Maxine

I went behind the counter of the ramen shop. Naruto sat down at one of the chairs and his parents did the same. "So why are ya workin here?" Naruto asked. "I need the money so that I can live and not starve to death..." I said. "Where are your parents?" "They're dead." Said I blankly. "Oh... Sorry... Is it fun working here?" He went on. "Yeah kind of. Do you want some ramen?" "Um... Na. I'm not hungry." "Okay."

After talking to Naruto, and working for 2 hours later...

"Welp... Time for me to go home." I said. "We'll walk with you if you want. It's fun talking to you.." Said Naruto. "O-Okay... If you want to I guess..." So that's what they did. I was almost to the door to my flat, when a group of drunk men went over there and sat on the steps. Naruto, and his parents left before they came. They were already like 2 minutes away. "Hey baby, wanna have some fun?" One of them asked pulling me to him. "Um, no thanks, but I would really appreciate it if you would get off of my steps so I may enter my home." I said. "Why don't you let us come in and we can make your night fun?" He pulled me closer to him. I pulled out a kunai, and stabbed his arm with it. He let me go and I ran. They chased after me. "HELP ME!!" I screamed.

Naruto

Me and my parents were walking home, when we heard a scream come from the direction of Maxine's home. "HELP ME!" Somebody screamed. I turned around to see Maxine running from some guys. My parents turned around too. She saw me and the look of relief on her face was so cute. "NARUTO! HELP!" She screamed. She then tripped and one of the guys picked her up. We ran towards her. She pulled out a kunai, but he grabbed it from her and held it to her neck. Dad and mom used a special jutsu, and I threw kunais at the guys. They disappeared. Maxine fell to the ground crying. I ran to comfort her. "I don't know what just happened, but I'll just pretend that I do... What happened?" I asked. My mom sat next to her. Dad crouched down. "Those guys.. Tried to kidnap me.... And as a reflex, I stabbed the one who kept grabbing me..." She said between sobs. "I'm so sorry you had to witness that, Maxine. I don't know what to say..." I said. "You should stay with us tonight Maxine, if it will make you feel better. I think you should,that way if they were to go back to your house, nothing would be able to happen to you. They'd give up and go home..." Mom offered. "Okay... Thank you.." She said. I rubbed her shoulders trying to sooth her.
