Novilene cringed seeing the woman getting beat up by an Unsub watching the video. "So the music's not added like a regular soundtrack. It's in the background, so if you turn it down, you also turn down the voices." Hotch explained it to his team.

"Well, can't we get Garcia to separate the audio tracks?" Morgan asks curiously.

"She's working on it now."

"Well, the sooner we hear how he talks to the victim, the sooner we'll know what kind of man we're dealing with." He observes the two papers.

"Tell us about Laura Clemensen." Gideon asks JJ.

"20 years old. Sophomore at Jacksonville University in Florida." JJ answered. "Assumed to be the fifth in a series of rapes and murders over the past 2 years."

"She's 2 years younger than me." Novilene commented and Reid patted her shoulder as she smiled at him in a grateful look as he returned the gesture.

"She is. Some women were abducted in parking lots, others while they were running."

"And when was she reported missing?" She asks her curiously.

"Technically she wasn't." JJ answered and crossing her arms. "Roommate thought she was visiting family."

"Close to her family?" Hotch questioned.

"Very. She had dinner with them on Sunday."

"That was 5 days ago, and nobody's seen her until now."

"She wasn't killed on the tape." Morgan pointed out. "And given Forensics, other victims were tortured for weeks before they were killed, so I think we should operate as if she's still alive."

"Not for long if the bastard gets his way." Elle spoke up bluntly.

"Ok, I don't get it. This is the fifth abduction and now the second DVD. Why they wait to call this in?" Morgan asks curiously.

"The last victim's family." JJ spoke up and showed them different scenes. "Received this DVD 2 days ago. Jacksonville PD thought maybe they'd get some more clues. Instead of just raise more questions."

"Can you turn that down, please?" Gideon asks the media Liaison and she did.

"There seems to be a natural escalation to the murders. It began as brutal attacks against the victims, and now it's psychological attacks to the families." Reid explained.

"So if the thrill of the kill isn't enough to satisfy his sadistic needs, he needs to spread panic, and he thrives on that." Hotch pointed out.

"Sadistic killers are typically strangers to their victims." Novilene spoke up and pushing her glasses. "It's easier for the offender to torture and kill someone that they don't know."

"Offenders." Gideon spoke up. "Man on the tape isn't doing this just for himself."

"He's playing to an audience, not her family." She realizes what Gideon is thinking of then silently asking JJ to hand the remote and she did. "Someone watching... who can appreciate what he's doing, admire his sadistic skills."

"It is a characteristic of partners to record their crimes so they can relive the fantasy later." Reid commented and Novilene nodded her head.

"How can we be sure?" Elle asks the two young geniuses.

"Right there. The camera moves." Hotch spoke up and seeing the camera moves.

"Can you pause it, Mulan." Gideon ordered his daughter and she did. "One guy tortures while the other records it. Master and servant."

"Jacksonville PD's been looking for this killer for years." Hotch pointed out. "How long is it gonna take 'em to find a team?" He asks curiously.

"Mulan, can you asks Lia to aid us for this case." He asks Novilene as she gaped in surprised at the sudden requests. "She's expert on this type of case. Remember Benjamin Salvadore?"

"How could I forget him?" She shakes her head. "He's completely lovable Uncle figure to me and happened to be Lia's guardian."

"Lia Snow?" Hotch stared at the father-daughter duo. "Who is she exactly." He met her once back at the hospital.

"Another fellow genius and the one who solved the cold case before she became an FBI Agent back then." Novilene answered. "No one really knows her IQ because she doesn't want to take the test to see how much she got."

"Not even her guardians?" Morgan asks with a surprised look on his face.

"Nope, Lia hates the center of attraction and decided to keep a low profile." she grabs her phone and contact her. "Hey, Cee. It's me, Novilene. Are you at work? Good, can I speak with your Chief, Jethro Gibbs please?"

"This is Jethro Gibbs." She heard a gruff voice.

"Good morning, sir. I'm SSA Novilene Cruz from the BAU. I would like to have your consent of allowing one of your teammates, Lia Snow, to join us temporary." She asks and silently hoping Gibbs would say yes.

"As long as you don't recruit her, yeah. Just make sure my Agent is back in one piece or I'll have your boss head. You may be her friend and I'll be damned if you're going to get her in danger." He threatened her and Novilene smiled nervously.

"Crystal clear, sir." Novilene hides her fear of this man. "May I speak to her, now?"

"Sorry about him, Nov. Jethro is always been overprotective towards me." Lia apologizes knowing Gibbs scared her friend.

"No kidding. I'll see you at the airport and bring your medicine, please. I know that you still have motion sickness." She ends the call and sighs heavily then pointing at her father. "I despise you so much, dad."

"You wouldn't." Gideon commented and Novilene shakes her head.

Novilene would rather face the criminals than this man, Jethro Gibbs. She didn't expect to meet him in person especially threatening her if Lia is in danger because of her. Novilene didn't expect this man could be so more intimidating than her father especially this man could almost see right through her.

"Sorry about Jethro, Nov." Lia apologizes to her friend numerous times. She didn't expect Jethro giving her friend a threat in case she's in danger because of her. "He has always been overprotective on me for a reason."

"I wonder why..." She muttered and shaking her head. "How's life treating you?"

"Other than Tony's flirting? My life is okay." She smiled and nudged her shoulder. "You? I haven't met your boyfriend yet. Who is he?"

"His name is Spencer Reid." Novilene smiled shyly. "He's everything to me."

"I'm glad you have someone, what's the case all about?" She asks her curiously.

"The Clemensen family received a video coming from their daughter named, Laura Clemensen. She's 20 years old Sophomore at Jacksonville University in Florida. We assumed to be the fifth in a series of rapes and murders over the past 2 years." Novilene explained it to her. "Another thing is that the father died of a heart attack seeing his daughter was tortured from the video."

"Oh dear..." Lia gasped at the sudden news and silently prayed for the man. "I couldn't imagine if your child was tortured by someone and send you a video."

"Me too." She leads her inside of their private jet. "Guys, I believe you already met, Lia Snow from NCIS."

"Hey." Lia greeted them with a warm smile. "We met each other before and I didn't catch your names."

"NCIS?" Morgan asks Lia curiously.

Just when Lia is about to answer, someone beat her up to it. "It is also known as Naval Criminal Investigative Service." Lia looked surprised and glancing at the man. "Doctor Spencer Reid."

"I didn't know you're dating a Doctor, Nov." Lia whispered and Novilene smiled sheepishly.

"He has Doctorate, not an actual medical Doctor." She whispered back and clearing her throat. "Anyway, that's Derek Morgan, Elle Greenaway, Jennifer Jareau, my Unit Chief, Aaron Hotchner, lastly, you already know my dad."

"Yeah, it's a pleasure to meet you, everyone, once again." Lia spoke up and smiled politely. "Shall we see the video again?"

"That's the third time he's looked back at the camera." Gideon commented once he played the video again. "He's looking back at his partner."

"These two are clearly deranged and acting out their worst sadistic fantasies." Lia pointed out and watching the video closely.

"Foile Aà Deux." Reid spoke up.

"Rare psychological phenomenon." Gideon muttered.

"In which 2 or more people share the same psychotic delusion." Lia explained and Morgan stared at her with a surprised look on his face. "Oops?" He shakes his head and muttering about how Novilene manages to get friends that are geniuses like her.

"In its literal translation, yes, but it often refers to the bond that exists between 2 people that bring out the worst in each other." Reid rambling and Lia blinks her eyes in surprise but didn't say anything.

"Mist killing teams have a dominant personality that instigates and plans and a submissive one who's the eager accomplice." Elle explained.

"So how do they decide who gets to kill?" JJ asks them curiously.

"Well, the dominant one will usually insist on taking the life." Hotch answered.

"So what's the psychology behind making these DVD's?"

"It's a shared souvenir, allows the dominant to keep the submissive one motivated, loyal and aroused." Lia answered.

"It's also about control. Built-in insurance policy for blackmail, just in case somebody gets cold feet." Morgan pointed out.

"It makes you wonder what might have happened if these 2 people never had met." Elle commented and Novilene hums in agreement.

"Chances are the women would still be alive." Gideon answered.

"Jacksonville PD just located Laura Clemensen's body." Garcia's face pop out of the screen. "Some hikers found her under a bridge." She showed them the picture of Clemensen as Lia silently prayed of her death.

"They never hide them." Hotch spoke up. "They're always easy to find."

"Guys, Laura Clemensen wasn't missing for more than a week." Reid pointed out.

"He's right. The time spent torturing's getting shorter." Lia commented and Reid nodded his head, agreeing with her opinion.

"Has her mother been notified?" JJ asks Garcia curiously.

"No, not yet." Garcia answered.

"We can cover more ground if we split up." Hotch informed them.

"Morgan and I'll meet Local P.D at the scene." Gideon informed him.

"Snow and I will talk to Laura Clemensen's mother." Lia looked shocked but didn't complain about it. "And since she just lost her husband..."

"I'll join you guys." Elle volunteered to join them.

"Lenny and I will start with the victimology, maybe find the reason why these women were targeted." Reid informed his Chief.

Novilene silently stared at Lia and she nodded her head, assuring that she's going to be alright. She didn't doubt of Lia's skill however, it's been a long time since they work together with the case. It's unfortunate that they don't get a team up to each other.

"After Frank and I watched that video. I-I knew." Laura Clemensen's mother, Mary, sniffs and Lia handed her a tissue. "At least she isn't suffering anymore." Silently thanking the Asian woman and wiping her tears using the tissue.

"Is there anything we can do for you?" Elle asks the mother.

"Um... F-Frank gave Laura a-a pearl and diamond ring for graduation. Could I get it back?" She asks the Federal Agents curiously.

"We will look into that right away." Lia assured the woman.

"Thank you."

"As part of our investigation, we're trying to gain some insight into your daughter, and, uh, I wondered whether she was... shy and quiet, or she was more outgoing and made friends easily?" Hotch question Mrs Clemensen.

"I mean, is this really important?" Mrs Clemensen asks them curiously.

"I know, it's hard Mrs Clemensen." Lia spoke up and smiling with a sympathy look on her. "We are just... wanting to know what your daughter's personality looks like. To see if we can find more similarities between the victims before and now, the more it will help us narrow down who's responsible for their deaths. They could get justice to atone for their commitments to the innocent women."

"Um... Frank had a ball in her hand from the minute she could walk." Mrs Clemensen spoke up. "She was confident. She knew everybody at school. She thought of our oldest, Patrick, as her best friend." It aches Lia's heart seeing her sadness of losing someone she loved. "You know, she was like most girls her age. She wanted everybody to like her. Frank used to think that she was too much of a people pleaser, but I think it shows a really good heart."

"I do, too." Elle commented with a smile on her face.

"The police told us that they may have a - they may have a witness who saw Laura giving someone directions." Hotch spoke up. "Does that sound like something she would have done?"

"We-we raised our children to be... helpful and- and kind, and- and that made Laura an easy target for a killer?" Mrs Clemensen asks the Federal Agents curiously.

"You have to know that you and Frank did everything right." Elle assured the woman.

"Frank was supposed to be at work yesterday, and if Laura- if Laura hadn't driven back to campus that night, I mean, this- this wasn't supposed to happen. This wasn't s-" Lia decided to hug the woman and she cried on her arms. She knows it's completely unprofessional for doing it however, it hurts her so much seeing the woman weeping over her family.

Hotch finally understands why Gideon allows Snow to join them because she has soft spots towards the women, to question them. She also comforted the woman despite it's unprofessional to do it. However, Snow didn't even care if she did it on purpose or not.

Novilene slaps her cheek slightly to focus the case on hand. She smiled seeing Hotch, Elle and Lia came back from their talking to Mrs Clemensen.

"Are there new victims?" Elle asks them curiously.

"Garcia just sent a list over of all he unsolved rapes and murders in the past 3 years." Reid answered and Novilene nodded her head in a grim expression.

"3 years, huh?" Lia muttered and stared at the pictures sadly.

"There are 2 that are particularly interesting." Novilene commented and forcing herself to focus the case than staring Reid wearing his glasses.

"They look the type. Anything else?" Hotch asks the two young geniuses curiously.

"Well, aside from sharing similar physical traits, they were also posed." Reid answered. "The only difference is they were manually strangled, which we think is why Jacksonville PD didn't find a connection."

"We find DNA on the first 2?" Elle asks curiously.

"That's the interesting part." Novilene spoke up and Lia raises her right eyebrow at her best friend curiously. "It didn't match the recent kills, but check this out." She pointed at the picture. "What if the dominant one allowed the submissive one to rape the first 2 victims in order to sort of draw him in, and then once he's hooked, he began keeping the prize all for himself?"

"You tell Morgan and Gideon about this?" Hotch asks them.

"They're still at the crime scene." Reid answered.

"We confirmed that Laura Clemensen had good relationships with her family and friends." Lia spoke up. "She got good grades and stayed out of trouble."

"Just like you before, Cee." Novilene teased the Filipino woman and she playfully glared at her. "Sorry. Just like all the other victims."

"Did you guys notice that the package sent to the Clemensen family was only sent to Mary?" JJ asks them out of the blue.

"What about the first DVD?" Hotch asks her.

"Um... let me, right here." JJ handed them the evidence. "Same thing. Why are they targeting the mothers?"

"The mother asked God to forgive the people responsible." Lia spoke up and they shared a look with Novilene.

"And?" Hotch stared at Lia curiously.

"The family that received the first DVD went on TV pleading for their daughter's life. That must have made the unsubs angry." She stared at Novilene's Unit Chief.

"So sending the DVD to the mother is a message in itself."

"A very clear one." Novilene commented and knowing what Lia's thinking right now. "They don't want or need forgiveness."

"We're up to 7 victims now?" Elle muttered as Novilene masking her frustrations to the Unsubs kidnapped another new girl now.

"The humiliating posing of the body can't be a coincidence." Lia commented and observing the pictures closely. "It's just too unique."

"Ditto." Novilene agreed with her and already taken off her black blazer to reveal her white tank top because of the heat. She didn't know Reid is glancing often at her bare fair skin arms, wanting to be touch by his hand.

"The bruising on the necks. Looks to me like the first victim struggled." Morgan pointed out and observing the pictures. "I'd say the killer probably lost his grip a couple times and really had to fight these women."

"That's why he switched from bare hands to a ligature." Hotch spoke up. "It's more efficient, controlled, and it doesn't sacrifice his sadistics need for a slow death."

"Because the DNA didn't match, Jacksonville PD just didn't put it together." Reid pointed out.

"Yeah, and since they weren't looking for 2 offenders... " Elle showed the documents to Reid and Novilene.

"Signature indicates these women had the same killers." Hotch informed them. "We just need to figure out who the hell they are."

"Well, Jacksonville PD searched everywhere, even swamps, and still didn't find the victims vehicles. I got Garcia tracing VINs, but my guess is they dispose of the cars just like they do the women." Morgan pointed out.

"Yeah, but the bodies are easy to find." Lia commented and frowned in deep thought. "Why do they go to so much trouble to hide the cars?"

The police officers are gathering around as Elle decided to spoke up regarding their profile about the Unsubs. "The dominant one is the mastermind. That's not to say that the submissive partner is in any way pure or innocent in this exchange."

"If their criminal desire wasn't present, their partnership wouldn't work." Gideon spoke up.

"The offenders share a common delusion. It's one that you and I would never accept, but it's this bond that justified their actions." Morgan explained.

"So we're looking for 2 sick minds who complete each other?" One of the officers ask questions quickly.

"It's kind of like the perfect storm." Reid spoke up. "Once these deviant personalities collide, they're deadly and unstoppable."

Hotch nodded his head confirmation. "Like the DC Snipers or the Columbine assassins." He pointed out. "Sometimes they've met in childhoood. Other times, they can be related, like the hillside stranglers, Angelo Buono and Kenneth Bianchi, psychopathic cousins who terrorized women in Los Angeles."

"The dominant partner makes the submissive one feel invincible." Novilene pointed out. "That's his reward for doing as he's told."

"Unfortunately there are countless opportunities for these twisted minds to meet, once they've pulled off their vicious acts, the two accept this as common behavior. And become bored with normal activity." Lia explained. "They live only for their new reality."

"They're obsessed with it, addicted to it. And there's a fierce loyalty between the two." She shoves her hands to her black pants. "The submissive one, however, is usually less intelligent, and easier to catch, and once caught, he is easier to turn."

"Lack of remorse increases their aggressiveness." Gideon pointed out. "Sexual sadists will stop when they're caught."

"And the need to psychologically torture the families-" Hotch was cut off by JJ.

"Sorry to interrupt." She asks the BAU team to follow her.

"If you've seen my daughter, please, Tiffany's all I have." The woman pleads to the people if they've seen her daughter. She showed them the picture of her daughter. "She-she went for a run last night, and she never came home. She's my baby." She weeps.

"Why weren't we told about this before she went on the news?" Lia demanded answers from JJ. She is frustrated by the Unsubs kidnapped another girl.

"Cause we didn't know about it." JJ answered and turning off the TV. "Tiffany was abducted from Middleberg."

"That's nearly an hour away and it's outside of Jacksonville's jurisdiction." Detective Robert Portillo informed them. "Are you sure these are the same offenders?"

"Well, she's their type." Gideon pointed out. "Grabbed her while jogging, just like their third victim. Middleberg's only an hour from here?"

"If they see this, it's just a matter of time before they send a DVD." Hotch spoke up in a grim tone.

"All right, Jennifer Jareau, FBI." She called someone on the phone. "You just aired a press conference with Beverly Spears. I need to speak to her immediately." Excusing herself and walked away.

"These guys are impatients." Morgan commented and Lia nodded her head.

"No kidding." Lia spoke up and glancing at everyone. "They just dumped Laura Clemensen's body 24 hours ago."

"Which means they're more dangerous than they were yesterday, and if Tiffany Spears is running out of time" Hotch spoke up.

"You okay?" Lia asks Novilene worriedly knowing her PTSD showed up lightly despite hiding it to everyone.

"Nothing escapes, you and dad, huh?" Novilene laughs weakly and stared at Lia in a sad expression. "What else do you want me to say?"

"Admit to Tito (Uncle)Jason, your team or your boyfriend." She stared at her as if she's an idiot person to ask a stupid question. "Nov, I know that you're a secretive woman and whatever you're hiding... I didn't push that to reveal it to me."

"Lia..." Lia just shakes her head disappointment at Novilene's sudden change of her personality. "People change and you know that."

"You think that I don't know about it?" She asks and scoffs loudly. "All I'm saying is, don't bottle it up or you're going to explode. I should go with Hotchner and Elle now." Walking away from her friend.

"Too early..." She whispered low enough until Lia is out of her sight. "It's like I've been recalling mom's tortured death all over again." Glancing down at her hand are shaking lightly then clenching it. "Pull yourself together, Novilene." She muttered and slapping her cheek lightly.

Novilene sighs and rubbing her forehead. This case is going around like circles and it makes her want to kill the murderers for killing innocent girls.

"You okay?" Reid asks his girlfriend worriedly seeing her distress look.

"Peachy... is just that... Joseph Davin shouldn't kill himself just to end his life so quickly." Novilene answered and biting her lower lips lightly. "He was terrified of going back to prison."

"Prison surrounded by deadly criminals." Gideon finished his daughter thoughts and she nodded her head in a grim expression.

"Once you're in prison. They trust no one but only themselves." She whispered and glancing at the window glass to see Elle is approaching them.

"Hey. Uh, Garcia's checking Mike Kroger's whereabouts when the women were abducted." She informed Gideon, Novilene and Reid. "Some of his alibis already checkout."

"What about Tony Canardo?" Reid questioned her.

"Morgan's still outside his house waiting." Gideon answered.

"Excuse me." One of the Police officers show up. "Agent Gideon, there's someone here who wants to talk to you."

The three of them walked out of the office and Novilene mentally gasped of the blonde pixie cut woman, covered with bruises all over her face. "Mrs Canardo." Gideon called her.

"After you left, I got nervous, so I went to find Tony." Mrs Canardo spoke up.

"Ma'am, please sit down." Novilene spoke gently and stared at Reid. "Grab my bag, there's a first-aid kit. I need to treat her wounds." She whispered at him and he grabs her bag.

"And he-he knew something was up, so..." She thanked the half-Asian woman and seat on the chair.

"What'd you tell him?" Gideon asks her curiously.

"Salamat (thanks)." Novilene thanked Reid for grabbing her bag.

"I told him the truth." Mrs Canardo answered as Novilene immediately grabs her first-aid kit on her bag. "That the FBI was asking questions."

"So he hit you?" Elle asks her.

"I wasn't completely honest with you about Tony." She looked down and ashamed of her mistakes. "He fell off the wagon a while ago. I was just afraid to say something. I didn't wanna betray him. He's my husband."

"No." Novilene cleared her throat lightly to masks her anger. "It's good that you're here with us. You're safe with us." Assuring the blonde woman and starting to treat her wounds.

"I'm gonna go tell Portillo, Hotch and Snow that they should meet Morgan." Elle informed Gideon.

"Uh, Mrs Canardo, can I ask you a question?" Reid asks Mrs Canardo politely and Novilene gently wipes the blood of her lower lip.

"Yes?" Mrs Canardo asks the young Doctor.

"Uh, is that ring new?"

"Tony won some money playing poker." She answered and hissed quietly of the sting. "He bought it as a gift."

"Sorry." Novilene apologizes and putting cream on her right black eye gently.

"Why?"

"Looks a lot like Laura Clemensen's." Novilene answered and finished tending Mrs Canardo's wound. She noticed the ring the moment Mrs Canardo showed up.

Mrs Canardo shudders and immediately removing the ring out of her finger. She didn't expect to wear the ring that already had an owner of it. The blonde woman was wondering if this half-Asian young woman is a FBI or a Doctor.

"You should be alright." Novilene assured Mrs Canardo and removing the latex gloves. "It's not seriously life threating on your wounds. Just apply this cream for your black eye and swollen right cheek."

"Thank you... are you a Doctor or FBI?" Mrs Canardo asks her curiously.

"Former Doctor and change my occupation as FBI Agent." Novilene placing her first-aid kit back on her bag. She couldn't help but feel suspicious of this woman behavior. It looks like Mrs Canardo is hiding something from them deeply.

Lia and Morgan silently followed Tony Canardo, the husband of Mrs Canardo. Morgan silently asks her that he goes first and she nodded her head while holding the gun. Morgan walks ahead and got whacked by a baseball bat.

"Big mistake." Lia muttered and immediately putting her gun back on the holster. She immediately grabs Canardo's right arm and using her right leg to kick his stomach. Flipping him over her petite figure by pulling Canardo's arm roughly.

"Wow..." Morgan looked surprised at how she managed to flip him. "Are you not related to mini Gideon?"

"Apparently not, Morgan." Lia answered and immediately handcuff Canardo.

"Morgan! Snow!" Morgan heard Hotch's calling them.

"Yeah! Right here!" Morgan yelled.

Hotch looked surprised to see Lia was the one who handcuffed Canardo, not his colleague. "You two couldn't wait?" He asks them.

"We didn't want him to get away."

"You two alright? Say anything?"

"No." Lia answered and allowing the Police officers to take him over. "You should have stuck to beating up girls. Bring him inside." She ordered them.

"Thank you." Two Police officers thanked her and dragging Canardo.

Portillo, Lia and Morgan went inside of Canardo's house. "The tapes are sitting right out."

"Does anybody wiped this off?" Hotch asks Morgan and Lia curiously.

"We were never in this room. We never saw them." Morgan answered.

Hotch turned on the tape to see Tiffany Spears getting raped by the two Unsubs. "It's Tiffany Spears."

"Where is she?" Morgan asks Canardo but he didn't answer.

They already put Tony Canardo in the interrogation room. He didn't say any word to them and Novilene rubbing her two fingers lightly in deep thoughts.

"If we're gonna get anything out of Tony, we gotta praise him." Hotch spoke up. "He's the dominant. He thinks he deserves it."

"Confirm instead of undermine his expectations." Morgan pointed out. "Make him think he's smarter than us because he saw it coming."

"There's more than that..." Lia spoke up and crossing her arms. "Novilene, you said that Mrs Canardo was abused by her husband, right?"

"Yeah..." Novilene narrowed her eyes at her. "You're thinking the same too." Morgan looked confused about what they're saying right now.

"We don't have much time." Gideon intervened before they are going explain more of their theories.

"I'll do it." Lia volunteered before Novilene could say it. "You're my translator of what I'm going to do. Tandaan mo yung sinabo ko sayo (Remember what I told you)." She said the last part to her.

Lia just went to the interrogation room before Novilene has a chance to say it back. She mentally sighs and watching the screen.

"I know. I'm sorry. That's just standard procedure." Lia apologizes and smiled sheepishly at the suspect. "I'm Special Agent Lia Snow, working with task force. I wanted to compliment your hard work of this case. You've got people at the BAU shaking their heads." She fakely compliments him.

"What about you? You shaking your head?" Canardo asks her curiously. "Considering you hold me down."

"Absolutely and in my defense, we can talk without any violence at all." She smiled sweetly and Novilene flinches at her smile.

"I hate that smile of her." Novilene commented and having goosebumps of seeing it.

"She has a plan isn't it?" Gideon asks her curiously.

"Yeah." Novilene answered. "She's sweet and a bit like Satan."

"Says the former The Terror itself." He teased her and she glared at him playfully.

"Morgan can you call Garcia and to check the history of Canardo's wife." Novilene ordered Morgan.

"Why?" He asks her curiously and she smirked.

"She is involved to this case." She answered. "Mrs Canardo can pretend she's an innocent woman, however, she's playing us." Remembering a certain red-haired woman who used to be ruthless before.

"7 victims in 3 years." Lia whistles in amused. "You've got every woman in Jacksonville living in fear. That's pretty much what you wanted, isn't it?" She asks him curiously.

"Well, I'm sure whoever's responsible for it is enjoying it." Canardo answered.

"The BAU would like to show your interview, with your permission, of course." She fake smile.

"Show me what's in the boxes." He ordered her considering he's been strapped by them.

"Sure." Lia showed him each one of the files. "This is all your works and we can open it all if you want."

"No, I wanna see my Lawyer." He shakes his head.

"Well, Tony sure Lawyered up quick." Morgan commented after he called Garcia to check information about Mrs Canardo.

"He sure did." Novilene pressed her comm. "Cee, convince him to tell us where Tiffany Spear is. I'll bring Mrs Canardo to a different room because this is all part of their plan." Putting the blazer on.

"Plan?" Reid asks his girlfriend curiously.

"Yeah." Novilene stared at everyone. "Mrs Canardo is the dominant one, she's ordering him what to do. Before we put her husband inside the interrogation room. They're silently giving messages through their eyes, not to say anything to us about murdering and kidnapping."

"Go." Gideon ordered her and she left quickly.

"Garcia." Morgan answered the call after one ring.

"Wow, the rumors weren't kidding that chick Lia Snow and our Novilene Cruz thinks the same thing." Garcia commented.

"Did you find out about Mrs Canardo?" Elle asks her curiously and ignoring her comments about them.

"Yeah. When Amber was 15, she walked into a Tallahassee hospital, raped and beaten something awful. Doctors deduced she was being abused by her father and her brother. Eventually, they convinced her to go to the police but when she did, mom showed up and told them that Amber was lying." She explained and everyone was shocked of what they're hearing.

"She obviously did nothing to protect Amber from the abuse. She feels betrayed by her mother and now receives extreme sadistic pleasure in watching the same thing." Reid pointed out and lets out of breath. "Strange, in this case, the abused actually became the abuser."

"That doesn't happen a lot?" Garcia asks curiously.

"One in eight."

"She's using you just like the other men that Amber dated before." The BAU team stared at the screen. "Amber doesn't even care if you died or rot in jail because she can find someone else-"

"You're lying!" Canardo tried to strangle her but completely forgotten about him being strapped.

"She lied to you. Amber is using you as a tool." Lia showed her cold look. "If you still have humanity in you... answer this question, where is Tiffany Spears?" She asks lowly in a dangerous tone that makes everyone shiver down in fear.

"Cabin. She's in the cabin at Duvan County Woods." Canardo answered with a defeated look on his face.

Lia walked out of the interrogation and sighs in relief. She patted her fast beating heart to calm herself down.

"That was intense..." she muttered and patting her heart once again.

"YOU BITCH!" Lia jumped and immediately run where the screaming coming from.

Novilene dodges the knife and got grazed on her right shoulders. She grips Mrs Canardo's wrist tightly to let go of the knife then twisting her two wrists to handcuffed her. She huffs and ignoring the pain by her small wound.

"Do you really think, you could get away by your acting, Mrs Canardo?" Novilene asks coldly towards the blonde woman. "You almost fooled us by your innocent act. You won't get away with this, Canardo."

"Novilene!" Lia and the others barge in to see a blood stain on her right shoulder. "Are you alright?" Gideon asks her daughter worriedly and allowing the Police officers to take her.

"She will never be the same!" Mrs Canardo screams and trying to free herself from their grasp to kill the young woman. "That whore deserves to be killed same as for you."

"Sweetheart, you should never threaten me." Novilene spoke up in a cold tone and Reid looked surprised at her deathly look like a killer. "You should be ashamed of yourself for committing crimes, officers, take her away."

"Yes, ma'am." They take away the blonde woman away from Novilene before she's going to kill her without a second thought.

Novilene removed her white blazer to see her wounded right shoulder. Reid immediately went on her side to examine it. "We should treat that, it's not deep." He spoke to her softly.

"Thanks." Novilene whispered and thanking her boyfriend.

They finally find the two Unsubs who killed the 7 girls in 3 years.

She's The One

"Care to tell me aside from Amber being the dominant one, how did you know about it?" Morgan asks them curiously.

"I'll let Lia answered it for you, Der" Novilene answered and snuggling his boyfriend which he doesn't mind and hugging her gently.

"She was surprised to see us and hiding her hatred towards me." Lia answered and staring at them. "I also overheard her that whore deserves to be killed. When I was about to look for some clues to help us find where Tiffany Spears is."

"Lia and I put two together that she's the dominant one. The victims marking are feminine not males." She explained. "We looked through the pictures clearly in case we missed out."

"We did and find out that it was Mrs Canardo who killed the women. Right after he raped them." They earned a surprised look to Novilene's team.

"Are you girls aren't twins?" Morgan breaks the silence and earned blushes from the two women. "You two finish each other's sentence, which is cute."

"We do it often." Lia commented and laughs nervously. "How's your injury, Nov?"

"It's not deep, just graze." She rotates her right shoulder. "Why, did you join NCIS instead of FBI?" Novilene asks her curiously.

"To be honest? I didn't even know why I'm joining it in the first place." Lia answered and everyone stared at her curiously. "I've been working FBI in the Philippines for 5 years. Now here I am, working abroad."

"What is NCIS to you?"

"Full of challenge and mysterious to unsolve the problem. The whole team is like a family to me and I feel like belong to them." She smiled and staring at the window.

"Interesting..." She hums in amused and closing her eyes to have a light nap. "Wake me up."

Lia shakes her head at Novilene's stunt she pulled. She couldn't blame the young woman since Novilene controlled her temper very well. The Filipino woman wanting to get some answers what really happen of Maria's death and she didn't believe Novilene. Maria died in a car accident but there is more than that behind the story. Yes, Novilene is a secretive woman. Lia didn't even know what are her flashbacks. She hopes that Novilene is going to open her up soon.

She's The One

"Thank you for helping us, Lia." Gideon thanked Lia and she smiled at him.

"You're always welcome-"

"LIA!" She turned around to see Tony is rushing towards her and examining her. "Where did you get hurt? Is it serious-"

"It was me." Novilene spoke up and raising her right arm lightly. "I'm the one who got grazed by my right shoulder, not Lia."

"Bu-but, I-I thought..." Tony stuttered and Lia stared at him blankly while he's holding her.

"If you could just finish my sentence, before you jump into conclusion, DiNozzo." A man in his early 50's approached them and Novilene immediately knows, who he is. "It was her friend, who got wounded not Lia."

"Thank you for worrying about well-being, I'm perfectly fine." Lia assured Tony and pulling herself away from him. "Jethro, these are Agent Jason Gideon and his daughter, Agent Novilene Cruz. Tito (Uncle) and Novilene, this is Jethro Gibbs my Unit Chief."

"Pleasure to meet you, both." Gibbs shakes their hands. "You feeling better, Cruz?" He asks her curiously.

"Yeah, Lia is completely unharmed." She smiled at him politely. "You're in good hands, Lia."

"She is." Tony assured Lia's friend. "I'm glad to see you standing, not laying on the bed." Which earned him a smack from Gibbs.

"DiNozzo!" Gibbs scolded him and he laughs nervously.

"My bad." Completely forgetting that Novilene is standing right next to her father. "You married?" Another smack from Gibbs once again on the head.

"No." Novilene giggled and is amusing of his childish behavior. "I'm carrying my mom's maiden name. Unfortunately, I'm in a relationship."

"Can you-"

"That's enough, Tony." Lia stopped her Italian man. "Sorry about him, he can be..."

"Charming, gentleman and wanting to be with her so badly." Tony boasted and she sighs heavily.

"A huge ego and fell in love of Jethro's famous slap." She said bluntly and Tony slumped in shoulders.

Gideon smirked and knowing this man is head over heels of Novilene's friend, Lia. He knows that Lia is one of the popular girls back in her education days together with Novilene and Phoebe.

"We should probably get going now, we have a report to finish." Novilene announces and stared at Lia. "I-"

"Don't." Lia cuts her off and already know what she's going to say. "I'm not going anywhere. See you?"

"See you." She nodded her head.

The three NCIS Agents left them alone. Novilene couldn't believe Lia is more sharper than before and even met Jethro Gibbs in person.

"She is more sharper than before." Novilene commented and stared at her father. "It seems like I completely underestimated her."

"You shut her off for what? 2 or 3 years?" He asks his daughter curiously. "Lia deserves to know-"

"The less people know about me, the better." She cuts him off. "It's for the best."

"I hope you know what you're doing, Mulan."

Novilene just remained silent. She hopes that someday Lia will forgive her for keeping this secret. She couldn't risk her getting involved with her problems and this is her only burden, to carry it and no one else does.
