It was the next day. Ganju and Ichigo got into a clash outside but Ganju for some reason had to leave early, telling Ichigo that they would "Continue the fight tomorrow". Y/n felt as is he had some sort of connection towards Ganju as he kept on thinking about that person. Kukaku Shiba

Y/n was practicing using his arrows to make sure that his precision was perfect but he kept on coughing and losing focus on his practice

I can't really tell many people about that...I don't really want to worry anyone at all

Y/n got rid off his spiritual weapon as he continues to cough out more blood

Y/n: I feel as if my body is continuing to fight against this thing that I have no clue about..but whatever it is...it's not good

My spiritual energy continues to fluctuate over time I've noticed a lot more..

Y/n looks up to the sky before then wiping the blood away

Y/n: Oh yeah, are we not going to be leaving soon to go to the Kukaku person. Let me go see where they are

Y/n uses his speed and flash steps over to the house where the elder was only to find the group there with Ichigo on the floor

Y/n: Did he try to do something?

Ishida: He didn't want to leave because the fool wanted to stay and fight that person

Ichigo: Shut...up...

Orihime: So Mr. Yoruichi just slashed him!

Y/n chuckles as he brings his glasses up a bit more

Y/n: So are we ready to go Yoruichi.

Yoruichi looks at Y/n and gives a nod

Yoruichi: You didn't forget why you came here in the first place huh? Ichigo.

Ichigo gets up as he remembers that he was here to get Rukia. Not to fight the 'self proclaimed number one soul reaper hater'

Ichigo: Yeah...you are right.

They begin to head out with Yoruichi leading the way towards the house

Ichigo: Are you sure this is the right way?

Ishida: According to what the elder has put on the map then that must be the place!

Yoruichi continues to walk forward as the rest of the five just continue to follow him until they make it...and it wasn't what they expected

Ichigo: W-what?

Ishida: W-what is this?

Orihime: Wow! How neat!

Y/n: Seems a bit cliche.

On the banner it said Kukaku Shiba.

Why would you want to put a massive banner there?

Yoruichi: This time they put human hands, that's a nice touch. Let's go

They all start to walk towards the house as Y/n grips his hand

This could help me out a bit and help me learn about myself

Suddenly, two voices could be heard

??: Hold it!! Who goes there!

??: It seems there is one soul reaper in there also!

They both jump down to look at the group

Koganehiko: I Koganehiko

Shiroganehiko: And Shiroganehiko

Koganehiko & Shiroganehiko: Will not let you pass!!

Koganehiko: Get lost!

Shiroganehiko: Or you will die right here

Ichigo: The soul society really is a pain huh!

They both look to see Yoruichi on Y/n's shoulder as they freak out

Koganehiko & Shiroganehiko: Master Yoruichi!!?

Koganehiko then leads the group down the downwards stairs as he then opens the door to see a woman sitting there

??: Hey, It's been a while, Yoruichi

Ichigo and everyone else was absolutely shocked as they had no clue that Kukaku was a women

Kukaku: Eh? Who are those kids

Kukaku was looking at them but her eyes were kind of fixated on Y/n as if there is a memory there.

Yoruichi: Actually Kukaku, I have a favour to ask from you...

Kukaku: Is it difficult?

Yoruichi: Most likely

Kukaku smiles

Kukaku: Do tell then

Yoruichi tells Kukaku about it while she was smoking on her pipe

Kukaku: I'll help you guys out. If Urahara is involved then it definitely must be something. But I don't really trust those kids so I'll have someone to keep an eye on them

Y/n: Someone?

Kukaku: He is my kid brother, and isn't really useful.

Kukaku opens the door as they were shocked to see Ganju there

Y/n: Him from before...

Ganju & Ichigo: EHHH!?

Ganju was shocked to see Y/n and Ichigo both there as they two just go into a massive brawl fighting each other over and over again.

Y/n: Why do you two have to be so difficult.

Y/n moves at high speeds as they had literally just broken Kukaku's pipe as Y/n kicks the both of them

Kukaku was absolutely shocked by the speed of Y/n.

Y/n: You guys always have to fight.

Kukaku: You guys should all follow me

They all follow Kukaku as Kukaku and Yoruichi were up ahead

Yoruichi: So I see you have been able to see Y/n's speed

Kukaku smiles

Kukaku: He is a student of you isn't he?

Yoruichi nods

Yoruichi: The most potential out of the ones I trained. I guess that's what happens if you are a Shiba.

Kukaku looked at Yoruichi with wide eyes

Yoruichi: Oh yeah...I forget to mention that. His name is Y/n. Y/n Shiba.

Kukaku: I see...

They eventually make it to an area where Ganju opens the door for there to be a massive cannon there

Kukaku: The plan is to shoot you guys out of this! My name is Kukaku Shiba, I am the #1 fireworks expert of the Rukon District!

Ichigo: Eh?

The floor starts to raise as the cannon makes its way up to the surface

Ishida: How are we supposed to get shout by that! You must be-

Kukaku throws a spirit ball right at Ichigo but it hits Ishida

Kukaku: All you have to do is place your palms on it and focus your spiritual energy

Ichigo: How do you focus your spiritual energy.

Kukaku: Ganju. Show him how it's done.

Ganju creates a ball around him as Kukaku starts to explain the barrier and how you would been a barrier to break into the sereitei.

Kukaku: Is the under ground room to practice

They get taken downstairs to practice more on their spiritual energy

Ganju: Should we really be helping soul reapers..one even looks like big bro-

Kukaku: Ganju! We don't have to talk about this! Just help them out

Ganju goes to help them out as they all try to make the ball that Ganju made but Ichigo is struggling quite a lot to create the ball.

One by one, Orihime was able to do it, Ishida was able to do it, Chad was able to do it as well and even Y/n was able to do it but his one was very, very cracked

Koganehiko: How is your one cracked when the others isnt!?

Y/n: I don't have a clue.

Shiroganehiko: It looks like it can break any second!

Ganju taps it as Y/n's ball just breaks.

Ganju: Wow. It really is true that you could just break it.

Y/n: I'm going to get some fresh air.

Y/n walks outside as he just sits down and looks up to the sky. He coughed a bit as blood come out yet again.

Kukaku: Having some trouble?

Y/n looks to see Kukaku standing there as she walks towards him. He quickly hides the blood

Y/n: My ball keeps cracking, and I don't know how it can stay together

Kukaku: Or maybe it isn't the ball...

Y/n begins to think about what happened that time against Renji.

Y/n: No...I just feel as if I'm just fighting myself.

Y/n felt as if he could speak up when talking to Kukaku

Kukaku: You are fighting your own soul, it's not something you can just brute force your way through kid.

Y/n: But I keep failing all the time

Kukaku looks at Y/n

Kukaku: You remind me of someone

Y/n: Who?

Kukaku sighs

Kukaku: My brother. He was almost a bit like yourself

Y/n: Really?

Kukaku: He always said that you have to find your own strength, your own way to fight. No one can do it for you. But he also said it's okay to rely on others, to lean on them when you need to.

Y/n looked down to the ground.

Y/n: I'll get stronger. Not just for me, but for the people I care about. For Rukia, for Ichigo... and for my own sake.

She smiles

Kukaku: Good. Now get your ass up and stop moping, you have a lot of work to do

Y/n smiles as he feels like he knows what he needs to do. Suddenly, a burst of spiritual pressure come from out of nowhere

Y/n: That's Ichigo's...

Y/n flash steps down to see Ichigo's ball to be absolutely massive

Y/n: Ichigo.

Y/n runs towards Ichigo hoping to save him but Kukaku helps him

Ichigo: I did it!

Ichigo loses focus causing the ball to explode

Timeskip brought by Y/n learning how to do the ball as well and succeeding

It was time to leave Kukaku's house as they were all ready to depart to enter the Seireitei

Ganju appears in a new fit as he looks at both Y/n and Ichigo

Ganju: Our brother was killed by a soul reaper!

Y/n: Kukaku told me a bit about that.....

Ganju: She didn't tell you everything. He was betrayed by his own soul reaper buddies! One of them was a woman

Y/n was a bit shocked as he continued to listen

Ganju: My brother never blamed the soul reapers..he never hated them

Ganju points at Y/n

Ganju: I can feel it in you, you know...your soul reaper ability.

Y/n was shocked

Y/n: Me? Im a Quincy, it can't be possible

Ganju: You are a Shiba after all! You must be...the son of my older brother!

Y/n: I don't think so...but your older brother was a lovely man. Glad you could join us Ganju

Ganju smiles

Kukaku creates a hole in the cannon as they all get in

Y/n: Thank you...

Kukaku: Good luck. Y/n Shiba.

Yoruichi gives a pep talk before they start to go flying off as Kukaku makes the preparations for them to fly off as they go flying

They continue to go flying as Ganju starts to do the incantation for the ball

Ganju begins to say the Incantation but Ichigo has to keep on adjusting his spiritual energy because it is either too little or too much but they keep on arguing causing Ganju to be pissed causing them to argue and for them to crash right into the Seireitei

Y/n: Oh no....

The ball just disappears as a massive vortex insues with them all starting to get seperated. Y/n and Ichigo stay close to each other as Ganju grabs onto Ichigo

Y/n: You two! We are going to die!

The three of them hold onto each other as Chad goes flying

Ichigo: Chad!!

They all then get separated in different directions

Ichigo, Ganju and Y/n all go flying down into one area but Ganju stops their fall with some sand

Y/n: Thank you for that Ganju, I appreciate it

Ichigo: Are you going to keep coughing or what!

Ganju: Hey! No need to be rude to the person that saved your life!

Ichigo: Eh!? I only said we were save-

Y/n and Ichigo feel some energy

??: Woohoo! How lucky for us

The two jump down to look at Y/n, Ganju and Ichigo

??: It seems you guys fell right into our hands. You guys are unlucky.

Ichigo: Eh?
