Day 0.5?

After about two hours, Gajeel walked downstairs with a smug look on his face. "The results will be announced at dinner, thank you. The 99 who do not make it will be sent home after,"

"After what?" Veronica asked.

"After you eat dinner, Veronica." Gajeel rolled his eyes. "Get out, you broke a rule. So now that only leaves 99 of you. The other 98 will go home."

Everyone nodded silently.

"I am giving you this time to pack up all of your things. If anything is stolen, that will be a felony considering everything in this house is worth over $2,000." Everyone gaped at Gajeel in shock. "I will call the police and they will hunt you down so that I can get my, lets say pillow back. Then you'll be in jail."

"Please don't steal anything, as he said. If you steal, I'll tell my dad. He's a realtor, you know. He'll get you evicted from your house so then you can't go home when you get out of jail." Wendy grinned darkly. "That would suck, wouldn't it?"

Everyone went to go pack up, making sure not to take anything. People chatted, exchanging numbers and such. When dinner time came, everyone sat in tense silence.

"*ahem*" Gajeel cleared his throat. "I will be announcing who will become the new assistant now."

Everyone looked around, Levy putting her hands into tight fists. She sighed, releasing them, if she lost, she would just go home with a smile on her face as if nothing happened. The thought saddened her. She was on top of her game, so why wouldn't she get the job?

"Congratulations to—"

"Sir, my mother is calling you— oh, sorry. I'll tell her you're busy at the moment. Continue," Wendy perched in, eyes widening and then leaving.

"As I was saying before I got so rudely interrupted," Gajeel glared at Wendy. "Congratulations to..."

There was a crash upstairs. Gajeel cursed loudly, face palming. "Ohmyfuckinggod. Go see what that was, Wendy. Go bring the shotgun with you."

Wendy ran upstairs, coming back down with a cat that had black fur. He had a scar over his left eye, his orange eyes filled with what seemed like boredom. He had a collar on that read "Pantherlily". He meowed loudly, Wendy placing him down and letting him run to Gajeel and meow impatiently.

"He was upstairs having a tantrum." Wendy laughed. Gajeel cooed, picking up his cat. Nobody had ever seen this side of him.

"Are you mad cause I left ya upstairs alone? Don't be angwy anymore, daddy's got ya. Let me just announce some things and then we can play all you want." Gajeel said sweetly, stroking the cat. Her placed it atop his head and let it sit in his hair, chuckling as the cat pawed the unruliness. He looked shocked as everyone stared at him and fixed himself. "Once again, congratulations to the person who got the job. That person is..."

"Nya!" Pantherlily meowed.

Gajeel grinned, pausing to pet his cat.

"Oh my god! Just get to the results already!" Someone exclaimed.

"Oh, you can leave. It wasn't you anyways." Gajeel shrugged.

"My new assistant is—"

"Mom says it's urgent," Wendy butt in yet again. Gajeel groaned, taking the phone.

"Yes? Mhmm. What? What? WHAT? No! Now!? I'll cancel my flight tomorrow and be down there tomorrow, k? Yes. No. No. No, I'm good. Okay! I swear to god. Okay. Mhmm. Bye now, have fun," Gajeel talked on the phone.

"So what happened, sir?" Wendy beamed.

"Your moms in labor. You should go home right now, tell Romeo he can wait on your little pre-wedding date. He'll understand," Gajeel handed Wendy $10,000 to get a plane ticket. "Bye bye. Be safe."

Wendy hugged Gajeel, saying "I love you!" before leaving.

"As I was saying," Gajeel said annoyed now. "The new assistant is—"

"HA! I told you Karen! It's me! Not you—"

"Um actually, it's Miss Levy McGarden. Not your hoe ass." Gajeel snickered, everyone screaming. Some clapped with tears in their eyes.

"WHAT!" Everyone screeched, even Levy.

"I went through all that hell for nothin!" Someone cried as Wendy led everyone out. Levy sat in the dining room still.

"Do I have permission to speak, sir?" Levy grinned.

"Yes,"

"Let me just say I am honored to work for you." Levy beamed. "And your cat is adorable."

Gajeel smirked, leaning over Levy. "I hope you like your new job, it starts now. You need to go upstairs and pack up my things. My clothes are in the dresser, that's all you need to pack up. Please set up Lily's carrier."

"Does he have any allergies?"

"No." Gajeel shook his head, wondering what the clever bookworm would think of.

Levy walked up the stairs, entering the master bedroom. It was huge! Levy flopped on the bed, jumping on it. She laughed loudly, checking to make sure Gajeel wasn't deciding to make a special appearance. She packed his things neatly, sweating at the size of his clothes.

"He's huge," Levy muttered.

Then she got Lily's carrier out. She put a small blanket inside with a mini pillow she found on the end of the bed. Then she went back downstairs.

"What time are we leaving in the morning?" Levy asked softly.

"Five," Gajeel showed Levy his phone, she saw the tickets.

"Mhmm. Do you have anything else I need to prepare?" Levy said softly, going to pet Gajeel's cat.

"Careful Shrimp. He doesn't open up to strangers so easily—"

Lily leaned into Levy's hand as she stroked him. Gajeel's mouth dropped as Levy gently took Lily from his arms and carried him away.

"H-HEY SHRIMP!" He whined.

"Yes?" Levy peeked back in.

"Give him back!" Gajeel pouted, Levy handing Lily back. "How could you betray me like this! You're supposed to love me, not her!"

Lily meowed sweetly, putting as Gajeel stroked his soft fur. Levy grilled a fish, putting it in a container. She hummed a sweet song and put it in a container which went in the fridge.

Levy looked over through the door to see Gajeel working on his computer as Lily was asleep next to him. She shook her head, it was weird being alone with him.

She made Gajeel a sandwich. He looked up confused when Levy held it in front of him.

"Eat up, sir." Levy smiled. "And you should rest early, we have a long day. Also, may I use the phone to make some calls?"

"Uh sure. Here," Gajeel gave her his phone. "Yours broke?"

"Hm? No, I just couldn't really afford to pay the bill." Levy shook her head, laughing.

"Oh."

First, she called Cana, who was screaming at the top of her lungs with joy.

"FINALLY, LEVY! You can leave this hellhole! I was gonna go throw windows at your house if you didn't get that job! I'm so proud of youuu! You better give me some of your paycheck." Cana beamed. "Then I'll be super rich like you! Psst... if you and Gajeel get married I better be invited to the wedding."

"Thanks Cana," Levy laughed. "But you can't call this number anymore, Mr. Redfox would hate for his phone to be blowing up—"

"YOU'RE USING HIS PHONE!! AAA! LEVY, THIS IS SCANDALOUS!" Cana screeched, jumping up and down. Levy giggled, telling Cana to stop. She could tell she was drunk.

"Well Cana, I'll leave you to finish drinking." Levy giggled, hanging up the phone. "Bye."

She then called the library.

"Hello, this is Magnolia Library, Jet speaking. How may I help you?" Jet said on the other line.

"Jet! It's me! Come put the phone on speaker and put Droy on!" Levy said sweetly, Jet gasping and you could hear him scrambling to yell for Droy.

"Levy! What happened? Are you okay?" They both asked in unison.

"Yes, I'm fine. Guess what?" Levy smiled.

"What?"

"I got the job!" Levy exclaimed, the two of them clapping sadly. "But that means I can't see you guys a lot. And my books will go overdue."

"You can keep em! No worries," Droy reassured.

"You better not get so rich you don't call anymore though." Jet scolded. "And you know you can always call me if you're in trouble. And—"

"And if that no-good Gajeel even thinks of hurting you or touching you, he's got another thing comin!" Droy growled.

"Jet, Droy, c'mon. He's not like that." Levy rolled her eyes. "I'll be fine, now get back to work. I just called to tell you."

"On what phone?" The two asked.

"Gajeel's. Bye now, have a nice day." Levy waved to nobody. She handed Gajeel back his phone.

"I thought you had no family?" He raised an eyebrow.

"Nope. Those are my friends!" Levy smiled.

"Oh." Gajeel muttered, continuing to type.

"Can I do my laundry?" Levy asked.

Gajeel looked up. "No."

He smirked as her mouth dropped and her eyebrows furrowed. Her face flushed. "B-But Sir! I'm out of clothes and we can't go back to my house to get the rest because you've got to be somewhere! Please, sir, I won't make a mess!"

Gajeel closed his computer, standing up. He snapped, a man with blue hair and a tattoo over his eye appearing out of nowhere. He has dark green eyes. He's tall, 5'11. "Yes sir?" Levy's mouth dropped.

"Go get the car. Bring Erza along with you, and let the shrimp put some shoes on. She can't leave in slippers." Gajeel said. "Also, Jellal, get in your uniform. Tell Erza to too, ok?"

"Yes sir." Jellal nodded, putting his hand out for Levy to take. Levy grabbed it, Jellal leading her away. First they went to this room and Jellal unlocked the door. He stood there for a minute as he watched her with her shirt above her head. She froze, looking over.

There was a tall woman, about 5'7 staring back at them. She has piercing black eyes and scarlet red hair. She also has a pretty huge rack. "J-Jellal! What did I say about knocking!"

"Eh, I don't really remember," he joked, the woman pulling a sword from her boobs and rushing forward. The two begun to have a heated fight, Levy standing there confused.

After ten minutes, they both stood breathing heavily with sweat dripping from their faces. The redhead laughed, looking over at Levy.

"Oh! You must be the one Mr. Redfox chose?" She bent down one knee. "Pleasure to be serving you. The name's Erza."

"Nice to meet you!" Levy said kindly. "Mr. Redfox summoned you both to get the car? And then I need to go get my shoes."

"It's nice to meet you too. In case you're wondering, we're his personal bodyguards." Jellal and Erza said in unison, glaring at one another.

"Well I'm going to get my shoes," Levy excused herself.

They let her walk away, going into her room. She went into the luggage and grabbed her flats, opening the door. She squeaked when she saw Erza and Jellal standing there.

Erza had on some knee high boots, with a navy blue skirt and a white button up shirt with a blue bow on it.

Jellal has on a navy blue suit with a black tie.

"Miss Levy, are you alright!" Jellal asked.

"You scared me." Levy breathed out. "Also, aren't you making it a bit too obvious that you're bodyguards."

"No," Erza smiled darkly. "Now nobody knows to fuck with us."

Levy saw Jellal blush out of the corner of her eyes, raising an eyebrow.

They went into the garage, filled with many cars. They picked a black BMW 328i.

"Sir," The two bowed as they stood in front of Gajeel. He nodded, going into the front of the mansion to see the car.

"Good choice. Get in Shrimp."

That entire night was filled with shopping, when they got home, Levy collapsed onto the bed.

"Shrimp, it's two in the morning. No point in sleeping," Gajeel laughed. "Gihi. I have a small welcome present for you."

"What is it?" Levy yawned, sipping some coffee she saw in the fridge.

It was two phones. An iPhone XS, and Galaxy Note 9.

"I wasn't sure if you were into apple or android, so I got you one of both."

Levy squealed, grabbing the XS. She'd always wanted an apple phone. She then froze, looking up at the phone and then Gajeel. "I.. I can't accept this!"

Gajeel glared, crossing his arms. "What, is it not good enough!"

"No! It's more than enough, but that's why I can't take it!" Levy frowned.

"Just take the phone, Levy. I'll help you set it up!" Erza said sternly.

"Yeah, he doesn't even buy us nice stuff like that—" Gajeel glared at Jellal, making the poor man squeak and leave.

"Fine... thank you." Levy sighed, feeling bad. She sat up, setting up her new phone.

She quickly put in Cana's number, along with Jet and Droy.

Cana? Are you awake?

Uh yea who dis

It's me, Levy! I got a new phone!

Oooh! What's you getjbogbal

iPhone XS. Mr. Redfox got it for me! Are you drunk?

Whut? Me no wayyyb

   Goodnight, Cana.

Levy smiled at the conversation, putting Jet and Droy in a group chat and texting them there. They were both asleep. Levy then put Erza and Jellal in. She then asked them for Gajeel's number.

At around 3:30 in the morning they went to the airport.
