Ladybug is sitting on a big, cushioned chair before a large stage, which ends approximately two metres in front of her. There are bright white spotlights shining down on it. She looks up to the wall above backstage where there is a large neon sign, blazing the words 'Chat Walk' in black and green.

She hears a beat begin to play and looks back to the stage to see Chat Noir strutting down the stage, face full of confidence. He walks the length of the stage, pausing to give her a wink and causing her cheeks to turn pink, before turning and strutting back up the stage.

Next comes Spider-Man, following the same procedure as Chat: strutting down the length of the stage, each step to the beat, before pausing at the end of the stage and blowing her a kiss, causing her whole face to pick up this new pink colour, before turning and strutting back up the stage.

Then, to amaze her even more, both of the boys begin to sashay down the stage; swaying their hips and trying to subtly walk in front of the other. Whilst they walk together, she can she them 'gracefully' trying to shove each other off the stage (with Chat Noir very nearly succeeding). They then both pause at the end of the stage, twirling and posing in the most dramatic ways that they can think of before turning and sashaying up the stage, still continuing to try and shove the other off of it.

And Ladybug hates to admit it but she loves it. Giggling at their silly antics and admiring them in their poses. She wants it to go on and on so that she can continue in the fun of watching them show off.

Now the beat changes, becoming faster as someone else begins to walk down the stage. She looks down to see that she is no longer wearing her Ladybug suit, but is now sitting there as Marinette. She looks up to she that the figure strutting towards her is Peter Parker. And her breath catches in her throat. She watches as he pauses at the end of the stage, bowing and giving her a flirtatious smile, before standing and turning back the way he came.

And as he goes backstage the beat stops, the stoplights shutting off and the sign disappearing. Marinette begins to stand and panics. She loves Adrien. She wants to be with Adrien. But she's been watching these three other guys and feeling the things that she feels for him - and more.

 "Marinette! Marinette! Wake up!" Tikki calls.

Marinette sits up in her bed, facing Tikki who is hovering before her. She looks around her to see that she is no longer at the 'Chat Walk', but is instead in her room.

 "Tikki? What time is it? I just had the strangest dream..." she says.

"I know, Marinette. Everyone is dreaming - they're all having nightmares! There's an akuma and you have to find it." Tikki informs her.

"Nightmares? I didn't have a nightmare. How do you know everyone's having nightmares anyway?" asks Marinette.

"Well, your parents do talk in their sleep - and loudly - but I can sense it. The akuma. We have to go now!" Tikki exclaims as Marinette's alarm goes off, "I don't think that there'll be school today."

 And with that Marinette climbs out of bed, quickly getting dressed before calling out, "Tikki, spots on!" She is then engulfed in a bright pink and red light, replacing Marinette with Ladybug. 

 Ladybug climbs out of Marinette's bedroom and onto the rooftop. She scans her surroundings for the akuma, but she sees nothing from the morning sun. The morning is warm and bright, you would never expect the torment that the citizens of Paris are being subjected to.

She takes out her yo-yo and calls Chat Noir. It rings a few times before he picks up. She watches as his face fills the screen, tired and worried.

 "Good morning, Bugaboo. What's wrong?" he asks.

"Have you had any strange dreams - nightmares, even?" she questions, pacing a little.

 She watches him pause for a second, contemplating his answer before he replies with, "I guess you could say that."

"My kwami said that there's an akuma that is giving everyone weird dreams; it's why no one's up yet. We need to go and find it." she states, confidently.

Chat takes a breath before replying, "Well, at least we don't have to worry about school today! I'll go and look for it. I'll let you know if you find it, you do the same."

"Agreed." she says, ending the call and placing her yo-yo back on her hip.

  Ladybug swings off of the roof in order to look from a higher vantage point. She scans the area until she sees a young girl: she's not very tall, has long, flowing black hair, a long green dress with lines of white and sparkles of blue, and is floating along the street. The akuma.

 Just as Ladybug is about to call Chat Noir her yo-yo rings. She picks it up to see that Chat is calling her. Answering, she sees his face fill the screen.

"Ladybug," he says, "I've found the akuma."

"What? No, you haven't." she states.

"Yes, I have. He's right here. Dressed in gold, with this gold hat and matching staff." he says, obviously thinking that they dressed rather oddly.

"No, you haven't. She's right here. Green dress and floating." Ladybug says, a puzzled expression on her face.

  A short moment passes in which they switch from looking at the 'akumas' and looking at each other. Finally Ladybug speaks, an idea forming in her mind.

"Lure him to the Eifel Tower." she suggests, "Then we can fight them together."

"You got it, LB." And with that he hangs up.

 Ladybug places her yo-yo on her hip and calls out to the akuma, "Hey, there! Need any help?"

 The akuma turns around and lays her eyes on Ladybug. For a brief moment, the outline of a purple butterfly seems to appear on her face before vanishing as quickly as it had appeared.

 "I am NightMary, and you will give me your miraculous!" she shouts, before flying towards Ladybug.

 Using this to her advantage, Ladybug proceeds to lead her to the Eifel Tower.

Chat Noir ends the call and extends his staff, using it to vault onto the road, maintaining a good distance between him and the 'akuma'. He leisurely leans against his staff, facing the akuma that casually keeps walking towards him.

"So what type of akuma are you? Did Hawkmoth pick you up after your golden viking exhibit failed?" he teases.

"I'm Loki, and you are annoying." Loki says, before lifting his staff and pointing it at Chat Noir.

   He expertly dodges the blue light that expels from it and begins to lead Loki to the Eifel Tower. 

"Catch me if you can!" he calls over his shoulder.

Ladybug and Chat Noir both arrive at the Eifel Tower. The 'akumas' following them, both heroes turn to each other.

"Why are there two akumas?" Chat Noir asks, panic written on his face.

"I don't know. My kwami said that Hawkmoth can only create one akuma at a time." Ladybug says, confusion written on her face.

"So, what, is one of them a fake?" Chat asks.

"Must be. Look I'm pretty sure NightMary is the akuma. We have to destroy her bracelet, I didn't notice it before. We can deal with the fake later." she rushes.

 After having said that, both NightMary and Loki arrive onto the scene.

 Not having further elaborated on her plan, Ladybug calls out, "Lucky Charm!" and throws her yo-yo into the air. From a flash of bright light, an identical bracelet to NightMary's falls into her hands. Puzzlement is evident on Ladybug's face, but is quickly masked by confidence.

"Hey, NightMary!" she calls, holding up the bracelet, "Missing something?"

 With an angered cry NightMary lunges at Ladybug, while Chat Noir goes over to distract Loki, efficiently dodging every one of his blows. Ladybug waits until NightMary is close enough, grabs her arm and yanks off the bracelet. Throwing it to the ground, she crushes it with her foot, freeing the akuma in the process. As the now normal girl falls to the ground, Ladybug catches the butterfly in her yo-yo shouting, "I'm freeing you from evil!" 

Opening up the yo-yo, she allows the now clean butterfly to escape, with a whisper of, "Bye bye, little butterfly."

 The young girl, who now looks to be seventeen years old, runs away to the nearest building. Before Ladybug can perform the 'miraculous cure', she hears Chat cry out, "Ladybug, watch out!"

Chat has used his cataclysm to destroy Loki's staff, but before it disintegrates a green light expels from it, hitting Ladybug. As Loki vanishes, Ladybug is lifted to half the height of the Eifel Tower before plummeting back towards the ground.

As Chat Noir watches in horror, and the light having paralysed her, Ladybug continues to fall towards the inevitable when something miraculous happens. Spider-Man swings in, catching Ladybug in his arms before she hits the ground.

"Ladybug!" shouts Chat Noir, climbing over the rumble to get to where she lays in Spider-Man's arms.

 When he reaches her side he's shaking, overcome with fear. She isn't moving.

"She's breathing, just paralysed. I think it's starting to wear off; she's going to be okay." Spider-Man informs him, in a soothing voice.

Chat Noir looks at her in relief before realising that if Spider-Man hadn't been there then, she might be dead. He looks at Spider-Man, and with full sincerity says, "Thank you."

 Their quiet moment is interrupted by the shrill beeping of his miraculous. He was now down to four minutes. And that means that Ladybug is down to two - and she still hasn't used the miraculous cure.

They watch her shift slightly in Spider-Man's arms, but she remains unconscious. Finding no other choice with his fast thinking and using his newfound trust, Chat says, "I'm about to detransform, I have to go. Can you take Ladybug somewhere safe so that no one sees her detransformed? And make sure that she transforms again to do the whole 'miraculous ladybug' thing? You'd have about two minutes."

"Yeah. Yeah, of course." Spider-Man nods, watching as Chat Noir throws him an appreciative smile as the leather clad hero vaults away. 

  Looking down at the girl in his arms he smiles; their plan worked! He uses his webs to swing them away, bring them to an abandon building close by. He crawls in through the window of the apartments, setting Ladybug down on the bed.

The shrill beeping sounds again and Ladybug starts to stir. After closing the window Spider-Man walks over to her, kneeling beside her.

"Spider-Man?" she says drowsily, turning her head to look at him, "What happened?"

"You were hit. Chat told me to bring you here-"

"Turn around!" she orders.

 Startled, he does as he's told. As he is facing the other wall, he sees the room light up pink before returning to normal.

Listening, he can continue to hear the sharp breathing of Ladybug. 

"Tikki, why does it hurt so much?" he hears Ladybug's strained whisper, too much so to be recognised.

"The power that hit you was not of the miraculous or of the ordinary. I have never felt anything like it! It will lessen, you just need to rest for a while." he hears a high pitched voice say.

Deciding that the best time to ask about this would be later, he states, "Chat told me that you still have to use the miraculous cure."

After a brief pause, assuming her to be thinking, Ladybug rasps, "Do you have any cookies?"

"Cookies?" Spider-Man repeats, completely puzzled, fighting the urge to turn around to check if she is being serious, "No. Why would you need cookies? ... It doesn't matter. I have a chocolate bar?"

 Standing there, utterly confused as to why, when she was feeling so much pain, would Ladybug want cookies. A red and black, bug-like creature zooms in front of him, startling him backwards as it peers at him with big, blue eyes. 

"Can I have the chocolate bar?" the source of the other voice says.

Taking the chocolate bar out from an unnoticeable pocket in his suit, he hands it to the creature, staring in amazement as it gobble down the treat. 

Just as it finishes, he hears Ladybug say, "Tikki, spots on!" causing the creature to whizz behind him.

And with another flash of pink filling the room he hears Ladybug attempt to stand up. Assuming her to be transformed, Spider-Man turns back around. He helps her to stand and then eases an arm on hers and her waist, until she seems steady enough.

 Ladybug walks to the middle of the room, taking the bracelet and throwing it in the air as she shouts, "Miraculous Ladybug!"
