Lacey groans softly when she hears her phone beeping, rolling over to grab it, squinting at the bright light when she switches it on, checking the message from Scott.

Tracy and Lucas' bodies are gone.

She sits up when she sees the message with a frown. Someone was stealing the bodies. The blonde glances over at her door when it open to see Liam standing in the doorway. "Did Scott text you too?" He asks and Lacey nods.

"Why would someone be stealing the bodies of the chimeras?" Lacey asks and he shakes his head.

"I don't know." He responds.

Lacey hops as she pulls on her shoes whilst rushing towards the front door before grabbing her jacket from the hook beside the front door. "Bye, Mom!" Lacey calls as she opens the front door. She heads down to Stiles' Jeep, climbing into the back and he and Malia glances over at her.

"You're late." Malia says.

"I slept through my alarm." Lacey responds as Stiles starts the Jeep.

"Scott called you too?" He asks.

"Messaged me. And Liam. He came in to talk to me." Lacey responds.

"I read the book from Tracy's room." Malia says.

"What was it about?" Lacey asks.

"Don't know. Didn't understand any of it." Malia responds

"What the language?" Lacey asks.

"No, just the book." Malia responds.

"She's gonna go talk to Lydia about it." Stiles chimes in.

"Just you?" She asks, looking at Malia.

"Yeah, Stiles is gonna look into the author." Malia explains.

"I was thinking the author's name might be a pen name." Stiles says." Stiles adds.

"Oh, that makes sense. I mean, it's a weird book." Lacey says.

"But I'm gonna try looking into the author anyway just to see if I can find something. Another book maybe. Information." Stiles says.

"Either of you want help?" The blonde offers.

"You can go with Malia. I've got the research side covered." Stiles offers.

"You sure?" Lacey asks.

"Yeah." He responds and Lacey frowns at Malia briefly but the were-coyote just shakes her head a little when Stiles wasn't looking. She didn't know why he was acting weird either.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

When they get to school, Stiles splits up from them with a brief goodbye and the two girls just stand there for a minute. "He's definitely acting weird, right?" Malia asks.

"Yeah, one hundred percent." Lacey responds. "Did something happen last night?" She asks.

"Not that he's told me about." Malia says and Lacey frowns a little. "Are you okay?" Malia asks.

"Me? Yeah, why?" Lacey asks.

"He's not the only one who's acting weird. You never sleep through your alarm." Malia says.

"I'm fine." Lacey responds.

"You're not a very good liar." The were-coyote says as they start walking to look for Lydia.

"I just didn't sleep very well last night." Lacey responds.

"You're still having nightmares?" She asks and Lacey nods. "Are you still seeing things?" Lacey hesitates, thinking back to the night before when she'd seen her eyes glowing silver. "Lace?" Malia asks.

"I don't know." Lacey responds.

"You don't know what?" Malia questions.

"If I'm seeing things. I thought I might have but I'm not sure. It was so brief, I'm still not sure I saw it." Lacey says.

"Saw what?" Malia asks and Lacey shakes her head a little as she walks. "Lacey," Malia says, grabbing her hand to stop her, pulling her hand away quickly.

"What?" Lacey asks, turning to look at the were-coyote.

"Lace, you're really warm." Malia says.

"What are you talking about? I feel fine." Lacey says.

"You feel like you're burning up." Malia argues and Lacey frowns.

"Mal, I feel fine." Lacey says.

"What did you see last night?" She asks and Lacey sighs.

"I thought I saw my eyes glow silver." Lacey says.

"Silver?" Malia asks.

"Yeah. And yes, that sounds like a sign I might be something but I have read the Bestiary cover to cover and I haven't seen anything about a creature with silver eyes." Lacey says.

"Maybe the Bestiary is wrong." Malia suggests.

"Maybe I'm just losing the plot." Lacey suggests, glancing past her briefly. "Lydia's over there. We can talk about this later." Lacey says, walking past the brunette and towards Lydia.

Malia hesitates slightly before following her over to Lydia. "Is that the book from Tracy's?" Lydia asks and Malia holds it out towards her. "The Dread Doctors by T.R. McCammon." She reads as they walk into the building.

"What?" Malia asks when Lydia stops, tilting her head at it.

"I don't know. There's something about it." Lydia says as she starts walking again.

"It's creepy is the word you're looking for." Lacey chimes in.

"Has anyone actually read it yet?" Lydia asks.

"Just me. And I didn't understand any of it." Malia responds.

"We should probably all read it." Lydia suggests.

"Kira's working on that." Malia responds and Lacey checks her phone when it buzzes, showing Malia the message from Stiles. "Okay, Stiles can't find anything on the author. He thinks it's a pen name." Malia explains as they reach her locker and Lydia flips the book over to read the blurb.

"In a small New England town, teenagers are taken in the night and buried alive. Days later they emerge transformed, wreaking havoc and spreading terror, commanded by an ancient order of parascientists known only as the Dread Doctors." Lydia reads.

"Like I said, creepy." Lacey remarks again.

"Sounds vaguely familiar. How does it end?" Lydia asks.

"It doesn't. This is supposed to be volume one." Malia says.

"Oh, let me guess. There is no volume two?" Lydia asks.

"I think we're living volume two." Malia argues and Lacey shifts slightly.

"Then maybe the real question is, is this a novel or someone's prediction?" Lydia asks.

"I really wish that wasn't a question." Lacey says with a sigh.

"What's wrong with you? You seem all antsy." Lydia says.

"She didn't get much sleep last night." Malia says.

"Were you together?" Lydia asks and Lacey frowns.

"No, I was home. I had a nightmare." Lacey responds.

"Oh. Okay." Lydia says.

"Why?" Lacey asks.

"Why what?" Lydia asks.

"Why did you ask me that?" Lacey asks.

"No reason." Lydia responds.

"No reason?" Lacey asks.

"No." Lydia says and the blonde narrows her eyes at her but the banshee just shrugs. "We should probably get to class. We're gonna be late." She says before walking down the hall.

"Why is everyone acting weird?" Malia asks before following her and Lacey sighs, rubbing her face before moving to catch up with them.

She stops in the hallway when she heard a clicking noise, glancing around the hall. "Lacey?" She hums, turning around when she hears her name to see Malia and Lydia staring at her. "Are you okay?" Malia asks.

"I'm fine. I'm just gonna go to the bathroom. I'll meet you in class." Lacey says.

"You sure?" Lydia asks and the blonde nods.

"Yeah, I'll be five minutes." She says and they nod before Lydia steers Malia down the hall towards their classroom as Lacey heads to the bathroom.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

Lacey grabs the counter in the bathroom, reaching up to press the heel of her palm into her chest as she exhales slowly. She looks up into the mirror when she hears the clicking noise again before moving to open the cubicle door, sighing when she realises the bathroom was empty.

She shakes her head a little before pushing open the bathroom door, walking straight into someone. "Woah, Lacey, are you okay?" The blonde looks up at Theo at the question.

"I'm fine." She says, clenching her jaw.

"What is your problem with me?" He asks.

"Listen, I don't care how many times you insist you haven't done anything to me because I don't believe you. I saw you, I know I did." Lacey says.

"Saw me doing what?" He asks and she just clenches her jaw. "Look," He says, moving to rest a hand on her arm but she catches it, slamming him into the lockers.

"Woah, hey, Lace." Stiles says, rushing over to them and pulling the girl away from Theo.

"Stay away from me." Lacey snaps before Stiles steers her down the hall.

"What was that about?" Stiles asks once they're outside the building.

"Nothing. It doesn't matter. I'm late for trig." Lacey says but Stiles grabs her shoulders, steering her back in front of him when she goes to walk back inside.

"Lacey," Stiles says. "Look, I'm going home to do some more research and you don't look too good. Maybe you should come with me." He says.

"No. I said I'm fine." Lacey says and he grabs her wrist to stop her, frowning.

"Lacey, you're really warm." He says.

"I'm fine. Seriously. Just leave me alone." The blonde says.

"Lacey, you can take one day off. Come give me a hand looking into the book. Because I know you have English with Theo later and if you happen to repeat that in the middle of class, you're gonna get suspended." He says and she sighs before nodding.

"Okay." She says.

"Okay. Come on." He says before leading her over to the Jeep as she grabs her phone. "What are you doing?" He asks.

"Messaging Malia. I told her and Lydia I'd only be five minutes." Lacey says as she climbs into the passenger seat.

"Okay, so do you want to talk about why you attacked Theo in there? Or why you're kind of acting weird?" Stiles asks as he starts the Jeep.

"Well, that depends. Do you want to talk about why you're acting weird?" Lacey asks.

"What? I'm not acting weird." Stiles argues.

"Then neither am I." The blonde responds and he frowns a little. "You're definitely acting weird. Both me and Malia think so. And you're not the one who's possibly going to grow a tail so I think you kind of have less reason to act weird than I do." Lacey says.

"Do you feel ill?" He asks.

"Oh, now we're avoiding questions." Lacey remarks dryly. "But no, why?"

"Just- You really do feel like you're burning up and if you are because you're ill, it'd probably rule out you being a chimera or whatever. Since I assume they have the same healing abilities as a supernatural creature." Stiles says.

"Oh, right. But no. I feel fine, like I said. I don't feel warm." Lacey says and he hums.

"Hey, so, if you don't have to go home later, Malia and I wanted to talk to you about something. If you wouldn't mind crashing at mine." He says.

"Talk about what?" Lacey asks and he glances at her. "Come on, seriously? You're not even going to tell me what it's about without Malia here?" Lacey asks.

"Kind of defeats the point of all of us talking." Stiles responds and she rolls her eyes. "Can you stay?" He asks.

"Sure. I'll just have to message my Mom." Lacey says. "She went all 'why do we pay your phone bills if you can't text us when you're out late' on me and Liam the other night."

"When was that?" Stiles asks.

"When Tracy attacked the Sheriff's Station and Li was in the woods with Brett and Mason." Lacey responds.

"Why don't you just tell your parents?" Stiles asks after a moment.

"Tell them what?" Lacey asks.

"About all of this. The supernatural." Stiles says.

"My Mom wouldn't believe us." Lacey says.

"How can you be so sure?" Stiles asks.

"Because my Mom doesn't even believe in ghosts. She is not going to believe her son is a werewolf, her daughter is whatever the hell I apparently am or that all our friends are something supernatural. You wouldn't be seeing of us ever again. She'd move to a different state." Lacey says.

"You cannot be serious." Stiles says.

"Remind me to reintroduce you to my mother." The blonde says. "Why, how did your Dad react?" Lacey asks.

"Well, he found out when he was kidnapped by a Dark Druid, so, he didn't really have much choice other than to accept it as fact." Stiles says and Lacey nods.

"Still don't think that would convince my Mom." Lacey remarks.

"Scott's Mom didn't talk to him for ages after she saw him shifted for the first time." Stiles says.

"Why would you tell me that? What if I tell my Mom and she just refuses to talk to us?" Lacey asks.

"No, I mean, she probably won't." Stiles says.

"Oh, my God, what if she disowns us?" Lacey asks.

"I really don't think that would happen." Stiles says. "Besides, if she did, you could just come live with us. My Dad loves you. Liam could go live with Scott or Mason." Stiles says.

"Oh, my God. Stop talking. You're making this worse." Lacey says, slightly incredulously.

"Okay, I'm sorry. Don't tell her. It's okay." Stiles says and Lacey huffs, sitting back in her seat.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

At Stiles, Lacey sits on his bed, reading through multiple webpages he'd printed off whilst Stiles continued scouring the internet for more on his computer. "Any luck over there?" Stiles asks, glancing at the blonde.

"I'll give you two guesses." Lacey says.

"So, no then." Stiles says.

"How'd you guess?" She asks, looking up at him.

"You want a drink or something to eat?" Stiles asks as he gets up.

"Just a water, thanks." Lacey responds and he nods before heading out of the room and the blonde sighs before moving the papers to the side and heading to the bathroom.

She turns on the tap to wash her hands before pausing when she looks down. "Stiles!" The blonde calls.

"What?" He shouts back.

"Can you come here a second please?" Lacey asks.

"To the bathroom?" He asks.

"Stiles!"

"Okay, I'm coming." He responds before she hears footsteps moving towards her as she opens the bathroom door. "What's- Holy shit." He says when he sees the blonde's claws.

"How the fuck do I get rid of them?" She asks.

"Why are you asking me? I've never had claws." Stiles says. "Why are they black?" He asks, tilting his head.

"How the hell am I supposed to know?" Lacey asks.

"Well, I don't think you're a Kanima. Their claws don't look like that." Stiles says.

"There is nothing in the Bestiary that has claws like this." Lacey says, holding her hand up.

"Okay, can you please refrain from waving that hand at me. Very human over here." Stiles says and she pulls her hand back away from him. "Maybe it'd help if you calmed down."

"Calm down? Stiles look at my hand! How am I supposed to calm down?" Lacey asks.

"Hey, do you have supernatural healing?" He asks.

"What?" Lacey asks.

"I was just thinking. All that time we spent not knowing if you were a Chimera, we could have just tested if you healed like a werewolf." Stiles says.

"I don't know about you, but I'm pretty damn sure right now." Lacey says.

"Well, yeah, obviously. But we should probably still find out." Stiles says.

"Can we please stay focused on the matter at hand, please? Literally." She says.

"Right, sorry. But I really do think your best bet is to calm down." Stiles says. "You know, they don't really look like claws." Stiles says, stepping closer to her.

"What are you talking about?" Lacey asks.

"I mean, they kind of look more like-" He trails off. "Wait here one minute." He says before walking out the room and Lacey watches him leave more incredulously.

"Oh, my God." She mutters before rubbing her face with her other hand.

He comes back a moment later with his phone in hand, tapping the screen. "Look." He says, stepping over to her as he turns his phone towards her.

"What the hell am I looking at?" She asks.

"Well, look at the way this curves and the way your 'claws' curve." He says.

"Yes, I see that. What the hell am I looking at?" Lacey asks.

"Oh, uh, a scorpion stinger." He says.

"I'm sorry, a what?" Lacey asks.

"A scorpion stinger." Stiles says, looking over at her.

"A what?" The blonde asks.

"I get a feeling you're not actually asking." He says.

"Wait, so whatever it was the Dread Doctors did to me, it made me part scorpion, part something else?" Lacey asks.

"That would be my guess." Stiles responds.

"No." Lacey says.

"What do you mean no?" Stiles asks.

"I mean no. I reject your theory so no." Lacey says.

"You can't just reject my theory." Stiles argues.

"I just did. Deal with it." The blonde retorts. "A scorpion is not a supernatural creature." She argues.

"Nobody said the Dread Doctors were making Chimeras with only supernatural creatures. And I mean, Lucas had scorpion stingers sticking out of his arm. So, I'd just be grateful yours are like claws." Stiles says.

"I don't like this." She says.

"Well that's totally understandable." Stiles responds. "Okay, just deep breaths, try focusing on getting your claws to go away." Stiles says and she sighs, closing her eyes before taking a deep breath and exhaling slowly as she holds her hand out.

"Did it work?" She asks without opening her eyes.

"Try taking another deep breath." He says and Lacey bites her tongue momentarily to stop herself from snarking back before taking another deep breath. "You did it!" He says and the blonde open her eyes before looking down at her hand with a relieved look on her face.

"Oh, my God." She says.

"Have you seen any other supernaturally stuff?" Stiles asks.

"Uh, I think I saw my eyes glow silver last night. I told Malia but I just assumed it didn't really happen because there's nothing in the Bestiary that does that." Lacey says.

"Maybe it's a Chimera thing." Stiles says.

"Tracy's eyes were just like normal Kanima eyes." Lacey says.

"Yeah, but Tracy was a werewolf-Kanima hybrid. Those two are pretty similar. Remember we told you about Jackson who was a Kanima and then we turned him into a werewolf." Stiles says.

"So, what? You think that because whatever I am isn't similar, they're clashing?" She asks.

"Maybe." Stiles responds.

"Well that sucks. How the hell are we supposed to figure out what I am?" Lacey asks.

"We'll have to figure out ways to narrow it down." Stiles responds.

"I really, really hate this." Lacey says and he nods.

"I know. We'll figure it out, Lace. I promise." Stiles says before nodding for her to follow him back to his room.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

They get back to researching when they sit down but Lacey just sits there staring at the same piece of paper for a few minutes as she thinks. "Stiles?"

"Yeah?" He says, turning to look at her.

"All the Chimeras keep dying. The Dread Doctors keep killing them." Lacey says. "What if they kill me too?"

"Didn't they say something different to you than to Tracy at the station?" He asks.

"Yeah, but they just said 'promising'. What's to stop 'promising' from becoming 'terminal' next time they see me?" She asks.

"Lace, we're not going to let them kill you. I promise." Stiles says and she nods, smiling at him briefly before looking back down at the papers in her lap. He turns back away when his phone buzzes, picking it up to read the message on the screen. "Apparently Lydia figured out someone we can talk to about the book. She's coming over now." Stiles says and Lacey looks up before nodding.

Lydia walks into the room about fifteen minutes later and both of them look over at her. "Okay, what did you find and how did you find out before us?" Lacey asks, gesturing at the sheets of paper everywhere.

"The acknowledgements page had a message written on it. 'For providing scientific perspective and invaluable insight, this book is dedicated to Dr. Gabriel Valack.' Valack is at Eichen House." Lydia says.

"Oh, well, that's unfortunate. Guess that rules out us talking to him." Lacey says with a shrug.

"No, we're still going." Lydia says.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Lacey asks.

"If you're going, I'm going." Stiles says.

"What the hell is wrong with you?" Lacey asks, looking at Stiles.

"Scott and Kira are coming. Neither of you have to." Lydia says.

"Good. Because I'm not." Lacey says.

"Lydia, I'm going with you." Stiles says.

"I thought you said you were sick." Lydia argues and Lacey frowns at him. He hadn't said anything to her and he'd seemed fine all morning.

"I'm slightly under the weather." Stiles responds.

"You don't have to come. Malia's not going, either." Lydia says.

"Malia's not going because she knows that place is a nightmare asylum of insanity and death, okay?." He says and Lacey frowns. She was seriously failing to see the selling point here. "Let's go." Stiles says, pulling his hoodie on and he winces slightly, making both girls share a look.

"What was that?" Lydia asks.

"What was what?" Stiles asks.

"You winced." Lydia says.

"I have a bad elbow." Stiles responds.

"But you didn't wince when you moved your elbow." Lacey says with a slight frown.

"Yeah, it was your shoulder." Lydia agrees.

"Pain radiates. It does that." Stiles says.

"It doesn't straight up move." Lacey says and Lydia steps into Stiles' way when he goes to leave the room.

"You are not going without me. You remember what happened to Deaton when he talked to Valack?" Stiles asks.

"Scott and Kira are going to be there." Lydia responds.

"Okay. I'm not letting you go to a place where one of the orderlies almost killed you." Stiles says.

"He almost killed you too." Lydia says.

"And we're both still alive. See? Teamwork." Stiles suggests.

"Maybe nobody should go. Maybe we should send Theo." Lacey says and both of them glance at the blonde, Lydia presses her lips together as Stiles tilts his head like he was considering it slightly.

"No, we're not doing that." Lydia says when she sees the look on Stiles' face.

"Okay, fine. Then let's go. Lace, you can stay here, I'll be back later and Malia should be here later too." Stiles says.

"You'll hopefully be back later." Lacey remarks and Lydia frowns.

"Yeah, that's fine. I deserved that." Stiles says before leaving the room and Lydia glances between them with a frown but Lacey just shrugs at her before she follows Stiles.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

Lacey is sitting on Stiles' bed after putting all of the papers away, with her book and sticky notes laid out in front of her. She glances up briefly when she hears the door open downstairs before she hears footsteps walking up the stairs. "Stiles?" Noah calls before stopping in his bedroom doorway.

"Lacey." The blonde says, holding a hand up.

"Where's Stiles?" He asks.

"Uh, with Scott and Lydia. I didn't feel like going." Lacey responds and he nods.

"Shouldn't you be at school?" Noah asks.

"I wasn't feeling great earlier so Stiles drove me when he came home because he wasn't feeling great either." Lacey explains.

"Not that I mind, but then what are you doing here instead of being at home." Noah asks.

"My Mom can get a little suffocating when I don't feel very well. And I really am okay, so, I just don't feel like being lovingly smothered." Lacey explains and he nods with a slight chuckle.

"Okay, then." He responds before heading down the hall and Lacey goes back to her book.

She glances back up briefly before looking up when she hears Noah walking back down the hall. "Hey," She says and he stops in the doorway. "Have you got a chess set here or is it at the station?"

"I've got one here. It's downstairs. Come on." He says and she puts her things to the side before getting up and following him downstairs.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

The two of them are sat at the kitchen table playing chess when Malia and Stiles get back at the same time, only now they had Chinese food they'd ordered for dinner. "Hey, we're back." Stiles says.

"Dining room." Lacey says and the front door shuts as she picks up her piece to move it.

"You ordered dinner without us this time?" Stiles asks and both of them glance at him.

"We were hungry." Lacey says.

"We ordered food for both of you." Noah says and Malia immediately moves to grab some, sitting down in the seat next to Noah as he moves a piece on the board, taking one of Lacey's pawns.

"I give up." Stiles says, shaking his head briefly as he moves to grab his food.

.·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·. .·:*¨༺ ༻¨*:·.

After Noah had gone to bed, later that night, the three of them are sitting in the bed in Stiles' room. "Okay, so, what did you want to talk about?" Lacey asks once Stiles has finished giving them a rundown on what happened at Eichen House.

"Well, first, I think we should probably fill Malia in on what happened today." Stiles suggests.

"Why? What happened?" Malia asks with a frown.

"Uh, I went to the bathroom earlier and as I was washing my hands, claws appeared." Lacey says.

"Well, claws but they were kinda curved. We figured they looked more like a scorpion's stinger than claws." Stiles says.

"A scorpion? Like that kind from the club?" Malia asks.

"Yeah, only, thankfully, less freaky." Lacey says and Malia nods.

"Yeah, definitely." She says.

"Which means, that hopefully, I'm not gonna grow a tail." Lacey says.

"We still don't know what the other thing is yet. So, I wouldn't get too excited." Stiles says and Lacey looks at him incredulously. "I'm sorry." He says and she shakes her head.

"Well, how are we going to find that out?" Malia asks.

"Well, I figured we could narrow it down by doing things that could help us identify other supernatural creatures. You know, see if wolfsbane has any effect." Stiles says.

"Okay," Malia says.

"But that can wait." Lacey says.

"Okay, uh, also," Malia says and both of them look over at her.

"I was with Theo today," She says,

"What?"

"Are you insane?"

"It was nothing. Okay? He let me drive his truck but I had a memory flashback. To the night my mom and sister died." Malia says.

"Are you okay?" Lacey asks.

"The Desert Wolf was there." She says.

"What do you mean she was there?" Stiles asks.

"I mean she was there. Waiting in the road and she shot at the car. That's why my mom swerved off the road." Malia says.

"So, it wasn't you." Lacey says.

"Not that part, no." Malia responds.

"Are you okay?" Stiles asks.

"I'm fine. But this means Valack was telling the truth about the book accessing memories. I just didn't have any of the Dread Doctors." Malia says.

"Guess this means we all have to read the stupid, creepy book." Lacey says. "Okay, anyone else have anything weird happen to them today or are you finally going to tell me what you wanted to talk about?" Lacey asks and the other two share a look before turning to look at Lacey.

"Okay, Lace, this is potentially going to sound a little bizarre." Stiles says.

"A little bizarre," She repeats with a frown.

"We both like you." Malia says.

"Well, I kind of gathered that considering we hung out like all the time over the summer." Lacey says.

"No, not as a friend, Lace." Stiles says and she frowns. "Okay, Lacey, we both like you romantically." He says.

"Uh, huh." She says.

"Did you hear him?" Malia asks.

"Yeah, my brain's just catching up." Lacey responds and Malia nods. "You like me romantically? Both of you? As in the way you both like each other? That's what we mean right?"

"Yeah, I don't understand what was confusing about that." Malia says.

"She's still processing, Mal. She was just clarifying." Stiles explains.

"Oh." The were-coyote says.

"How long have you liked me?" Lacey asks.

"A while." Malia says.

"Why didn't you say anything before now?" She asks.

"Because we weren't sure how you felt. But I mean, like you said, we spent most of the summer together just the three of us and we've spent the night at each other's places. And then we were just trying to find the right time to tell you. Because we were going to tell you after Senior Scribe but things got a little nuts." Stiles explains.

"Oh, my God." Lacey says.

"Do you like us, or?" Malia asks.

"Oh, my God. My Mom figured this out before I did." Lacey says with a frown. "Oh, my God. Liam figured this out before I did." The blonde says incredulously. "That's a little embarrassing."

"Does she like us or not?" Malia asks Stiles and he chuckles briefly.

"I think this is a yes." He responds and Malia looks back at the blonde.

"Is it?" She asks and Lacey nods before humming in surprise when Malia almost immediately shifts forwards to kiss her. She returns the kiss when the werecoyote shifts like she was going to pull away moments later.

Lacey pulls away a moment later, her cheeks flushed slightly pink and she smiles slightly, scrunching her nose up a little before glancing at Stiles. "Are you just gonna sit there staring? Cause some people may consider that to be a little creepy." The blonde says.

"I wouldn't say creepy. Weird maybe." Malia says.

"We're not doing this." Stiles says, gesturing between them.

"Then you should probably apologise for kissing me right in front of him." Lacey whispers to Malia.

"That is not what I meant and you know it. I mean you two are not going to start ganging up on me all the time." Stiles says.

"But it's what we did before." Malia says with a slight frown and Lacey snorts slightly in amusement.

"No, because I know how this is going to end. You two are going to gang up on me at every opportunity. Including in bed." Stiles says.

"But wouldn't you want us to gang up on you in bed?" Lacey asks with a slight frown and Stiles pauses slightly clearly thinking it over. "He didn't think of that." She whispers to Malia.

"Clearly not." The werecoyote agrees.

"I take back what I said." Stiles says and Lacey nods a little.

"Are you guys gonna kiss or what?" Malia asks, looking between them.

"What are we pressed for time?" Stiles asks.

"What?" Malia asks and he pauses.

"Nothing, don't worry about it." Stiles responds and Lacey laughs slightly, glancing between them.

The blonde moves over to Stiles, shifting onto her knees in front of him as she leans in to kiss him and his hands land on her hips as he kisses her back.
