ANYWAYS, despite my absence from writing here I do have several parts planned...problem is I don't have the motivation to finish them. Oh writer's block how I hate you so. But! Since Season 9 started, I decided to do a little short on my top 10 expectations for season 9, before the hype of the first episode begins. Am I going to watch it?

Duh.

Am I going to review it?

Well....yeah.

I did pretty much all of Season 8 so why not season 9? I WILL be writing down my opinions of the episodes whenever I can (whether you like it or not) but I haven't decided whether or not to keep it a separate part or not but I'll be sure to review it at some stage and naturally I'll let you know. ;) Anyways, now that's all sorted, on with the list!! :D This isn't in any order of importance like it normally is, all of it is just stuff I want to see. Or is it? ;) It could be in order or it could NOT who knows? Gettit? Lol.

Top 10 things I (hope) will happen in Season 9

10. Possible new companion

Yes, I know, I know. I've mentioned this before so I decided to put this at number 10 to save you guys some reading. I already know that some of you guys are fans of Clara but...sorry, I'm not. If you didn't already know. She didn't click with me as well as some of the other companions I've previously mentioned, maybe it was the plotline in general, maybe it's because she's been on for too long and I've gotten sick of her but..dunno. For me she's not as good. Some people are speculating Maisie Williams might be the new companion but I don't know, she's meant to only be in two episodes so who knows.

9. Cameos!

Come on! You all want to see it! Captain Jack meeting Clara, Gwen fighting the Doctor with a spoon...OK OK that's a little too far. But come on! I really wanna see some old characters come back! Don't you? Well...A little birdie told me River Song is coming back! Which I can't wait, but I still miss Gwen and Jack. Maybe even a few previous Doctors coming back, there's a hint at David Tennant 'the Fan Favourite' coming back in an episode but it's just a rumour. It still would be awesome.

8. Utter Randomness!

Simple, utter craziness which just makes sense. You all know it. Throwing a fez into a portal to see if it goes two ways, marrying Queen Elizabeth, ALMOST marrying Marilyn Monroe, becoming the President of the Earth without realising it just after you called it stupid, incinerating people on a whim, catching a shark with a fish and half a screwdriver, speaking Horse or baby or Judoon, becoming sherlock holmes or even a Sheriff, the list is endless! And that's what makes it great.

7. New aliens

As much as I love (most) of the old aliens (see previous part for references) I want a few new ones to excite me more than the Guilt Maker (also known as the Brain Melter) I don't know it's real name but if you've seen the bank/prisoner episode you'll know what I'm talking about. Anyways, it would be good to have some really memorable aliens/villains which replace some of the less known ones, or even collaborate with the older versions.

6. Old Aliens coming back

We all know the Darleks and Cybermen are at least in the running to come back, there the two most well known aliens in the series, but I want to see more of the Slitheen, they haven't been done since Tennant's time and maybe even collaborating with it's cousins the Blathereen who people BARELY KNOW ABOUT! Unless you've seen SJA. Like me. It was a good, well thought out episode. Even the Frost Giants (I think that's what they're called) in that submarine/ship episode or the Silence or Weeping Angels would be good. A collaboration would be terrifying, I wouldn't last five minutes. OK, maybe 10 but you know what I mean.

5. UNIT

UNIT used to be badass and you know it. Gone were the awesome guns Mickey and Jack had or the awesome international base thingy, replaced with computer nerds who don't do much and a castle. A freaking castle. OK, I admit, castles are cool but isn't UNIT meant to be secret? Gone were the days they could actually do something without the Doctor, now they need him no matter what and can use a bloody helicopter in freaking London to capture the TARDIS just like that! Ever thought of NOT capturing him in broad daylight in front of an unassuming crowd? Yeah, UNIT needs to get its act together and fast.

4. Wibbly, Wobbly, Timely, Wimey Stuff!

From the old vortex manipulating space hopper thing to the thing that dings when there's stuff, time travel is what makes Doctor the Doctor. The TARDIS is great and it knows it, but I want to hear about other methods of time travel, what is and isn't a fixed point in time and the difference between the two (seriously, the amount of times 'fixed point' plotlines have changed is crazy) and why the hell does River's timeline go backwards to the Doctor's? And why is the the Impossible Girl still here living her own life when she should be everywhere? Never understood that. God damn it guys, sort your plotlines out before you make new one's.

3. New Weapons/Gadgets

Something as small and memorable as the sonic screwdriver to something as large and devastating like the Reality Bomb which can move planets and disintegrate the human race. Literally. I miss all the gadgets and bulky weapons people used to use to destroy the Darleks or whatever they where dealing with. Yes, I know, using the power of your mind is great and all but I MISS THE WEAPONS and MASSIVE explosions and teleporters and bombs and flamethrowers and ....you get the idea.

2. More Missy

If you haven't seen the finale of season 8...GO WATCH IT! IT'S AWESOME! I won't spoil anything for you (much) but she's a really great character and actress. I love her, the things she does and says are so memorable and so funny and so random sometimes that she's already in my favourites list. It's clever and all but I want to know more back story on her, I can wait a little while but I need something small revealed, at least in this season. The shock of her character is so great, so unexpected, so Scottish (as she puts it) that it's suits the current Doctor's quips perfectly in my opinion, they just bounce off each other and she's so fun to watch even after only three or four full episodes of her. But I'll need more soon. I always need more.

1. Solving the Gallifrey Plotline!!

Yes! It's the BIG ONE! The number one thing that has to at least be touched on a little is the stupid Gallifreyness of the 50th! They spent so LONG hyping the crap out of it that they haven't BOTHERED to tell us what the heck happened and why the hell they did what they did in the finale too! Yes, I understand they want to drag it out as long as possible, you know how much I'm unsure about the 50th plotline working in the first place (*cough* Impossible Girl Plot) it can't HAPPEN and then NOT HAPPEN! Oops. I've said too much, but ANYWAYS.....SORT IT MOFFAT! Help me understand what the HECK you guys are doing with my mind!
