The car ride had been torture. It was so long. There just simply wasn't a shorter way home without either multiple stops, or turbulence. A plane would have been fine if they had all wanted to go to Jayce's.

Carter had business to attend to though. He was the new alpha in charge of next year's new runners. He was twenty-one himself, and all of next year's new runners would be under his wing. He had to teach them the boundaries, rules, and now show them which part to avoid. His influence also had him involved with other duties as well. The main one being the renewal of the opening ceremonies of the run.

Carter already had plans in place to take Mika with him, so she could speak to the attendees. Both cocky alpha sons, and betas. Maybe the females to. The rules needed to be amended, and the girls needed some inspiration. The guys could handle being knocked down a peg or two. They needed it. Far to many had they're heads up they're asses. He, and all of the 'new' counsel would be there to back her up anyway. No one was going to get to her with these six knuckleheads around. He'd even counted Farven. Because who didn't see that flamboyant Were as family?

The car stopped, and dropped him off first. He smiled, said his goodbyes, and headed to the woodline of his pack. His last goodbye was a howl from the side of the car. Mika pressed her cheek to the window giggling and waving before getting pulled out of Jason's lap.

She giggled again softly. "Sorry. " She said sheepishly. She didn't realize she jumped over him just to watch Carter go home. She was feeling better, but absolutely restless. The guys weren't sure how to deal with her anymore.

" Geez, you've sure changed Mika. Our first car ride was silent. Now all I hear is the sound of chaos. " Jayce said both amused and annoyed.

" I'm so tired of riding. I haven't shifted in so long!" She whined softly. "My legs ache, my mark was almost stolen, I thought my little bro turned and caught a dose of crazy on me... " She pouted.

He smiled, " I know. I know. It's okay Mika." He soothed softly. He didn't want her so wound up, but she didn't need to be upset either. Not after what she'd been through. Not to mention he was probably coming off as harsh. Mainly because, he was still pissed Darius had tried to confuse one of his best friends, and take his mate. " How about we both run together when. We get closer to home? " He asked softly playing with a strand of her hair.

Her eyes lit up, " Okay! I'll try to calm down. "

Jason watched them, or rather he admired them. Even after a rough start, they still managed to make a beautiful life so far, and it could only get better. Their only threat for the moment was gone. He wanted what they had. He longed for it. Jason met Axton's gaze. He smiled at him. Ahh so the angel was jealous as well? Mika made it look easy to tame an Alpha.

He knew it wasn't. She had what it took. It was that simple.

He watched the trees, thinking to himself. Who on Earth was going to fill his heart? Someone short, a cute little thing, maybe black hair, not afraid to have some highlights of color... Such thoughts made him smile and space out. Jason had been doing that a lot lately. Suddenly he had a mischievous, and bold thought.

Did he dare speak it?

Oh hell yeah.

" I can't wait to be an uncle to your kids. "

Mika blushed deeply, and grew very quiet. She sunk down in between Jayce and Axton. Both gave an appreciative smile. His territory was coming up soon. He huffed a little. " We need to spend more time together soon. I miss fighting already. Maybe I'll catch you off guard next time I visit. " He smiled at Mika in a taunt.

She smiled back sheepishly, still caught off by his previous comment. " I look forward to sparring again. It was fun, and quite the work out. " She giggled. The tension visibly relaxing in her.

The tall man nodded, and rested his head over on his hand and against the window. " Oh, I'm gonna dye my highlights again. Any suggestions on the color?"

"You've had just about every color. I thought you picked it randomly. " Axton said as he picked up a tuft of Jason's long bangs.. " Wow....Why so soft? You dye it so much I thought it'd be more coarse. "

" I like soft things. I take good care of it. " He shrugged.

" Sky blue. " Mika said watching the horizon. " It would compliment your skin tone, and stick out to your mate. I bet it'd look striking with your eyes being so green as well. " She smiled over to them.

" She's right. When you were thirteen I remember you using that color. It took forever for you to come see me because girls kept trying to flock around you. " Jayce commented absently.

Jason nodded. " Been forever since I had that one. I liked it to. Done. Sky blue. " He stretched and gave them a little wave. " Later~ " Without warning Jason opened the door, and dove out, changing to a wolf mid fall. He howled his goodbye as Mika pressed her face to the window again.

"Adopt her. Now. " His wolf spoke softly. Okes hardly ever talked, but he certainly approved of Mika.

Jason chuckled a bit, " Nah. We couldn't handle being family with her. Adorable or not, she's a fierce little thing. Better off being friends. "

" I stand by what I said. "

She sighed. " That was awesome. "

Ricardo laughed a little, " He's always a show off. This exit was surprisingly calm for him. Something seems to have soothed his soul. " He said giving a knowing glance to his excited little amiga.

"E-esme!!! You have to let me go soon! " Whined Mika. Esmeralda had latched onto her the security and they got there. Literally she dove through the sun roof and started hugging Mika. The poor girl was a crying mess when she heard her best friend had been kidnapped. Mika struggled to pry her death grip off of her waist.

" You are making Rico jealous~" She taunted lightly. He sat there glaring. Mika chuckled nervously. " Esme let go right now!" She hissed in a whisper. " He's going to run right through us!"

Esme sobbed, " B-but you w-were gone! For weeks! " Ricardo crossed his arms, and frowned. " You are the only L-luna that is ever nice to me! Stupid bitches are cold when they visit! I don't want you to disappear!"

" I won't again! I was worried about you to you know? What if they found you next? That place was hell. "

"Oh.. Ricardo had me locked in our safe room. I wasn't allowed outside without an escort, and when I did have one he always had a second escort behind us. Not to mention the traps, extra patrols, and curfews. "

" Ricardo! What the hell? Paranoid much?" Both girls suddenly turned on him. His Hispanic beauty held fury in her eyes, as well as sadness and annoyance. Mika was down right confusing. She looked calm, but he knew she was way more than just pissed. " You sound like the rouges themselves. "

He struggled for a moment to answer them. " I wasn't taking chances.. Esmeralda is my life. If I didn't have her, I would be lost. Much like Jayce was without you. Axton and Sike were also hurt badly. It was a scary things to think that someone could carry off a Luna, and nearly kill an alpha and beta. What was I supposed to do?" He asked softly.

Esme sighed a little, and let Mika go. She stood and whispered to her. " Promise to call me later. Text me. Something. It's nice to have someone to talk to. " She smiled, and walked over to Ricardo. " And you... " Her voice was stern and almost menacing before she could no longer hold it under his heated gaze. His eyes were smoldering towards his mates confidence boost, " J-just don't lock me up like that. I didn't see you for almost a week. Believe it or not books, t.v., sleeping... It all gets old without someone else. "

He pulled her to him and smiled, " Promesa, Mi Gatito." He smiled and rested his head on hers. " Sorry for getting so over protective. " He played with her hair, and let her turn to say goodbye to Mika. Jayce had finally managed to get close to her again.

Jayce sighed and then chuckled. " About damn time.. I heard an apology come from Ricardo. I've been waiting on that for years. What a time to be alive!" He mused playfully picking Mika up and spinning her in small circles. She giggled and he smiled brightly. It was music to his ears. The girl he wanted to spend the rest of his life with gave him a high no one else could.

"BACK OFF! FOR THE LAST TIME IM NOT A GIRL!"

Axton was running, legitly sprinting towards their group. He'd gone into the town to go to the bathroom.

Bad choice.

A few guys his age had seen him, and started harassing him. Cat calls, flirtatious pick up lines, and one even tried to pin him to a wall so he couldn't keep escaping.

" Ricardo control your horny male population! " He shouted hiding behind him. The guys ran past them not noticing that the blonde had ran behind him. Who would think that the cute little chick was really a he? Or that he knew their alpha.

Ricardo laughed causing Esme to blush a scarlet red. " I should have warned you I guess. Probably would have been best to go to our house instead of the cafe. Those boys are relentless. "

" I swear to God I'll kill them if I get my ass touched again. I've so had enough of being a girl for a life time. " He poked his head around and walked over to Jayce and Mika. " I don't know how you girls do it. It's so annoying. Guys hitting on you. Guys trying to touch you constantly. Guys trying to steal your attention away from whatever else it's on. Girls wanting to rip you apart. " He shuddered.

" Girls are dangerous. " He muttered.

Both girls laughed and gave a knowing and understanding look to the boy. They agreed completely. The guys however seemed confused, so Axton chimed in. " It's a girl thing. ." he looked at his nails playing the roll again.

Esme beamed. " I can see how he played the role well. He's a natural. " She looked up at Ricardo, " Come on Perrito~ Let's get you some food and relax. "

Rico. Smiled at his nickname, and nodded. " That sounds amazing right now. That car ride was so long. " He semi whined.

Jayce took Mika's hand and walked her back to the car. Axton was following behind when he saw the group of guys approaching them again. He quickly took Jayce's arm in his and hugged up to his side. " Save me.." he whispered.

Jayce rolled his eyes, and stopped. He glared at the boys for a moment and bent down towards Axton. " If you say so~ " His eyes went dark, " But you owe me. "

Mika watched amused and surprised. She crossed her arms and waited. Axton was as stiff as a board, and looked shocked. Maybe even nervous? Hey! What the hell did Jayce do?! He better not have kissed him! Boy or not Jayce was hers!

Nina was cackling in her head. She just wouldn't stop laughing. All Mika could catch between gasps for air was something about Koy's evil plot for revenge after Axton ran off and dressed like a girl.

Axton immediately walked to the car. His face was as red as cherry tomatoes. He was throughly freaked out. Axton did not expect for the bastard to do that! Neither had the other guys who got to watch him lick his neck, grab him and holds him close, and say something rather loudly in Spanish. Something he suspected had to do with marking and mating him... Especially from the looks on their faces. " I.. M-mika! Keep him away from me!" He said quietly getting into the car again.

Jayce laughed as he glared at the group. Daring them to come closer. They turned tail and ran. Mika came up to him. " I did owe him... He came onto you. Even if it was to stay with you. "

She shook her head. " That was evil Jayce. "

" Who ever said I was nice My Little Star?"

She huffed, " I guess I did once upon a time. . " she started to walk towards the car as well.

He tilted his head, making his adorable hair fall to the side slightly. " You did? I recall you calling me an asshole constantly. " He said following her.

She smiled shyly at him. " Whoever said I said it out loud? Maybe I told Koy instead. " She taunted.

His eyes were smoldering, " No baby, you didn't tell me either. "

Her eyes were wide, " Ehh... Don't call my bluffs!" She squealed a little. "I'm trying to play!" She yelled innocently.

" Playing or not, you'll get it for not telling me what you thought of me if you wanna okay that game. I'll show you what I think of you. Very. Slowly. All night if need be. Until you have it memorized in your beautiful head. " He grabbed her before she could get in, gave her a passionate kiss, and held her close.

She blushed, holding him back around his neck, and giving into his kiss. " Only if you promise to actually play that game. " She whispered softly against his cheek. He gave her a small grunt and she could feel the rumble in his chest.

" Hey! Don't start playing "games" on or in my car! Let's go. I'm so uncomfortable..." Axton said poking his head through the sunroof.

Mika smiled and nodded. Jayce just groaned softly. He huffed and helped Mika in again. " It was just getting good little brat.. " he muttered.

" My car my rules. Unless you wanna walk to walk to Montana to get her. I'll kick you out..." Axton said puffing his cheeks out child like.

Mika patted his head, and smiled. " Calm down Axton. He just missed me a lot. " She cleared her throat and bit her lip as the car pulled into drive again. They were leaving the state line of Minnesota, heading to North Dakota again. Back to her new home.

Home. That sounded heavenly.

" So.. I heard you'll be in the run starting next year?"

He nodded not really looking directly at her. Axton was still nervous about that. He paid attention to the snow on the roads though. December was still on them. In a little under half a year he would be officially able to look freely for his Luna. Not that he couldn't, but it was much easier to do when the other alphas (or their fathers rather) weren't breathing down your neck. It was nerve wrecking.

She smiled, " I didn't sleep much. Maybe two or three hours. I derped so hard I almost ran into the forest as a human. I slid right under an alpha at the entrance to the forest. Right between his legs. " She kept poking him.

Jayce smiled, letting her tell her story about the run. He was honestly interested in it as well. He hadn't really heard it yet.

Axton glanced at her. " You dummy. That's asking to get hurt. Both running as a human and out witting an alpha like that. "

" He was surprised. Until a girl ran into him. That was a snippy boi. " She said playfully. " Then I ran around the woodlands trying to dodge the others. They continued to come at me. Seemed like a game honestly.

None of them caught my attention though. I was looking for a pull I felt when I first arrived at the Run. Honestly I almost took off into the woods before I was supposed to. I knew I would get into trouble though. Let me say, the pull I felt was so hard... It could have knocked me to the ground. It.. almost did. "She breathed softly.

"An instinct to go. Run. Be with the person I was looking for. " She sighed dreamily. " Little did I know that he was going to be an asshole at first. " She added. Then she frowned, " He out a collar on me. Stalked me. Threw me on a bed. Locked me in his room. Kicked me out of his room. . . " She paused looking Axton in the eyes. "Do not under any circumstances be a Jayce."

Jayce frowned, but shrugged a little when Axton looked at him. The angelic boy looked shocked, " You know how I was. And, why I was that way to begin with. I had my reasons. Though, I will admit to the stalking. Though I prefer to say I was keeping an eye on my mate. I was a little too rough with my methods. "

He cleared his throat, " She looked beautiful every day. Every day more beautiful than the last. She picked herbs for the doctor while we were in short supply. Out of my boundaries, but it was a huge help. She looked so beautiful. I wanted to sit with her, hold her while she taught me about them. While she picked them. I still want to do that eventually.. But, like I said. It was in rouge territory, and the wind picked up, her hair flew back and her scent went everywhere. We had to leave. Immediately. " He was watching the road as he talked.

Both Mika and Axton were in awe. Mika was blushing at the thought. He'd been battling himself for so much longer than she thought. That story was so sweet, and he'd never told her either.

" She went to pick flowers for the kids as well. That one was a hard day for me. I was already annoyed that the elders kept questioning me about her. It was non stop. I wanted her to runaway at first. Just to be rid of me. Of those assholes. They were way to close to my father. So I was rough that day. The first time I was mean was over old clothes. Bloody, ripped, soiled clothes... She was taking them to the stream near the house for some reason. I was pissed she was touching such filthy shit. So I forcefully carried her back home while I was naked. " He smirked. " She hated that one. " He snickered.

Mika chewed on her lip. " We didn't have washers in Crystalleaf. We hand washed things. So I was used to it.. Daily chores were nothing. I was always used to doing something. " She shrugged.

Jayce looked at his blushing mate. He smiled, and pulled her close. " You must have been so bored. I'm sorry Little Star. " He kissed her temple and let her rest on him.

The blomde boy smiled. The girl he adopted as a big sister was something else. She was brave, a smart ass, and he imagined a really good friend. " I hope my Luna has some of your traits. I just hope she isn't a cliche. I can't stand them. "

" What do you mean?"

" I mean the typical I'm special, stuck up, clumsy, that I'm just a normal girl routine... Stuff like that. I know I'm an abnormal alpha. I'm short. I'm fiery. I'm a handful. I don't like pretending to be interested in typical cliches. A lot of girls try to pull them off.."

She slapped the back of his head, and he flinched, " Some girls aren't pretending when they say those things. I would have considered myself rather boring. Before meeting you screw balls that is. I can understand not wanting to deal with a holier that thou attitude. But, some girls are clumsy, rambling, easily distracted messes. They require a special person to help them be better. " She leaned in so only he could hear, which perked Jayce up curiously, " They need someone to show them how to glow. Shine. They make the best mothers and Lunas. "

Axton thought it over. He guessed he deserved that slap to the back of his head. He sounded rude saying he didn't want someone specially made for him. He did have a lot to learn being so young.

The pressure had been getting to him lately, but that as no excuse. He smirked seeing Jayce perk up when Mika started whispering to him. Axton even went as far as to turn so he could see her at all.

" Careful bastard. I might make good on my promise. You know.. the one I made to you in front of those guys?" His tone was dead serious, and Axton paled a little. Jayce was a scary guy when provoked. " Mika is already in trouble. She will certainly be getting it that treatment. She seems to like you well enough. I'm sure I could accommodate you to. " He threatened.

Axton looked at Mika and gulped. " Nope. I'm noping out of that promise Jayce. Mika can have it. " He patted her head, and scooted back against the seat.

Mika huffed. " I'm so lost. I hate it. " She pouted.

Jayce gave her a sly grin. " It means you'll be busy for a while when we get home. "

Mika's cheeks turned pink again. His grin was enough to drive her crazy. At least that one was. She felt oblivious though. Until his words really sunk in. " Oh.." She said softly.

Jayce just watched her with the same sly grin. He chuckled a little and pulled her to him. She rested her head on his chest, and relaxed. "Get some rest. It's getting late. " He said softly.

Axton just smiled. They were adorable.

He hated it.

He wanted his mate! He almost whimpered, and lost his cool.

"It won't be long Axton. "

"I thought you weren't talking to me Wolfe?"

"Ehh.. You were right. We pull the look off. I don't like how we acted... But, I also think you need me. Considering Jayce's threat. Koy would carry through with it... " He felt Wolfe shudder.

Axton laughed, " At least he is a good friend. "

" Loyal and protective to the end. " Wolfe agreed.

"Mika... Mika...." Jayce shook her a little. " Come on. Do you still want to run home?" He asked waking her.

Mika sat up straight. The car had stopped and the boys were waiting on her to wake on up. She blinked a few times, and stretched. " A run? " She yawned softly. " Oh! A run! Yes!" She bounced excitedly.

The guys chuckled. " Come on. Let's go home Mika. " Jayce said kissing her gently.

She nodded, and slid out of the car with him. Both of them waved to Axton and turned before they started to walk off the road a little. Axton waved back, and sighed. He still felt down, but it wasn't a bad thing. If anything it meant he had people he really trusted and cared about. He was going to miss them, but he had to go home again. It wouldn't be long before the Run came around again, and he needed to prepair.

Besides, he knew Carter planned on having her at the run.

Mika started to run hand in hand with Jayce. He let go of her hand and chuckled as she took off ahead of him. " If I catch you before we get to the house, you won't be sleeping tonight.." he called after her.

She gulped and took off faster if possible. His threat made her heart skip a beat and her stomach feel fluttery. She couldn't contain herself anymore. Mika lunged forward and shifted, landing on all fours and taking off.

Unfortunately for her that was a bad choice. " Fair game Love! " Jayce copied her, and took off chasing his mate. He heard the all to familiar yipping of the pack's new hunters and security. His howl blasted through the night letting them know who was crossing into the boarders.

Sike's howl sounded back, and Jayce knew he was shooing everyone away from the manner, as well as the woods they were currently going through.

Mika pushed harder, trying to get farther ahead of him. She glanced back and nearly jumped out of her skin.

" Mika! Come here Little Star~"

"Gahh! How fast have you gotten?!"

" I was bored! You were gone, I needed a distraction..So I trained hard. "

" No fair. You're going to catch me In a heart beat..."

"Oh Mika .. I hate to break it to you, but I haven't even started to run at full speed yet.."

She gulped hearing him laugh in her mind. Crap. He was going to catch her. He knew he would. He wanted to, and even planned it so that he would. Jayce was giving her a chance to run together though, and stretch her legs.

She suddenly stopped, and changed. He skidded into her, and pinned her down before changing as well. " Something wrong Mika?" He asked looking down on her. The rumble in his chest only grew stronger, and he felt like taking her right there.

She giggled a little, and met his eyes. " Just surrendering. " She answered softly holding her hands up, and leaning up to kiss him.

He smiled, and caressed her cheek. She wasn't helping his predicament. " I can't wait much longer to get you home..."

" You might wanna get off of me then. Before something happens here. Someone is going to end up seeing us. "

"Sike cleared the woods. We would be fine. However, I do wanna be alone for sure with you. And, in our bed. Our comfy bed.. " He got off of her, and went to find them clothes. They were only minuets from home, but she was right. He still didn't want anyone to see her. He could care less about himself.

Jayce brought her an over sized shirt, and slipped it over her head. Then scooped her up, and carried her. " It was all I could find, but we are almost home." He hugged her close. " Home sounds really good right now. "

She nodded and smiled as he carried her. " It really does. " She agreed laying her head on his shoulder. Mika had a funny feeling settle into the pit of her stomach. It wasn't uncomfortable. Rather it was exciting, relaxing, and honestly just an odd feeling in general.

Jayce's feet quietly carried them both up the stairs of their home. He had paused long enough to close and lock the front door. Mika didn't seem to protest it either. She seemed just as eager to be alone together. Not that he could blame her. She'd been away from him for far too long now.

"Never again.." Koy growled.

"Agreed Koy. " He sounded.

He wanted to hold her close, take her into his arms, and make love to her all night. That was the plan after all. Jayce wanted nothing more than to make her scream with pleasure. Yet, that wasn't what she needed. Not right now. She'd been through far to much in the past few weeks. While it would provide a good stressed release for her it also might take more of a toll on her body. He couldn't do that to her just yet.

He opened the door to their room, and walked over to their bed. Jayce sat her down, and kissed the top of her head before going to shut them in and lock the door.

Mika watched him, and butterflies spread through her stomach. She smiled at his kiss, and she wondered just what was going through his mind. It was odd. He was never really this quiet before was he? Maybe he was. It had been so long since she had the chance to be together with him. Alone that is.

He came over to her, and laid down with her. For what seemed like hours they laid there together. He noticed her body jerk a little. She was relaxing so much she was starting to drift off.

He couldn't have that now could he?

Jayce smirked softly. He moved to lean over her, and kissed her neck. She jumped a little, and he smirked yet again. " I missed you so much Mika. I love you so much. " She rested his forehead against hers.

She smiled sleepily up at him. " I missed you to. So much more than you know. I love you so much. I hate the way I said goodbye in the car. " Mika moved her hand to caress his cheek.

" I should have went with you. You would have been safer. We might have caught him before he killed like he did. " he shook his head softly.

She just smiled in return. " I think they preferred death over being taken in by him. Forced on him really. " She shuddered. " Axton couldn't even handle the rouges ganging up on him.. I honestly don't think one more alpha would have helped in the situation. " She sighed softly.

Jayce looked into her eyes for a minuet. He nodded a little, " You may be right. It's in the past now though, and should be put to rest. " He kissed her soft lips, and tangled his hand in her soft hair. " Now. ." He inhaled her sweet scent. ". . your mine Mika. You can sleep in tomorrow~ " He chuckled a little before kissing her again, this time passionately.

Mika laid on her side cuddle into Jayce. She smiled almost asleep. Jayce wasn't lying. He'd taken his time, all night to be exact, to refamilarized himself with her. A blush crept into her cheeks as she thought about it, and she felt herself squirm again.

Wow..

Her body felt sore, and she was exhausted, but she felt the want yet again. She wondered what was wrong with her. Normally she wasn't this needy.

Nina assured her nothing was wrong at all.

Mika had a sudden thought. " Jayce..." She whispered. He gave her a soft grunt in his sleep. " You.. you didn't use protection this time did you?"

He open his eyes and looked down at her with a sly little smirk. " No. I didn't Mika. " His arms tightened around her waist and stomach, and he held her close. " And, yes I know you haven't had your birth control either. "

She felt a little dizzy. " But, that could easily mean-"

" I know Mika. It's okay. I'll be here for you if it happens. I want it. You would make a wonderful mother. " He smiled a little.

She blushed, and turned towards him in his tight grasp. " Are you sure? It just seems.. like a big step. "

He nodded. " I agree. It is, but it's a step I'm more than willing to take. As long as I take it with you Mika. I feel strongly about this. I'm sorry I guess I should have asked or at least talked with you about it.. I honestly got caught up in the moment. "

She smiled a little at him. " It's fine. As long as you want it to. I.. kind of do want it as well. The more I think about it being a possiblity, the more I feel the rightness of it. I'm just nervous. "

" That's understandable. I know I will be to. When it happens. " He smirked more deviously, " Care to explain why your aroused again? I can fix it, but still...."

Mika gasped and blushed deeper, " I.. umm I was thinking about last night. Even as sore as I feel I kind of.. started getting there at again. "

Jayce chuckled and played with her hair gently. " Get some rest Mika baby. I'm going to stay until you fall asleep. Then i have to go do something, and when you wake up I'm sure I'll have a surprise for you. "

" You with surprises? Oh no..." She said playfully. Mika gave a long yawn and snuggles up to him. " Okay Jayce. Night... Love you." She smiled softly and closed her eyes.

Not even ten full minuets later she was fast asleep. Jayce slipped away and got dressed. He frowned not wanting to leave his beautiful sleeping girl. Yet, he was going to for just a little while. Jayce closed the door with a soft click behind him as he set out to get his surprise the best he could.

After all, he was planning their wedding.

It was something he knew every girl dreamed of. Even if just a little. His friends sisters, and the girls in the packs often talked about it. Most people told them to stop. That weres didn't marry. He also had a few new girls he'd volunteered to take into his pack to settle. That wouldn't take to long. Slowly he made his way around them. Each settled in fairly well.

Except for one stubborn old bat who kept insisting on seeing the Luna. " Look woman she is asleep! "

Jayce shook his head, and glances away letting her ramble on. He saw Minny coming up towards them. He glanced at the clock on the wall. " And now you've made me late for my meeting.." he mumbled.

She laid into him once again and he just sighed feeling defeated. Until he heard a sharp slap. Jayce jerked his head up seeing Minny in front of him.

Her hand had just connected to the lady's cheek.

" I would appreciate it if you backed the fuck off. " She said with a smile a sickly sweet voice. He just stared. " Our alpha, and my soon to be son-in-law, is trying to tell you my daughter is exhausted. She spent the last few weeks in the same hell as you. She also most likely was awake most of the night. She needs her rest. You can wait to speak with her. Axton, the other little blonde boy you guys had with you, is in another state. Now. Take your exhausted ass inside and sleep. You'll feel better when you do. I'm sure you'll also want to apologise to Jayce after. "

She blinked. Trying to register what happened. Then She smiled. The woman looked down guiltily. " I do now actually. I haven't been trusting of men since I was abducted. I'm sorry alpha Jayce. I need to go be you a chance before I judge. " She paused to look at them ,and held her cheek. " You certainly are her mother. I've seen a slap like that before in the cells. " She laughed a little. " I wanted to know she was alright. You have patience to deal with us all.. I guess she's in capable hands. " She gave them a small nod before heading off to her room.

Minny turned to Jayce, " Go on. You have things to arrange" She smiled and shooed him away.

Jayce nodded thankfully, "Yes Mom. I'll see you later on today. Is the dress ready? "

" Yes it is. I'll have to make some alterations I think, but it's ready. " She gave him a cheeky smile.

"H-how did you know? "

" I'm a mother Jayce. I know things you wouldn't want me to. "

He shuddered. " Right.. I.. I'm going to leave now. " He waved as we wandered off to finish up his business.
