Naps and Movie Nights!
"Sir?" Levy and Gajeel were in America. They walked through the busy streets of New York City. She'd already bumped into so many people, and lost Gajeel, Erza, and Jellal in the process. "G-Gajeel? Gajeel!? Erza? Jellal? Someone..?"
They had a business meeting and she couldn't be late! It was important for Gajeel...
Someone bumped into Levy.
"Watch it!"
"Почему бы тебе, ты уродливый заросший кусок дерьма !?" (Why don't you, you ugly overgrown piece of shit!?) Levy cursed at him in Russian, she took time to learn the language. She wasn't the best, she was still a learner. She also spoke Japanese, Polish, German, Chinese, Korean, and Arabic. She wanted to add more languages to that list, though!
She sighed, she shouldn't have said that. That was rude. She was just frustrated to another extent! That didn't mean she could take it out on others though...
Levy sniffled, feeling the urge to cry. She pulled out her phone and— another person bumped into her and knocked the phone to the ground. It broke.
She saw who did it, and rushed to pick up her phone. She followed. "Excuse me, sir! Sir!" He saw her but chose to ignore the small bookworm.
She grabbed hold of his sweater, pulling him back a little. "Sir! You bumped into me and my phone fell. It broke, you have to pay for the repairs!"
"I don't have to do shit, little girl! Go back to the kitchen," He turned to leave.
Levy's eyebrows furrowed. "Excuse me?"
"You heard me." He sneered. "What the hell are you gonna do, flick me? Look at how small you are, you probably can't even hurt a fly!"
"Pay to fix my phone!" Levy yelled. "I have work, this is a working phone! Please!"
He pushed Levy roughly. "No!"
Levy hit the ground, vision spinning. He sure did push her hard. She hit her head, the phone falling from her hands at someone's feet. She recognized someone's size 14 shoes. Levy started to see small dots in her vision, looking up slowly to see Gajeel with a scowl on his face.
Erza had her arms crossed with a murderous glare on her face, Jellal looking angry.
The guy gulped, looking at Gajeel.
"Explain to me what the hell I just saw." Gajeel said lowly. "Why is the Shrimp on the ground looking like she's going to die?"
"I-I—"
"You pushed her, right?" Erza sneered.
"No—"
"And you broke her phone!" Jellal glared. "Douche."
"You have ten seconds to say sorry, and give her the money to fix it." Gajeel growled.
"But I—"
"Ten,"
"I'm sorry!" The man cried, throwing $100 on the ground. He ran away.
Levy slipped away from reality. She didn't know Gajeel could be so intimidating...
...
Levy's head hurt. Everything was sore. Her throat was dry, all she wanted right now was water. She groaned, opening her eyes slowly. It was too bright...
She smacked her lips, blinking. She looked over to see water on the beside table. She gulped it down, refreshed. Who's bed was this? It was huge...
"How are ya feeling, Shrimp?" Gajeel asked, petting her head. Levy smiled, looking at him.
"I'm fine," Levy got out of the bed. "Did we miss that meeting?"
"No, it starts in an hour." Gajeel shook his head.
No matter how much her head hurt and she wanted to rest, she had to work. "Let's go, we can't be late, can we?"
"No, rest some more. I told them what happened. You're in their house, actually. Just rest, okay?" Gajeel lay her back down. "Are you okay?"
"Mhmm." Levy nodded. "Can we go back to the phone store so we can get this fixed?"
"I bought you a new one, no worries." Gajeel shrugged, handing her the box. "But before you set it up, you have to rest."
Levy's stomach grumbled. "I-I'm hungry..."
"Okay, hold on." Gajeel left for maybe 30 minutes and returned with a plate of fluffy waffles, scrambled eggs, and sausages. "Say aah,"
"I can feed myself." Levy said, reaching for the plate.
"No. You need to rest, so do as I tell you." Gajeel refused. Levy sighed, he was stubborn so it was best to just give in now. She let him feed her, the food was delicious! "You like my cooking?"
"You made it? It's yummy!" Levy beamed, giggling. Gajeel smiled, he would cook for her more often.
"I'm glad you like it," Gajeel left the empty plate on the nightstand. "Take a nap, okay? I'm right here if you need me."
"But I'm not.. tired." Levy yawned.
"Go to bed, little one." Gajeel chuckled. "I'll be right here."
Levy drifted off. Gajeel watched her as she rested. She was so pretty, nobody could compare. She's so petite and tiny, he could just scoop her up and never put her down. He ran a hand through those soft tufts of ocean blue hair, jumping back when Lucy was in the doorway laughing.
"Gajeel," Lucy sang, wiggling her eyebrows. "What is this? Hmmmmmmm?"
"Shut up Bunny Girl." Gajeel looked away, blushing.
"Blush now? Ohohoho, Natsu! Erza and Jellal were right!" Lucy snickered, Natsu howling with laughter.
"Shhh! She's trying to sleep!" Erza butt in as everyone started yelling and Levy shifted around.
Everyone was quiet as Levy started to snore.
"Cute," Lucy squealed.
Meredy laughed at her mother's antics.
"Oh come on Luce, what about moi?" Natsu grinned, motioning to himself.
"Meh." Lucy smirked, Natsu crying out loudly.
"Lucy no!" He sobbed. The two begun to bicker, Gajeel face palming.
"Kid, how do you deal with this?" Gajeel face palmed. "Your parents are fucking annoying."
"No they aren't, they're my mama and papa. I'm used to them and I love them with all of my heart." Meredy frowned.
"Your kindness and innocence is scary." Erza sweat, Gajeel looking shocked for a minute before looking at Levy.
"Do you like her?" Meredy suddenly asked, Gajeel jumping and looking shocked with a blush on his face.
"I-um... don't ask weird questions!" Gajeel stammered, refusing to make eye contact with anyone. Natsu laughed, draping his arm around his wife's shoulder.
"Don't be afraid to admit it! I knew Lucy for 6 years before I finally confessed! Don't be like me!" He grinned, kissing Lucy on the cheek.
Jellal did the same to Erza, listening in on the conversation. She eyed him, leaning into his warm hold. "But sir, it's not good to deny it."
"I'm not denying it!!" Gajeel exclaimed, Levy waking up.
"Denying what?" Levy yawned.
"N-Nothing!" Gajeel yelled.
Levy squinted and shook her head. She wasn't tired anymore, looking around.
"Lucy!" She grinned.
"Hey, I'm glad to see you're okay!" Lucy hugged Levy. "People can be jerks up here in New York but don't take it too hard."
"Tell me about it," Levy rolled her eyes.
"Is there anything you want to eat? We can order takeout or go somewhere, your choice." Lucy suggested.
Levy shook her head. "No, it's fine! We have a meeting, anyways."
"Oh, that? That was just an excuse for you to come down here. Gajeel and I already discussed business plans while you were asleep, anyways. So now we can have fun!" Natsu chuckled.
Levy looked over at Gajeel, embarrassed. "Um... G-Gajeel..?"
"What is it? Are you hurting? Sick? Dying? Shrimp, are you dying? Are you—" Gajeel rambled.
"No!" Levy blushed, he cared that much? "I was wondering if.. you could... um.... make me more food? I want you to cook it... but you don't have to! It's my job to cook for you! Not the other way around!"
"Is there anything specific ya want?" Gajeel asked.
"No," Levy shook her head.
"And you don't have allergies, correct?"
"Mhmm!" Levy nodded.
"Okay. I'll be up in a second, so be patient." Gajeel looked at Lucy. "Don't kill her, okay?"
Lucy laughed and waved him off.
"So, Levy. Do you like a certain black-haired man?" Lucy giggled, Levy blushing.
"Why.." She asked nervously.
"Body language! It's so obvious!" Meredy exclaimed.
"Really?" Levy squeaked.
"Yes, So we want to hook you two lovebirds up. What do you say? You'll get to eat fancy-smancy food at a 5-star restaurant with the big guy. And then you guys kiss, and yada yada yada." Natsu smirked, laughing as Levy turned such a deep shade of red, it might as well be considered purple.
"B-b-But he may not even l-like me!" Levy looked down.
"Who wouldn't?" Lucy placed a hand atop Levy's. "You're pretty, smart, and talented."
Levy smiled softly. "You really think so?"
"Of course!" Erza gasped. "Who wouldn't want to date someone as small and cute as you! You're like a little gumdrop!"
Jellal leaned in, whispering into Erza's ear. "I for one wouldn't. I want to date a girl exactly like you. Tall, strong, and hot as fuck."
Erza's face turned red, she punched him so hard he flew across the room. She let out a shaky breath, sitting back down. He didn't mean that, did he?
Jellal groaned as he sat up slowly. He laughed as Erza looked away from him. "Awww, what's wrong—"
Erza flung open the bedroom door and ran out, Jellal following her with the biggest grin on his face. "Come on baby, you liked that one!"
"Leave me alone Jellal! I'm not a baby!" Erza squealed, laughing.
You could hear everything through the door, Natsu and Lucy sweating.
"We should definitely get soundproofed walls." Natsu stated awkwardly.
"Now that I think about it, we should." Lucy sweat.
"You really need to." Meredy blushed. "The things I hear at three in the morning..."
"HEY! You're just jealous you aren't allowed to play Mario Kart and 3am!" Natsu barked, Levy raising her eyebrows. "What did you think we were doing, Levy? Pervert!"
Lucy laughed, rolling her eyes. "So what do you guys wanna do tonight? Is today gonna be a stay in day?"
"Sure!" Levy smiled.
"Let's play Mario Kart." Natsu smirked. "I need to beat you, Lucy." He went to go grab the Nintendo Switch, hooking it up to the TV.
He then pulled out another one. "So who's playing on the TV?"
Gajeel then came in with potato soup. It looked and smelled heavenly.
"Sup Gajeel! We're gonna play Mario Kart!" Natsu waved. "Wanna play?"
"Sure. Eat the food first," Gajeel nodded. He snapped twice, Erza and Jellal suddenly appearing, stopping their little game.
"Sir?" They bowed.
"Come eat," Gajeel said, putting the pot down on the table. "Shit. Forgot the bowls. Hold on,"
"Virgo!" Lucy called.
A woman with pink hair and blue eyes walked in, a pretty maid dress on. "Yes, hime?"
Lucy sweat. "Virgo, please stop calling me that."
"Okay, hime. Well, what is it that you need assistance with?"
"I need you to grab seven bowls and spoons please." Lucy said.
"Okay, I will return in a second." Virgo left and re-appeared. She put bowls and spoons down and left.
Everyone served themselves, laughing and eating. When the food was done and everyone was full to bursting, the real fun started.
They opened Mario Kart, linking the two Switches together. They chose 150CC and begun to choose characters.
Natsu chose to play as Bowser.
"Ew, you chose Bowser?" Lucy sneered as she chose Peach.
"Uh yeah, he's a badass fire-breathing turtle dragon thing—"
"Koopa." Lucy corrected.
"Koopa! Who wouldn't want to be him?"
"Me," Meredy laughed as she chose King Boo.
Gajeel chose Metal Mario. "Oh yes. Here we go,"
Levy chose Bowser Jr, he was just too cute not to!
Erza chose Isabelle and Jellal chose Link.
Everyone customized the Karts and begun! It got really heated really fast.
"Levy you banshee! How could you!?" Gajeel screeched as Levy threw a red shell at him.
"Sorry not sorry," She laughed as she sped up to 2nd place. Right behind Lucy.
Beep! Beep! Beep! Beep!
"Oh fu—" BOOM! A blue shell was hurling toward them, exploding the top 3. Lucy, Levy, And Erza.
"JELLAL!" Erza cried as he sped past her.
"Hehe, sorry!" Jellal laughed.
Natsu threw a green shell and hit himself with it, moaning loudly. "No! Whyyy?"
"You're really bad at this, papa." Meredy snickered. "Better step up your game."
They raced.
1st Place- Lucy
2nd Place- Jellal
3rd Place- Levy
Gajeel groaned, he was so close to being 3rd but Levy used that boom box thing last second! "Shrimp! You're evil,"
"Awww, come on Gajeel." Levy beamed, leaning on his shoulder. "You just have to get better."
Gajeel blushed at the small action, looking down at the Shrimp. He wanted to kiss her so badly. They played Mario Kart for an hour after that.
"Okay so..." Natsu hummed as they went to charge both of the switches. "What now?"
"Let's watch a movie!" Levy grinned.
"Which one?"
"Um..."
"Grown Ups!" Erza and Jellal yelled in unison.
They searched the movie, closing the blinds and turning off the lights. In case you're wondering, Lily did not come along, he got sick. Poor thing.
"I'm gonna go pop some popcorn," Meredy left. She returned with four big bowls. Natsu got his own, Meredy and Lucy would be sharing one, Jellal and Erza would be sharing one, and Gajeel and Levy would share.
The movie started. It was hilarious, everyone laughing and eating the popcorn. When it ended, they decided to watch a scary movie. They chose It(original, not the 2017 version).
Lucy and Natsu were laughing during the scary bits, Meredy sitting on the edge of her seat immersed in it. Jellal was horrified as he watched the movie, gripping Erza like his life depended on it. She chuckled, stroking his head.
"Don't worry Jellal," Erza said with a straight face, this movie wasn't scary at all. "I'll protect you from any scary clowns."
Levy was hugging her knees to her chest, shivering. Gajeel placed his two strong arms around her, picked her up, and put her in between his legs. (Not on his lap)
Levy looked up at him slowly, seeing his glittering nose piercings in the light from the movie. His eyes shone and glimmered from the light, Gajeel looking down at her with a smirk on his face. Levy's lips parted as their eyes met and they couldn't stop looking at each other.
A loud shriek pulled them from their daze, Jellal was screaming loudly.
"Shhh!" Erza hushed him. "It's just a movie!"
Everyone laughed, Levy feeling Gajeel's chest rumble. She smiled softly as they continued watching the movie, Levy feeling Gajeel rest his head atop hers.
He soon fell asleep like that, arms around her tightly. Levy started to drift off also, the movie ending and everyone leaving with sly smirks on their faces once they saw.
Gajeel lay down in his sleep, taking Levy with him. They went to sleep in each others arms yet again.
(Extra long chapter for you guys today!)
