Chry's Point of View

Napahawak ako nang mahigpit sa scepter na hawak-hawak ko. I was quick to gritted my teeth in anger when I saw Mario leading the enemies. Nakasakay pa siya sa chimera. His right hand were holding the chimera's goat head, while the other one were holding a celestial bronze.

His eyes were full of hatred.

Kapansin-pansin kung gaano niya gusto kaming patayin sa pamamaraan pa lang ng kaniyang titig. Sa likod niya ay ang mga giants, amphisbaena, at mga nakakarinding gagamba. The size of them is similar to the size of a car. When I closed my palms, a loud thunder bang across the red sky.

"Those are Arachne's offspring, aren't they?" rinig kong tanong ni Blei sa katabi niyang si Miss Aqua.

Miss Aqua hummed as a response.

In the time of ancient Greece, Arachne lived in a kingdom called Lydia. Tinatawag na ito ngayon bilang Turkey, at anak siya ng isang lower-class wool-dyer. Her father Idmon was a son of Asteria, the titaness of falling stars.

However, all praise Arachne received went to her head and she eventually became extremely arrogant and conceited, claiming that she owed no thanks to Athena, the very goddess who had invented weaving, for her talent and that the goddess could actually learn from her if she were to engage in a weaving contest with her.

Na-offend si Athena, pero nakapag-desisyon siya na bigyan ng pagkakataon na patunayan ang halaga ni Arachne. The goddess disguised herself, but she was quick to dropped them when Arachne offend the gods further.

Nagkaroon ng kompetisyon sa pagitan nilang dalawa.

Arachne didn't stop offending the gods, maging sa kaniyang tapestry. Dahil dito, ang galit na tinitimpi ni Athena ay sumabog. She started to beat her mercilessly.

Arachne knew that she would never be able to take pleasure in weaving, her only joy in life, ever again, and the townspeople she had tried to please had turned against her as well. Consumed by shame, hatred, and self-pity, Arachne made a rope and tried to hang herself.

She died.

Arachne's act of suicide caused Athena to take pity on her, and so the goddess transformed her into a spider, allowing her and her descendants to weave forever. However, from that very moment on, spiders shared a mutual hatred with Athena, and they also despised humans as Arachne was never able to forget her shame and anger at being ridiculed.

"Incoming!"

Mabilis akong nagmanipula ng kidlat sa aking mga palad at iniharap ito sa lupa nang makita kong paparating na sa akin ang malaking kamay ng higante. When the lightning hit the ground, my body lifted into the air.

I quickly summon my celestial bronze sword with my free hand. Celestial bronze is a type of metal wielded by the gods and us, their demigod children. This is mined by the cyclops from Mount Olympus.

The ore is shaped by tempering the metal in Mount Etna and cooling it in the River Lethe.

The metal is deadly to creatures of the magical world. Kaya majority sa amin may ganitong klaseng weapon. But demigods are also affected by it because of our blood. Celestial bronze weapons cannot harm mortals; they simply pass through their bodies as if they were made of smoke, because mortals are not worthy enough to be hurt by the weapon.

"You disgusting piece of shit."

I cussed to the spider in front of me and slide myself under her with hands holding the sword upward, cutting her abdomen open. The monster shriek in pain before dissolving into dust. Hingal na hingal akong tumayo at tumingin sa paligid.

Blei and Miss Aqua were fighting together. They are both facing to the opposite sides. Kahit na ano mang gawin ng mga kalaban na saktan sila ay walang mangyayari. Because they are both mimicking the water from their head to toe.

The enemies find it hard to defeat Erin as well because she always renders herself invisible.

She will first confuse them before initiating her attack. Feugo, on the other hand, throws all the traps under his sleeves to the enemies, leaving them falling upon the ground convulsing. It was then followed with his fire blasts.

Ace was holding a sword with his face forward.

The two children of Athena were still helping each other, fighting a giant.

They seem have a strategy when they defeated one effortlessly. Hindi na nakakagulat. I was quick to cover my ears when Zuki suddenly generated a painful ultrasonic. Lahat ay tila hindi makagalaw dahil sa sakit nito.

I saw him manipulate tons of orbs that are made of sunlight. Some of them were flickering. And it's understandable why. This kind of ability is somewhat lesser when the sun is out. Doon kasi siya kumukuha ng enerhiya.

But when it's dark, Mavros is much more powerful.

Before the giant could once again regain his energy, plant vines immediately crawls toward his hands and tied up to the ground. Napadapa pa ito nang pati buong katawan niya ay tinalian ng mga ugat na nakakonektado sa lupa.

I gasped for air and balled my palms into fists when I saw Mario in my peripheral vision. Tumatakbo siya papunta sa dorm namin. Nabigla ako nang magsitapunan kaming lahat. Hindi natuloy nina Dash at Zuki ang pagpatay sa higante. At muli itong tumayo.

I quickly understood what was happening when I saw ghosts everywhere. Of course, we can't fight them. Kaya kami ang talo laban sa kanila. Only Mavros can touch ghosts physically, and that bastard Mario.

At the same time when lightning lifted me up, I saw Zuki run towards Mavros as his darkness gathered under his feet. I use my remaining energy to summon a lightning bolt directly from the heavens and strike Mario with it.

"Don't be mad that I killed Violeta," I heard him commented. "We actually planned this together, and volunteer herself to be the sacrifice of our plan." Mabilis na nagtagis ang aking bagang. Sinundan niya pa ito ng nakaririndi niyang ngiti sa labi. "You don't know her that well, daughter of Zeus."

I get annoyed when mist gathered under the chimera's feet and transported himself from different places, dodging all my attacks. I felt the power surge in my veins as my eyes started to burn with rage. Narinig ko pa ang munting lagapak ng kidlat na lumabas sa mata ko.

"No one will hurt my family!" I bellowed as I finally let go the lightning to strike him once again. "I will burn every piece of you!" Muli kong sigaw at pinaulanan siya ng mga kidlat.

Dahil dito ay napatilapon siya nang tumama ang kidlat sa paanan ng chimera.

Before he could stand up, the three of us got him cornered. He regained his sight first before looking at us. Nang makita niya kami ay ngumiti siya. I couldn't believe that someone new could provoke a war and challenged the stability of our realm.

"You don't know what's coming," tila proud niyang sabi. "You can't win a war," he paused, "that it started a long time ago," he finally completed his sentence.

From the books, the former Anostatos consists of thirteen students. At ngayon ay apat nalang silang natira. Hindi rin inilathala sa libro kung bakit. A secret that Zeus prohibited them to recall it or mentioned it at least.

"You're a son of Melinoe, daughter of Hades and Persephone," I said when I saw the color of his eyes. "That is why you can summon ghosts," dagdag ko pa.

Napatingin ako kay Mavros. Napansin kong majority sa mga kalaban namin ngayon ay related sa underworld. There are Hecate's three daemons, and Chimera, Cerberus' sister. Napaisip ako nang malalim.

Is Hades turning his back against Olympus?

Nagulat na lamang ako nang biglang mawala si Mario. Mabilis na napa-shadow travel si Mavros para habulin siya papunta ng cabin. Sumunod kami pareho ni Zuki. But when we entered the gate, and Mario was about to open the door, an invisible force throw us back.

Nasira ang buong cabin. The atmosphere became heavier. A gravitational force pulled us all to the ground. Aggressive waves of the sea greeted our eyes. Sunod-sunod pa ang pagyanig ng lupa. Hindi ko alam kung ano'ng nangyayari.

Natuptop ko na lamang ang aking ibabang labi nang maiintindihan ko. She was floating in the air, facing with us all with her eyes closed. While her arms were opened, and her head was slightly looking up.

And apart of all, her presence is enormously terrifying.
