EPILOGUE

Happily Ever After

"And that's the story of how your mother and I fell in love." Gajeel grinned at his two of his four children, twins who were now five, ruffling their heads.

"Woah! No way!" Adrienne, the younger twin gasped. Her navy hair was unruly and long, just like her fathers, her hazel eyes twinkling. She had smooth pale skin, just like her mother's. She's 3'8. "You and mommy are so perfect for each other!"

"That's so cool!" Jeremiah, the older twin exclaimed, ocean blue hair covering his red eyes. He preferred to have it that way, because it was just like his older brother's, but "cooler". He's 3'8 also! "Did you hear that, big bro? Dad's battle scars are awesome, too!"

"Dad's told us this story a million times." Rogue, the eldest child shrugged. His jet black hair was short, covering the right side of his face. His eyes were crimson, just like his father's. He has a scar running over his nose, and he has olive colored skin. He's 16 and is 5'9.

"Haha, he recites it like it's the Bible." Gale, the second eldest laughed. Her black hair was straight and short, in a bob. Her eyes were amber and she was pale. She's 15, 5'10.

"I'd gladly listen to it a gajillion times!" Adrienne huffed, crossing her arms. "I ship mommy and daddy. You just don't understand."

"You act just like aunty Mira." Jeremiah stuck his tongue out. "Yucky!"

"And you look like a frog!" Adrienne scowled, Jeremiah chasing her through the house.

"Take it back!"

"No!"

"Yes! I do not look like a frog!"

"Yes you do!"

You could hear the two of them bickering from a mile away. Pantherlily was sitting on top of his scratching post, looking like he was ready to kill himself. He was old now, but Gajeel still loves him just as much.

"Hey dad," Rouge inched closer to his father. Frosch, Rouge's cat meowed loudly, also demanding Gajeel's attention. Frosch was a green cat (some mean kids forced dye onto his once white coat, and he was sent to a shelter where Rouge got him) gifted to Rouge when he turned thirteen. Frosch is never seen without his pink frog hoodie. Rouge and Frosch are practically inseparable.

"What?" Gajeel leaned back on the couch.

"Can we go to Lucy's house today?" Rogue played with his fingers. "I wanna hang out with Sting."

"Oh! Yeah! We should go to Aunty Lucy's house today!" Jeremiah grinned.

"She has cool toys!" Adrienne gasped.

"And we could go to Coney Island!" Gale added in, looking up from her book.

"Ah, you'll have to talk to your mother about that." Gajeel rubbed the back of his head. "She should be getting home soon."

"Okay!" All of the children said in unison. Gajeel went and picked up Lily, kissing him and giving him ultimate cuddles.

"What's up, buddy?" Gajeel said sweetly, Pantherlily meowing. "You're so old now."

Adrienne and Jeremiah loved to pet Lily too, even though it was more grabbing his tail. Pantherlily endured it, no matter how annoying it got.

The door unlocked, Levy walking inside with some groceries. "I'm home!"

Everyone stared at her as she walked in.

"Is there something on my face?" Levy giggled, putting away some of the groceries.

"Wow, mommy! Your hair is awfully... blue today!" Rogue started.

"Yeah! You look taller today too!" Gale snickered, she was much taller than her mom.

"You're glowing!" Adrienne exclaimed.

"And.. um... you're pretty!" Jeremiah sweat.

"Okay, what do you want?" Levy smirked, hands on her hips.

"Can we go to aunty Lucy's house?!"

"Huh, we went over there two weeks ago!" Levy sweat.

"Yeah, but I wanna go see Sting!" Rouge grumbled.

"And they have a big library in their house," Gale added. "With cool books and stuff."

"And Lily can have a play date with happy!" The twins grinned in unison.

"Uh, I'm not too sure." Levy hummed, looking over at Gajeel. "Well? What do you think?"

"I say we go." Gajeel shrugged.

"Don't you have a meeting though?" Levy sweat.

"Fu—" Gajeel started, earning a death stare from Levy. He quickly corrected himself. "Frick the meeting. I'll just come up with an excuse,"

"You're literally the worst businessman ever." Levy facepalmed.

"You know you still love me, though." Gajeel chuckled.

"You're right, I do." Levy smiled warmly. The two just stared at each other for a moment, all of the children watching them with creepy smiles on their faces.

"AAAGH! I ship it!" Adrienne screamed, bouncing up and down.

"Ugh, Adrienne, you ruined the moment!" Jeremiah groaned.

"Teehee! No I didn't!" Adrienne smiled innocently. "I think they're going to kiss! Mommy, are you going to kiss daddy again?"

"Yep." Levy nodded, planting a sweet kiss on Gajeel's lips.

"EWWWW!" Jeremiah mimicked vomiting noises, running away.

"Awwwww! That's so cute!" Adrienne grinned. "I can't wait until I get to kiss a boy—"

"Never." Gajeel growled darkly, making Levy sweat.

"So... are we gonna go to America?" Rouge hummed.

"You know what?" Levy nodded. "Alright. Go pack your things. Erza!"

"Hm?" Erza walked around the corner, a strawberry shortcake in hand.

"We're going to New York. Would you like to come?" Levy smiled.

"Sure." Erza nodded.

Her son, Ezra walked around the corner in a quite similar fashion, except for the fact that his cake was chocolate. Erza didn't take her son disliking strawberry cake lightly, but there was nothing that she could do about it.

"America?" His purple hair was in a wavy bowl cut, brown eyes glittering. His skin was pale and perfectly clear. He was 14, standing at 5'7. "Great!"

Everyone started to pack their clothes and things for the plane.

"Hey Jellal." Erza smirked, requipping. "Would this, or this be a better plane outfit?"

"This one matches my hair," Ezra held back his laughter as he requipped, Jellal whining loudly.

"You guys! Stop flexing so hard!" Jellal groaned. "I can requip just fine!"

They both gave him that look, making him shriek.

"You're supposed to love me! How could you!" Said Jellal, Erza giving him a hug.

"Of course I love you." She smiled, whispering a small "you're still a loser though." at the end.

"HEY!" Jellal barked, making Erza laugh.

"Sting! We're gonna come see you in a few hours!" Rouge grinned, doing a FaceTime with Sting.

Sting has blonde hair and olive skin. His eyes are a piercing blue color, a scar over his right eyebrow. His left ear is pierced, he always has in a diamond earring or one with a huge crystal. He's 5'11.

"Really!?" Sting exclaimed.

"Yeah!" Rouge nodded.

"Omg! Lector! C'mere buddy!" Sting called for his cat, Lector. Lector is a rusty red color. He enjoys wearing a (pretty badass) jean jacket. "Frosch is coming over!"

"Meow?" Lector pawed at the camera. Frosch meowed excitedly, the two communicating.

"Aaagh! So cute!" Sting squealed.

"Yes!" Rouge nodded. "They're cat besties!"

Sting and Rogue laughed and chatted on the phone as they waited for the plane to take off.

"Those two are so weird." Gale muttered, chuckling as she shook her head. "ROUGE! GET OFF THE PHONE WITH STING, WE'RE GONNA TAKE OFF!"

"We are? Okay." Rouge nodded. "Bye Sting! See you soon!"

"Weirdo." Gale snickered.

"It's okay to be jealous." Rouge smirked.

"Of what?" Gale raised an eyebrow.

"Of me, what else? You're supposed to be the smart one." Rouge blew a raspberry at Gale, making her laugh.

"Yeah, yeah." Gale rolled her eyes. "Enjoy that little victory of yours."

"Jeremiah, look!" Adrienne pointed out of the window as they soared above the clouds.

"Woah! Clouds!" Jeremiah gasped, stars in his eyes.

"I wonder... what happens if you touch a cloud?" Adrienne looked at her brother.

"I think it pops and blows up!" Jeremiah exclaimed. "And it makes a loud noise. And maybe that's how it rains. I'm pretty sure clouds taste like cotton candy."

"Then how come rain doesn't taste like cotton candy?" Adrienne wore a puzzled look on her face.

"Hm..." The two started to think before Ezra helped them out.

"If you touch a cloud, nothing happens. Rain doesn't taste like cotton candy because clouds basically are stored up rain." He chuckled, ruffling both of their hair.

"Ohhhh! You're so smart!" The twins gasped in unison. Ezra smiled, gazing out the window. The twins began to bombard him with more questions, making Levy giggle.

"Twins," Levy smiled, giggling. "Don't overwhelm him, now!"

"Okay, mommy!" They both beamed.

Lucy and Sting were waiting at the airport, waving.

"ROGUE!" Sting grinned, crushing Rogue in a hug. "Aaaah! I missed you so much!"

"Me too!" Rogue smiled.

"Go make out in a corner somewhere else." Gale snickered.

"I'm not gay," Rogue shrugged. "I actually happen to like a very wonderful g-girl, thank you very much."

"Oh-ho~? What's this?" Sting wiggles his eyebrows.

"Wait a minute—" Gale whined. "Sting doesn't even know!? Dude, spill the beans!"

"I make it super obvious, you're just dumb." Rogue laughed, making Gale punch him.

"Let's not fight in the airport." Ezra said darkly, being ignored by Rogue and Gale. He then proceeded to smash their heads together, making them groan loudly.

"Scary..." The twins both rubbed their heads, making Gajeel laugh.

When they got to Lucy and Natsu's house, Meredy and Natsu were playing Mario Kart 8 Deluxe.

"Haha!" Meredy grinned as she threw a blue shell at her father. She'd grown up, but always makes sure to drop by and play video games with her father from time to time.

"Meredy! You can't keep doing this to me!" Natsu groaned, shedding a single tear as the shell immobilized him for a couple of seconds. "You're supposed to love me!"

"Sorry not sorry." Meredy snickered, racing to number one.

"We're back," Lucy smiled.

"Luce! Meredy's cheating again!" Natsu whined like a child, making Lucy shake her head.

"We've been over this a million times dad! I'm not cheating, you're just bad!" In her spare time, Meredy liked going to video game tournaments. She's a pretty well known gamer in the Nintendo community. She has an entire shelf filled with trophies in her studio apartment, where she lives with her boyfriend, Lyon. As you can probably guess, Natsu didn't react to this news very well. His exact words were: "You're dating Ice Freak's son!? HIM? Meredy, sweetie, you can do better! He'll give you AIDs or something!"

"Ha." Meredy grinned as she claimed yet another win. She got up from the couch, hugging her brother.

Frosch leapt out of his cat bag as soon as it was placed onto the floor and unzipped, rushing to go and find Lector. Happy sprinted around the corner, ready to play with the three. Lily slowly crept out of his bag, meowing lazily.

Rogue and Sting ran off, presumably to watch memes using chromecast.

"Ugh, if only Wendy were here." Natsu pouted. "Then it would've been a full kitty reunion."

"Easy there, Happy," Lyon chuckled as he almost tripped over the small blue cat.

Natsu was glaring daggers at Lyon. One, Lyon took his daughter away. Two, it's Gray's son we're talking about here. Gross. "Don't tell my cat what to do, Fullbuster."

"I think I just did." Lyon taunted.

"Oh, so you wanna go there with me!" Natsu cracked his knuckles, ready to fight.

"Maybe I do." Lyon raises an eyebrow, arms crossed as he stood in a relaxed stance.

"Dad... Lyon..." Meredy sweat. "Can we not do this right now..?"

"Sorry, darling," Lyon shrugged, he and Natsu tumbling across the floor. "It must be done!"

"You're cleaning up after." Lucy shrugged.

"Uncle Natsu! Can we play Smash!" Jeremiah pleaded. "Pleaseeee!"

"Sure you can," Lucy smiled kindly. "Let me set it up for you."

"Ooh, I'm playing too!" Gale plopped down on the couch.

"Me too!" Ezra grinned.

"Count me in!" Meredy started, sweating as everyone deadpanned "No.".

"I promise I'll go easy!" She laughed.

"Easy? Easy is hard!" Jeremiah stuck his tongue out.

"Fine, I'll just watch." Meredy giggled. "Winner of all of the rounds fights me?"

"I heard Smash! Are we having a tourney?" Sting plopped his head around the corner.

"Yep." Adrienne giggled.

"I'll make snacks!" Jellal ran into the kitchen.

"Let's make strawberry cakes!" Erza followed suit.

"Hey! Don't blow up my kitchen!" Lucy sprinted after them.

Everyone spent hours playing Smash, laughing and screaming, having a great time.

Levy smiled widely, this was truly a wonderful day. To see her children, Hell, her family happy... it made her glow. Gajeel noticed this and smirked.

"Looks like someone's happy."

Levy looked up at him. No, it was more than happy. Words couldn't even describe the way she felt, a kaleidoscope of emotion twirling inside of her. Rays of sunlight filtered through her soul, a wondrous symphony of laughter began to carouse through her ears, and Levy felt nothing except pure bliss.

Back then, before all of this, Levy felt like she had no purpose, like... there was nothing for her. She wished she could go back and tell herself "it's all going to be okay,". All of the pain, the torture... it was worth it to be able to be here today. Her once mediocre life was drastically improved, all because of that giant green bean can man next to her. It made her laugh.

"Yes," Levy nodded, a wide grin displayed on her face.

"I'm glad." Gajeel and Levy shared a sweet kiss, watching the tournament unfold.

Adrienne herself was watching down on Levy, a proud smile on her face.

"Oh Levy, what a beautiful girl you've become."
