FANFIC EDITION: OVER DESCRIPTIVE MARY SUES

Most people commented fandoms and both but only one person gave me a specific topic.

This mainly pertains to female characters/ Mary Sues, especially in the x oc fanfics.

I guess this can be a rant and maybe some helpful tips. (People actually used my other books to help write their stories so I don't care if you all do)

Now in most fandoms, the Madonna hair dye ain't even a thing that exist.

No body is going to care if your skin is a certain color unless there are different races/ characteristics that has been explained in the book that actually has significance.

No one cares that you have perfect skin and Rapunzel hair that can slap a bitch.

Now most fanfics do not go into dept on their female oc. Some people just describe that basic shit like eyes, hair, maybe height and sometimes they skip over skin color, hair styles, weight and body figures and I thank y'all for that.

New fanfic writers- I can tell when a fanfic writer is fresh as hell and right out the damn fandom- tend to describe everything about the girl down to her breast, flawless hair, skinny figure and tight behind ass.

I delete fics from my history, I'm sorry, no.

I like women with meat on 'em 👌🏾

The writers put too much effort into over describing their characters but as soon as they need to describe a cannon character or an even that's happening it all goes to shit.

The mary sue is always fabulous- no matter what. She is the most beautiful out of all and it makes me cringe.

When I write fanfiction (I realized I don't have that many female fanfic characters- wow) they actually blend the hell in.

They look raggedy just like everyone else.

If a fight is going down they're gonna get some bruises and dirt as well.

I think most writers base the female off of females on tv and on tv most females look good.

Conclusion:

Don't over describe your main oc (especially if its female). Don't follow cliches (by making them perfect) either.

Do not have them looking flawless all the time.

*looks at commenter* did I address this right? I feel like my ADD got me carried away.

Y'all can go...
