It had been a week since you had left Sherlock behind in his apartment. You had stayed at a close friends house. You couldn't be in one room with him. You just were to mad at him.
As the days went by, Sherlock didn't send you a text or gave you a call. Slowly, you started to give up hope. You knew it was so useless since the day you two came together, but your feelings for him were to strong. He was brilliant, but an idiot. At least he was your idiot.
"Would you like some more tea?" a soft voice woke you up from a daydream. You were sitting in a big chair in front of a dusty window, just staring outside. It was quiet on the streets since the weather had been bad all day. Rain was still pouring down from the sky, making a pleasant sound.
Your best friend, Lauren, moved her hand in front of your eyes and tapped your head shortly.
"Hello?" she asked. "Anyone home?" you shortly smiled up at her.
"No thank you," you spoke. "I've had enough for today." Lauren moved away from you. She sat down on a chair next to you and looked out through the window.
"I really have to clean up," she laughed when she saw the dirty window. You just gave her a smile grin. These days, all happiness seemed to have left you. All you wanted was Sherlock to get back at you after the fight you had. You couldn't stop thinking about him. You missed him so much.
"Come on, Y/N," Lauren said. "Stop thinking about him. He hasn't spoken to you in over a week." You sighed deeply.
"I love him so much," you spoke desperately. "I can't just forget about him. I just wished he would get the clue for once in his life." You frowned in sadness and sat back in the chair. You couldn't take it anymore. It was killing you inside.
"You're absolutely insane, you know that?" Lauren asked. "Any sane person would've gone back to pick up their stuff and would've left this emotionless a-"
"That's enough!" you interrupted her. "He might have treated me wrong but there is no reason to call him names." Lauren rolled her eyes while getting up from her chair. She didn't say a word and disappeared into the other room.
You growled in frustration and got up. You picked up your phone and checked it, just like you did everyday. Still nothing. Maybe it was time to give up..
This thought brought tears to your eyes. This is how it would end? With you being hurt and him being colder then ever? It was just sad. So so sad.
Suddenly you heard a small beep. You got a text message. In a fast movement, you turned your phone over and looked at the screen. The display said:
1 new message:
Sherlock <3
You stared at your phone in confusion. Did he really text you? Were you daydreaming again?
You rubbed your eyes fermly and looked at your screen again. The message didn't change. Sherlock had send you a text. You couldn't believe it. After all this time he made up his mind?
Your hands were trembling as you brought the phone closer to your face. You you turned your screen on again and pressed the message.
From: Sherlock <3
To: Y/N
Meet me in front of 221B Bakerstreet tonight at 7pm.
- SH
You wanted to close the message, but again you got a small beep.
Please.

A small smile appeared on your face. He wanted to meet you again after a whole week of complete silence. You had a double feeling about it. You were excited to see him again, but you were also scared of what he was going to tell you. What if he ended up making in worse?
You took a deep breath. Your heart was racing from just a message. That was how much you loved this man. You had never been this in love. Even during a fight like this you couldn't set your feelings for him aside.
For a second, you doubted if you should reply to him. You didn't want to get hurt by him again. However, your love for him was to strong. Slowly you started writing a reply.
From: Y/N
To: Sherlock <3
I'll be there
- Y/N
You couldn't press back your smile. In three hours you would finally see him again. You were very excited but so nervous. You just had hope everything would be alright.

You stood in front off 221B Bakerstreet. Impatiently you hopped from one leg to the other. You were dressed up and had put up the collar of your coat. It was a cold evening. The night sky was bright. The moon and many stars had already appeared. With a view like this, you didn't mind waiting outside for a few minutes longer.
"Yes yes yes, John," Sherlock's annoyed voice got your attention. It came from behind the door. Your heart began to beat faster. He was coming.
"I've heard you say this over and over again today," he continued. "Just shut up and let me handle this."
The door suddenly swang open and Sherlock stepped outside. He was wearing his long black coat and scarf as usual. His black hair was messy, which made your heart skip a beat. You loved his messy hear.
Sherlock stood still for a moment in complete silence. His eyes were focused on you. You nervously tapped your leg.
"Y/N," he spoke. He took a few steps forward and looked at you in awe. A look he had never given you before. It made the butterflies in your stomach appear.
He was so close to you, that you could smell him and feel the warmth coming from his skin. You closed your eyes for a few seconds. God you had missed him.
"You look extraordinary," he said with a small smile. Your cheeks flushed red as you shyly looked away. It meant a lot coming from him. He wasn't the type of boyfriend to give you compliments often.
"You look pretty good yourself," you smiled as you looked into his eyes again. The sparkled with love. Something you had only seen a few times before.
"The taxi should be here any minute," Sherlock spoke as he turned away from you. You frowned in confusion. Taxi? He had something planned?
"Where are we going?" you asked curiously.
"You'll see," he said, while looking out on the road. You sighed shortly. This wasn't like him. He wouldn't take you anywhere, especially not at night. What was he upto?
A taxi pulled up in the side of the road. Sherlock smiled excitedly and walked towards it. You opened the door of the taxi and got in. Sherlock sat down next to you. Slowly the car started driving.
There was complete silence for the first few minutes. You were to nervous to start a conversation. Why were you like this? This week had completely shaken you up. It made you appreciate him even more.
You turned your gaze to Sherlock. He sat there peacefully, looking out of the window. His side profile was so sexy. It made you feel warm inside.
Suddenly, his eyes turned to you. You gave him a loving smile.
"How have you been?" Sherlock asked. "It has been a while."
"It has been ok," you answered shortly. "What about you?"
"I've been quite well aswell," Sherlock answered. "I've been busy."
"Like always.. " you mumbled, while turning your eyes away from him. You could feel Sherlocks confused gaze burn in the back off your head.
You couldn't help yourself. Anger was still growing inside of you. You couldn't let it go. Not yet.
"Of course," he answered. "We got closer to finding out abou-" suddenly he stopped talking. You looked at him in confusion.
"Finding out about what?" you asked.
"It's not important at this moment," Sherlock spoke slowly. "I'll tell you about it later." Your eyes got narrow as you turned your head away. What was wrong with him?
"Oh look, we're here." The taxi stopped in front of a large building. Sherlock got out and you followed him quickly. While Sherlock payed the driver, you looked at the building in front of you.
There was loud chatting coming from the building. Throught the big windows, you could see many people sitting behind wooden tables, clearly having a wonderful time. Candles were placed on each tabel and the entire room was decorated in early Christmas decorations. It looked so cosy.
You felt a soft hand on your shoulder. You looked up. Sherlock was looking down at you with a satisfied smile on his face.
"Ready to go in?" You nodded at him, before grabbing his hand firmly. At first, nothing seemed to happen. As always he wouldn't move his fingers and grab your hand back. He didn't like to hold hands. He thought it was restraining. "It's useless to hold your hand. What if I, right at that time, need it for far more important purposes?" he would say. Usually you would just let go.
This time it was different. After a few seconds, Sherlock folded his fingers arround your hand, making you look up in surprise. He was actually holding your hand properly for the first time ever. What was going on?
-
After putting away your coats, Sherlock had found a nice table close to the window.
"This is a pleasant surprise," you smiled, while looking at the menu. The restaurant was pretty fancy. All meals were quite expensive, but they all seemed so delicious.
"Well," Sherlock began. "After you walked away, I continued my days as usual." You stared blankly at him. Why did it not surprise you?
"But actually it only looked like I was continuing," he said. "The truth is that I need you by my side for some idiotic reason." You frowned. Idiotic reason, really?
"I mean," Sherlock said quickly. "When you're not next to me, I can't think straight. I couldn't continue my work because all I was thinking about is you. I was worried, because I didn't know where you were." Your cheeks shot red as you smiled brightly at him.
"John kept nagging me about making up with you," Sherlock continued. "It seemed like the only reasonable thing to do was to take you on an actual" date" like those couples do." You laughed softly.
"I never want to be apart of you again, since it really effects my work." he said. "So I would appreciate it if you never walked out on me again like that. It slows everything down a lot." You sighed softly. He was trying to be sweet. You could acknowledge it. He was trying. That was all that matters to you.
"Will you promise to spend more quality time with me?" You asked. Sherlock blinked a few times before answering.
"I will try," he mumbled. "When we have a free spot."
"and will you accept my signs affection?" Sherlock looked at you in confusion. You raised an eyebrow and shook your head.
"Things like this, Sherlock." You bowed over the table and grabbed Sherlock'S cheeks. His eyes widened at your Sudden movement. You pulled him closer to you and pressed your lips against his. Slowly, you closed your eyes as a warm feeling spread across your body. Time seemed to slow down. After a while, you pulled back. Sherlock gave you a shy smile.
"If that is what it takes, I will," he said. "because you're worth it."
