"[nickname], you smell like—"
You gulped and backed away from the spiky haired boy when he paused, finding his face to be a little too invading of your own personal space for your liking. He narrowed his calculating red eyes at you and moved even closer than before; so close that your noses were touching.
"—another guy..?"
Katsuki snatched a piece of your hair up between his fingers and sniffed it, his eyes never leaving yours for even a second. His eyebrows furrowed and a large, bitter snarl stretched across his lips. A twitch of his eye was a telltale sign that told you he was getting upset.
"Deku." Katsuki drawled out menacingly, his voice rasping with venom and a deep-rooted hatred.
"Why were you even near that sh–t loser, hah?!" He yelled at you, baring his canines almost .
"Okay, Kacchan.. calm d—"
"SHUT UP, D–NMIT!"
You flinched at Katsuki's harsh, accusatory tone and reeled backwards while he inched forward, his warm breath fanning your face from how close he was to you. Somewhere amidst his angry outburst, he had grabbed your upper arm in an attempt to ground you in place. His hold was imprisoning, with a grip so tight it began to hurt.
Katsuki's expression softened at your actions, his heart dropping as you looked at him with such fear and resentment. It quickly reverted to the usual grimace of anger he seemed to only have when you were around. Pulling yourself free, you crossed your arms and huffed, averting your gaze elsewhere.
Katsuki would always scream and yell at you like this; it really was nothing new. Some days he was okay, but most days he was like this. You hated it.
He slammed his fist into the wall behind you, no doubt leaving a hole or a dent at the very least.
"Every time I try'ta be nice, you gotta go on and do something you're not supposed to." Katsuki grumbled, lowering his head slightly.
You raised an eyebrow. Doing things you're not supposed to? Who was he, your mom? He didn't have the right to tell you who to hang out with, boyfriend or not.
"Katsuki," the boy snapped his head up at your use of his actual name, his eyes widening when he caught sight of your serious gaze.
"I've started to hate who you've become. If this is who you are, then I don't want to be with you. I hope you understand." You admitted solemnly, watching his expression go from confused, to angry, and then to that of a poker face.
You shoved past him and shakily walked down the hallway, your knees threatening to buckle and break from beneath you. You're just desperate to get away from his hawk-esque eyes as they watched you, observed you, and scrutinized you wherever you went.
"No.." Katsuki whispered, a hand reaching out after. Disbelief flooded his veins, turning his blood cold. The world seemed to freeze at that moment as he watched you walk away from him.
And soon after, you were gone.
Turning back to the spot where he had punched the wall, he winded a fist back and punched it again. And again. And again, until his fist bled and his blood smeared the wall in streaks of scarlet. There would be no over until he said it was over, until he lived his last breath with you by his side.
Because without you, it would be so; his life was already over.
