DECEMBER

His tone was desperate. His hands were shakey. He was covered in blood, and sweat. Darius was kneeling in front of Mika. His eyes searching her own. His breath was ragged and held the stench of death.

He took her hand in his. " Come my Love. It's time for me to start over. " he said softly. Almost as if he fully believed it was that simple.

She gulped. " W-what happened? " shen pasked touching his cheek lightly. As revolting as he was, he had once been a friend. Well, sort of.

" My last interest.. fought me. So I had to discipline her, and the others. They just wouldn't be happy. No matter what I did. " He said kissing her hand. Darius cackled like a mad man for a moment. " Don't be like them. You look so much like her. I would hate myself for having to discipline you as well. It gets very messy. "

She gasped sharply. " Y-you killed them?" She asked softly yet again. His features were dark, and getting darker. She was terrified his mind was consumed already by insanity. Obviously it was. Why else would he be here, desperate and blood soaked?

Darius growled darkly. " They disobeyed me! They deserved it! " He slammed his fist against the wall next to Axton's head. The poor angelic boy jumped hard as did Mika. Both were shocked. Both were momentarily terrified.

" How many? How many did you kill?!" She half yelled getting in his face. Her anger building. All those mates lost. All those girls lives cut short. None of them would get a second chance at life. It was a terrible waste.

" You have her temper to. I must be quite lucky. " He whispered seductively. This guy changed his crazy ass temper like most girls change clothes!

She mentally gagged, and slapped him so hard his head turned. " Shut your damn mouth you dirty, no good, rotten asshole! " She snapped. " What gives you any right to play the reaper?! To rip mates apart, and all in the name of a girl who isn't even your mate! Who never will be!"

He growled lowly, and started to chuckle. Before long he was laughing manically, and holding his sides. " Oh Love. I'm going to have fun with you. Taming you will be my greatest accomplishment.

Once I find a suitable Luna, being you, everything will fall right into place. We'll rule the werewolf world together. We'll exterminate the vermin who hold the titles of Alpha. We'll be the only Alphas to exist! A truly powerful couple, and then we'll take over to humans! " He continued his insane rambling s until he began to laugh once more.

His laughter grew insane, and the girls shrunk away. Hell, even the rouges gathering outside the cell shrunk back. She shared a look with Axton. This was going to be harder than she thought. She didn't know if she could handle this level of crazy alone.

Scratch that. She definitely couldn't handle this level of crazy alone.

The boy got onto his knees. He hated himself for what he was about to do. He really.. really... Hated this.

"Boy, I wanna help her to, but this is not what I had in mind. Please, just please don't kiss this maniac."

" Any better ideas Wolfe? Cause hes about to take her and run. I don't know about you, but I don't want to see that. Or hear it. And Jayce will. Murder. Us. "

" Ughhhh.. Just rush him.. we can handle the rouges to... "

" You mean like before when we got choked out within an inch of our life and passed out for a week? Sike almost died because of that. Who knows how many girls would die? What if our mate was here? "

"She isn't Boy. "

"Wolfe. Shut the fuck up, and stop fighting me!" He snapped.

" ..... fine..... but I'm not talking to you again until my pride is healed. "

"Great, some great help you are buddy. "

He threw his voice like before, and let his hair fall over his shoulders. " Mister.. will you take me to? Its terrible here. I never wanted a mate. I never wanted to be tied down. I want to chose who I give my body to." As he spoke he inched closer, and up to Darius. Almost as if he was poking his non existent chest out to him.

He looked over at Mika. She was confused and shocked to say the least. She was never going to let him live this down. W-wait... Was she actually trying not to laugh?!

Oh. The torturous humiliation..

His hand ran up Darius's arm. The alpha tensed before looking at him coldly. " Come now. Don't be that way. " He continued to look at Mika. " I'm adventurous as well~ "

" Are you now?"Darius had to admit. He liked the sound of it. " You have quite a personality. Beautiful figure as well. " He was seriously considering taking this pretty little blonde as well. " I've only got one Luna in mind though.. "

" I don't want to be Luna. She can handle the hard stuff and be the face. I can handle the stress revealing things. " Axton leaned forward towards Mika, and licked her cheek suggestively while making direct eye contact with Darius.

Jayce was going to kill him. He was a dead wolf boy. No mate. No happy little family. Just a rouge crazy ass alpha, Mika, and Jayce's foot up his ass.

"At least you got to lick her.. "

"Curl up In a ball and die Wolfe. You aren't helping. "

Mika gasped at them. What the holy fuck was going on? Her mind was far to innocent for this shit. Well .. okay maybe not.. still!

Axton licked her cheek, and she blushed hard at him. Was he trying to get killed? Because this was going to kill him. More specifically, Jayce would. At least he hadn't kissed her. Yet. Oh, no, no, no.. was that where this was leading?!

Darius sharply inhaled. " My, my Little one. You are very serious aren't you?" He leaned back, pulling them both to him on their hands and knees. " You'd better mean it. There will be no going back. I'm done sending disobedient women back."

She looked over at Axton. Nina was laughing in the back of her mind. Truth be told she was to scared and confused right now to do the same.

" I for one never agreed to anything. Nor did I intend to. . . " Her only chance was to pretend she was okay. Put on a brave face. Nina seemed to trust Axton. So maybe she did to. Besides, if this all went South, Axton might be better to be stuck with than Darius.

Still she managed a shy smile up at Darius, and glanced at the blonde boy next to her. " We mean it. " They said together softly.

Darius pulled them both up, and onto his forearms. Almost like seats. " Well then, let us go. We'll get to know each other a little better. " he cooed at them.

They stared shocked at how much he could carry on just his arms. " How strong are you Mister?" Axton asked in awe. He simply couldn't help it. Werewolves were strong, but one might struggle to carry two girls on his forearms like little kittens.

" Taken by my strength? " he asked as he walked them away. " I'll let you two in on a secret. I made myself stronger. I had to. Far to many alphas were stronger than myself. I can't conquer them if I'm not stronger. Right?" He had a crazy leer as he explained his own thoughts. It was as if he was talking to himself.

" Y-yes.. I suppose that's right, but how is it possible? " Mika chimed in.

He chuckled, sounding revealed. " Honestly? Vampires are everywhere. It isn't hard to be convincing when you are about to tear them to shreds. "

" How did you survive a bite from a Vampire without killing your wolf?" Axton asked astonished. It was known that other races existed, but they all left each other alone. Surviving a bite was never thought possible. Mainly because no one had done so.

" My wolf stopped talking to me a long time ago Angel.. Back when I fell for a girl, and killed my mate. I don't care. I can still transform, and I don't need him. I'm perfectly fine on my own. " His voice had began to change again. It grew hard, rough, and somewhat lonely.

Axton ran his hand down the deranged alpha's arm. " Shh... I didn't mean to upset you." He leaned down brushing his lips across Darius's temple acting hard. Trying not to gag.

Wolfe snickered.

He leaned into it, and sighed softly. " I know Angel. It's a touchy subject. Please, excuse the mess. We'll have to have our room cleaned later. " He shoved the door open with his foot, and sat the girls down in front of him. The door closed with a click, and the lock's click echoed in every corner.

Darius walked on in, unbuttoning his shirt. He needed out of the bloody clothes. They were getting stiff. " Come in Little Ones. Get comfy. The bed is blood free, but I'm afraid everything else.... well.. you have eyes. " He chuckled darkly undressing slowly. Watching their reactions.

Mika gasped in horror. She covered her mouth, and turned into Axton. He was shocked as well.

The bastard truly did this? Fucking hell, the half vampire bastard was really a hybrid. Or just insane. No one in their right mind, no one with a shreds of their right mind could do this guilt free. Without any remorse at all. This must have been hell for Mika to see. Darius knew what he was doing by bringing them here to see this. All alphas knew the trick.

Intimidation.

This alpha though, didn't plan on letting it get to him.

Blood covered almost every surface to some extent. Corpses were left around. Most looked completely drained of blood. Some were not, but rather left in puddles of blood. " What a waste.. " he sighed.

He guided Mika over to the bed hesitantly. Honestly he wanted nothing to do with that bed. Or that thing getting ready for it. They didn't have a choice though.

" Tonight my darlings, I'm afraid I'm rather tired. We'll be going to bed. Showers first though. I don't want our bed dirty. " He paused eyeing them from head to toe. They squirmed, and he smiled.

"I'm going first, and then the two of you can go together. I'll have someone clean a little while your taking baths. " He grinned, and went off on his own. " Clothes will be waiting for you in the bathroom. " He called over his shoulder to his little Angels.

Axton sunk down on the edge of the bed with Mika. He didn't dare drop his act though. " We are in the middle of a vampire hybrid den Mika. We have to be careful. He is insane. Without his wolf hes lost it. " he whispered softly.

" I don't think he has advanced hearing though; we would have already been caught. Goddess knows how many rouges hes tried to turn as well. Our escape will have to be swift. I really hope Jayce is on his way. " He sighed and kept a cautious eye on the corpses. He didn't trust they weren't turning as they spoke.

She nodded. " Me to. Darius is insane... I won't lose Jayce either. " she said gathering herself. " I just want those things out of here. "

" Those things are girls. " he answered. He didn't like the way she spoke about them. The distaste clear in his voice.

" Not anymore. And, disassociation helps the fear go away. I'm looking forward to a shower, but not so much sleeping next to him and a bunch of dead girls that were alive when we got here.. "

" I get it. I just saw them alive when I was brought in two days ago." He sighed softly. He heard the shower stop. " That was quick..." he muttered before clearing his throat. " Too bad...they didn't know how good they had it. "

Mika glanced up, and he nodded backwards. She sat up straight, and kept her chin up. " They didn't. But, that doesn't mean this should have happened. It's wrong. It's wrong of someone to play the reapers part. " she spat as bitterly as she felt. Venom oozed from her.

Darius snickered walking out in a pair of shorts. He dried his hair a little before his eyes landed on Mika. " Darling, I told you before. They had to be punished. Besides. You two now have the entire room. No sharing with any other girl. The finest clothing you could want. Anything you'd want to eat. I'll give you the world. "

She turned away from him, causing him to laugh. " Go take baths darlings. Its bed time soon. Dont take long. " He ordered softly.

Axton took her hand, and stood. He smiled at Darius as he made his way to the bathroom dragging Mika with him.

As soon as he closed and locked the bathroom door he gagged. Literally. " Ugh.... I'm going to need counseling. Even worse my wolf said he wouldn't talk to me until his pride is healed. What a big hero he is. " he rolled his eyes dramatically.

Mika giggled, and started to laugh quietly. " Oh poor little wolf. This must be torture. " she calmed herself, and began to run the hot water. She turned the shower on. " I can't wait to see you in what hes picked out for us.. " she snickered. Even with the weight of the situation seeing Axton in lingerie would be absolutely hilarious.

Axton went over to the counter top. " Hell the fuck no!" He sneered. " I haven't ever seen something that revealing before. I'm not about to wear it! I'm supposed to see it be worn!"

" I.. do t think you have... a choice! " she laughed until her cheek were pink. " I mean I'm used to clothing like that.. you on the other hand...your poor wolf is going to be dying inside." She joked playfully.

" Yeah yeah... better turn around before you see something you don't wanna. " he stuck his tongue out wiggling out of his clothes.

She squealed and turned quickly. " The only one I wanna see like that is Jayce..." she whispered covering her eyes. She smirked, " You could always play the cute girly guy thing, and see if hes into it instead. "

Axton snickered, " I just might take you up on that. " he said getting in the shower. " I'll make it quick so you can have a longer shower. " he muttered grumpily.

" It doesn't fit right! "

" It does.. trust me. It's supposed to do that."

" I will never. I mean this.. NEVER, make or ask my Luna to wear this crap!" He hissed as Mika tied the back for him.

" Oh hush. She'll probably want to..." She blushed brightly. " I know I wanted to .."

" Nope. I'll just wear my old clothes. "

" He won't let you, and I'm pretty sure he'd change you himself. Do ya want that Axton?" She asked in a harsh whisper.

He sighed and crossed his arms over his pretty much bare chest. His back was the same down to the top of his butt. " Great. This so isn't even my type of thing. " he said in a rather girly peeved tone.

" You look adorable. " she said trying to hold in laughter. She was in a matching nighty. Both were silky, and came to their upper thighs. Hers was a soft purple, while his was grey.

He rolled his eyes. " I'm the one who should be saying that. This is way worse than any swimming suit. "

She snickered. " I've never had one this revealing, and I normally sleep in a shirt so... I agree. But, at least its soft. " She shrugged softly.

A knock on the door interrupted them. " Time is up girls. Come on out. "

Axton gave the door a dirty look and he sighed going over to it. " Ima lay Into him.."

Darius watched the door swing open and he smirked down at the little blonde. " Oh? You are going to lay into me? "

" What the hell is this little skimpy thing? We're classy not trashy. " he crossed his arms.

" I think they look rather beautiful on you two. They compliment your skin tones, show off your best features, and make you look irresistible. " He leaned down next to her ear.

He blushed. Honestly blushed. This man had to go down. He had to much charm for his own good. " Thank you. I guess." He grumbled.

Darius swooped him up, and motioned for Mika. She slowly walked towards them. Her eyes shadowed with fake shyness. Axton could see her grinding her teeth, and she nearly drew blood from digging her nails into her skin.

" Are you mad about it to Love?" He asked a disgusting grin spreading across his face.

" No. I'm pissed about you killing innocent girls. " she stood just out of his reach. A wind fluttered around her, and she was in his arms as well.

He sighed, " If it helps girl. Not all of them died. I spared them when I thought of you waiting on me. If only for you to quell your anger at me quicker. "

She huffed. " I guess it's a start. " she muttered crossing her arms over her chest.

He sat them down on the bed. The room was clear of bodies and a lot of blood. " So. Tell me your names."

Axton looked up at him, " Linzie. " he said off the top of his head.

Mika was still pissed, and she was holding a grudge. She decided she was going to put him in his place soon. She scoffed. " Mika. Mika Shenandoah. "

Darius had turned to get them drinks. Something to hopefully take tension off. Linzie was the cute blonde. He nodded his head taking note.

However, he slowly turned around when his lovely brunette said her name. " Mika...?" He whispered softly.

She sat there in all of her fiery glory. The same long, silky, brown hair. The same blue green eyes. The same pissed off look. " My god. I've had you for weeks...?" he whispered once more. The glass in his hand dropped, and shattered across the floor.

He noticed the girl staring at her like she had lost her mind. No doubt they had been talking. He thought nothing more of it.

" Why didn't you say something before? I could have taken you out of all of that filth! " he both asked and yelled. " My first and only choice for Luna." He looked at Linzie. " Of course I'll keep you as well. Especially since she seems so happy around you. " He smiled sickeningly.

Darius seemed more like himself than he had this entire time. She was glad, but the crazed look was still there. In the back of his eyes, it was laying in wait. " We've been through this before Darius. " she said her tone icy and sharp.

He laughed, " You could have cut me with that sentence alone. " He was in front of her in a heartbeat. " Too bad it didn't." He lifted her chin, and stared into her eyes. " You will be mine. We will rule this pathetic world. Rebuilding it as it's God and Goddess. "

His eyes trailed down her neck. " Ugh.. that mark will have to go. Its sickening. I'll make sure he suffers for marring your beautiful skin. But, not tonight. Not while you heal from what you've been through. "

" How considerate Asshole. " she spat. Mika refused to back down. She was done with the act she had to put on. She was still scared of the crazy of him, but more pissed that he was doing this.

" You'll give in eventually. I let girls live. Put them back with the others. Let you have your friend. Eventually you will see everything I do is for you. Everyone I've killed was for us. Every dream you have.. I'll make come true. "

She rolled her eyes. " Yeah. And I'm a fairy. " she huffed. Darius was gone for a second, and then back with two glasses. Axton took his, so she reluctantly took hers. " Every wish huh? Go die. Give me back. "

" That I can't do. Sorry beautiful. "

" What's in it?" She asked eyeing her glass of clear icy liquid.

Darius smirked. " I wouldn't dream of drugging you. I've been terrible enough to you. It's just cold water. Both of them." He assured.

" It better be or I'll kick your ass harder than when we were kids. " she promised. He just nodded, and fidgeted with his hands like a nervous school boy. They drank it thankful for it. Cold water felt amazing after being locked away with scraps and barely baby water at all.

" Let's get some rest. Yeah?" He asked quietly.

Axton was intrigued. Darius was different. He was really trying to get her on his good side. He must really have wanted her to like him the way he liked her. When Darius laid back in the middle of the bed he gulped, and crawled up to him. He gave Mika a look, and smiled softly.

She gave an annoyed sigh, and stood. She walked to the other side, and unwillingly laid down. She was as far away from him as she could be. " I still hate you. " she whispered.

A soft whimper came from him, and he let her lay away from him. " Goodnight Linzie. Goodnight ... My Love." He whispered.

Mika sighed, and tried her best to stay away. As did Axton. Both were extremely uncomfortable. Eventually sleep over took her, and all she could hope for was Jayce. She seemed to occupy Darius for now, but taking him down would be entirely different.

Axton remained awake longer. He sighed, and let himself go to sleep for a while. They both needed energy to pull this off. It, if possible, just got a lot harder to deal with Darius. He'd already showed his true colors to them. His crazy colors. This love struck side would only hold it off for so long. Then what would happen? What was going to happen when he snapped?

Mika yawned and sat up. Axton was already up, looking our of windows. Darius was gone. She sighed, and fell backwards. " Tell me he left clothes..." she whined. She didn't want to stay in this cloth any longer than she had to around Darius or Axton.

Axton nodded. " Yeah. Over there in the closet. I was awake when he left. He's been training with the rouges. Have to admit. He is a good trainer. " he crossed his arms.

Mika noticed he was dressed, or rather how he was dressed. She smiled. " You look ravishing in that evening gown."

He looked back at her and smirked playfully. " So will you. That's all there is in there. " he pointed to the closet door.

She groaned. " Classy fellow ain't he?" She asked going to pick one out. She didn't give a crap what color it was or what it looked like. It was better than this nighty. Much better.

The two of them tried to pry open windows, and explore the floors open to them. Any way out was a good way out right now. Sadly, there was no way out.

" Gahhh! This isn't getting us anywhere. Every window is nailed shut or boarded up. Every door is locked except the closets or bathrooms. The only good thing is the damn kitchen. " She laid her head down on the cool tile of the island. " Thish feels good. "

He leaned against it himself. " Well. At least we've eaten something good. Better than the slop they fed us before." He shrugged propping his head up with his hands.

The kitchen door opened, letting a sweaty Darius in. He smiled at them for a moment, and came up behind Mika.

She scrunched up her nose. " You smell like wet dog and chemicals. Go take a damn shower. "

He just laughed, and went upstairs. She grunted and rolled her eyes at him. " I hate you. "

Axton laughed a little. " Good insult. " he smiled and sighed. " He's a speed freak. He'll be back soon. We both know he wants your mark gone. " He glanced at her mark seriously. There was no easy way to remove a mark. Force. That was the only way he knew.

She nodded, " I know. " What else could she say? Honestly she had no say in it. If they didn't figure a way out at least. They had searched forever trying to find one. Axton had repeatedly tripped over his dress, and it made her smile. The boy looked good, but wasn't graceful at all.

He leaned over and patted her shoulder. " It'll be okay. Promise. " he said softly being himself.

He'd dropped his act without checking for Darius. A throat being cleared was all they heard. Both of them shot up together.

His smile was pure joy. " I knew I recognized the way you looked at Mika. " He was leaning against the wall at the bottom of the stairs. " Not that I can blame you. Or her. She is rather fond of you. " His eye darted between them.

He walked around the island, around both of them. He stopped behind Axton, " I even made you blush. I wonder... You know I'm still going to keep you. Such an angelic boy, beautiful really. I can handle you as well. The raw pleasure I could give you. . .

Honestly, I don't like the thought of sharing her. I would though, with you. Don't deny how you've looked at her. You would rather enjoy it after adjusting I think. " he chuckled darkly.

" Why would I give into you? I'm not bi either. Sorry big boy, I dont swing that way. " He said turning to keep his back towards the island rather than Darius.

" You would in time. Its exhilarating to get out of ones comfort zone. Plus I would take very good care of you. That's all you are even after isn't it? Someone to love you? Care for you?
" He was purposely poking at a sensitive spot. Darius was no fool. He did his homework.

" No it isn't! I can take care of myself. I don't need you to be my mother. "

" I would even make you my beta. You are far more powerful than any rouge. Try as i might they are just so weak. " He went on ignoring Axton's protests. He planned to keep planting seeds of doubt in the boys mind.

" I am an alpha! I have people who rely on me, and I don't need to be a beta to a rouge pack! "

Darius pinned Axton to the island, " You aren't even there half of the time. They rely on your beta. Why would they care if you disappeared? This is raw power we are working for. We are going to obtain the power to rule every single werewolf in the world. Obliterate humans. Kill creatures who don't submit. " He lifted the little alphas face so he had to look at him. " Tell me you don't want that?"

Axton gulped. It was a tempting offer. If he had snapped he might just take him up on it to. He knew better though. He was taught better. " You're right. I've been a bad alpha. I deserve to be a beta, but my people will forgive me. "

" Will they? Sleep on it tonight. With me of course. " He chuckled and winked. " And about your mark Mika. I believe it's time to rid you of it. " Darius was smug. He really had Axton confused and he would use it to his advantage. Or so he thought. It seemed like he had sent the young alpha's mind into a whirlwind.

" Axton. Bring her upstairs. We'll mark her together. She'll be ours, amd ours alone. Once we get rid of that mark. " He chuckled softly.

The want was displayed across the blonde's face. His eyes were darkening. His thought were slipping.

Axton sighed. He hung his head, and turned towards Mika. His face shadowed with doubt and want. " Mika.. I.. " he bit his lip, and went around to her. " Don't hate me. " he pleaded before tossing her over his shoulder.

" What?! Axton put me down right now! No! " she kicked and squirmed, but his grip was to tight. She felt her hope shatter.

" This boy better be faking! We'll kill him..."

" I'll strangle him in his sleep Nina. "

She growled whe he sat her gently down. Axton stepped back until he was next to dresser. The glass from the night before was still shattered on the floor. He bent down to clean it up, and placed the pieces on the dresser.

Darius watched them. His smirk firmly in place. " Now. Time to claim what's ours. " He stalked close to Mika, and leaned over her pressing her into the bed. Axton walked over, and sat next to her. " Good boy. Wait until I'm finished. "

Axton nodded, and looked away. He gritted his teeth, and watched darius lean down until his vision was obscured from the side. He gripped his hand into a fist, so tightly he almost bled.

Darius was so close. He could taste her on the tip of his tongue. She smelled delicious as well. The blood that flowed just below beckoned him like no other temptation ever had.

Suddenly a sharp pain started in his neck, and roughly went down his spine. He howled with pain and jerked back from Mika to see Axton tower over him. He shook with fury while Darius slipped down a little.

" Hands off my little sister bitch. " Axton growled tossing the crystal shard at Darius. " No one gets to do that besides her mate. "

Darius snarled sounding quite animalistic. His body began to jerk and twist. He was taking a sickening transformation. " I'll kill you. I'll kill you! " he laughed manically as he jumped forward at Axton bursting into a wolf like creature.

Axton lunged as well, taking on his wolf's form. The two snarled, and jumped at each other's throats. They clawed, and snapped until they were each bloody and hurt. It was all happening so fast Mika didn't have time to react. She watched. Shock rooted her firmly in place.

Darius bit down on Axton's throat, and tossed him to the side. He hit the wall so hard that he changed back, amd slid down onto the floor. Darius changed back as well, and walked towards him.

" I tried to be nice! I tried to include you. Give you the girl, the power, the people. But no! And you. " he turned pointing at Mika. " You won't accept me either will you?! You're just like the rest of them! Never satisfied with what I can give you! " He hung his head for a moment.

" Guess I'm going to have to punish you as well my beautifu Mika. Don't worry. I won't kill you. But, you will wish for death. Once I break you, you'll beg for me. Only then will I take you, and give you everything.." He pressed his foot into Axton's shoulder causing him to cry out in pain.

" You are a monster. " she whispered blinking. She snapped out of her daze, and back into her own skin with a hard realization. He was fixing to kill Axton.

" You just now figured that out?" He asked with a grim smirk. " Too bad. I thought you were smarter. " He shrugged.

He went back to torturing Axton. Taking great pleasure in it to. She stood, getting her courage and letting her anger bubble. " Get off of my brother. " she snapped offering. Axton a small smile. Anything to give him strength.

He shot over to her in an instant. " Or else what Mika?" His hand snaked it's way to her throat, and he held her close. " Will you kill me? The same way you killed my rouge when he went for Jayce? Hmm? Are you stronger than me? Can you really beat me without that little brat?" He asked quietly tossing her at Axton.

She landed with a thud, and winced. She lunged at him again anyway, determined to keep them alive at least. " I did it once. I'll do it again! "

" I will break you! " He snapped aiming to hit her. She dodged, and he swiped her legs out from under her. " Not good enough Mika!"

She grunted, and wrapped her legs around him before pulling herself up, and head butting him. Firey pain flew through her, and he backed away letting her go.

Darius held his head. " That actually hurt. " he growled before snickering. He walked towards her while she was dazed, and picked her up by her throat again. " Allow me to return the favor Love. " he growled softly lowering his head to gain another whiff of her delicious scent. " Did you really think you stood a chance? That you could pull this off, and leave?"

She smirked and started to laugh. Mika had a bloody nose from the hit she landed, and she was hanging limply in his hand. It was hard to breathe, but she heard faint yelling below. He pulled back to look at her. " I don't have to anymore. " she rasped, " Because they caught our scent. He caught... my scent..." she whispered with a grin.

Darius turned towards the door to the cells, and the door shot open at the same time. Jayce stood there, and more feet trailed behind him. Darius cursed under his breath. " Stupid girl! " he threw her against Axton again.

Jayce growled seeing his mate tossed around like a rag doll. She was bloody, and so was Axton. " You're going to die Darius. You violated a pact, and killed multiple people. You are a murderer."

" So what? I got away with it for this long. You think you amd a few other guys will best me? I'm a ..."

" Hybrid. We know. While there isnt any rules against it, you've abused the power of it. " Jayce said watching him back towards a window. " The vampires have agreed that you should be subject to both sides of our laws. Theirs and ours. I should warn you. The laws they have are much less forgiving than our own. "

Mika came around and crawled over to the shiny shard Axton used earlier. Stupid bastard wasn't going to toss her around like he owned her. She plunged it into the back of his knee, and watched him fall to the floor holding it. She wouldn't allow him yo escape. Not after all of this. " Goodbye Darius. " She said watching him with an icy stare. " Go to hell. "

Others reached the room, and rushed in. They surrounded the fool, and restrained him. Jayce ordered him to be taken away. " Let Farven have him. I'm sure he would love to handle the man who killed his friends. And remind him that the vampires have requested his presence as well."

Mika checked on Axton. She sighed. " Are you okay? Did he have venom?" She asked worried. Her fingers touched the bite amd he yelped.

" D-don't touch..." he whimpered. " Not in wolf form. If that's what you call that thing. I would have felt it immediately. " he sighed and leaned against her. He didn't care about a jealous alpha right now. " I'm just glad it's over. "

Jason, Carter, and Rico came in. " what the hell happened here?" Carter asked looking dumbfounded.

They exchanged a look, and burst into giggles. " Its a long story." Axton said bracing himself against the wall. He slowly scooted up.

Jayce sighed. " Want some clothes Axton?" He asked rolling his eyes as he went over to pick up Mika. " God it feels good to hold you again. Next time I'm going with you. " he rested his head on her shoulder.

Axton chuckled. " Ehh. I'll make due with a dress. Came in with a skirt anyway. " he shrugged rummaging around the room. After ripping a long dress he pulled it on. His wound had started to heal better. It was almost not sore now. He flipped his hair and looked at his nails for good measure. " I make this look good. "

" I'd hit it. " Jason said smirking playfully.

Axton paled a little. " Look here. I've been hit on once today. I dont think I can handle that again. "

Mika laughed. " Hey Jayce, he licked me... and I had to take a shower with him, and sleep next to him..." she pouted a little.

Jayce's eyes darkened. " What was that?" He asked getting rather pissed.

" Hey! Don't say it like that! First of all she was in a cell for two weeks. She tasted like.. ugh.. so don't kill me over that. It was the only way he would believe me and bring us both. Second he made us. And I gave her privacy! I had to wear a fucking short ass lingerie thing for that bastard! And third he forced us to sleep in the same bed. "

Jayce relaxed and Mika laughed. " He fought me the whole time... saying that it wasn't on right. Though he looked adorable. " she stuck her tongue out at them and sighed softly. " I wanna go home. "

" Mika.. that was dirty. I'll have to do something about that. " Jayce smirked, his eyes smoldering and nearly black.

She blushed, " Sorry Koy. " she said touching his cheek gently.

He shook his head. " Not completely forgiven. But it's a start. Now.. let's get out of here. You can tell us all about this adventure on the way home. "

She frowned and sighed. " Fine. But, you aren't forgiven either. " she crossed her arms.

He looked shocked. " Why! What did I do?"

" It took your ass three days to find us after I sent you the GPS cords. " Axton said chiming in for Mika. " That's why. "

Jayce chewed on his lip for a moment. " W-well... we aren't trackers. And.. we kind of got lost. " he sighed and started out. " Sorry guys. We should have let the trackers go first. We were worried though. "

" Its fine. We managed. How is Sike?" Axton asked walking with Jason's help. He kept catching him stare. " Take a picture. I'm getting the extensions taken out when we get home!" He snapped.

Jason laughed. " You would be my type if you were a girl for real. To bad I dont swing that way, and I know you to well. " he chuckled. " Way to well."

Jayce snickered at his friends. " He is fine now. Woke up a day ago. Most of his injuries are healed or almost healed. Lianna is relieved. "

Jayce looked lost in thought for some time. " I guess these girls will be taken to packs to be taken care of and find new homes. "

Mika sniffled. " He killed so many... because they weren't happy. "

He nodded. " We found them. They are being buried. It's the least we can do. We don't know where they all came from, so we cant return them. Some are gravely injured and barely clinging to life. The other alphas are tending to them. " He was proud that the others listened so well to his team. They were able to make this massive recovery effort because they worked together.

" He brought you all the way to No Man's Land. The abandoned village I told you about. Farven has been on edge since we got here. "

" I didn't tell her where we were either Jayce. I figured it would be best to keep it secret. Just in case someone caught onto me. "

Rico nodded, " Probably smart. "

She rolled her eyes, " Over protective smart asses. " It was sobering though. So many lives were lost, and so many spared. All because they looked like Mika somehow. Because an alpha went rouge. Crazy. Insane.

She laid against Jayce, and sighed softly. It was near this area that she meet Jayce. A cold, unforgiving, ruthless alpha. He didn't even have much room for her when they met. A mild interest if you'd call it that. Yet here they were again. Working together with leaders from all over the country to bring her and a good chunk of the female wolf population home safe.

They had even worked with vampires. Normally they didn't even like each other enough to be in the same room. Let alone cooperate to being down a mad man.

" Let's go home..." she said again.

Mika told them about how she ended up there. The rouge's being sickly sweet. Being tossed in with the others. How she waited.

Axton took over when he came in. And reported the rest. Jayce didn't like that Axton was so close, but he knew he looked up to Mika as a sister though she wasn't. "A truly sick man. " he said bringing her closer than before.

" He's gone. They killed him in the field and burned him for good measure since he was a hybrid. Farven also mentioned he made a friend. Something about an old flame? A truly scary man." Carter said looking at his phone. He shuddered softly at the thought of the old man. He just creeped him out.

" About time" Ricardo said watching the trees go by. " Though I agree on the creep factor there. " He chuckled.
Mika stretched out across her seat with Jayce. Her feet ended up in his lap. And he jumped looking down. He glanced over to her. " Good to see her rest. " He said softly wondering how he ended up like this.

Axton rested his hands on her side. He was sitting in the middle next to Jayce who insisted on holding Mika. Rico to his left. " Yes it is." he agreed.

"Listen, Don't tell her, but she really helped the most. I wouldn't have had the guts to play a girl like I did if it weren't for her. She was a real Luna to those girls to. She stitched their wounds, doctored them, gave them her food, and even comforted them. That's just what I saw. One older lady told me more. It was truly amazing."

Jayce smiled at his beautiful mate. " She's changed the world. They'll remember her for those things. The alpha's will remember her for those things. I do believe the run will be quite different now. New standards, a new role model. Shes so brave. " he played with her hair as she slept. " My brave Little Mate. " He whispered lovingly.
