SEPTEMBER

Jayce took Mika back to the pack house. He carried her up to their room after asking Sike to handle the Crystalleaf Hunters. He just made sure Sike could be ripped away from his mate long enough to get the rest of the Crystalleaf pack settled, and then settle her as well.

A new hunting division.. That was going to come in handy. Very handy. He had never thought about a hunter group, but mainly because the pack was still pretty well off. Hunting food would be better than just buying it. It would also assure that pack assets would continue to thrive and be spent better elsewhere.

He, like most respected and smart Alphas, invested in local businesses and corporations in the nearby towns. He spread his little web of investments out as well, so that he had a better chance of being able to have fall back plans. The pack had nothing to worry about financially. He even had a couple of those little black credit cards he couldn't keep up with well.

They stayed in his office, in a safe. It was better that way. Yet, he could cringe at how bad his pack really was. Decrepit, falling apart at the seams, losing more and more people everyday... it was terrible.

Anyway the point was, that he had just trained fighters to kill rouges and protect the people. He had done it half heartedly as well. Time to step up. Rouges were getting worse every day in other places it seemed.

Rouges.

His past haunted him. Or rather his great grandfather's past. He huffed and roughly ran a hand through his hair after setting her down in front of the alpha door. He'd done so roughly, and winced when she yelped a little. He wasn't easy on her body today or yesterday.. he should have taken that to thought.

" Oh, well boy. Time for me to step up.."

" Don't you dare..."

" You'll be back soon, and I doubt you were letting her off easy anyway. It might seem like a stupid punishment I came up with, but she'll get the messages loud and clear. Now shut up, and let me handle this."

" Asshole. Be gentle with her. . We've been rough enough already. "

" I beg to differ, but I can't be mean to her. I don't have an actual desire to be mean. Go away. Your own punishment is to be away from her for a while. " his wolf gained dominant control, and forced Jayce quiet.

" So.. that alpha door. You are marked now. It will open for you of you have this, and I am entrusting it to you. Do not lose it. I will punish you. Getting another one will be a pain, and put us and the pack in danger. As Luna if someone gets to you, it would mean the downfall of the Alpha. Drive us insane. Sike would have his hands full trying to keep us together, and that Love, would be a very hard thing to do. I'm beginning to think I should put locks on the windows to.." He paused his amber eyes going rather dark.

" Which reminds me. You have broken some important rules. That results in punishment. Even for my Luna. "

She looked dumbfounded. " But.. but Jayce. That was my pack before I came here! I had every right to keep you from ripping my father apart! We have a very specific code we used to keep in contact! I heard it. They were scared. " He put his finger up to her lips gently. It was an act so slow she froze instantly.

" I'm not asking for excuses. You have a few things I should punish you for, and you've just added talking back to that. " he walked into the room with her behind him.

The door closed, and she flinched. He eyed her, his dark eyes lingering over her body. More specifically her body in his clothes. His wolf wanted nothing more than what Jayce wanted, but he couldn't. Not yet.

He sighed, " You have refused to listen by continuously running outside of the boarders. Do you admit this?"

" I didn't kno-"

" Do you admit this?"

She looked down playing with her hand in front of her. " Yes.. but you already punished me for that."

" Yes.. but that isn't the point of this conversation. " he said sharply. His wolf was rather enjoying her squirm. Of course he wasn't going to stop this. He did have to make a point.
" Moving on, you attacked something with out permission. Do you agree? "

She was going to fight back, but something in his eyes told her not to. " Yes." She spat her attitude wanting to show.

He smirked. Koy liked her attitude, " And, after chewing you out over it, I rewarded you greatly for saving my life. Didn't I My Lovely Luna?"

" Yes.." the word left her breathlessly as she struggled not to let her mind go there. He knew though. He enjoyed that very much. He tapped into her mind easily, and she had to work on his. Koy saw her struggle, and made a mental note to fix their mind link once and for all. She would need it soon, and the stronger the better.

" I marked you.. mated you.. fell for you finally after fighting myself for a long time... Longer than needed for soulmates made for each other to be fighting. I figured I had punished myself enough, but who am I kidding?

I'm far to rough with you, and I can't help but love it. Being his inner wolf, I'm punishing him by not letting him do the talking. We work together for the most part, but sometimes I need to do the hard stuff. This time I'm enjoying the fun part.

You can call me Koy. Honestly, it'll ease my anger when I show my temper. A tip for the future. "

He chuckled darkly and seductively, her cheeks flushed. She had a feeling this was happening, and she was scared at first. Now, she was curious, furious, and well still scared.. He wasn't done yet either.

He was as interesting as they both were mysterious. A little late to introduce himself.. but at least she knew now. Granted she was as well. Mika was afraid to speak out of turn right now, but she intended to. " Koy? " His eyes flashed up to her own. " My wolf is Nina. She doesn't speak a lot.. "

" She has to me. Only a few times. We have seen each other a few times, but I'll fix that. " He said his eyes softened a little, but not for long. "Moving on. How you took my clothes. " his voice purred softly as a rumble in his chest sounded, " Normally I would punish people for taking them unless I said to. Not you though, but later." He said dismissing it quickly. He had to curve his desires to hear her scream his name. Have her under him in absolute pleasure.

" Now you refused to rest and jumped out of the window. Correct? " he asked sitting down in a leather chair next to the bookcase. He held his hands in front of him, leaning back in the chair, intertwining his fingers, and watching her intently waiting for her answer.

She gulped, he was so intimidating like this. Her knees felt like they were shaking, and she felt like melting. Mika held her hands behind her back, but he would know what she felt. The look on his face said he already did know. She loved it and hated it. He was reprimanding her right? "Y-yes?"

"Then you ran from your security detail," his eyes went pitch black, " Shifted in front of them out of your clothes and ran...Or rather out ran them." He stated. His knuckles were almost white.

" This one is the most punishable. No one. I mean absolutely no one will see my mate without clothes. I would rip them to shreds. " he seethed. " This time I will let them go. They didn't expect you. You will not be so lucky. "

She jumped, and looked down chewing her lip when his voice boomed. " I.. I'm sorry. " she whispered.

" I don't accept that apology. You are still hurt, and healing from my mark. It isn't exactly a walk in the park mark. It hurt. It holds power. You were from a weaker pack. I don't mean to offend you, but even your own father admits his weakness. He is bold, but weak. I guess I shouldn't say weak. As a temporary Alpha his power grew enough to get them here..."

His eyes locked onto her lips. " Stop that before I make you. " he threatened softly. His voice showed lust mixed with his anger. " Do you admit this as well Mika?"

She felt sparks at her name.. that look. She shuddered, " Yes Koy. I do agree. I did that even after being warned against rouges. " She stated her resolve strong. Mika locked eyes with this mysterious wolf.

She would accept whatever he wanted to throw her way. She wasn't weak like he said, and she would prove it. Sometimes you didn't have to fight to be strong. Intelligence was strength as well.

"Asshole has guts to say that. " Nina said softly.

She just huffed. " I'm not weak Koy. I think you know this. "

He gave her a rather sexy grin, " Come to me Mika. " he spoke softly. " I will reward your honesty. " He waved her to him, and she slowly walked to him. Mika was a bold girl, " I didn't mean you were weak. Just weaker. Much weaker than me honestly. But, mentality, speed, ability, and beauty can be strength as well. " He pulled her into his lap.

" Good Luna. Once you've rested and healed you'll be a lot stronger as well. " he mused kissing her mark. She sighed lightly, and he kissed it again. It gained him a soft moan. He nodded in approval and turned her cheek with a finger to gain access to her soft inviting lips. " Excellent Love. " he whispered. Just a short kiss. Her dissatisfaction was clear and he chuckled.

" Lastly, you stopped me from defending my turf, interrupted a diplomatic process that has been in place since this pack was founded, and all of this in front of my pack. " he said causing the fear to surface in her eyes again.

" You have to be punished for that as well. " he spoke picking her up and walking her to their bed. He sat her down.

" For shifting in front of someone so slowly, being so drained, and barley giving them a glimpse of this fair skin.. " His eyes trailed before coming back up to rest on her own eyes, " You are not to leave this room.. hmm no this bed.. until Saturday. You ask to use the bathroom. I bring you food. You can be as bored as you want. Leave it and I will extend your punishment, and add to it with teases.. It could be as simple as letting you watch me eat without you, or even.. more. " his eyes wandered with a smirk.

His threat was very serious. He figured she got that. Her face had flushed brightly under his gaze, and she stiffened. " As for the ceremonies, I will come and get you. This is the only exception. It's back to bed after. Everything will be done with us or by us. If you're good, and handle this well, I might be lenient. "

" But.. I'll be so bored.. and its embarrassing to have to ask for permission Koy! I am not a child!"

He pinned her against his head board with her arms by her sides. " You have been acting like one. Children do things on whim. A Luna thinks shit through before she acts. " he said his tone harsh as he tapped the side of her head gently. " You want me to treat you like an adult? Act like one. I understand your will is strong. I understand you are hard headed, but there is more to being a Luna than doing what you think is right! Talk to me. Consult with me! Learn to use your mind link! You are hesitating to commit fully to me, that is why you can't connect to my mind, or Jayce's. You don't want to accept something. We just can't figure out what! That's why your father could have been fatally hurt. I do not tolerate rouges within my territory. He was acting like a rouge. "

She whimpered at him. Scared. Terrified really of hearing what he said, and she was hurt. He could feel her hesitation. It was a big job! Mika was just now fixing to turn twenty! He had at least five years on her, and was raised to rule.

She was raised to be a hunter. She didn't want to feel hurt, but she didn't know how to be a Luna. " I will fail you.. " she whispered refusing to meet his eyes until a rough hand forced her to do so. His lips met her own with a crushing passion.

He broke his kiss, looking her in the eye forcing her to meet his eyes. " I wouldn't have marked you like," he paused to let his finger brush against his mark sitting perfectly on her neck, " This if I thought you would fail as a Luna. I would have waited until you were ready. Don't let it hold you back. Though, I'm glad I didn't reject you when I felt so heartless and lost. I've felt your love. I've felt you submit to me willingly, and I've done so to you. I know you'll be a great Luna. You are more than willing to fight for me and take someone down to save me. That is a strong trait for a Luna to have. Its dangerous, and sexy. I love it. " he whispered into her ear.

"Now open your beautiful mind, and listen. Hear me. Accept me. Both you, and Nina."

She gasped and shuddered with wonderful chills. Suddenly his harsh tone wasn't so harsh. It was husky near her ear. She closed her eyes. He was so right. She had to accept him, and leave her fears behind. She had been a decent Luna already right?

She might not have met many pack members, but she had indeed saved him from a lot of pain, cleaned the pack house, learned to cook for him.. Plus he was a huge softie. They both were. He loved her. They both did. She was made for him. She and Nina were. He was made for her. He and Koy both. He had never emotionally hurt her.

The only time he had hurt her was when he held her wrists to tightly. It was a small bruise at that, and to get a point across.. A stupid point, but a point. In fact she'd never seen him fight at all. She imagined he was ruthless and cunning. That wasn't his personality though, and she knew it. Never judge a book and all..

Suddenly she felt something tugging at her mind. Her wolf danced and pounced. 'Yay you are listening! You are accepting! Keep going! Keep going!' Nina wasn't being sarcastic. In fact she was overjoyed.

She pushed on.. and listened. His voice drifted through my mind. Telling her to listen. She felt him smile brightly.

"Its about time Mika. "

He looked at her finally, and rested his forehead on hers.

He touched her forehead with his own, " Never forget to listen for me. Use this to call me if I'm not around. You can even beg during your punishment.. and I might give in a little. " he smirked.

She gaped at him, " I still can't get out of bed for two days???"

He chuckled his eyes a dark amber again, " No. But, I might let you take baths with me If you ask nice. It wouldn't be a punishment if I let you off the hook. I'm still the alpha. I have to be sure my pack knows they can't just get out of line. " He shrugged. " I'm gonna enjoy it.~" He mused playfully.

"Sadistic bastard. " She crossed her arms and chewed on her lip.

In a flash he pulled her into a deep kiss holding her close to him by the back of her neck. " I warned you Love." He stopped and left her wide eyed and embarrassed by his sudden kiss.

" Those lips tempt me. I love to taste them. Be careful or I'll show you how much they do so. " Jayce turned to leave and stopped by the door.

" Oh, and the final punishment. I know most Luna's take care of house matters, kids, and women. However you will not. Not entirely really. Most of them train just like men. So you'll still be able to help them. " he smirked evilly.

" Starting Saturday, you will be a trainer. You are going to help my warriors and boarder control with speed and agility training. I've never seen a girl so fast. I dare say you are faster than me. You are agile as and as well. Its stunning. Guess i will be training with you to Love. Be ready. Oh, and be good so we can start on time. Good way to let you get to know the pack. " Koy smiled a wolf grin.

She was shocked. He could tell she had a problem with crowds. Good. This way she'd get over that a little faster. She had nothing to fear really. She was a stunning girl, and he knew she was going to be a kick ass first take names later Luna.

" What about the girls? My pack?" She asked quietly.

" They will be training to. Girls train next to us. The pack will be expected to follow the rules and will train as well. We are a strong pack. A family not to be messed with. We'll get them caught up and settled in. I'm going to help with that right now. Stay in bed. I'll know if you don't. Your beautiful mind will betray you, and I'll punish you again. Even if it is a little tease or longer rest. Call if you need me. " He waved and turned away to the door. It opened.

" B-but I don't like to be in crowds! I can't handle that!"

" I know. " he walked through the door and let it close behind him. His eyes turned Amber again. " You will be able to. I'll be right there next to you. " Jayce said softly. He was proud Koy handled this with such grace. It was extremely unusual for his wolf.

Normally he was a brute, and rash. Not to her. He had always seemed rather curious to say the least around her. Mika was changing him, and his wolf as well. Honestly, it was much needed, and long past due. He smirked. " Get some rest Mika.. you'll need it. "
