It's Raining Somewhere Else...
Dark storm clouds looked over the sky, covering the sun. It was freezing outside, harsh winds blowing. Cracks of thunder released, the rain starting. The lights flickered, Erza and Jellal looking up from their game of Uno.
Gajeel was furiously typing something on his computer, shaking a little. Levy noticed but chose not to say anything. She placed down a cup of warm tea for him.
He picked it up with a shaky hand, flinching as a clap of thunder shook the house.
"Are you alright, Gajeel?" Levy asked softly.
"O-of course." Gajeel stuttered.
Levy nodded suspiciously, eyeing Gajeel for a minute before sighing softly. She sat on a couch in his office and sipped her own tea.
Gajeel couldn't concentrate, slamming the laptop shut. He paced around, Levy trying to calm him. He hated thunderstorms. Well... more like he was afraid of them.
He looked at his watch. It was only 7!?
"Levy, go get started on d—dinner!" Gajeel flinched as there was another crack of thunder. Levy nodded, looking at Gajeel one last time before going to the kitchen.
Gajeel curled in a ball underneath the desk, the lights flickering once again. He yelped, shutting his eyes tightly.
Levy was putting the steak on the pan, looking out of the window. It was so dark and gloomy outside.... it made her think of that day when she gave him her poncho. She smiled to herself, shaking her head. She hummed a pleasant tune, Erza coming in.
"Hey Levy." Erza said, going in the fridge and getting some strawberry shortcake. "What's up?"
"I'm just cooking," Levy muttered, watching the potatoes boil. They couldn't be cooked too much!
Erza sat down on a stool. "You've been helping Mr. Redfox work lately or?"
"Yeah." Levy nodded, straining the potatoes and rubbing some spice on it. She put it on the plate with asparagus.
Then she got a cookie cutter and cut the steak into a star, mini hearts, and circles.
"You do so much Levy," Jellal appeared, smirking. "Like you're really extra with everything you do for him."
"I know, right?" Erza giggled.
"Could it be that..."
"You like Sir?" The two sand in unison. Levy's face turned crimson and she squeaked.
"I-I-um well-I shut up!" She stuttered looking away. She grabbed the plate and scurried off. Erza clapped, smirking.
"Hmm..." Erza grinned. "Jellal, lets hook them up nice and good."
"Yes," Jellal plotted. "But how? We can't make it too obvious."
"Let's go, I've got sketching paper and we can make scrapbooks of how this is going to work." Erza pulled Jellal to her room. "Rainy day activities~!"
"Haha, yeah! Let's make popsicle stick houses too!" He beamed, laughing.
The two disappeared into their living quarters.
Levy knocked on the office door, Gajeel scrambling to sit up.
"Gajeel," She opened it, putting the plate down. "It's time to take a break and eat."
Gajeel drooled at the smell of the food. "Thanks, Shrimp. I appreciate it."
Levy smiled in response as Gajeel ruffled her hair. God, she loved it when he did that. It felt nice and she just liked it when he smiled at her. A real, genuine smile. Her grin grew wider. She sat next to him, looking up to see his face.
Handsome as always.
Gajeel looked down as he ate his food. "What? Is there something on my face?"
Levy shook her head, laughing to herself. "No,"
"Then What is it?" He asked, Levy not answering. He put a potato on his fork and placed the warm circle of goodness into her mouth.
She blushed, chewing slowly. "W-What?"
"You want some more?" Gajeel put a heart-shaped steak on the fork. "I'll feed it to ya so you don't mess up your dress."
"It's your food!" Levy squeaked.
"But you made it so you deserve some,"
"But I'm not hungry!" Levy shook her head.
"Eat some, it's good for ya." Gajeel ordered.
"No!"
Next thing you knew, Gajeel was chasing Levy around with food on his fork.
"GAJEEL! It's not safe to run with forks, y'know!" Levy yelled.
"Oh well! My Shrimp's gonna eat!" Gajeel laughed, Levy was adorable.
"Yours!?" Levy turned crimson. "W—"
BOOM!
Thunder shook the house yet again, Gajeel eating his food. He started working again, lily walking across the keyboard.
"Mew!" He sat on it.
"Move, Lily. We can play later," Gajeel grumbled.
Pantherlily slammed down a demanding paw. "Nya!" His eyes had a dangerous glint.
"Don't you fucking dare." Gajeel warned. Lily hissed, smacking some of Gajeel's papers off the desk. He strut over to the computer, prancing all over it. "Pantherlily, no!"
Lily stopped, walking to Gajeel and cuddling him. Gajeel groaned, stroking his cat. Levy smiled softly, picking everything up.
Nightfall came quicker than expected. Levy took a shower, singing. Her and Gajeel's rooms were connected by a door, so he heard her soft, melodic voice.
It calmed him as he lay under the blankets, afraid. He was shaking, trying to zone out his thoughts and listen to Levy sing.

"Im happy for you," Levy sang. "I'm smiling for you. I'd do anything for you, for you. It's always for you, and never for me, and I need it to stop, so let me tell you please. I'm always sad, and I'm always lonely. But I can't tell you that I'm breaking slowly. Closed doors, locked in no keys. Keeping my feelings hidden, there is no ease. I need it to stop, and I want to be able to open up but, my feelings are fatal. My feelings are fatal..."
Gajeel shivered, is that how she really felt? He'd have to find out one day. Thunder shook the house yet again.
When she got out of the shower, she climbed into bed and went to sleep.
...
Crack! Levy jolted awake as she heard the loudest clap of thunder that night. The let out a shaky breath and looked out of the window. It didn't look like it'd be stopping anytime soon.
She could've sworn she heard a noise on he other side of that door... maybe a sniffle or something?
She grabbed the water on her nightstand, gulping it down. More noises from Gajeel's room.
She walked to the door that separated them. What if she saw something weird, like Gajeel having an affair or something? That would be awkward.
She braced herself, cracking open the door.
"Gajeel?"
There was a yelp from the bed. Levy walked to him. "Are you alright?" She sat on the edge. "Gajeel?"
Gajeel was shaking like mad. Even in the dim lighting, Levy could see he was afraid and tired. He refused to admit it.
"Is there anything you need?" She said softly. When he didn't answer, she sighed and got up, looking when Gajeel grabbed her wrist. He pulled her into the bed, hugging her tightly.
Levy's eyes widened. At that moment, when the cold moisture hit her shoulder, he was crying. Growing up rich meant he didn't have anybody to comfort him during these hard times..
"Stay with me please," His voice was yet a whisper. "Please. I'm scared,"
Levy hugged him. "It's going to be okay."
She comforted Gajeel and calmed him down, the two falling asleep tangled in each others arms.

The birds were singing, flowers blooming... it was a beautiful morning. Levy opened her eyes groggily at the sound of the blaring alarm clock. She moaned, moving a little, but being restrained by two strong arms. She looked to see Gajeel sleeping peacefully.
He was sleeping through his alarm? Levy decided to let him sleep, he must've been exhausted. She pried herself from him, brushing her teeth and going downstairs to make breakfast.
An idea popped into her head. She was going to make him breakfast in bed! Eggs, bacon, and pancakes, aka Perfection!
When it was done, she put it all on a tray and walked upstairs to see Gajeel looking out of his window.
"Nice day, huh?" Levy said softly.
"Yeah," Gajeel nodded, Lily sleeping on Gajeel's lap. "Thanks."
"For what?"
"For staying with me yesterday." Gajeel looked away. "It's stupid, right?"
"No!" Levy placed the food on the dresser. "It's okay to be afraid of rain!"
"It impacted you and—"
"No it didn't! It's fine!" Levy blushed.
"Really?" Gajeel said hopefully.
"Of course. Now eat up sir!" Levy chirped. Gajeel ate, feeding Levy some bacon. The two ate breakfast in bed together, lily meowing. It was the perfect scene. They went back to sleep in each others arms, Pantherlily right in the middle.
Erza snapped a photo, sending it to everyone's favorite shipper.
