First, move your eyes absentmindedly (or absent-mindedly? CMIIW) to another way.......trust me, you better move you head as well. Slow eyelid? BEST WAY TO GET AWAY FROM THE AWKWARD MOMENT! 

Too slow? Deffo yes in case you're in slow motion scene film :p
