Blythe's POV

Just like every other normal day, Lexis went home on the bus and I went to the normal spot where Douglas would wait for me.

"Hi Douglas" I smiled at him but frowned when he quickly opened the door before I could.

"I told you to stop doing that" I frowned.

"But I get paid for it" he argued stubbornly. I glared at him

"Whatever" I muttered under my breath.

"So how was school today?". And that was it. I spilled everything that's been happening all these while...

"You wouldn't believe I got paired with rude boy in our literature project for this term" I stated annoyingly

" who is rude boy". He smirked at me.

" just some jerk of a classmate I have. He is so rude, arrogant, so full of himself...." I continued on and on while Douglas just laughed at me.

"What? It's not even funny"

"The last time you were so angry with a guy, you ended up falling for him".

Oh... My past

"I'm sorry" Douglas apologized quickly when he realized what he said.

"Well it's okay" I shrugged. "I'm over him."
"And trust me Douglas, nothing of such will happen this time" I said with so much determination.

"Well let's wait and see" he laughed and I hit his arm playfully.

" How is little maria?" Maria is his five year old daughter. His wife left him two years ago and left his daughter with him. Maria stays with his sister and her family.

"Very well. I visited her last week. She keeps on asking about you"

"You should bring her over sometime you know"

"I will" Just then we got home and I saw my dad's car in the compound and that could mean only one thing.... My parents are at home...yay

I ran happily into our house not minding that I didn't even remember to carry my bag.

"Dad, Mum" I shouted before I ran into their embrace one after the other.

"My princess" Dad kissed me in my hair, then my forehead

"We missed you baby" Came my mum's calm voice

"I missed you guys too" I stated happily. "I'm so happy you're here"

" well I prepared your favourite darling"

"Yes!" I threw my fist in the hair happily. " I love you mum" I went to the dinning table

"Well I love you too darling. But you need to take a shower first". I knew better not to argue with my mum. I quickly dashed upstairs into my bathroom and took a quick shower. I wore my favorite pink crop top, a gift from my aunt, aunt Florence and a short after which I joined my parents in the dinning room.

"So how is school darling?" My dad asked

"Well, I'm enjoying it better this time around dad"

"Why? Is there something we should know?" Mum teased

"Something like?"

" perhaps there's a guy" she continued teasing.
I rolled my eyes playfully at her and she just laughed together with dad. Those two... I wonder how they were while in their younger age.

"Any latest design?" Dad asked changing the topic

"None for now dad. I've been busy with school work"

"Take your time dear" He said with a smile and we ate the rest of our lunch in a comfortable silence.

I chatted with mum and dad for a while after lunch and I enjoyed every bit of it. It's been a while since I had the two of them with me like this. I told mum about slutty bitch and how I couldn't wait to surprise her on my birthday.

"OMG!!" Mum shrieked "we're gonna plan everything darling and I'd make sure to click a picture of her surprised face" I laughed hard... Mum, she seems more excited about it than I am.

"You should always respect people no matter who you are" I said and my dad looked at me with a smile full of pride.

"We're so proud of you princess"

"Thanks dad" I smiled at him

I woke up feeling somehow excited the following morning. I guess that was because my parents were around. I said my morning prayer and got into the bathroom to take my shower. Alicia already chose my outfit while I was in the bathroom.

"Thanks Alicia. And sorry I haven't had time for you this past week"

"I understand you're busy dear" she smiled at me showing her so white set if teeth. She's such a darling

I hugged her and she got out of the room not without telling me to have a nice day. I got dressed in a jeans skirt that stopped above my knees and a blue long sleeved blouse. I decided to add a light make up and used my necklace and a matching earring. I wore a sneakers from one of our collections(which of course is very expensive) used my body spray and made my way towards the dinning room where my breakfast was already served. It was a simple meal of bread, some eggs and tea. I ate my breakfast, bade my parents goodbye and got into the car while Douglas started the car immediately.

"You look somehow different today" Douglas commented. I nodded smiling at him

"Trying to impress someone?" I rolled my eyes playfully at him

"Of course not" The drive was a fast one. I didn't  even notice we were at the spot where I had to come down.

"Have a nice day today Blythe" Douglas said. I waved goodbye and began my usual walk to school.

I saw lexis waiting for me outside the school when I arrived. I hugged her

"Morning bee" she smiled at me. Then she looked me up and down "you look good and smell nice too"

"Thanks lexis. You don't look bad yourself" She was wearing a jean, nude crop top and a matching jean jacket. On her feet were blue sneakers and she carried a blue bag too.
Lexis felt somehow uneasy. Like she wants to say something but contemplating whether to say it or not. I stopped walking and she suddenly stopped too

"What do you want to say lexis?" She seemed surprised that I knew she had something to say

"How do you know....?" I got her off

"We're best friends remember"

"Well Ace asked if we could hang out after school" she blushed shyly

"Someone has a crush" I teased and she blushed more

"Well are you coming or not" She quickly changed the topic

"Of course I will" I said as we headed to our class just as the warning bell was rung.

Hey guys.. I'm sorry it took this long to update.
So I thought of something
I'd be updating she's my queen once in a week as you know I'm busy with the other book too..
