Chry's Point of View

Nandito kaming lahat sa training chamber, located at the first floor of the castle. Nakatayo lamang kami sa kaniyang harapan habang pinapakinggan siya. "Today we will be having a training class for you to have a full control of your abilities," panimula ni Sir Michael. He is a centaur, a right hand man of Chiron. "Hindi natin alam kung kailan at ano'ng oras susugod ang mga kalaban."

Naging seryoso ang kaniyang ekspresyon sa mukha habang binabanggit niya ang mga katagang 'yon. He suddenly snapped his finger and just like that a class record appeared in front of him floating.

He then smiled while reading the record. Pagkatapos niyang basahin 'yon ay tinapunan niya kami ng tingin isa-isa.

"I want to see the old Anostatos battle in pairs," he said. "First pair are Chrysos, daughter of Zeus, and Violeta, daughter of Aphrodite," he announced the reason why it made me flash a smile upon my lips.

He once again snapped his finger, four coins appeared in his right palm. "This is called psevdis," sabi niya. "A coin will change into a ball device that can create an illusion when it is flipped. After flipping the coin, the device will float in mid-air across this chamber," he explained.

He made a quick glance to Fuego before proceeding.

"Psevdis is derived from Greek word which means false." Muli na naman siyang tumingin kay Fuego at ngumiti bago magpatuloy. "This device is made of Imperial Gold by Fuego," proud na proud pa niyang sabi.

What's the surprise? He's the son of Hephaestus after all. He had the ability of machine aptitude, and by that power he can understand, communicate, and sense machinery. That is why we concluded that he could do anything with his hands.

We all look to Fuego. Sa sobrang hanga ng iba ay napanganga pa sila ng kanilang mga bibig. Naglakad kami ni Violeta papunta sa sentro ng silid na 'to nang senyasan kami ni Sir Michael.

"No to powers or any ability because powers may be your weakness. In order to be a good hero, dapat kontrolado niyo ang kakayahang meron kayo," panimula niya. "What I mean is don't be abusive. I was quick to manipulate my scepter when those weapons turned into a wolves. Napatingin ako sa paligid. My jaw moved when I realized we are cornered. Napailing ako ng ulo at napagulong na lamang ako ng mata nang marinig kong nandidiri si Violeta sa mga lobo.

I gasped quick and alerted myself when two wolves charge at me. Habang ang mga pangil nito'y nakalabas dahilan para magtuluan ang kanilang mga laway. I made a quick glance at Violeta. Nakita kong apat ang sumugod sa kaniya. Then she balled her hands into fists in determination.

Bago pa man makalapit ang mga ito sa kaniya ay bumagsak ito sa lupa't nangingisay. Dahil sa pagiging pokus ko kay Violeta, bumagsak akong padapa nang biglang may isang wolf na lumukso mula sa aking likuran.

"Omg! Omg!" I heard Ace's reaction.

Kaagad na kinagat nito ang aking buhok dahilan para mapangiwi ako sa sakit. Hinawakan ko nang mahigpit ang scepter at walang pag-alinlangang sinaksak ang lobong nakadagan sa akin. Bumagsak kaagad ito sa sahig nang naliligo sa dugo.

My eyes went straight to where the others. Nakita kong kinalmot ng isang wolf si Violeta sa kanang braso niya. Her eyes turned into a light ocean blue. Anger and disgust was quick to plastered upon her face. I scoff.

Of course, a daughter of the goddess Aphrodite would be upset. They will be extremely dangerous if stained by dirt or any kind of things that might ruin the beauty they always preserve. Might be a cliché to others, but for Violeta or any children of Aphrodite is a big deal.

Dahil maging ang deity nila ay ganoon din.

"Die!" her upset voice echoed in the chamber.

My eyes grew wider when two wolves who attacked her were stunned. Moment or two, nabalutan kaagad ito ng yelo. Then the two wolves dissolve along with the ice. I saw Violeta smile in victory as she stared at all wolves who were now growling in anger.

Out of the corner of my eyes, I saw Fuego manipulate a pair of swords with silver blades. Dalawang lobo ang sumugod sa kaniya. The one on the left bite the blade, the reason he lost his one sword. Nang makalapit ang isa ay kaagad niya itong tinadyakan sa mukha.

It fell upon the floor whimpering in pain. The other one, who bit his blade, was about to claw him at the back. But Fuego is quick to sway his sword, aiming at the neck of the enemy. A smile impetuously plastered upon his lips when a number of wolves started to charge.

Nakita kong ikinumpas niya ang kaniyang kamay. There I saw a fire appeared on his palm. Ibinuwelo niya ang kaniyang braso't itinapon niya ang kaniyang apoy. A weaves of flame greeted the wolves. As the flame touched the enemy, the chamber suddenly echoed in explosion.

"Ang galing!" umalingawngaw na naman ang boses ni Ace.

Fuego flashed a smile. Itinaas pa niya ang kaniyang thumb finger. Sa kabilang banda, nakita ko si Zuki na gumulong pakaliwa nang makita niyang dadaganan na sana siya ng kalaban. Mabilis din ang kilos niyang binitawan ang palaso na kanina pa niya hawak-hawak.

The arrow went through to the wolf's forehead. Dahilan para bumagsak ito sa sahig nang duguan. He flipped himself backwards so he could prepare another arrow. When he landed, he quickly aimed his bow and arrow to the wolf who first came into his sight.

I was quick to cover my ear when Zuki make a powerful ultrasonic that temporarily stunned the enemies. Maging ang mga lobong nakalutang sa ere ay nagsibagsakan ito sa sahig. Zuki took the advantage and prepare his bow and arrow.

Sa sobrang bilis ng kaniyang palaso ay kalahati ng mga kalaban ay napatumba niya.

"Damn," I heard Blaze's comment.

The remaining wolves directly charge at Blei. I gasped when I saw a wolf ready to jump into her. When it jumped, a smile quickly plastered upon my lips. The wolf went through her. Water mimicry, of course. The ability to mimic using the water.

Any kind of blade won't harm her, it only went through her.

The wolves gathered in one place. It's as if they are a pack. But that was a wrong move for Blei. Dahil sumilay kaagad ang victorious smile sa kaniyang mga labi. Blei manipulated a giant water fist that followed and imitated the movement of her hand. She punched the wolves with her giant water fist.

"Damn sexy." I snorted when I heard Blaze's comment once again.

Bumaba na ako sa pagkakalutang at tumayo sa harapan nilang apat. Nabalik ako sa reyalidad nang bigla akong kagatin ng isang lobong bigla na lamang sumulpot. I threw him my scornful stares that made the thunder and lightning once again roared across the sky.

We heard a snap of a finger. And just like that, the wolves who are lying upon the floor bathing their own blood vanished. Nakita ko ring nagsilutangan ang apat na coins pabalik sa mga palad ni Sir Michael.

Then everyone rushed towards us, with a smile on their faces. I heard Violeta snorted in proud. Habang ako naman ay taas-noong nakatayo.

"Ang galing niyo," we heard Erin praised us.

Si Sir Michael naman ay napatango-tango sa sinabi niya. Habang hindi pa rin nawawala ang ngiti sa kaniyang mga labi.

"Oo nga! Ang galing!" batang tili pa ni Ace. "At saka ang cool din ni Chry doon sa taas," dagdag pa niya. Dahilan para mapatikhim ako sa sinabi niya.

And I couldn't stop myself but to flash a smile.

"Congrats," Nkri and Blaze congratulated us.

Habang sina Mavros at Dash naman ay nag-thumbs up lang. Si Heshiena naman ay tahimik sa tabi. I could trace fear on her face. Sa sobrang lalim ng kaniyang iniisip ay hindi na niya namamalayang sumilay ang mga emosyong hindi niya palaging pinapakita.

Our attention averted to Sir Michael when he clapped proudly.

"The five of you always impressed me," he said. "You all have the potential to be a great heroes." He glanced at the newcomers, "including the new Anostatos." Muli na naman siyang ngumiti. He then clasped twice. "All right, this is all for today. Bukas ang mga baguhan naman. Show me what you've got," he dismissed us.

When Sir Michael said those words, tila na-exciteako para bukas.
