Aaron's POV

*Play Song*

"Oh c'mon just ask her out already!" I exclaimed, gesturing to the blonde intern down the hospital hallway.

"It's not as easy as it seems okay! You already have Lily! What if I mess up? What if I say something stupid? WHAT IF I GO UP TO HER BEING MY REGULAR STUPID SELF?!" Gene nervously rants.

I place my hand reassuringly on his shoulder, making him stop ranting.

"Hey, just go up to Kate and say what you feel, and say it from the heart, and she'll definitely say yes..." 

"Thanks, man, it's always good to know you have my back...." 

"I know I can always count on you...."

I just keep jogging, the memories flowing through my head no matter how high I turn up the music of my earbuds.

I was going on my daily 5-mile run, running harder and harder as the flashbacks keep panging at my mind.

Flashbacks before "it" happened.......

Before whatever horrible mistake I made.....

Lead to so many people's sadness and despair.....

Like Kate's.....

Michelle's...

Gene's.....

Alex's.....

Lilith's.....

....Aphmau's......

My thoughts are then interrupted by man girlish screams coming from Travis and Katelyn's house.

Oh, Travis what have you done now to have Katelyn give you her good 'ol punch?

I jog up to the main glass door of Aph and I's house, sweaty and exhausted.

I see Aphmau passed out on the couch in a comfortable manner, phone still in hand, her head positioned in a way that made her breathe loud cute snores.

Angel was playing with some blocks nearby on the carpet, making a tall but sturdy tower while smiling and giggling.

I chuckle, taking off my sneakers and wiping my sweat beaded face with my workout towel.

I then hear the snap of a camera, swiveling my head to the couch, where there was mischeiveous looking Aphmau, wide awake, and holding up a phone, snaping pictures.

I turn to her, knitting my eyebrows in confusion while smiling.

"Uh, Aph.....what a~re you doing?" I ask, walking slowly over to her, ruffling Angel's hair as I passed.

"Oh just getting some steamy pics of my shirtless sweaty muscular fiancé, you know, the usual...." She giggles, putting her phone away, as I got closer to her.

I place one hand on either side of her on the couch, leaning in next to whisper next to her ear.

"The usual huh?"

She shudders, feeling me slowly line her neck with kisses.

Then suddenly, she sits up.

"Aaron...Aaron look...oh my Irene GET THE CAMERA!" Aphmau screams in excitement as she sees Angel wobbling on her two feet, waving her arms around to maintain balance.

She's standing?!

I shoot up, grabbing my phone from my pocket, trying to not fumble it in my hands as I slide to camera mode.

"Come here baby....come to mama....." Aphmau squats down and reaches her hands out to Angel, who was slowly, and while stumbling, making her way over to her.

I finally get the camera ready and start taking a video, my heart exploding of happiness as our little baby was taking her first steps towards her mother.

Angel was giggling, smiling with her two front teeth, waddling forward like a cowboy.

Angel then finally collapses into her mother's arms, Aphmau picking her up and raising her into the air then resting her on her chest, tickling her.

"Great job sweetie! You walked! You actually walked!" Aphmau exclaims, her voice squeaky and her awe factor engaged.

I smile as I come over and join them, wrapping my arm around Aphmau's waist, then taking my other to tickle Angel as well, she writhing playfully in Aphmau's grasp.

You did it, Angel......

You little Angel.........

Third Person's View

"Oh and this is the X-RAY room, where we check for internal injuries we might have missed or to confirm certain wounds....."  Katelyn explains, gesturing to the large room filled with a machine hanging from the ceiling.

Sylvana nods, Katelyn pushing her wheelchair around the hospital for a tour.

Well, this is where her daughter was working anyways, and she wants to know everything about it.

Then Katelyn pushes the wheelchair into a room where she found Zane, who was standing there in the middle of the room, observing numerous screens lining the room.

"And this is the security camera viewing room....." Before Katelyn could finish, Zane turns around to them, his eyes widening at the sight of Sylvana.

"Wait a minute......there's Aaron......oh look there's Aphmau.....they're in the X-RAY viewing room......" Sylvana points to a certain screen that Zane was observing.

Katelyn starts to realize what past camera footage they were seeing, her eyes widening like Zane's.

"Turn it off....turn it off!" Katelyn shouts to the man controlling the screens.

The man controlling the screens only realizes what was happening, too late.

"What.....why is Aaron yelling at her......wait.......WHAT IS HE DOING TO HER?!"

"Oh no........"

"MIIIIIIIIIJJJJJAAAAAAA!"
