"Gene...please." Aaron tries, tears gathering in the creases of his eyelids.

Please Irene....

"Now you can suffer, the same way I did."

Aaron almost closes his eyes, because he just couldn't watch.

Though sadly, I could.

"LIIILLLLLIIITTTHHHH!!!!!" My sceams echo throughout the hallway, as Lilith fell to the ground, blood starting to leak from a long cut along her neck.

I opened my mouth in shock, tears streaming down my face.

Aaron and I run over to Lilith's side, her body slightly shaking and becoming pale.

No......

Lilith please......

Aaron's breathes shakily and my heart rips itself apart. He places his hands on Lilith's neck, trying to stop the bleeding, me sobbing at his side.

No......

Lilith no......

"Daddy?...Daddy, it hwurts." Lilith manages out, her voice whispy, her eyes pained.

"Yeah I know sweetie, don't worry we are going to get help.....you're going to be okay....." Aaron sniffles, knowing what he was saying isn't true, the blood still pouring slightly from the wound.

"Am...I dwying Daddy?" She asks, her cute little voice ringing throughout my mind.

He couldn't answer her, my body eating itself from the inside.

That sinking feeling rages throughout my body.

Please...

Don't do this Lilith...

I was just screaming, not knowing how else to show my pain.

"Daddy...please dwon't cry...even if I'm gwone...you can stwill find me...among the stwars...and if you want to see me smile...look fwor the moon...all the gwood people's smiles are in the moon..."

Then her once electric eyes, full of wonder and excitement, become still, frozen like an icicles, water frozen in time.

I then collapse onto Lilith's legs, sobbing loudly into her jeans.

Lilith's body goes limp, her lips ajar after saying her last words..........

Aaron grasps Lilith's cold head in his arms, sobbing into her hair.......

Lilith please.....

Don't leave us.....

LILITHHHHHHHHHHH!

"LLLIIILLIIITTTHHH!" I shoot up in the bed in the midst of my scream, my hands clammy with sweat, hyperventilating from my horrific nightmare of that memory.

I choke on my own sobs, my brain stuck in the flashback.

"Aph, hey—hey...shhhh its okay...shhh I'm here." Aaron reasures, sitting up sleeply in the bed, wrapping his arms around me.

I keep sobbing, collapsing into his chest.

"Lilith..." Is all I can manage, but its enough.

Aaron sighs, his grasp on me tightening

"I know Aph...I know." His tone solemn, his voice full of the pain we were both suffering.

Its been one year since...Lilith.

We just got back from our one year trip to Falcon claw, and we were now currently in our old house.

We took the year to escape and try to recover from the horrific events that had played out.

We recovered a conservitive amount....

Though like they say......

No parent should ever...have to bury their own child.

This book is going to be on a every other day schedule, because I'm working on another AU that's premiering tomorrow.
