harbouring sinful and negative thoughts everyday, yina finds herself to be a terrible human being who is, honestly, just trying her best to live through everyday. she likes to think that she has a big heart, but doubts herself more than half the time. gives in to persuasions by others easily, stands at crossroads nearly everyday, wakes up at 6am not knowing what to do in life.

also, she really really really loves green tea. she might just sell her soul for a matcha hokkaido ice cream.

two // is there any ritual you have before/during/after writing?

music, i guess. it sometimes distracts me, though, so i'd prefer just typing away in silence.

mystery + angst tbvh. i can't write fluff for shit ; i'm absolutely terrible at romance oops.

derek landy — he's the author of my favourite childhood series 'skulduggery pleasant' , i've lost track of how many times i've re-read all 9 books. still is, hands down, one of my fav stories hehe. even though it belongs in teen fiction, i love how it deals with themes that are much more mature and applicable even in adults' daily lives?

stephen king — wowowowowow ily steph. even if you gave me gory imagery descriptions that i'd probably remember even on the day i die, i still love you a lot. 

darren shan — i love you more than i love stephen and i think that says a lot.

seven // inspiration, time, or motivation?

how am i supposed to answer this.......... although all three are equally important when it comes to writing, i guess i would rule time out since i've never really been rushed for any of my works? most probably inspiration because my brain juice runs out pretty fast. i find motivation pretty easily too ; it comes to me after a break or something! most of the time, if i know what to write, i'll sit down and the words just come out naturally without really stopping. 

eight // why do you choose to write?

because i was way too impatient to wait for the next series of my fav. childhood stories to be released, so i decided to take matters into my own hands wtf. started fantasizing all sorts of crazy things, and gradually, compliments fuelled me on so here i am now!! mostly, i write because there's no other way i would want to share my thoughts by hahaha. 

nine // do you have plans to write anything other than fanfics?

honestly, yes. but not now because i don't think i'm worthy of doing that oops. i tend to compare myself w/ others a lot + my plots aren't fresh and definitely don't stand a chance in the 'outside' world. 

ten // what inspires you the most?

music!! 9 out of 10 stories of mine are started due to songs i've listened to haha. also, my daily happenings in life (:

death note | taehyung. it was completed in a rush, i would say. there wasn't much planning to it either, and i was simply publishing chapters as i went along, so i'm not really proud of it ): it has gained quite a lot of love though and i'm grateful for that! (if i had known this would happen, i would have spent more time on it smh hAHAHA)

anterograde tomorrow — okay this story has been circulating so goddamn much that i have no idea who the real author is. but putting all the crazy kaisoo obsession aside (i actually just ship them like bromance kind of shipping) the writing absolutely had me snatched and it has been a really long time since i found myself falling deep into a story. i did not cry, but my heart was wrenched in every way possible o k skdwqheuhwf

definitely not ahhh & it's a very bad habit tbh. most of the time, i publish the intro, then waits for the plot to float into my mind someday somehow. and this comes at an agonizing pace because it happens to every single chapter. explains a lot of my unpublished works.............. left to rot in my drafts............. never to see the light ever again....

nope. actually it depends on what story i'm writing, but most of the time nah not really.

do compositions from english classes count because if yes, then it's 7 years old? lmao. i officially started fanfictions when i was 12! then i had a legit 6-7 years hiatus from writing and now i'm back.

nineteen // why did you start writing?

i've always liked penning down vivid descriptions (just because i did relatively well in compo classes during primary school, i was secretly proud of myself what even) i enjoy it when readers understand the message behind my writing + when they feel the same way i did when i was writing. it just... gives a sense of pride, yknow.
