Bilang inaanak ni Aero Ringo, malapit si Lily sa pamilya ng may-ari ng Aerist Tower, kahit sa ex-wife nitong singer. That's why when Mr. Ringo decided to win back Istanna, Lily was more than excited to help him.

Though not as excited, Ken also agreed to help out after Mr. Ringo promised her a discount on the monthly payment for her unit. Lily was also able to drag Heidi and Matt into helping her godfather by promising them a raise. Silang apat, kasama ang dalawang anak ni Mr. Ringo, ang naging team para sa OPLAN Muling Ibalik.

Today was the ex-couple's twenty-fifth wedding anniversary. May inihinandang surpresa si Mr. Ringo at may kanya-kanyang naka-assign na gagawin ang mga pumayag na tumulong. Lily and Matt were assigned to coordinate with the hotel for setting up the function room, the Ringo twins were tasked with bringing their mother to the hotel, and Heidi and Ken were in charge of the music.

The function room was decorated with a Mediterranean theme since the couple first met on a Mediterranean cruise as teenagers. The white and blue motif would remind one of the sea and sky. Gleaming plates, glasses, and cutlery were neatly placed on the only wooden, varnished table in the middle of the room with matching chairs for the couple. The relaxing scent of Jasmine filled the air as the plants were placed around the room to complete the Mediterranean atmosphere. Kinausap ni Lily ang hotel chef para kumustahin ang pagkain habang kinakausap ni Matt ang lighting technician.

Mr. Ringo was distractedly pacing around the room. Ayon sa group chat, kasama na ng mga anak nito ang kanilang ina. Almost everything was perfect. Almost, kasi may kulang pa. Ken and Heidi's hurried whispers and panicky movements must've caught his attention 'cause he walked over to them.

"Parating na ba 'yong musicians? As a singer, my Istanna has very good ears and high standards when it comes to music," Mr. Ringo warned them.

"Ano po kasi..." Hindi sigurado si Ken kung paano itutuloy at ipapaalam sa landlord niya na ang inimbitahan nilang string quartet ay 'di makakarating.

Huminga nang malalim si Heidi at saka mabilis na itinuloy ang sinasabi ni Ken. "'Di po sila makakapunta kasi nagkahawaan sila ng chicken pox at ngayong araw lang sila nagka-symptoms."

Mr. Ringo gasped as he started to panic. Agad namang nagsalita si Ken para hindi na ma-stress ang nakatatandang lalaki. "But don't worry, we'll find a way to make it work. Makakahanap po kami ng mga tutugtog. Just trust me, okay?"

Her words seemed to help the man calm down so Ken and Heidi wasted no time in finding people who could help. Heidi didn't seem so confident in their plan. "Paano kung wala tayong mahanap, Ken? Anong Plan B?"

"Patutugtugin natin ng gitara si Aidan at papakantahin si Lily," Ken explained though she wasn't looking forward to that option.

"Aidan, Mr. Ringo's son? Are you friends? Pakilala mo naman ako oh," Heidi said.

"Bakit, pagseselosin mo ba si Matthew Jamie Lin?" tanong ni Ken habang nagtataas ng isang kilay.

"Ha-hala, hindi ah!" Hearing their teammate's full name made Heidi blush.

Ken gave her a doubtful look. "Okay fine, maybe that was the intention but you know it'll never work. You and Lily probably noticed that I like him but he doesn't. Nakaka-stress! Sobrang taas ng IQ niya pero sobrang clueless 'pag nilalandi," Heidi said, clearly frustrated.

"Anong sinasabi mong 'di niya alam? Eh lagi kayong nag-aaminan ng feelings 'pag lasing." Ken chuckled.

"That's not how it happens. 'Pag nalalasing ako, umaamin ako sa kanya. Pero alam mo ba kung anong sinasabi niya sa 'kin? 'Lasing ka na, Heidi. Umuwi ka na.' It's so pathetically one-sided kaya as soon as I sober up, kailangan kong bawiin. Kawawa naman kasi 'yong pride ko."

Ken saw how bothered she was and was tempted to tell her about that one time when Matt responded to her confession after she passed out but it wasn't her story to tell. "I really don't know what to tell you so good luck na lang, Heidi. Anyway, kung gusto mo talagang makilala si Aidan Ringo, I can't help you."

"Bakit naman? Ex mo ba 'yon?"

"Nope, ex-manliligaw ni Lily."

"Oh," naliwanagang sagot ni Heidi. "So para siyang Sage na mortal mong kaaway?"

"Hindi naman. Si Sage kasi, mas makulit, mas mayabang, mas nakakapikon, mas—" malalim ang dimples, mas matigas ang abs, mas nakakaaliw kausap, at mas cute 'pag concerned. Napailing si Ken. Buti na lang at napigilan niya ang sariling purihin ang airbending fuckboy.

"Mas?" tanong ni Heidi nang biglang tumahimik si Ken.

"Ah, basta pareho silang hindi nararapat kay Lily, end of story!"

"Bakit parang ang laki ng influence mo sa love life ni Lily? Ayaw mo bang magka-happily ever after din 'yon?"

"She knows that deep inside, hindi niya rin gusto ang mga 'yon. Kung sinabihan niya akong tumigil na sa pang-aaway ng mga manliligaw niya, I would," sabi ni Ken. "Pero ba't ang dami mong tanong? Maghanap na tayo ng tutugtog kung gusto mo ng salary increase. Do'n ka na sa cafe at ako na sa restaurant."

Heidi nodded and they went their separate ways. Pagdating ni Ken sa restaurant, agad niyang nilibot ng tingin ang lugar. She spotted a grand piano that reminded her of Sage's penthouse and the events of that night. Shaking her head, she pushed those thoughts to the back of her mind so she could focus on the task at hand.

May piano pero walang tumutugtog kaya naisipan niyang magtanong sa receptionist kung anong oras ang shift ng musician. She was about to head towards the exit when she spotted a pianist kissing an heiress's hand.

Her mind went blank. A heavy feeling persisted on the left side of her chest. Realizing that she had been staring for a while, Ken quickly turned around and left.

Sa pagmamadaling makaalis, nakalimutan niya nang magtanong tungkol sa musician. She just ran out of the restaurant and across the hotel lobby.

"Ken!" Ba't ba siya kailangang sundan ni Sage? Pinagtitinginan sila ng mga tao sa lobby. It was pretty rare to see two young adults running around posh hotel lobbies like five-year-olds.

Sage finally caught up to her when she entered the function room. He grabbed her wrist, stopping her from running. "Bakit ka ba tumatakbo? Do you hate me that much?"

It was somewhat an instinct. Hindi niya rin alam ang saktong dahilan kung bakit siya tumakbo but Ken was always quick to answer and she didn't think much about her reply this time. "Bakit ka ba sumusunod? Do you like me that much?"

Napanganga si Sage sa sinabi niya pero mas nagulat pa si Ken sa mga salitang lumabas sa bibig niya. Pareho silang natahimik.

Someone else broke the silence for them. "Good thinking, Ken, piano prodigy nga pala ang boyfriend mo. Why are you asking him if he likes you that much? Pumunta siya rito ngayong kailangan mo siya. Of course, he likes you that much!" Sa lahat ng pwedeng makarinig sa kanila, si Mr. Ringo pa talaga.

Unfortunately for both Sage and Ken, malakas ang boses ni Mr. Ringo at wala itong ideyang nagkakalat ito ng fake news. Nakatingin ang lahat sa kanila habang nakatingin sila sa isa't isa. Why the hell wasn't Sage correcting this misunderstanding?

Ken swallowed. Uunahin niya bang ipaliwanag sa mga nakapaligid sa kanila ang maling akala ni Mr. Ringo o ipaliwanag sa sarili ang kakaibang nararamdaman?
