Showcase practice session

Bambam's POV

"Yaaaas! We get to see them again!"

Got7 are closer to SunSic now. It's as if we are siblings. I could tell Jackson and Mark hold a torch for Sunny.

I used to like her but Jessica seems more like my taste.

Sunny's POV

I went on stage with the mic.

"Welcome to Star's Theater. I'm Sunny from SM entertainment. I'm speaking on behalf of my uncle, Lee Soo Man imnida. He has a very important meeting to attend to.

Can I just check if everyone's here?

BigHit Bangtan Boys and the rookies? Okay. JYP Got7 and its rookies? Here too. SM rookies are also here so let's start practice. Hwaiting!"

Everyone cheered each other as practice starts. I sat with Jessica. The rookies from our entertainment sat behind us. Taeyong, Johnny and Hansol (SR14B) went to the toilet. Me and Jessica are representatives from SNSD. The others are having a break, they need to rest.

First to perform was Bangtan Boys. Throughout the performance, i maintained eye contact with Jungkook, Jessica and V.

Sometimes I'll look at Jimin and he'd be staring at me.

Mark and Jackson keep making eye contact at me especially before their flip. Jessica was blushing because Bambam winked at her.

After our performance  I spoke to the idols.

"For the closing, we have decided to split you guys up into groups. The rookies will combine and split accordingly. Can I have Got7 and Bangtan Boys on stage please. The rookies please check the paper passed to you for information. Do settle down soon and get to know each other before practising."

Bangtan boys and Got7 sat on stage. Me and Jessica looked at the list given to us by my uncle.

Jessica started calling out the names

"From Bangtan Boys, V, Suga and J-Hope.

From Got7, Bambam,JB, JR and Youngjae.

You guys are in my team. Let's go to the other side of the stage."

After showcase practice...

Jimin's POV

We went home with Sunny and Jessica. Sunny sat in between me and Jungkook. Everyone went to sleep. I plugged in Taeyang's-Love You to Death. I felt weight on my shoulder. Sunny was resting her head on my shoulder, sleeping. I admired every detail of her face.

She's pretty even when she sleeps.

At home...

*Sunny's dreams*

Sunny yah~ It's me! Eric. Wake up jagi~ I'm back for you. We can be together again~

*back to reality*

Sunny was having a nightmare. We already reached and everyone was awake. Sunny's nightmare made her cry.

Jessica grabbed Sunny's face in her hands.

"Sunny? Sunny? Wake up Sunny. Wake up"

Sunny moved around "Eric. Eric"

Jessica sprinkled some plain water on Sunny. She woke up immediately and hugged Jessica.

"Shhh... It's okay now Sunny. What happened in your nightmare? What did Eric do?"

Jungkook asked "Who's Eric?"

Sunny shook her head at Jessica and ran into her room.

Sunny's POV

I'm starting to cough again. Her phone rang.

S:Yeoboseyo?

M: Sunny yah~ It's me Minhyuk.

S: Oppa! Why are you calling me?

M: I'm coming to Korea! I'm going to stay at your mansion.

S: bwoh?! Jinja!

M: Hm! I'm coming with your other oppas.

S: Really?

M: Yup! Kai, Xiumin and Baekhyun are coming. Your dongsaeng Sehun too!

S: Omg! Yay! Oppa I can't wait.

M:  Me too. See you soon! Bye!

S: Bye

I ran down to Bangtan Boys, trying to control my coughs.

"Um. Guys? You need to move out. My brothers are coming."

Jungkook's eyes widened "You have brothers? By when? Where are we going to stay?"

"Yes I have brothers. In 3 days time. Don't worry, I've got another house for you guys to stay at."

Jimin gulped "We can still visit you right?"

"Of course!"

3 days later...

Ding Dong~

"Oppa!"   "Sunny~"    "Jessica~"

Kai, Baekhyun,Xiumin and Minhyuk gave me and Jessica a group hug.

We sat in the living room while Jessica made us drinks. I coughed blood on my handkerchief.

"Oppas, my condition. I think it's worsening."

Baekhyun hugged me, "Its okay. We'll be here"

Kai : does Jessica know?

Sunny: Nope. I hid it from her.

Minhyuk: She needs to know

Sunny: Yes but not now

Xiumin: Let's just keep it a secret

Baekhyun: Anytime you need me, i'll be there. We will.

*smiles*

Jungkook's POV

I broke up with Kathy. I only got back with her because Sunny left me and I felt lonely.  Kathy went back to LA i think.

I heard about the new girl that was joining us for the showcase. She's a solo rookie from our entertainment.

Showcase training...

"Welcome to the group Lily. I'm Sunny. This is...and that's Jungkook. You can pick where you want to sit ex-"

Lily was already running to the sit beside me. Thats Sunny's seat...

" I see you've already had your choice. Let's start." Sunny sits in between Mark and Jackson.

Sunny's POV

Lily kept talking to Jungkook. Leaning closer and closer as she asks. Am I jealous? I took my handkerchief out of my pocket and walked off as I coughed.

Blood... I feel like I'm going to faint. Someone caught me before I hit the ground.

Jimin's POV

Mark walked off when Sunny walked away. I followed them, obviously annoyed by Lily's behaviour. Jungkook didn't even try to avoid her. I was walking behind them when Mark caught Sunny who fainted.

I ran to them "Sunny! Sunny wake up!"

Mark showed me her handkerchief " blood. She's been coughing blood."

"Mark,help me carry her. I'm going to dismiss the others and we can send her home."

Mark's POV

I carried Sunny to a row of chairs and laid her down. Sunny, are you sick? Her forehead was hot. She's having a fever. Jimin came back and told me to carry her to the car.

I carried her again. She's so light. Jimin knocked on the door as I carried her bridal style.

Baekhyun : "Sunny! Xiumin hyung! Kai-ssi! Help me here!"

Xiumin: Go home first. We'll text you if anything happens.

Sehun's POV

I heard hyungs screaming in alarm. I ran down when I say Sunny noona unconcious in Baekhyun's arms.

"SUNNY NOONA! Hyung! What happened to Sunny Noona? Is it her condition?!"

Kai : Calm down Sehun. Call Minhyuk hyung.

Sehun: okay okay.

Minhyuk's POV

"WHAT?! I'LL BE BACK!"

No no no! Sunny. Wait for me.

I opened the door and saw Sunny laid down on the couch.

M: Kai, Go take her medicine. Xiumin bring me the injection. Sehun bring me a bucket of cold water and a towel. Baekhyun help me out.

Sunny's POV

I slowly opened my eyes. I'm at home. But what happened? I felt a wet thing on my forehead. A towel obviously. I looked at my hand.Sehun was sleeping while holding it. I moved my hand and he woke up immediately.

"Sunny Noona! Gwenchana?!"

I looked at him and smiled. "I'm okay"

"Baekhyun hyung was the most worried about you. He wouldn't sleep. I had to force him to. *pouts* "

I pinched his cheeks, "Our Sehunnie is such a grown up now. Go and get ready for school. I want to go see Baekhyun"

Sehun hugs me and run upstairs to change. I went into Baekhyun's room. He was still sleeping.

"Oppa~  Ireonna(wake up) ~"

"Oh? Sunny! *hugs* you okay?

"I can walk all the way here . Of course I'm fine oppa."

"Go and rest. Dun forget to message Mark and Jimin. They brought you home. Mark was carrying you."

Mark's POV.

I paced back and forth as I waited for news from her brothers. Jackson couldn't sleep either.

"Hyung. Sunny texted me!"

To: Mark

Annyeong! Sunny imnida~ Nan gwenchana. (I'm okay) Thank you for bringing me back home. Don't worry.

From: Sunny Bunny

Glad to know she's okay. I'm so afraid that she wouldn't be but the blood?

Jimin's POV

Bangtan were asking me why we were dismissed early yesterday so I told them what happened to Sunny.

JK: What?! Sunny coughed blood and had fever?! How come I didn't know?!

*Jin sighs*

Jin: Weren't you too busy with Lily?

JK: Huh? Lily? What do you mean?

Rap Monster: Lily was obviously flirting with you and you didn't even try to avoid her. Nor did you take a look at Sunny. When she walked away , you didn't even notice!

'Tweet ringtone'

To: Jiminnie

Hi! Its me Sunny. I'm awake now. Thank you for taking me home. Please don't worry too much. I'm fine.

From: Sunny Bunny

I read the message a loud. If Sunny is fine, why was she coughing blood? Somethings definitely wrong.

Jessica's POV

Sunny woke me up. I was so glad she's awake. She must have been so exhausted that she fainted. At least that's what they told me.

I finished changing when I heard Sunny coughing and out of breath. I ran to her room and saw her clutching her shirt, telling me that it was difficult to breathe.

I ran back down where her brothers were.

"Sunny's coughing a lot and she can't breathe!"

They immediately ran to her room. Xiumin carried her down. Sehun and Baekhyun watched out for her. Minhyuk was in charge of driving. Kai's job was to explain and calm me down.

I was shocked. All this while, Sunny hid it from me so that I was not worried. Sunny yah, I'm more worried now. Please survive this.

"Jessica, please don't tell anyone else about this. Sunny wants it to be a secret."

"Okay then. Can I tell just two guys? They are very trustworthy. In fact, they were our mum and dad here before you guys came."

Kai hesitated, " Fine. Just make sure they keep it a secret too."

Jin's POV

To: Jin Umma

Annyeonghaseyo. Umma, please come to xxxx hospital. Come with Suga Appa. Only appa and don't tell anyone else.

From: Aegi (Baby) Sica

I started worrying. What could've happened.

V: What's wrong hyung? You look so worried.

Jin: Nothing. Suga follow me. We need to go now.

V: Can I follow?

JK: I want to follow too.

Jin: No. Only Suga.

Jackson's POV

We were walking around when I saw Sunny being carried into the hospital, followed by a worried Jessica. There were 5 boys with them.

I ran to follow them, leaving Got7 behind.

I followed them until the ICU ward.

"Jessica? What happened to Sunny? Who are they?"

"Jackson? Come with me."

Jessica brought me to the garden. We bumped into Jin and Suga at the entrance so they came with us too.

She sat down on the bench.

"Sunny has cancer." WHAT?! Cancer?

Jin and Suga had tears in their eyes. My tears started forming too.  Jin cleared his throat.

Jin "What stage is she at?"

Jessica was already crying.

"Stage 2. Please don't tell anyone else. Sunny wishes it to be a secret."

Suga hugged Jessica "Stay strong for Sunny. She will need you by her side. We promise we won't tell anyone."

I took a deep breath " Me too. Who were those guys though?"

Jessica wipes away her tears.

"Those are her brothers. Xiumin..... and the youngest is Sehun."

Showcase practice...

As usual, we were practising for the closing. I look at Sunny's empty seat and think of her. I wonder is she's awake at the hospital now. Minhyuk promised to call us the minute she wakes up. Jin looks dazed too.

I have gotten closer to Jin, Suga and Jessica. We were the only ones who knew. Jessica came over to our group.

"Sunny won't be able to come today. She has... personal reasons so pick a partner and rehearse."

Lily "Thats sad. Jungkook oppa can I be your partner? Please~"

Before Jungkook could even reply I spoke

"Of course you can. You're most important to him." I gave him a glare before walking to Jin.

We whispered to each other.

"Did Minhyuk text you yet?" Jin

"Nope."

Jin " *sighs* I'm so worried. She was so cheerful and all. Yet this happened to her."

Bambam's POV

Jackson hyung has been acting weird lately. Ever since that day when he ran off, he's been in his own world. He comes home late everyday. Hyung doesn't talk much lately. He's very close to Bangtan Boys Jin and Suga too.

The rest of Got7 noticed that. He's not himself. Everytime I ask him if he's okay, he changes the topic. Mark sensed it too.

Mark has tried contacting Sunny but she didn't pick up her phone. She didn't reply to his text messages either.

Jessica and Suga have been acting weird. They always pair up but they didn't practice and whispered to each other. They also kept checking their phones.

I asked Bangtan if they knew what's going on but they don't either. What is happening?

J-Hope's POV (yes, finally)

Now that Bambam mentioned it, I do realise how different their behaviours are.  I missed dancing with Sunny and talking to her. Where is she? She's been absent from practice for two days.

JB's POV

Jessica, Suga, Jin and Jackson are definitely hiding something. They are always together. According to Bangtan, Jin and Suga have been coming home late too. As the leader of Got7 , I'm worried about Jackson's performance. As his friend, I'm worried about him.

He hasn't been eating and sleeping well. He won't tell us why. Not even Mark or Bambam, the two closest to him, know why.
