Redfox Manor!
It was Thursday.
The birds chirped as the sun rose over the horizon, it was now the golden hour. The wind blew, the trees shaking and seeds flowing in the air. Levy was fast asleep, curled up in the blankets. She'd stayed up all night studying on Gajeel Redfox, she'd just have to improvise on what to say to him.
Levy awoke slowly, dried drool on her lips. She smacked them softly, yawning. She slowly removed herself from her cocoon, groggily walking into the bathroom. She looked in the mirror, brushing her teeth.
She took a shower and stood in her closet, looking at everything she had. She decided to wear something simple, deciding on a copper brown long sleeved shirt with lace around the edges, a tan skirt and copper headband. (Above)
She smiled in the mirror, slipping on some copper heels and walked outside. The shuttle was in the central part of town, it would be taking Levy to the Redfox Manor. It was not Gajeel's main house, but an alternative that he used to do business and such. Levy made sure her bag was packed, she was going to be gone three days.
She made sure to lock the gate nice and tight, returning all of her books. She was so nervous that she stayed up all night reading.
She walked down the street, going to where the big clock was. She read her last book, this one by far was her favorite. She checked it out over and over again, where Jet just let her keep it.
There were more and more people coming, Levy feeling a bit insecure compared to them. They were dressed much nicer and had on extravagant jewelry, with makeup and money... they were handsome and beautiful, unlike her. They had height and just...
Her thoughts drifted as the bus got there.
"Reservation number?" The man asked.
"999." Levy muttered, sitting in the front. They were driven from the countryside, into the bustling city. People were being let into the building, Levy having an uneasy pit.
"Welcome to Redfox Manor," A maid said sweetly. "I'm Wendy and I'll be your guide! Follow me please,"
She was sweet, a short woman. She had her blue hair in pigtails, brown eyes shimmering. She had pale skin and she's 5'2.
"This is where you'll be staying with your crew members. I will be announcing them now." Wendy pulled out a slip of paper. "Levy McGarden, Mindy Chen, and Raina Popisil. Please go inside of your room, you will find a brochure with everything you need on your bed."
They walked inside.
Mindy has black hair with black eyes and pale skin. She's tall and has a large bust. She's 5'9.
Raina has curly brown hair, tanned skin and yellow eyes. She's kind of tall too, around 5'5.
"Hi, I'm Levy." Levy smiled, waving.
Mindy rolled her eyes. "Oh hush, short-stack. We're not here to be friends, I'm here to win. I'll make Redfox fall in love with me and be rich."
Levy looked down, walking to the bed. Raina was silent, reading over the brochure.
"We go to the commons in 10 minutes." Levy muttered to herself, looking over her shoulder to see Mindy checking herself out in the mirror.
Levy really had nothing to do. There was a TV, and she didn't have much interest in whatever was on. She could read, but then she'd be late to whatever they're doing in the commons. She decided to go now. "It's better to be early, and what if I get lost in this huge mansion?"
"Where are you going?" Mindy asked.
"To the commons."
"We're not supposed to be there until 11:30–"
"I'm going now. Bye," Levy closed the door, walking around. She looked over the balcony, seeing a big area with tables and such.
She decided to walk down the stairs and wait. There was Gajeel Redfox, in all of his glory on his phone. He has very high cheekbones and tanned skin with ruby red eyes. His hair is very unruly and it fell to his waist. His muscles were very visible through his suit and he was very tall, 6'4.
He looked over at Levy, making the adorable bookworm squeak.
She's kind of cute. Adorable, really.... NO! Gajeel, you don't have time for love. You own a company for Christ's sake! "What are you doing down here?"
"The pamphlet said be down here in 10 minutes. It's always better to be early, in my opinion." Levy said softly. "I-I can go back upstairs to my room, if you'd like."
"No, you're fine. What's your name, Shrimp?" Gajeel asked.
"I am not a Shrimp!" Levy pouted, crossing her arms.
"You sure look like one to me," Gajeel hummed.
"Well I'm not! You're just a giant, like the one on the green bean can!" Levy smirked, before realizing what she'd just said.
Gajeel nodded. Interesting. Nobody's ever had the nerve to argue with me and then call me the Green Bean can man. Hm. "Okay then, Shrimp, what is your name?"
"Levy McGarden." Levy said, sitting in a seat. It was so soft, and she bounced on it a little bit giggling.
Gajeel smirked, shaking his head. "So tell me about yourself."
"I'm sorry Mr. Redfox, but that wouldn't be fair to the others. You have to wait until Saturday." Levy shook her head, looking away. "That's when you interview us!"
Gajeel's mouth dropped and he closed it. What? Now she's refusing. "Levy, I said to tell me about yourself."
"And I said no, that's not fair." Levy's eyebrows furrowed. Gajeel laughed, she was so adorable at that moment.
"Why are you laughing at me?" Levy frowned, crossing her arms. So far, she didn't like Gajeel.
"It's no reason, gihi—" People started coming downstairs, Gajeel going back to his stern look and walking away. Levy stared in confusion.
At 11:30 most of the girls came down.
"Good morning," Gajeel said.
"Good morning, Mr. Redfox!" Everyone yelled.
This one girl tried to hug him and was immediately disqualified. Another walked downstairs a minute late and was disqualified.
"Our first two rules. No physical contact with me, and do not be late whenever you are requested. Hell, even try to be early like Miss Levy." Gajeel said sternly.
Everyone turned and looked at Levy, her cheeks growing warm. She shifted around on the balls of her feet.
Gajeel went on and on with the rules, everyone growing bored. "So now is your first test, I want each and every one of you to cook something for me."
He snapped his finger, Wendy appearing.
A girl raised her hand, not even waiting for Gajeel to tell her she could speak. "Why do you need another assistant if you have Wendy?"
"She's about to get married, and that's another rule. If you're married get out." Tons of girls and boys had to leave. "Secondly, What is your name?"
"Rebecca," The girl who asked the question answered.
"Get out," Gajeel sneered. "Pack your shit and leave. Don't ask questions that you have no business asking and don't speak when you are not told to."
"If you'd follow me," Wendy motioned to Rebecca. "Mr. Redfox, may I go bring her back to ensure that she doesn't steal anything?"
Gajeel nodded. "Do any of you have any questions?"
"Are you allergic to anything, Gajeel?" Someone asked.
"No. Also, get out. Always use honorifics." Gajeel growled. When Wendy returned, she took the boy upstairs. "You are to call me Mr. Redfox or Sir. Only those two."
"Mr. Redfox, what is your favorite food?" Someone else asked. "I'm a five-star class chef, so I'll be able to make it—"
"I have tons of those." Gajeel rolled his eyes.
"Oh," She said sadly.
"Plus," Gajeel said, looking directly at Levy. "That wouldn't be fair to the other contestants."
Levy smiled softly, everyone waiting for Wendy to return.
Wendy led them to a huge kitchen, each of them having their own space. "Good luck, minna. I will return with Mr. Redfox shortly."
She left.
