Novilene was busy reading their new case before meeting up with her team. She's inside of a hospital office that one of the Doctors provided for her to have her own office. Strauss asked a favor from Novilene that she's going to help Cynthia Dales, Chief of Surgery, wanted Novilene to helped her teach the interns about their works as a Paediatrician Doctors. Cynthia knew Novilene because she was the young girl's mentor before and Novilene won't mind helping her former mentor, especially what Cynthia has done a lot of her from her past.

Novilene looked up seeing a shadow outside of her door. "Lenny? It's me, Spencer, may I come in?" Novilene smiled and opened the door to let him come in.

"Hey, I didn't expect you to come and get me." She smiled when Reid gave her a cup of milk tea that she always drinks all the time and rarely drinks black coffee. "How's life treating you?"

"It's actually a bit strange without you in the BAU." Reid answered truthfully since she always says sarcasm remarks towards Morgan that he often to annoy her. He also hated the idea of Novilene often to work at the Virginia Hospital to help her former mentor, teaching the new interns about their work as a Paediatrician Doctor. She has been requested by Strauss and none of the team including Gideon could reject the proposal of Novilene worked with the hospital often. "How long will Dr Dales no longer need you?"

"Hmm..." Novilene sips her milk tea and sighs in contented which he smiled seeing her relax expression. "Once Dr Dales can saw that they could do their job properly, that is the time that she wanted me to go back with you guys."

"You really are a busy person, Lenny." Novilene couldn't help but agreed with him that she always been a busy person that wanted to get her job done. "You can always stop this job and I'm sure Dr Dales could understand you."

"I will if it pressures me a lot." Novilene assured Reid and he noticed that she let her hair down which she rarely do it. "What is it?"

"It really suits you letting your hair down, Lenny." She blushed and smiled shyly which he returned a gentle smile. "It started to get long now and the color of your hair is going to fade soon."

"Hmm..." Novilene examined her hair that it started to get back her original black hair color. "It is and I'll color it back soon."

"I prefer your hair to be black." Reid played with her soft hair and couldn't help but lean into him. "Please? I wanted to see your natural hair color."

"I'm actually immune to that puppy look, Spen." Reid couldn't help but pout that he couldn't convince her to revert her original color back. "Not happen-"

"I'll treat you melon breads." He blurted out and remembering how she's addicted eating the melon bread.

"I officially loathe you and regret telling you my favorite food." She groaned and Reid didn't believe in her for hating him. He did prefer that her hair suits black than any dyed color. "You're killing me, Spen."

"Please? For me?" Novilene sighs in defeat and giving him a chaste kiss which caused him off guard.

"Fine, I'll do it on my day off." Reid smiled and hugging his girlfriend. "Our case happened to be a married couple, huh?"

"Yeah, have you ever done it before?" Reid asks curiously and Novilene hums and shaking her head.

"I didn't and most of the job that I've done before is usually single status not married status." They pulled away from each other and she hums in deep thought whereas Reid is already used to her thinking habits. "Sarah Jean and Jacob Dawes... this will be our first married couple case to be solved soon."

"Sarah Jean Dawes and Jacob Dawes... butchered, what, 12 girls?" JJ asks and Novilene frowned while she's reading the file without her glasses on.

Novilene is riding the car together with her father, Morgan and JJ while Hotch, Reid, Elle and Garcia ride a different car.

"13 counting the girl that was just found." Novilene answered and flipping the pictured of a skull. "Hilary Dickson disappeared 15 years ago. Buried her under Sarah's mother living room."

"You think that was their last victim?" JJ stared at the young woman and she shrugged having no clue about it.

"That's what we're here to find out." Gideon spoke up and glancing at Novilene that she's reading the files all over again. "Sarah Jean Dawes." He saw the picture of a married couple looked happy.

"Media called her the Ice Queen." JJ spoke up and Novilene wasn't surprised if some people gave them a nickname like her as a Demon Captain back in the United Kingdom.

"That's how they interpreted her demeanor during the trial." Gideon handed the picture of Novilene to let her see and examine them.

"You see different?" Morgan asks the senior Agent.

"No. I didn't say that."

"She killed her 2-year-old son and 12 teenage girls." Novilene flinches when JJ told them and frowned why would the mother kill her own son and the 12 innocent girls.

"She only confessed to the murder of her son, Riley."

"Well, she hasn't co-operated with any request to interview her."

"Well, if she doesn't talk now, she's going to take that story with her to old sparky." Morgan noticed Novilene's unusual silent. "Hey, you alright, mini Gideon?"

"Eh?" She blinks her eyes and noticed her father and JJ are worried about her. "Yeah, I'm just wondering why the mother could be so cruel to kill her own child." Novilene mentally sighs and have a feeling that this blonde woman, Sarah Jean is hiding something from them.

|| Florida State Penitentiary, Central Florida ||

The whole BAU team noticed that a lot of Protestants are blocking their way. "Here it is." Morgan pointed out and the guards allow them to get through.

"They call themselves the women of Jacob." Gideon spoke up and staring at them. "Try to look like his victims."

"Creepy." JJ commented and Novilene nodded her head in agreement.

"There's only 12 of them... should we tell them they're one short?" Novilene questioned Gideon as she puts her glasses on.

"At least and I think we'll find Hilary Dickson was by no means Jacob's last victim."

|| Command Center, Florida State Penitentiary ||

The guards provided them a room as Garcia put a countdown to show her team what they got left. Novilene hopes and prays that they could find the child before the married couple is dead in an electric chair that is used for the death penalty.

"In 1985, there was a string of missing girls reported in Northern Florida. Police subsequently got an anonymous call from a woman claiming to have seen Jacob with some of the girls." Morgan gave them a brief of what he understands about the unsub.

"Did they ever find out who the anonymous woman was?" JJ asks Morgan curiously.

"No." Reid answered and noticing Novilene's mind is somewhere else but barely listens to anyone.

"Police interviews Jacob Dawes also present were Sarah Jean Dawes and their 2-year-old son, Riley. Polices were suspicious that they came back 3 hours later with a search warrant. Only to find that Riley had vanished that they also eventually found the dismembered bodies of 12 missing girls. Buried in the ground underneath Jacob's workshop." Hotch explained and glancing Novilene that it is her time to speak up.

"Fearing the Police were on to them," Novilene pretend that she hears them but her mind is somewhere thinking about Sarah Jean. "Jacob figured Riley would slow them down so he ordered Sarah Jean to kill him and dispose of the body."

"Sarah confessed to killing Riley, but never admitted her role in the deaths of the girls." Gideon pointed out and have an idea why his daughter is thinking about Sarah Jean kill her own son, Riley.

"She never denied it, either." Elle pointed out and shrugged.

"Well, according to Jacob, Sarah Jean was fully complicit in the targeting, abduction and murder of all 12 and, well, now, 13 victims." Morgan spoke up and staring at Novilene worriedly.

"Prison records show that Jacob is a sexual psychopath. They were inconclusive on Sarah Jean." Reid pointed out and glancing at everyone. "They said her demeanor was more like that of a war victim's."

"And as with all sexual psychopaths, Jacob is obsessed with the idea of the total possession of his victims." Novilene spoke up and pushing her glasses up. "He's shown no remorse or guilt."

"Jacob saw Sarah Jean as a possession." Gideon pointed out. "Something to control... to dominate."

"Just so we're clear, they've agreed to these interviews?" The man with glasses asks the FBI Agents.

"Yes, sir."

"I'm sorry. Who are you exactly?" Elle ask the man who stands right next to her.

"I'm Sam Shapiro. I'm their appeals attorney." The man introduced himself to them.

"Not only have they agreed to them," Hotch flipped over the papers. "They were initially requested by them."

Shapiro grabs the paper and frowned when he reads it. "Yeah. I can't get them a stay of execution."

"Garcia, remember 75 percent of all communication..." Gideon asks their computer analyst.

"Is nonverbal." Garcia answered and knows what she's doing.

"Hotch, interview Jacob. Morgan, Elle, Reid..."

"I'm not gonna get anything new, but..." Hotch hated the idea of asking the man by himself.

"Find a new way to ask. 696 Hennesy Street, Jacob and Sarah Jean's home. It's due for demolition. Take a look around."

"Okay." Elle, Morgan and Reid left.

"Novilene, you're with me." Novilene stared at her father knowing she's going to speak with this Sarah Jean now.

Novilene nodded her head and focusing her mind that they need to seek their answers what they're looking for.

"The guards call this dead man's alley." Warden Charles Diehl, spoke up as the guards opened the gate for them that allows them to get in.

"Has she had any contact with Jacob?" Novilene asks curiously.

"Until today, she's declined contact with anyone for her own safety, we keep her away from the other prisoners. The hate for this woman is as fresh today as it was 15 years ago." Diehl answered her question. "Open on 4!" He ordered the guard.

They saw Sarah Jean is facing towards the painting that she drew herself and Gideon started to speak up. "Accomplished work."

"I've had plenty of time." Sarah Jean spoke up as her voice low in a husky tone and facing them. "What is it you want to know?" She noticed the man who stands next to him is a young woman in her 20's that has similar eyes to him.

"I think it's time the mothers of those girls learn why their children had to die." Novilene spoke up in a soft tone and noticing Sarah Jean's blue eyes are shown pain and sadness. She knew that Sarah Jean is innocent and seeing her in person despite this blonde woman not telling them the whole truth.

Gideon noticed the way Sarah Jean has a soft spot towards his daughter and not a fool that she knew Novilene is his daughter. Diehl takes them somewhere to talk.

Novilene and Gideon are taking Sarah Jean somewhere where they could talk about the murders. Sarah Jean couldn't help but noticed that this young woman is an FBI Agent and there's no doubt that this older man standing beside her is the father.

"What is your name, young lady?" She asks in a soft tone and Novilene smiled politely at her.

"I'm Novilene Cruz, ma'am." She answered politely and pushing her glasses up.

"No need for being so formal, Novilene." Sarah Jean chuckled and Novilene laughs sheepishly. "How did you became an FBI?"

"I became the first young female Pediatrician Doctor when I was 14 years old." Novilene smiled in embarrassed seeing Sarah Jean's shocked expression. "I quit and became a Detective until I got promoted to London Metropolitan Police for 3 years... I resigned again and joined the FBI."

"Wow, a former Doctor and so young. How old are you? 18?" She smiled and proud of what would a mother do hearing their child achievements.

"Close but I'm 22 years old." She rubbed her neck nervously and blushed seeing Sarah Jean's proud look despite meeting her today.

"Wow, your mother must be very proud."

"Sarah Jean! Sarah Jean!" They froze hearing the man and Novilene's shyness immediately turned into blank look seeing the man who drags Sarah Jean into this mess. The blonde woman turned around with a blank expression staring at her sexual psychopath husband. "You look so fine, babycakes. This was meant to be. Our names will live forever."

"Let's go." Hotch ordered the guards to drag Jacob away from them.

"It's a beautiful thing." Novilene mentally disgusted at his crazy fantasy and couldn't help but be staring at Sarah Jean in a worried expression.

Sarah Jean turned around to face at Gideon in accusation. "You designed that to happen." Gideon stared at her blankly and Novilene debated whether to intervene or not. "Did you learn anything, Agent?" She referred to Gideon, not Novilene.

The three of them seated together as they started to interrogate the blonde woman. "And what did you see in Jacob?" Gideon questioned Sarah Jean.

"Freedom." Sarah Jean answered and Novilene could tell that she's not lying but there's something meaning behind that.

"Kalayaan para saan? (Freedom from what?)" Novilene blurted out in Filipino out in a habit when she's thinking too much. In return, Sarah Jean stared at her in confusion, wondering what it means while Gideon gave his daughter a look. "Sorry... freedom from what?" The young woman noticed seeing Gideon giving one minute finger knowing they get something.

"We're at the mother's house." Both father-daughter heard Elle's voice through their earpiece. "She gave me a letter I want to read you." Elle, Reid and Morgan found something interesting.

"Read the letter, Elle." Gideon commanded her and Sarah Jean looked confused.

"Mom, I know how... difficult this must be." Gideon recited of what Elle is saying. "Things between us were never what they should be, between a mother and a daughter."

"That is a private letter." Sarah Jean found out what the letter means as she stands up.

"I want you to know that the best part of me. the most important part of me... is now in a better place. Than you or I will ever be."

"Stop it!" She took off his earpiece and didn't even noticed that Novilene has one as well.

"I am responsible for... the willful deaths of those girls." Novilene continued it and backflip before Sarah Jean could take it off from her as well. "By neglecting my duty as a woman and as a mother." Gideon stopped Sarah Jean when she tried to fight her off. He knew that Novilene is master of mixed martial arts and has great flexibility seeing she could backflip on a chair.

"Stop it!" Sarah Jean tried to stop the young woman.

"Take it easy. Take it easy." Gideon stopped Sarah Jean and reassuring the policewoman that he can manage it. The blonde woman crumbled and weeping that Novilene stared at her in pain seeing Sarah Jean is a bit like her. She failed to save her boyfriend and mother. "You neglected your duty? That doesn't make you responsible. You didn't kill those girls." He and Novilene already figuring it out that Sarah Jean is really innocent for not killing the girls. "Why didn't you say this in court?"

"I knew he brought women back to his workshop." She sniffs and telling them.

"That's a long way from knowing he was killing them." Novilene commented and clenching her chest seeing Sarah Jean broken for not saving them.

"They died as a result of my neglect."

"This letter suggests to me... that an innocent woman is about to be executed for a crime she did not commit." Gideon pointed out and Sarah Jean stared at his dark brown eyes.

"Can Novilene stay with me for a minute?" She stared at Novilene who looks curiously at her sudden request.

"Go on without me, dad. I'll be fine." Novilene assuring her father knowing he's a bit hesitant leaving her alone with Sarah Jean.

Novilene couldn't help but admiring all the paintings when she stroke it gently. "Wow, I may have the Bachelor of Arts and it never ceases to amaze me watching the painting." It was a painting of a child running in the fields.

"You know a lot of paintings, aren't you?" Sarah Jean asks and smiled in amusing seeing Novilene awestruck like a child. "I'm sorry when I was about to take off your earphones."

Novilene smiled and nodded her head in understanding. "If I was in your situation, I'll probably do the same thing."

"Whoever your mother is, she's lucky to have you." Sarah Jean patted the young girl's shoulder and Novilene smiled sadly.

"She was..." Her eyes lowered to the ground and Sarah Jean didn't mean to upset Novilene.

"I'm so, so, sorry... I didn't mean to upset you... how did she die?" The older blonde woman asked curiously and the young woman smiled sadly.

"I was been held up by a man and killed my mother right in front of me..." She closes her eyes and recalling the screaming and pleading towards the criminal not to kill Maria. "He's somewhere out there, hiding and waiting for me get killed soon."

Sarah Jean gasped and feel sympathy towards Novilene. Seeing their mother got killed right in front of their child could lead them to depressed or have revenge. There's more than behind the story why Novilene quit her job as a Pediatrician Doctor.

"Does your dad know?" Novilene shakes her head and knowing it would be best to hide this dark secret from them especially her father. "You have to-"

"I have to face this." Novilene cut her off and she smiled sadly at Sarah Jean. "I can't let him involve my problem and I also knew that he hides something from me as well." Sarah Jean nodded in understanding that herself and Novilene are quite the same keeping a secret from the others.

The gate opened to see Gideon walk towards them and sits right next to his daughter. "I'm sorry, you know breaking your ear thing." Sarah Jean apologize Gideon and he just smiles reassuring it's alright. "You have a lovely smile. That's where you get that smile from, Novilene."

Gideon smiled seeing Novilene smiled shyly with a blush on her cheeks. "Thank you."

"But you don't smile much like your daughter does."

"Do you?" Gideon asks the blonde woman back.

"What's your excuse?"

He saw Sarah Jean's cell is surrounded by paintings. "I took the liberty of watching these paintings." Gideon observes them closely while Novilene looked confused about his actions but decided to keep quiet. "Riley running free. The river. Falling positive energy maybe. Twelve roses. One for each girl Jacob killed. Twelve, not thirteen, we found number 13. You didn't know about her. You didn't really know about any of them."

"I never said I did."

Novilene frowned why Sarah Jean is lying and decided to speak up. "You confessed to killing Riley. Why would you lie about killing your own son?"

"I didn't." Sarah Jean answered at the young woman's question.

"Let's say if you did kill Riley, where's the body?"

"Do you have any other children besides Novilene, Agent?" She asks the older Agent.

"That's irrelevant." Gideon avoids the question and it gains Novilene suspicious about her father.

"Do you carry pictures of your children aside Novilene, Agent Gideon?"

"We are getting off point." Novilene mentally frowned but remained blank.

"Are we? How old would your son be now? 17? Imagine what he could have become and Jacob put an end to any chance of that."

"Does the strain of your work affect your marriage and that's why Novilene didn't carry your surname? But her mother instead or rather her new stepdad?" Novilene mentally flinched and Sarah Jean give the young woman a sympathy look.

"My daughter carrying her mother's maiden name and her mother was married someone else." It hurts him when they were divorced and blaming himself for not saving Maria in time. "Why would you still be protecting Jacob?"

"Did you divorce because of putting people like me away?"

"We think you're innocent." Novilene intervened before this could lead them to arguments. She knew her father still loved her mother and it pains her seeing Gideon thinking about her deceased ex-wife.

"We are all guilty of something." Sarah Jean spoke up that hits them with those words. Everyone feels guilty about something that they can't deny it. "But... it's our children who suffers for our sins, isn't it?"

"You'd have to ask him." Gideon answered and knowing Sarah Jean is right. His daughter did suffer a lot when she was a young girl and he didn't expect Novilene would make it this far to become an Agent. Novilene froze to hear she has another sibling who happens to be a man.

"How old is he?" The blonde woman asks the man and he smiled.

"Same age of Novilene they're triplets." Gideon decided to reveal it while Novilene stared at her father with a shock expression. "My other daughter, Angelique died when she was born right after Novilene."

Sarah Jean smiled and holding back her tears. "Do you have a picture of him?"

"In my office."

"You don't carry him with you? You let your daughter do the dangerous job and leave your other son somewhere safe, somewhere clean."

Gideon decided to change the subject knowing Novilene will ask questions seeing she's focusing the case than personal. "You killed Riley to protect him from Jacob?"

"I protect my son as you protect yours." She noticed Novilene didn't know she has another sibling which happened to be their triplets, not twins.

"Where's he buried?"

"All that matters is that he's safe."

"Where is he?"

"He's in a better place."

"The Chaplain's here to see you." The man informs the two Agents.

Novilene mentally sighs that they're so close getting the answers soon.

They're almost running out of time and Novilene barely focus on this case. She couldn't believe that her father, Jason Gideon hides this from her. She has a brother and it hurts her more that she doesn't know his name.

"Guys, the body's ID is coming through." Garcia informed them and it shows the picture of a young blonde teenage girl. "It's not Riley Dawes. It's Ashley Farley. She was 14 when she was killed."

Novilene frowned and crossing her arms. "Why would Jacob give us another victim?" Reid asks and noticed Novilene barely focus on this case. "He completely goes against his need for power manipulation and control."

"Taking the secret of an old victim to his grave satisfies that need." Gideon answered.

"Why give it up? I mean, what's the payoff?"

"Sarah Jean's the payoff. If he's going to be executed alone, he wants to drag Sarah Jean with him." Novilene answered and stared at her boyfriend. "Be the ultimate of control."

"Gideon and Cruz, guess who used to be Farley's house cleaner." Garcia called them.

Novilene silently gasped and couldn't believe what they found. She immediately went to Sarah Jean's cell as her father followed. The young woman saw Sarah Jean ate fast food.

"My last supper." Sarah Jean told them seeing the father-daughter duo. "Like some? Look! It came with a toy."

Novilene held back her tears and smiling slightly at her. "May we sit down?"

"Please." She allowed them.

"Ashley Farley." Gideon spoke up and stared at her blue eyes. "You cleaned her parents house. Remember?"

"Farley?" She asks in a whisper tone.

"We found her buried beneath the children's gazebo at another house Jacob renovated." Sarah Jean stands up and cried hearing the news. "He put her there."

Novilene stands up and it pains her seeing Sarah Jean in that state. "I might as well have brought along with that bastard." She engulfs the woman into her arms to comfort.

"Behind reeds, the river." Gideon stands up and points the painting. "This here, what is this? A basket? A painting is what, 10? Maybe more? Is that how you see him or how he is?"

Sarah Jean pull away giving Novilene a thankful look which she returned a smile. "I only have a few hours left. I'm respectfully asking you two to leave."

"Where is he? Where is Riley?"

"Please see Agent Gideon and Cruz out."

"Open 4." The prison open as Gideon leaves the prison first.

"I'll stay here, sir." Novilene spoke up and knowing Gideon has some clues to find where Sarah Jean son is. He nodded knowing she's going stay with Sarah Jean more before the execution starts.

Gideon left as Novilene slumped down on Sarah Jean's bed. The young woman sighs heavily and they're going to find out if she cried in front of the woman.

"I didn't know that I have a brother which happens to be we're triplets." Novilene spoke up and she noticed Sarah Jean is holding a blue teddy bear. "I don't even know if my mom knew about this or not."

"Your father is trying to protect you and your brother." Sarah Jean comforts the young woman. "He can't protect you two at once. think of it that the man who murdered your mom is somewhere out there waiting for you to get kill."

"I always thought that I'm the only child left." She sighs sadly and pushing her glasses up. "I have a full-blood brother not half brother."

"How many siblings you have?" She asks and thankful that Novilene didn't ask where her son is.

"I have an older stepbrother, name Ethan. When we met, he immediately likes me and treats me his own sister. I have a younger half-brother, his name is Alex." She smiled how Alex always following her. "Alex and I are always close to each other. Back when we were kids, he always looks upon me. That I am his role model."

"The moment I laid my eyes on you, Novilene." She caresses Novilene's head. "You're strong and fearless young woman who overcomes the hard obstacles."

"I'm not strong, Sarah... I'm always afraid and a reckless woman." Novilene told her fears. "I lose someone I love."

"They risk their lives to save you, child." Her blue eyes meets Novilene's dark brown eyes. "Don't let the fear take over you... remember that."

The door opened to see Warden watch them. "Let's go."

They stared at each other and nodded their heads. Following the man leading them outside of the prison.

"I thought it was against regulations." Sarah Jean spoke up still confused and still holding the blue teddy bear as Novilene agreed with her.

"Well, don't tell anybody." The man spoke up.

"It's cold." Sarah Jean smiled that she gets a chance to get out of prison before she's going to get executed.

"Here." Novilene removed her white blazer to reveal her lime green sleeveless. "You need it more than I do."

"It's fine, sweetheart." Sarah Jean assured her and Novilene sighs but holding it in case she needs it. "It makes me feel, you know... alive."

Sarah Jean gazes at the full moon and Novilene trying her best to hold back her tears. The young woman couldn't understand why she accepts the death to join with her sexual psychopath husband.

"How're your sons, Warden?" Sarah Jean asks the man.

"They're good." Warden answered with a smile.

"Good. Novilene, how old is your younger brother, Alex?"

"He's 16 and started College as a Freshmen." Novilene answered.

"Have you ever read him a story about the man in the moon?"

"I do." She smiled and remembered how Alex is always clinging to her instead of their parents.

"That no matter where we were, the man on the moon would be looking down on both of us." She stared at the moon and didn't notice Novilene's hands are shaking.

"We should get back." Warden informed them but mainly at Sarah Jean since it is almost time for execution.

"Sarah, if there is something you know that can save you..."

"Thank you for being with me, Novilene." Sarah Jean handed the blue teddy bear towards her. "I know that you're an adult now... I want you to have this-" Novilene engulfs her into her arms. "Novilene..."

"Salamat sa bear, Sarah (thanks for the bear, Sarah)" She couldn't hold back her tears anymore and pull away from the woman. "I'll cherish this."

"This has been wonderful your kindness to me, Warden and Novilene. I, thank you." Sarah Jean wipes Novilene's tear behind her glasses.

The woman walked away and Novilene silently sobbing while holding the bear tightly. It pains her seeing someone going to get executed for someone who is innocent doesn't commit a crime.

She's The One

Novilene making sure that her eyes are not red for crying to meet up with the others. Gideon glances behind Reid to see his daughter joining them now. He couldn't help but feel guilty for hiding a dark secret that she has a triplet brother instead of having a twin sister. Himself and Maria knew they have triplets no one else does. The reason why he keeps it because of his job. If Novilene is going to listen to the whole story, she might understand. Reid notices that Novilene is standing right next to him giving her a small smile which she returned the gesture.

"She cut around the photo so no one can read the text." Reid informed his mentor and Novilene. "He was 2 when he disappeared. This boy is 16 or 17." Garcia changed the next picture of a teenage boy.

"If he's Riley, it would mean it's a recent photo." Novilene pointed out and ignoring the looks why she holds a teddy bear.

"Once Jacob's dead, you think Sarah Jean would tell us if this is Riley?" JJ asks curiously.

"Sarah Jean..." Novilene clutches her teddy bear tightly and trying her best not to cry. "She won't tell us and already accepting her death." She spoke in a whisper but loud enough to hear them. Reid stared at Novilene with a sympathy look and it pains him to see her like a fragile woman.

"Only people allowed Sarah Jean to know were the family she cleaned for." Gideon spoke up that he came back from a short visit to Sarah Jean.

"Sarah Jean worked for wealthy families all over Hampton. Let's go all over the families in the state of Florida who were looking to adopt in 1990 and let's see how many lived in Hampton." Hotch explained to his team.

"Families looking to adopt, hundreds." Garcia answered when they got a hit.

"How many from Hampton?" Novilene asks the tech analyst.

"Uh... 3 families. The Jame's, the Coulfied's and the Sheffield's."

"Looks like the Sheffield's removed themselves from the list in October 1990 and then moved out to Hampton." JJ read the information through Garcia's computer screen.

"That's one month after Riley vanish where did they go?" Gideon asks curiously.

"Uh... Keystone Heights. We got a match on the photo. It was in the local daily news."

"Call Morgan and Elle, tell them to get to Sheffield's house." Hotch ordered his team as Novilene followed his father to meet up with Sarah Jean.

She's The One

"We found him. We found her son." Gideon informed Warden and Novilene nodded her head.

"Unless I received an official stay of execution from the governor. I'm duty bound to see this through." Warden explained the FBI.

"My son is dead, Agent Gideon." Sarah Jean lied and Novilene shakes her head.

"I have Agents on the way to his house as we speak and the governor is standing by." Gideon ignored Sarah Jean as he tried to persuade Warden stopping the execution.

"Why can you not accept the truth?"

"I can't. This isn't." Gideon shakes his head mentally. "Agents are within minutes of finding her son, alive."

"I am truly sorry, hold here." Warden had enough as he went inside of the room first.

Novilene stared at Sarah Jean filled with sadness. Sarah Jean doesn't deserve this to get execution yet she accepts death. How did the world have to be so cruel?

"What wouldn't you do for your son and daughter to give them a life you could never hope to dream of?" Sarah Jean asks the elder Agent knowing Novilene doesn't want to become an Agent in the first place. "I am at peace in the knowledge that my son is free to be whatever he chooses to be."

"If he knew who you were, do you think he'd choose to allow you to walk in there?"

"If he knew who his parents were, can you imagine the damage my legacy would leave him?"

"Can you imagine what he would feel? Knowing his mother spent 15 years on death row, innocent of all charges, just so he can be free of her?" Novilene asks this team despite ignoring the tears already shed.

"Not me, Jacob." Sarah Jean stared at the young woman with a sympathy look. "It isn't my life you have in your hands. It's Riley's life, too. Novilene..."

Novilene stared at Sarah Jean filled with sadness. "You have the chance to save my son's life... promise me that you're going to watch over him for me."

"Sarah... please don't do this..." Novilene grasping her hands tightly ignoring everyone seeing her tears. "I beg of you.."

"Gideon and Cruz, Riley's already at the house, what should we do?" Hotch asks them.

"I'm standing here because of choices I've made." Sarah Jean spoke up and caressing her soft cheeks. "Don't let my son be Jacob's last victim. Let me go, Novilene... let us both go."

Novilene cried more and decided to hug Sarah Jean one more time. Gideon decided to give Sarah Jean's wish.

"Tell Morgan... it's not her son. That we've made a mistake." Gideon informed his teammates.

"I'm always watching you and Riley, Novilene." Sarah Jean whispered in her ears. "We may spend a short amount of time... I already think of you as my own daughter, thank you."

Novilene pulled away and wiping her tears. "I think of you like my mother as well... I love you, Sarah Jean."

Sarah Jean cried hearing three words coming from Novilene's mouth despite they barely know each other, saying I love you is with feelings. The way Novilene convey her feelings are truly not pretending.

"I love you too, Novilene... take care of yourself. Would it be too much to see your face one more time, sweetie?" She gets herself inside of the room.

Novilene wiped her tears and went inside of the execution room. The young woman smiled while crying as Sarah Jean smiled at Novilene. Sarah Jean haven't met someone who has a heart of gold like Novilene. She's been through a hard life but Novilene never gives up. The blonde woman admired her courage and she would never change.
