The last one
Chapter Five

Saradonyx
"Okay, does everyone know their parts?" I asked, looking around the circle.
Law, Zara, Drew, Storm, and I were sitting in a park near the school, finalizing our plan.
We all agreed to miss the first period because we're too lazy to get here before school starts.
I know my mum's out of town for a few days, so I shouldn't have any problems with her.
"Drew! I told you to stop smoking! It could affect your singing," Zara told him and snatched the cigarette out of his hand.
Storm, Law, and I exchanged looks because we all knew how this was gonna turn out.
He doesn't like to be bossed around, especially by a girl.
"And how many times have I told you that I don't fucking care? Stop being my mum, for fuck's sake!" he answered her, lighting another cigarette.
"Don't fucking talk to me like that!" she warned him, raising her voice in anger.
"I'll do whatever the hell I want."
Zaraella shot him a death glare and looked at me. "Don't you care about your bandmates?"
"Okay, Zara, you need to chill," Lawrence finally interfered and took her hand into his.
It was so obvious that Lawrence is into Zara, but he never liked to talk about his emotions.
Well, it became obvious when Storm pointed it out to me.
"Do not touch me!" she yelled and yanked her hand out of his.
"Well, sorry for caring!" he fired back as they kept glaring at each other.
"Oh, find a room, you two," Drew said in annoyance. Zara turned around and as she was about to say something back to him, I stood up.
"Shut the fuck up, everyone!" I yelled as they looked at me in shock. When I got angry, everybody took it seriously because it meant they went over the limits.
And now was that situation.
We needed to focus.
"We have the biggest prank to pull off, so I'll ask again," I called out, calming myself. Storm smiled at me and took my hand into hers, intertwining our fingers. "Zara, your part?"
"I have Chem class for the third period. We are working with some chemicals so I'll accidentally burn something and cause a fire," she explained, emphasizing the word "accident".
I nodded. "Law and Drew?"
"We'll skip the third period and remove every fire extinguisher in school so they'll have to evacuate everybody and call the fire department," Drew continued, rolling his eyes in annoyance because we worked on this prank for two weeks.
If it wasn't for the revenge part, he wouldn't be able to stay focused on this for that long.
"And Storm and I will fill the gym with hundreds of snakes and spiders we have in our cars and hidden in the bushes," I smirked, looking down on her. "When we all get out of school, we'll call the Principal and tell him that someone's vandalizing the gym."
Zara clapped her hands. "He'll come in there and that'll be an accomplished prank."
You may wonder, why the fuck would you fill the gym with snakes and spiders?
Well, because our Headmaster, who we all hate and who hates all of us, is scared to death by them.
He gave us so many detentions, and most of them were unnecessary, that it was finally time to give him revenge.
"We'll get expelled," Storm pointed out as we walked towards the entrance of the school.
I put my arm around her neck and kissed the top of her head. "Don't worry, we've got that covered."
A confused look spread across her face. "How? You can't do shit if they decide to expel us."
"The most they'll do is suspend us, maybe not even that. Babe, believe me," I reassured her, giving her a peck on the lips.
When we finally reached the front of the school, we gathered in a circle again.
"Girl, good luck and don't get eaten by a snake," Zara advised Storm, kissing her on the cheek.
"C'mon. The most that'll happen in that gym will be Storm and Sar fucking," Drew remarked with a smirk, tossing me a condom.
"Fucking idiot," I mumbled, placing the condom in my back pocket.
What? Just in case.
"Be careful with the chemicals. Wear protection so that they don't damage your skin and eyes," Storm explained, hugging Zara.
"And you two, don't get caught running around school like idiots while stealing fire extinguishers," I told them with a laugh and they nodded in response.
We guys said our goodbyes by bumping fists and then I walked over to Storm.
"And whatever, and I mean whatever, happens, we're in this together. All right?" I reminded, giving all of them a look. "No snitching."
"Fuck yeah," Drew agreed and the rest nodded their heads.
"So, let's get going," Storm took my hand and led me towards the back doors of the school.
That's where we hid the snakes and spiders in cages and parked our cars. It's because that's the blind spot of the school, where students are usually smoking or doing drugs.
"One last thing," I smiled to Storm, leading her towards the wall so her back was against it.
I cupped her chin and looked into her eyes.
"I love you so fucking much," I confessed, giving her a passionate kiss. She leaned towards me, pressing her body against mine.
Her lips tasted like cherry and her hair smelled like vanilla, which she knew was my favorite.
I deepened the kiss, holding her face as she threw her hands around my neck and played with my hair.
Fuck.
I felt her smiling against my lips and then she pulled away, breathless. "Am I making you hard?"
She was so cute with that little smile.
And yes, I've got a boner.
"We have a condom," I pointed out, raising my eyebrows in question.
In answer to my suggestion, she grabbed the collar of my shirt and pulled me into a kiss while leading us into a small bathroom.
I locked the door, taking off my shirt as she took off hers. "I love you too," she replied breathlessly.
She was so damn beautiful.
I grabbed her waist, lifting her as I put her down on a sink. She wrapped her legs around me, sucking on my bottom lip.
A moan escaped my mouth and I could feel her smiling. This felt so good.
She felt so good.

"Everything's in place," I announced as we gathered around in a small circle, trying to avoid the students who were running and screaming in panic.
Gee, it's not like a giant alligator is about to eat us all.
"I saw him heading into the gym," Zara informed me, pointing her head towards the back door.
I nodded. Everything was in order. "You two weren't seen?"
"No, we were like ninjas," Law answered, waving his hands around in karate style.
"Okay, we need to act innocent and stall our punishment as much as possible," I reminded them and everyone nodded, knowing what that meant.
Well, everyone except Storm.
"Sar, what the hell are you up to?" she asked, crossing her arms.
"Okay, so we have the biggest-"
"Law, shut up," I interrupted him and he raised his hands in mock surrender.
Nothing personal, I just wanted to tell the plan to Storm.
"So, we found a person who went to this school about ten years ago, while our Principal was his too," I told the story and Storm listened to me carefully. "And he was just like us - delinquent, except he had a rich father who ran a company so he had his future insured. Long story short, he's a lawyer now, and a very powerful one. He agreed to help us for free because he hated the Principal as much as we do."
Storm was looking at me in shock, her mouth slightly opened. "You're brilliant."
She was so cute.
I hugged her, kissing the top of her head.
"That's why we have to stall. He texted me he's an hour and a half away. Who knows what'll happen 'til then."
"I have to give you credits, brother. That's nuts," Law complimented me, tapping my shoulder.
That was when we heard a male scream, which overpowered the previous ones.
We looked at each other, realizing what it meant.
Our prank worked.
The biggest prank in the history of pranks.
Every one of us laughed, running towards the gym.
Before you say anything, these creatures won't hurt him. They're trained.
We borrowed them from a friend.
Kind of.
I took Storm's hand into mine as we all ran, laughing our asses off.
"Oh. My. God." Zara gasped, who was the first one to reach the gym door.
"Holy fuck."
The principal was tied up by a snake while two other teachers tried to help him. He was freaking out and his face got completely red.
"You!" he yelled when he saw us. "You delinquents! Stop them!"
We all ran away as he kept calling out our names. I couldn't contain a laugh.
His face was priceless.
"That was so awesome!" Zara exclaimed as we camouflaged into the crowd.
"They'll never find us!" Law cheered as we all kept laughing. "Ninjas!"

"Unacceptable!" Principal yelled as the five of us sat in front of his desk.
"They found us," Drew sighed, tilting his head back in his chair so he was looking into the ceiling.
"You won't get away with this!" he yelled, pointing his finger towards every one of us.
I raised my hand, waiting for permission to talk.
As I said, innocence.
"Yes, Mr. Reyes?" he asked breathlessly.
His face was so red, it looked like a tomato.
I tried not to look at the others because I would've burst out laughing.
"We need to wait for our lawyer before you decide to wrongfully punish us," I demanded and his face went completely blank.
"You-Yours what?" he asked with raised eyebrows, leaning to me over the table.
"We won't say anything before our lawyer gets here and that should be..." I looked at the clock on the wall."...any minute now."
We stood in silence and waited for him to arrive. I hope this goes as planned.
"I'm bored," Drew huffed, leaning back in his chair. "I don't have this much fucking time."
"Language!"
He rolled his eyes and kept groaning.
That's when the doors opened. A tall man in his thirties walked in. He wore a black suit and sunglasses.
He looked badass.
"Hello, I'm Ethan Wage," he introduced himself, shaking hands with Principle. "I'm going to represent these five young kids and I'm going to prove their innocence."
"Wait, Ethan Wage?"
"The one and only," he confirmed, a smirk appearing on his face.
I heard Principal mumbling "Oh, dear God" and that type of nonsense, before he nodded his head, looking away.
"I'm very well informed about the situation that happened and what are you accusing them of," he continued as he read something from the yellow envelope.
"Miss Stone was in Chemistry class during the third period when the fire broke out. You have no witnesses of who did it, her or her partner. Students were evacuated from the school because there were no fire extinguishers present in the school territory."
"That was their act! They-"
"So, my clients, and many other parents I assume, will sue the school for endangering the students."
"Please, no. We don't have the money to afford that," Principal begged.
Bingo.
He was no longer in charge.
"Then, if you wouldn't like going to the court, these five students will be released of any charges."
"Yes, yes, of course," he agreed, removing our folders from his desk. "I'm sorry for keeping you here, you're free to go."
Victory.
This was what it tasted like.
We got up from our chairs and exited the office, Ethan following us.
"Thank you, E. That was awesome," I thanked him.
"No problem, it was my pleasure. I finally got to see him begging me for something. You guys are legends," he praised us.
He bumped fists with every one of us and left.
"Those fucking children think they can bring Ethan fucking Wage in here! Fucking delinquents!"
We all laughed as we walked out of the school. Every student was moving out of our way, looking at us like we were heroes.
Then someone started clapping. We turned around and a full hall of students was surrounding us.
They were all clapping and cheering for us.
I took Storm into my embrace and kissed her as she smiled against my lips.
Law, Drew and Zara were talking to anyone they could and telling how we pulled that off.
So I realized.
I was wrong earlier.
This is what victory feels like.
