"You okay?" A soft feminine tone asks the young woman worriedly seeing her closing off her emotions again.

"Let's just focus on the task at hand, Phoebe." Novilene ignored her and stared at the windows with deep thoughts. "I need to see what he gave me." Standing up to grab her laptop and the memory card.

"Nov..." Phoebe sighs heavily and glancing at the red-haired woman. "She's doing it again."

"I know," Noelle agreed with her and frowned slightly. "Novilene will come around."

"Maybe I should've call Lia and ask her to know what Novilene is thinking right now..." She bits her lower lip lightly and sighs heavily. "Who am I kidding? I can't say to Lia, that hey, guess what? Zack's alive and our friend, Lindsey was killed in action because of our job."

"Lia?" She stared at her curiously and it clicks her. "Lia Snow? One of your friends that attended your wedding day?"

"Yeah her, she's the opposite to Novilene..." Phoebe smiled and remembering the woman who's been there for them often. "I'm sure she's busy and I'll leave her a message."

"What is her work?"

"She's an Agent from NCIS. Her work is a bit close where Novilene's work is." Phoebe answered and showed her the picture of the woman wrapping her arms around the girl with a smile on their faces.

"She transferred her work from the Philippines because she helped one of Steve's friend, Kate Todd of their cases." Phoebe smiled sadly and remembering how she takes the bad news from her husband and Lia about her.

"She must be special then..."

"You have no idea."

She's The One

Novilene pressed the play button of the video. She sees Zack's face on her screen as he clearing his throat.

"My sweet Serenity... you have no idea how much I wanted to see you again." He smiled sadly while Novilene is controlling her emotions. "The biggest regret I've ever had is to let you go while I'm battling them by myself. I bet you're wondering why I know who you're dating with."

"Damn right I am." She muttered and wiping her tears off her face.

"I've been watching you all the time to see if you're safe or not. However, it seems like you don't need me or anyone to protect you." He chuckled sadly and frowned. "It kills me to see you in that state and was relieved that you moved forward."

Zack sighs heavily and rubbing his face. "Owen Davian, he's one of the manipulative man. If anyone tries to cross him, he's going to kill anyone who gets in his way. I didn't know he kidnapped one of your friends and I'm sorry for not saving her on time." He closes his eyes and regrets it for not getting involved of torturing Farris just to save her. "He ordered me to guard him and I tried so hard not to get suspicious in front of him. Davian is not an easy opponent and for him... this is like a chess."

Novilene frowned the idea of Davian using his men as a pawn just to get what he wanted. Zack made it this far to be work alongside Davian for 3 years. The question remains inside of her head, how long will it last of being undercover Agent?

"I also found something before your friend got kidnapped. You guys have a mole inside of the IMF." Zack shows grim expression. "I don't know who but it's a he. He's going to eliminate each one of the IMF Agents who stands in his way and trying to take over."

"Ethan and the others are already found it when Lindsey send a video on them..." She frowned and grasping the fact they have been compromised especially Davian kidnapped Julia.

"I'm trying my best to protect you and the others, Serenity..." Novilene closes her eyes and sighs heavily. "Whatever Davian is trying, I'm going to help you guys. However, you're the only one who could figure it out about me."

"I'm going to save you, Zack." She vowed and not wanting to lose him again. Novilene might in a relationship to someone else but Zack will always be her friend.

"No matter what happens, be careful of who you trust." Zack ended the video.

"Nov?" Ethan opened the door to see Novilene is in deep thoughts. "It's time."

"Yeah." She closes the laptop and slapping her cheek lightly.

"You okay?" He asks worriedly.

"Zack is trying his best to protect someone whoever holds them that is close to us." Novilene informed his stepbrother. "I'm the only person who could understand what his intentions are."

"I'm quite surprised that he's been doing undercover for a long time." He hugged his stepsister. "After they kidnapped Julia, I'm more terrified about your well-being."

"We both know the risks and we're going to bring Jules home." She assured him.

"I love you so much, sis."

"I love you too my reckless daredevil brother of mine."

Novilene is pretending herself as one of the guards to look after the Rabbits Foot. None of them including her brother believe that she got few contacts to pull her in this dangerous situation.

"I've got the Rabbits Foot, but I can't make it on the roof." She could hear Ethan's voice through her earpiece.

"Where are you?" Novilene whispered lowly and nodding the guards who passed her by.

"Save me, Silent."

She throws the dagger in each guard who tried to kill Ethan. Novilene cursed seeing the parachute is not working and decided to dive in.

"Are you out of your god damn mind!?" Noelle yelled angrily through the earpiece causing them to cringed at her sudden loudness.

"Gotcha!" Novilene caught him then they screamed each other.

Crash!

Both of them groaned that they got to crash in the office. Ethan grabbed the Rabbit's Foot as they stared at each other not knowing the janitor looked shocked to see them. The parachute got blown again causing the step-siblings hugging each other.

"AHH!"

The parachute got rip and Novilene clings onto Ethan thinking they might crash by a van. Ethan unattached himself the parachute and slapping Novilene's shoulder to come to her senses back.

"We need to grab it now before we lost it." He pointed the Rabbits Foot's rolls away from their grasp.

"You owe me a vacation from going to Hawaii, E." She grumbled under her breath.

Novilene and Ethan are chasing the Rabbits Foot while dodging every vehicle that almost gets them crash. The young woman dived and held the Rabbits Foot then rolling herself away from the car. She raises her hand to stop another car.

"Ethan! Novilene! Get in! They're coming!" Ethan and Novilene heard a familiar voice.

"Who?" Ethan asks and helped his stepsister up.

"Have you become a dumb, E?" Novilene asks with a disbelief look on her face. "The building security and they're pissed that we took the Rabbits Foot and assuming that I betrayed them." She got inside and received a whack from the red-haired Russian.

"Okay. Go, go, go!" Novilene groaned at the sudden heaviness. "My gosh, Ethan... how much have you eaten?"

"A lot." Ethan glances at Novilene sending him apologetic look since they don't have enough space for him.

"How much time you got left?" Declan changed the subject as he drives faster.

"Less than two minutes." He tried to call someone but it went beep. "You gotta get us out of here. I lost the signal."

Bang!

Bang!

Both women dodge the bullets. As they readied their guns to shoot them back.

"You okay?" Ethan asks them worriedly.

"Not yet." Zhen answered as they started shooting.

"I lost the signal." Novilene was sweating a lot but enduring the heaviness on her lap.

"I'm on it. I'm on it. I'm on it!" Declan yelled as he droves faster.

"Ah!" Zhen slumped down and got wounded on her shoulders.

"Zhen!" Noelle move her shirt lower to see she got shot on her left shoulders.

"I'm sorry." She winces in pain.

"Novilene, stop them." Ethan ordered Novilene.

"Move your ass." Novilene spoke up as she moves back to the backseat. She opened the door and lowering herself to shoot the tires to stop them.

Novilene shoot them right through their wheels as they got flat tires. Noelle pulled the young woman up and patted her shoulder.

"Thanks again for helping me." Ethan thanked his team especially Novilene who wanted out of this job so badly.

"Ethan..." Luther stared at his old friend worriedly. "You know they probably plan to kill you both."

"There could be a chance that Zack could be killed as well for being a mole in their group." Novilene pointed out.

"Zack is a man of his words despite I hate him for dating you back then..." Ethan commented and Novilene wasn't surprised by his opinion for Zack.

"That's true." She smiled sadly and worried about Ethan and his wife. "We could help you rather than they killed you."

"Novilene, come here." Novilene cried and hugging Ethan tightly. "I'm one of the luckiest men to have you as my sister and Alex as my brother. You're the responsible to look after our Alex."

"Ethan..." She cried more and felt the lips on her temple.

"Guys, look after my sister for me?" He asks them knowing everyone thinks of Novilene as their own sister.

"We will." Noelle spoke up and hugging the man she owed her life to him.
