Aaron sings, his beautiful voice sounding out harmoniously, hitting each note correctly, his palm on my lower belly, as he sang to the baby.

I lay down on the couch, brushing his hair as he sung.

He then sadly stops singing, taking a deep breath, laying a kiss on my abdomen, before transferring to kissing me, rubbing his palm now on Angel, who was passed out on my slightly arched belly, probably due to Aaron's soothing voice.

"That was beautiful honey.....how do you do that?" I question in awe, sitting up.

"Do what?" He chuckles, plucking Angel carefully from her sleeping position onto his shoulder.

"Not fail," I say, like it was so obvious, the "American teenage girl" coming out from in me.

That just makes him laugh more, Angel luckily still sound asleep, making small little snores.

"I may not fail at the little things in life Aph.....but the big things......" Before he can finish, I interrupt him.

"....but the bigs things in life....can only be conquered....once you've mastered the little things....and you sir........have mastered it better than anyone I know......."

He sighs, though he smiles, looking back up to me.

I continue.

"You've made mistakes Aaron Lycan.....I've made mistakes.....everyone....has made mistakes....but you...." I point to him, then transfer to Angel sleeping on his shoulder.

".....and you....." Then I point to my stomach.

"And you......and most importantly....."

I point to Alex's ultrasound and Lilith's picture on the wall when she was in her little swimming get-up.

"You all......were never mistakes......"

Aaron just listens.

"You all were....blessings...."

"And that's a big thing......" I smile, then looking back to Angel, sighing sorrowly.

Aaron, of course, notices this.....

"Hey...hey.....Angel is a strong girl....very much like her mother......"

I giggle.

"She'll get through this......."

I rub my palm against my abdomen shaking my head quickly, trying to get rid of the negativity.

We will all get through this.......

"Anyway....have you seen....."

"Sylvana? No....not that recently..." Aaron finishes for me, looking pretty unsure.

I then stare straight at the wall, opening my mouth then closing it, then opening it again, in the I-already-know vain attempt to get an answer to my question.

"Do you think she......left again?"

Aaron tilts his head slightly, biting his lip, still patting Angel on the back.

He shakes his head. "I don't know Aph......"

" I thought I could trust her......"

Aaron continues to listen.

That's another thing about him....

He's an amazing listener.

"I thought.....she'd been different.....that she wouldn't....abandon me again...." I express, shaking my head slowly.

"Remember our plan....."the plan"....." Aaron interrupts, making me knit my eyebrows together gently.

".....you know, the plan......the plan that we are going to be alright.....that we are all going to be alright........"

I nod.

"Just follow the plan....okay?"
