Future
| ~ FUTURE - 20 years later ~ |
"Mom, come soon or we will be late for classes." Payal Prinja, Mahi's daughter had grown to be a rebellious but a wonderful daughter.
She followed her mom's footsteps of chilling out and got her 18inches long hair chopped off to a bob cut whit green streaks that complemented her chocolate brown eyes.
Payal got her first tattoo of a butterfly near her ankle at the age of sixteen with her grandmother. Her first tattoo was not just an accessory, the butterfly signified about the strong wings she had which no-body cut touch or chop. She was going to fly high in life; nobody could stop her from it.
People at her school used to call her with names but she didn't step down with their name callings. She had her own way of dealing with the shit-fuckers but never dared to let her mom about it.
Though Mahi never got married, the spot of the fatherly figure in her life was filled with Dev and his companion of 5 years who were planning to get married soon and settle somewhere else where the laws couldn't prevent them from getting tied down.
Payal had two fathers and two grandparents, what more did she need? Her mom was always there for her but made sure that she didn't spoil her too much.
"Your mom is getting old dear; you can't expect me to run do you?"
"Kajal ma is faster than you when she sees freebies. Get some strength classes from her."
Kajal was old and fragile but even at the age of 76, no one could stop her from running at the speed of light when she spotted freebies or discount offers.
"That woman is always sitting in a rocking chair with munchkin cat but the minute she spots a sale add on TV or newspaper, her bones magically stop aching. You know, last week I was called by the local authority because a maid spotted Kajal ma walking away with free sanitary pads from the public toilet. She stopped getting her period's ages ago! I wonder why she never behaves like a mature adult."
Payal couldn't control the laugh that escaped from her mouth upon hearing Kajal's antics. She was not her real grandmother but she loved her very much.
"Whose turn it is to ride the bike today?"
Mahi had gifted her daughter a Royal Enfield bike on her eighteenth birthday but she drove it more than her.
"Just drive it ma, you don't have to fake pretend with me anymore." Mahi felt a bit embarrassed but she didn't waste another moment of their time as they were getting late for a very important function.
Payal hopped on behind her mother and wrapped a dupatta between them because her mother was a very dangerous rider and a threat to the public.
"Try not to break any signals or hit someone."
"Have I ever? Learn something from your momma; she only scares people...nothing less, nothing more."
Payal put on her Ray-Ban shades then screamed a 'GO' that pumped up her mother's adrenaline to a notch that sent them gliding through the streets like a Fast and Furious action scene.

"MAHI MA'AM! PAYAL! YOU MADE IT ON TIME."
Elizabeth, a 25-year-old adult with cherry red hair and purple colored eyes jumped onto Payal and Mahi not caring about the people who were openly gaping at the colorful women.
"I thought we would come fashionably late but oh well, maybe next time."
The moment Mahi stepped inside; she was greeted by loud noises and tiny size bodies that kept rolling on the ground like footballs.
"CHILDREN"
Every kid inside the play area stopped fussing around upon hearing Mahi's voice. A few minutes passed by and one by one the kids gave her a toothy grin while attacking at her with bear hugs.
Elizabeth tried to hold the little kids back but she was also pulled into the crowd with bear hugs and sloppy kisses.
"Do they actually love you or is it because it's your birthday mother...Oopsy, I mean Principal." Payal smirked at her mom while looking at the little ball of energy in the play room.
"Shhhh. Everyone loves me! Don't you love mama bear kids?"
"Treat!"
"TOFFEE"
"ICE-CREAM."
The kids screamed at her for goodies which made her fake-frown at them for loving her only to get sweets.
"Yes, we want...no, WE NEED FREE THINGS."
Kajal rolled around in her wheelchair with a polyethylene bag on her lap. She claimed that it was for all the extra leftovers that she could take it away.
"You don't even have any teeth left why would you..."
"I AM ELDER TO YOU SO LISTEN TO ME AND MEET MY DEMANDS"
The whole room was filled loud noises so Payal ran out of the room with Elizabeth to bring some treats for the little children.
Mahi loved having kids around her and she wanted to do something for them so she decided to get a degree to be qualified enough to open her own Play school for special little children. Doing so she was able to mother so many children as her own plus she was considered as a family member by almost all the parents of the children.
"Oh no. Are you alright miss? We thought the kids would behave but they went out of control."
The teachers began to fret upon noticing Mahi sprawled on the floor in an eagle position. One notorious kid had managed to crawl over her belly and demanded her to give a plane ride.
"Let them be, if kids don't be mischievous now then who would? Life sucks big time while growing up so let them have their little moments of joy."
Mahi's eyes were always filled up with glee whenever she was around her children. They were such innocent pure souls who had nothing to worry about in life other than growing up. She hoped that someday, each child would have a normal decent childhood and a better future but the shackles of society would not make it easy for them. She made sure to keep in touch with her older children who had left the playschool long back so as to have a strong bond with them.
"Mom, I want you to meet someone special. The guy I was talking to you about." Payal whispered into her mom's ears with an eager face. Mahi knew her daughter was seeing someone but didn't ask her anything about it. She wanted to see how long her daughter would keep it a secret from her but she came out sooner than expected.
"Do I know this person? Where did you both meet?"
"He is Elizabeth's older brother. I'm sure you would have heard of him."
Payal dragged her mom near the parking area where a handsome young lad was waiting for them.
"Nice to meet you Mom" He kissed on possible future Mother-in-laws hands
"Who sab chod, tu karta kya hai?" (Leave everything else, tell me what you do.)
The guy looked up at Payal, she patted at him to tell her mother the truth. Mahi analyzed him from head to toe, he didn't look like someone from the underworld or any kind of illegal business but she couldn't judge him to be perfect just because he looked like a perfect gentleman.
He could be an ex-criminal for all she knew or a...
"I am a certified sperm donor."
"Oh wow that's nice, excellent...WAIT WHAT?"
"I am a..."
"I heard you the first time young man."
20 years ago all Mahi wanted was a sperm, now her daughter followed her footsteps and got herself a full on sperm producer product.
She got a body along with sperm. Think of getting one but got something else for free.
"I sperm you...I mean I accept you both."
Little did Payal know that her mother was going to spy on her possible son-in-law at sperm banks to know if he actually has great rider boys before getting them her actual approval without letting them know about it.
She might be old and single but age was just a number that couldn't stop her from having her share of Shenanigans.
