feel like Cao Cao has made me his rival, like how Issei is Vali's rival. "Where are they?"
"Beats me, they're probably off skulking somewhere from how hard Vali kicked Cao Cao's ass." Bikou smirked as he stuffed an entire slice of pizza into his mouth.
"Speaking of them, I heard that the True Longinus's equivalent of the Juggernaut Drive is called Truth Idea from Siegfried warning Cao Cao that I may be able to use it." I informed everyone, and everyone got serious. "Is it possible to gain some intel on it?"
"Cao Cao didn't tell anyone shit about the Truth Idea, and that's because Cao Cao can't use it because he doesn't know how to." Zenorse was sipping some kind of energy drink. "Your next line is; How do you know that?"
"How do you know that?" Azazel asked in a drunken daze before getting angry and gripping his forehead.
"Well not only am I a genius beyond compare, but it's because I have spies watching all Longinus users a solid 50% of the time." Zenorse explained. "My spies have confirmed that Cao Cao's abilities only allow him to use a subspecies of the True Longinus' balance breaker known as Polar Night Longinus Chakravartin. It's still dangerous, but not nearly as much as the True Longinus' true balance breaker; True Longinus Götterdämmerung, both Balance breakers are nightmares to type. Any attempts to use the Truth Idea are last resort bluffs."
"While this is all good information, how does this help us fight against a monster like the True Longinus?" Vali answered, but then he was suddenly paralyzed, and Zenorse' eyes were draconic and glowing amber.
"As to be expected from your battle hungry mouth, you don't take to examine all the details. Hey (Y/N), let me see Ddraig for a moment." Zenorse asked, and I summoned Ddraig and let him examine it. "Thanks kid, I'm just trying to understand this weapon so I can figure out who built it."
"Didn't the God of the Bible make them?" Xenovia asked while Zenorse examined the weapons.
"We're having some doubts about who actually made them." Azazel pointed out. "For starters according to Micheal and from what I've seen, the God of the Bible never had any actual tools or any kind of affinity with making things like weapons, tools, or stuff like that. In fact, I don't think I've ever seen him making a thing back when I knew him."
"Wait, but didn't the God of the Bible create the universe?" Irina questioned, and for a creation god, I feel like making things should be a pet hobby of his.
"Hey, now that I think about it, back when I was an angel, I heard rumors that God was on talking terms with some humans, and they were quite close around the time the Longinus were made." Azazel recalled. "I don't know much about the first guy, but I do know his wife because he would never shut up about how great she was. I think her name was Alice."
"Alice, did she have the title as the Ultimate Storyteller?" I recalled the name that Regulus told me about earlier, maybe this was my chance to figure out who she was.
"Sorry kid, I don't know much about the Big G or his human associates." Azazel informed me, and I guess there goes my only lead. "You can ask Michael next time you see him though, he probably knows them."
"Great, with that mystery nobody cares about out of the way, Asia, why don't you use your familiar more often?" Zenorse questioned. "No offense girl, but you need some way to protect yourself so everyone else can focus on just attacking instead of protecting you as well."
"...Sorry for being a burden." Asia looked down, and suddenly the streamer started apologizing.
"Look, you're a healer, it's kind of your job to stay behind everyone to heal." Zenorse pointed out. "In fact, you're one of the best healers I've met. Well, one of the best healers I haven't sent into the Shadow Realm."
"Is it possible for me to attain a balance breaker?" Asia questioned with hope in her voice.
"Balance breakers are kind of overrated if you ask me." Zenorse stated. "They just enhance the best qualities of your sacred gear. Like Kiba's just makes one good sword, Issei's allows him to boost more, and Vali's just makes him not look like an edgelord. If you ask me, you need something that doesn't make you an easy target."
"He's right, Asia, with the way you are right now, you would be easy picking if (Y/N) isn't nearby." Akeno pointed out. "I would recommend you to learn how to make barriers to not only protect yourself, but everyone else too. Illusions would be helpful to learn because they make you hard to track. Summoning is better for defense, but it allows you to protect yourself properly. Of course, magic is an option, but I don't think hurting people is in your nature."
"Plus it's worth mentioning that Asia's familiar is a sprite dragon, so she could summon that to protect her." Kiba pointed out, and I kind of forgot about that. "Plus (Y/N) can summon roads, slugs, and Jormungandr in the right situations to help protect Asia."
"I don't want to risk summoning Jormungandr in the real world, for fear of starting Ragnarok, so I'd only use him when placed in a separate dimension." I explained. "If Jormungandr's presence didn't affect the chances of Ragnarok happening, then I'd use him more often."
"Interesting...but what if I gave you my own scroll of summons..?" Zenorse was speaking in a weird voice.
"Like the dragons?" Ursula questioned from behind the chair Zenorse was sitting in.
"They're wyverns Ursula." Zenorse corrected. "And no, I'm a sea/game god nowadays, so I was going to give him some powerful fish summons."
"Better than nothing..." I sweat dropped, I honestly wanted to summon dragons.
"Catch." In a flash of gold and blue light, Zenorse summoned a scroll in his hands before tossing it to me. "Be careful with those summons, most of them are effectively kaijus, and the rest are just downright terrifying. Be careful while summoning them." Suddenly Zenorse spoke in Kuroka's voice. "Your next line is: Looks like Vali's warning was ignored, nyan."
An unsettling feeling suddenly surrounded us, and I looked at Vali, and he felt the sudden change as well. This feeling...it was Dimension Lost. Dagda noticed this sudden development and reached into a sack he kept on his person, then he tossed me a familiar spear, the Gae Bulg. Kiba summoned a pair of demonic swords, Xenovia unsheathed Ex Durandal, Irina got Solais out, and the rest of us got into combat stances. Though Zenorse didn't seem all that concerned, he was eating Doritos.
"Looks like Vali's warning was ignored, nyah." Kuroka suddenly shot a glare at Zenorse. "You're really annoying, nyan, you know that?"
"I'm not the gal saying 'nyan' every five seconds."
"Wait, so what was the warning?" I asked while putting on my mask to run a scan of the whole building.
"I told them not to interrupt us or attack you guys while we were here." Vali summoned the Divine Dividing wings on his back.
"Guys, this hotel empty except for someone in the lobby." I informed my allies with my heat vision activated, I noticed a single person down in the lobby.
"Alright, Bikou, Arthur, you guys are with me." Vali opened the window. "Kuroka, you'll stay behind with Le Fay and Fenrir, I need to go see if the rest of the Hero Faction is here, and if so, take care of them. And (Y/N)-, and he's already kicked down the door..."
Without a moment's hesitation I kicked down the door and ran out of the hotel room before jumping over the railing in front of the door. I summoned my single pair of devil wings to glide myself down towards the lobby, where the heat signature was. I landed on the ground without so much as a scratch, and before me as a familiar dark haired man dawning an overly glamorous spear confidently. Behind the man, was a man clad in a red cloak, Georg.
"Cao Cao..." I aimed my Gae Bulg at the man. "Why are you here?"
"(Y/N)..." Cao Cao pointed a finger at me before a fireball suddenly came from Cao Cao's fingertips, so in response I was about to counter it, but Ophis suddenly appeared in front of me and made the fireball disappear. "So...you're finally dating that red headed devil from the Gremory family. But why couldn't you have dated the fallen angel girl, thanks to you I lost a couple hundred yen."
"Join the club." Azazel rushed down the stairs with the rest of my group as I pulled out my Lauer and aimed it at Cao Cao, I began charging it with salt magic. "So what was the reason you forced all of us into a separate dimension? Surely not to make conversation?"
"Oh I was just curious to see where Ophis went with Vali." Cao Cao sounded like a mad parent, but I sensed a hint of malice in his voice. "So would any of you like to explain why she's here?"
"Well it all started when Ophis started becoming curious about Issei because of his weird power development, and when Vali heard about it, they took us to (Y/N)'s place." Le Fay explained. "The second reason is to lure out the person who was targeting Ophis, which means..." Le Fay meekly pointed at Cao Cao. "You're the one targeting Ophis?"
"Wait, didn't you guys kidnap Yasaka just because Great Red was a minor inconvenience to her?" I asked in confusion, and Cao Cao nodded. "Why do I get the feeling you try your hardest to make things as hard as possible for us?"
"Cao Cao is after me?" Ophis' neck twitched without her showing any other emotion.
"Yes Ophis, you see, we need you for something." Cao Cao explained as he stood up from the langue chair he was sitting in. "Well, we don't need the current you."
"I will not lose to Cao Cao." Ophis sounded pissed at Cao Cao, who spun his spear around.
"You know Ophis, I wonder how you put up with all this shame, working with the enemy and all." Cao Cao suddenly disappeared, and I tried tracking his movements, but my eyes couldn't keep up. In the last moments, I saw Cao Cao in front of Ophis with his spear ready to impale the petite girl. However, before he could impale her, Zenorse's right hand turned into a white dragon's claw and grabbed onto the True Longinus. I waited for something bad to happen, but nothing. It was like a regular spear to him, wait...he's like me! He can also use the Longinus!
""Where is this 'shame' you speak of?" Zenorse moved the tip of the spear away from Ophis, forcing Cao Cao to focus on him. Zenorse was grinning, revealing rows of shark-like teeth paired with his dragon-like eyes. "I can't seem to find any around here, so tell me, where did you hide yours? "
Cao Cao shot a powerful ray of light from the tip of his spear, and Zenorse suddenly teleported away from the tip of the spear, allowing the rear of us to rush towards him. I attempted to stab him using the tip of Gae Bulg, but he knocked the blade tip away. Cao Cao tried using the other end of his staff to strike my side, but I stepped back and aimed my Lauer at Cao Cao to fire the salt infused bullet. Cao Cao blocked the bullet with ease, but the broken blade turned into multiple crystals which did manage to plant themselves into Cao Cao's body. Before I could do anything else, the doors swung open to reveal Vali, who looked pissed.
"Cao Cao, you seem rather confident only to bring yourself and Georg." Vali calmed himself enough to have a normal conversation with Cao Cao.
"Ah, Vali, perfect timing." Cao Cao actually sounded pleased, and I began growing cautious. "First the infinity dragon, then the two heavenly dragons, and some Joseph Joestar impersonator who is radiating a strong draconic aura showed up. Georg, now is a good time to use the Dragon Eater."
"The dragon eater, wasting your trump card already?" Vali asked confidently, but I was still cautious, since I'm currently in possession of Ddraig, I count as the Red Dragon for now. "So what is it; a new hero faction member who specializes in dragon slaying. Or a new Longinus."
"Vali, asking questions like that is a horrible idea." Zenorse had a 'boi' formation with his hands.
"No it's not Vali, you see the Dragon Eater is a code name for something the god of the Bible created." Cao Cao explained while a magic circle appeared in the large space of the lobby. "Let's call it. The time for opening the jar from hell has come."
From the magic circle, a disgusting yet purely evil aura came out. From the magic circle, a giant crucified being emerged, like the cross he was stabbed onto was being pulled from the magic circle by an invisible hook. I examined the giant body and saw a set of black wings, meaning he was a fallen angel. However, his lower half was that of a lime green colored serpentine dragon, with four small legs sprouting in certain points like an Asian dragon. A massive nail with unknown letters written on it was impaled through the man's chest. Chains with the same kind of writing bound the body to the cross alongside the various nails over its body. Nails were pierced through the fallen angel's skull, causing blood to drip down the man's head. His tanned body was covered in gnashes, blisters, burn marks, and bite marks. The man slowly parted his dry lips before an unholy roar filled the area, that roar let out so much anger, jealousy, pain, resentment, and sorrow. I felt as though it was targeting Vali, Azazel, Ophis, Zenorse, and myself.
"See?" Zenorse pointed at the atrocity against mankind. "This is why you don't ask questions like 'oh yeah, what's the worst you can do?', this shit happens."
"Partner, avoid that thing at all costs!" Ddraig warned me in a panicked voice. "Due to me being your sacred gear for now, you're part dragon!"
"Then I'll just send you back to Issei, later." With a snap of my fingers, I could no longer feel Ddraig's magic inside of me, meaning he went back to Issei's body through the magic link. Almost instantly, I noticed the energy stopped focusing on me.
"To summon such a thing...you guys undid the seal?!" Azazel asked while pulling his hair in frustration. "How crazy must you guys be to summon the literal hatred of the biblical god! What is Hades thinking...?! How did you guys get past him...?"
"Oh we just negotiated with Hades, no biggie." Cao Cao informed us. "Hades really hates Zeus for agreeing to sign up for this little alliance you guys have going on, so he's letting us use this thing."
"What a bitch." Ursula sounded tired of this before she pulled an empty bottle of Vodka from her purse. Then she bashed the end of it against the wall to create a jagged weapon. "Anyhow, let's go."
"Devour her, Samael." Cao Cao smirked and snapped his fingers, causing a massive black tongue to erupt from Samael's body. Calling it a tongue would be an understatement, it looked like a long leech. The tongue quickly rushed to Ophis and surrounded the small girl.
"I want to make a sex joke, but considering how Ophis is a loli, I don't wanna get on a watch list." Azazel sighed in frustration.
"Same."
"Kiba, cut it!" Rias ordered the blonde knight, who rushed toward the tongue at high speeds and tried cutting it, only for half the blade to disappear into the black tongue, almost like a black hole. "Okay...let's see how it fares against magic!" Rias sent an orb of destruction at the tongue, but it was absorbed as well.
"Half dimension!" Vali tried using half dimension on the tongue, but it was largely unaffected.
"Gun!" I shot several magic infused rounds into the tongue, but nothing happened.
"Okay guys, keep Samael the fuck away from Vali and Azazel, especially Vali." Zenorse ordered as he summoned some kind of bow in his hands. "Samael is the ultimate dragon slayer, his very existence is just anti-dragon."
"You're a dragon too, dumbass!" Dagda shouted while running towards Georg with the intent to kill.
"Yeah, but I'm also the Ouryuu, so I'll never die until I say so." Zenorse then drew his bowl back. "(Y/N), call one of your relics to you, it's close enough to a Longinus."
"Hachiman!" I called the giant sword to me, and when I caught it, I was sent back thanks to the sheer weight of it. It was so heavy, I had to carry it using two hands. "Junkyard Dog: Tyr Mode." A golden light covered my left arm before the thick gauntlet covered it.
"Nice weapon, so now let's see if it's more than just for show." Cao Cao appeared in front of Dagda and knocked his club away from the giant man before piercing his side. "Hey Georg, focus on controlling Samael, I can take care of all these guys."
"Cao Cao, I know you're strong and all, even you can't take on Vali, Kuroka, Le Fay, Connla, (Y/N), Rias, Akeno, Kiba, Asia, Xenovia, Irina, Azazel, Dagda, and two strangers we have never even heard of." Georg reminded his ally.
"I will make it happen, if I can't, then I'm not worthy of using this spear." Cao Cao sounded confident.
"Correction: you're not worthy of the spear in the first place!" Zenorse shouted while drawing a glowing arrow back.
"Balance Breaker: Polar Night Longinus Chakravartine." Cao Cao's spear began glowing, and seven bowling ball-sized orbs appeared around the man. "You know, I wanted to name my balance breaker Ideal Ruler of Heaven, it sounds cooler."
"I personally think Chakravartine sounds more appropriate to be honest." I threw my opinion out there, and Cao Cao nodded to show his agreement. "So maybe you should stick with that."
"Okay then, remember guys, his balance breaker has seven abilities, all of which are connected to those orbs of his." Azazel activated his balance breaker. "I don't know what they are, so be careful guys."
"This is why he's the strongest amongst humans, there is no one other human who can compare to his power." Vali activated his balance breaker, and actually sounded scared, however, Zenorse was laughing. "What's so funny?"
"HYAHAHAHA! Cao Cao? The strongest human? He's not even close to tenth place!" Zenorse was laughing. "The real strongest human surpassed Cao Cao before he was even born." Zenorse then let out a hefty wheeze. "Cao Cao is just an underhanded little shit compared to the strongest human!"
"Underhanded little shit?" Cao Cao began laughing as well. "Man you are prideful!" Cao Cao then sent one of the orbs our way. "Cakka Ratana."
From behind us, we heard something shatter, and I turned around to see that Xenovia's Ex Durandal shattered, so Zenorse shot the arrow at the orb. I rushed towards Cao Cao with Hachiman raised up, I crashed the blade downwards, causing Cao Cao to dodge. I tried slashing at him, but I noticed an orb was heading straight towards Hachiman, luckily, before the orb made contact, a wooden shield appeared in a flash of blue and gold to take the hit. However, I suddenly heard Xenovia cough, and I turned around again to see a large hole in her stomach. Asia rushed towards the girl and began healing her. As for me, I activated Megalodon to cover my body in scales. Cao Cao jumped back to avoid a combination attack from both Akeno's lightning , Rias' magic, and Nancy's frost, allowing Kiba to appear behind Cao Cao to slash at him.
"Itsutei Ratana." Cao Cao deflected Kiba's swords as a light orb went towards Rias, Akeno, and Nancy before enveloping all of them in light. "This orb cancels out the powers of women."
"Really?" Ursula asked in disbelief while she rushed towards Cao Cao holding her broken bottle. "I feel like that's kind of sexist."
"Yeah, it's the most powerful Longinus out there, why can't it just cancel out the powers of everyone?" Azazel summoned a light spear and threw it at Cao Cao. "Now that I think about it, sacred gears often adapt to their user's will and personality. Like when Issei used Ddraig to destroy clothes, and Asia heals people. So..."
"Let's not discuss my balance breaker." Cao Cao dodged another swing from my mammoth sword. "Atsusa Ratana."
Kuroka flipped over my head and delivered a kick to Cao Cao's head, sending him towards me and allowing me to swing upwards, causing a scar to appear on Cao Cao's chest. Kuroka noticed an orb coming at Le Fay, who was charging an attack at Samael, so she tried punching it away from the girl, only for Kuroka and Le Fay to suddenly disappear. In the corner of my eye, I saw Le Fay and Kuroka were behind Xenovia and Asia. Le Fay couldn't stop her spell, so it was suddenly flying towards our healer. I dropped Hachiman and rushed towards the attack, allowing the powerful blast of magic to hit me instead of Asia or Xenovia. I felt most of the skin of my chest fall off, but shark scales quickly replaced my missing skin. Azazel and Vali rushed towards Cao Cao, and somehow, Cao Cao managed to hold them off until he pierced Azazel's stomach with the True Longinus.
"Medusa's Eye!" Cao Cao's left eye suddenly glowed a dark green color, and Azazel's legs began turning to stone. "Maniratana."
Vali summoned a magic circle in front of him and from the magic circle, a tornado of raw demonic power shot itself at Cao Cao. A sphere deflected the strike so it would attack Kuroka and Le Fay, knocking them out in the process. I couldn't rush over to them in time, so to help, I summoned two slugs to heal them. I called Hachiman back to me and took off my mask, allowing me to see Cao Cao's skeleton and muscles.
"So...you used my own spell against my allies?" Vali asked while jumping back to avoid Cao Cao's slash.
"You see Vali, you cared so much about your allies, that your caring made you weak." Cao Cao had all seven orbs surrounding him. "The red dragon is a perverted vegetable and the white dragon is a battle hungry idiot, when did the heavenly dragons become so weak. Georg, Samael."
Samael's hand suddenly focused on Vali, and from it, a blob of black goop shot out from hit, hitting Vali dead on. I quickly rushed over to Vali's side and summoned a water magic circle, allowing me to wash all the goop off his body. Vali's armor was now missing, leaving him covered in blood. For Vali, this goop was most likely acidic, so I did my best to wash it off him before summoning a slug to heal his injuries. Dagda, Kiba, and Ursula tried surrounding Cao Cao, but the spearman cut all of their stomachs, causing them to collapse. Connla helped by enveloping our injured allies into the darkness, transporting them to Asia. Things weren't looking good for us. I have to help Asia heal everyone, but Cao Cao will target Asia if I don't focus on protecting her. However, people will die if I don't do anything to help them. Think (Y/N), think!
"Behold...the Almighty."
Zenorse made his bow disappear in a flash of gold and blue light before an odd sword appeared in his clasp. The sword's guard was made of gold with a cross guard that took the shape of a dove bearing an olive branch. The silver and black, double edged sword was engraved with a tree design, with various crystals dotting the blade's flat surface. Zenorse raised the sword upwards before slashing downwards. Despite being around three meters away from Samael, Samael's tongue was suddenly cut in half, allowing Ophis to walk out in a slightly drained state.
"Your next line is; What kind of weapon is that?" Zenorse chuckled as he snapped his fingers, and a golden aura began covering the area. "Well the answer to that question is that this was a later version of the True Longinus, in fact, this was the very weapon used to kill the Biblical God. Well, what actually killed him was a rock I named Dwayne Johnson, but this sword is still pretty neat."
"Georg, how much power did we take?" Cao Cao questioned the wizard, who was starting to sweat.
"We took more than a third of her power, so I'm going to send Samael back." Georg took a breath in and out, followed by Samael letting out a horrid screech as he sunk back into the magic circle, hopefully to never be seen again.
"My power was taken, Cao Cao, what have you done?" Ophis asked while looking at her hands.
"Yeah, that's right Ophis, you see, we needed you to work for us." Cao Cao explained while he deactivated his balance breaker, causing the orbs to disappear. "However, that was impossible, so we set our minds on stealing your power." Cao Cao then pointed his spear into the air. "With your power, we will create a new Uroboros."
"You guys are trying to create the new Ophis?!" Azazel questioned in extreme concern while signaling me with his eyes by focusing on me, then Cao Cao. "Are you guys insane?!"
"Well we wanted to ask Ophis a favor to do this, but considering how we have to deal with the Great Red just to talk to her, we ditched that plan a long time ago." Cao Cao explained. "We only put up with her this long because she was a great propaganda figure who always gathers attention wherever she goes. A great way for us to gather new recruits."
"Cao Cao, aren't you going to finish off (Y/N), Vali, or Issei?" Georg asked his friend, who shook his head.
"No, one of the two heavenly dragons is in a coma, and the other is nothing more than a barbarian." Cao Cao glared at Vali, not even looking at me. I used this to my advantage and got my knife out. "As for (Y/N)...sure wild dogs can be dangerous...but they can be taken care of no problem."
"Cao Cao, just a heads up, Hades is coming after the weakened Ophis with his army of Reapers, so we should leave." Georg summoned a magic circle around himself and Cao Cao.
"Hey guys, I have a proposition for a game you can play, Team Vali and Gremory." Cao Cao proposed. "As you may know, reapers are heading over here to retrieve Ophis, but Siegfried is also with them. You will win if all of you make it out of this safely. Now, can all of you get out of here while protecting Ophis and yourselves? Well let's find out."
Cao Cao then vanished along with Georg in the magic circle, and I looked around the room. Rias, Akeno, and Nancy were powerless at the moment. Zenorse, Ursula, and Connla appeared to be in perfect condition. Ophis was physically unharmed, but now she had no powers. Everyone else was getting healed by a very overwhelmed Asia, who was trying her best. I was about to help her, but then a golden aura began enveloping all of us, healing everyone in the process. I looked at the source and saw Zenorse with a golden circle in his hands like a halo.
"Okay, this situation is terrible, but I have never lost a game before in my life." Zenorse smirked. "So let's show that sexist douche lord what we're capable of."
"Is Cao Cao actually sexist?"
"Don't know, don't care, we're just assholes."
(A/N: I honestly hate Cao Cao, and no it's not because he's wildly inconsistent, narcissistic, and just does whatever the fuck he wants, but it's because whenever I write a chapter featuring him, it ends up being longer than my usual 3,000 words. Why don't I like writing long chapters? Idk, I just feel as though they don't do too well. Especially since my recent chapters haven't been getting as many likes...oh well, time to work on secret projects.
