3. Leave Me Alone!
Unknown POV 2
After searching everywhere I could possibly think of, and calling everyone I know, I walked into my room defeated. No one had even seen or heard from her, which made my heart sink even more. Both families were filled with worry, yet I could do nothing to reassure them, when I was fumbling myself.
What if we never find her?
No! I won't allow my thoughts to go down that negative path. Besides, it was still too soon to say anything yet.
I sat on the bed, covering my face with both hands, feeling so helpless and not knowing what else to do.
"Have you heard anything?" A voice spoke and I looked up and saw who it was.
"No, Tanu. Nothing at all." I told her and she nodded in response.
"No one knows anything!"
"Everything will be okay. We will find her." she said, sitting next to me, trying to offer some sort of comfort, but I was way past that stage. The only consolation I needed, was knowing Pragya was back home safe and unharmed. I didn't need anything else.
"Is there anything I can get you?" She asked sweetly, which just irritated me all the more.
"Can you get Pragya back to me?!" I snapped out of frustration, immediately regretting my outburst when I saw the look on her face.
"T-Tanu, I'm sorry." I apologized. "I didn't mean to."
She just nodded.
"Can you just leave me alone for a while please. I'm not really in the mood for company." She didn't look too happy about that, but did as I asked anyway.
"Sure. I understand. I'll be back to check on you."
"That's ok." I said to her. "I'll be down when I'm ready."
I lay down on the bed, my head hitting the pillow in exhaustion and worry.
Where are you, Gorgeous?
If this is one of your pranks, it's not funny!
Everyone is so worried about you.
We have no idea where you are...or what predicament you are facing.
My hand delved under the pillow to pull it closer, when I felt an unknown object touch my hand. Pulling it out, I stared at curiously at the small box with a bow tied around it, wondering where the hell it came from.
A note was attached to it and tears filled my eyes as I read that simple line.
Because you mean the world to me...

Sarla's POV
As I sat at the kitchen table, I listened to my mother-in-law tell me to eat something for the tenth time, but sadly, food was the furthest thing from my mind. I wondered and worried yet again about the state of my only daughter. Were they taking care of her, or leaving her tied in a corner to rot? All these horrifying thoughts continued to infiltrate my brain, and then once again, the tears started to flow.
"Sarla, you started again?" Beeji asked, tears filling her own eyes. "This is not good for your health."
"I can't help it, Beeji! My daughter is missing and I have no idea where she is or what condition she's in!" I cried.
"Our daughter is strong. She will return to us." Beeji said trying to console me. "She is no longer that simple, naive girl. She is a fighter."
"Yes, Beeji." I agreed. "But she is still my daughter na. I am bound to worry. We don't know who has taken her or what type of people they are."
"Have faith, Sarla. She will be fine." Beeji said, trying to give me some much needed assurance.
"They just took her from her happy existence and turned it into hell for all of us." I told her. "And what about that poor boy, Beeji? What must he be going through? His bride was taken from him on his wedding day, just mere minutes before they were to become husband and wife!"
"Everything will be fine, Sarla." Beeji said, trying once again to both comfort and dissuade my mind from going down a horrible path. "Trust me, Pragya will return to us unharmed, you'll see."
"I wish I had your faith, Beeji." I told her. "But motherly love has weakened me. I can't do anything else but worry about her."
"Sarla..." Beeji started again, but was interrupted by the sound of my phone.
I quickly picked it up, hoping with all my heart that there was some good news about my daughter.

Pragya's POV
After hurriedly navigating my way around the huge house, I quickly found and climbed over the gate, running as fast as my legs could carry me. By the time he discovered I was missing, I'd be long gone by then. I made my way through what appeared to be a forested area, with only the light of the full, brightly shining moon to act as my guide.
I turned to look back, just on the off chance he knew of my escape and might be following me, only to crash into a hard, sturdy "wall". Two hands immediately reached out to encircle my waist, holding me steady and I hoped with all my might that it was anybody else but him. I realized luck decided not to favor me this time, when I heard his familiarly deep voice.
"Looking for me, Baby?" He asked, pulling me closer to him. "Who knew you could be this sneaky?"
He didn't know what the new, stubborn Pragya was capable of!
I tried to move out of his arms, but he wouldn't let me.
"Leave me alone!" I yelled, pounding at his shoulder and chest fighting to get away from him.
"That's one mistake I don't ever plan on making again, Sweetheart." He said, pulling me even closer to him. "Look at where it got me the first time."
I ignored his statement and continued to fight him, trying my best once again to push him off.
Apparently getting tired of my rebellious nature, he quickly picked me up and swung me over his shoulder.
"What the hell do you think you're doing?!" I shouted as loudly as I could. I kicked and screamed at him all the way back to the house. He took me back to the very same room I sneaked out of and deposited me none too gently on the bed.
"You are one heartless bastard!" I yelled at him.
"Call me whatever names you like. I'm still not letting you out of here."
"I'll just keep finding new solutions." I threatened.
"Well then, I guess I'll just have to find new ways to stop you, won't I?" he said and then left the room.

Unknown POV 1
This new Pragya Arora was certainly a surprise! I thought as I made my way to the kitchen to grab something to eat. Who knew she had it in her to escape?
I was sitting in my office, trying to get my wits together after scaring the hell out of her before, when I looked up at the CCTV monitor and saw her looking for a way to escape. Didn't she notice there where cameras everywhere?
How could she? She was unconscious when you brought her in!
Still, she should have atleast noticed the one in my room, where she was staying.
I decided to leave her alone for a while, to see how far she would go. I thought she would turn back once she realized where we were, but she had exceeded my expectations by far, making her way into the dark forest. That was when I decided to go after her. I couldn't let her go away from me!
Now she was back here and hating me a whole lot more than before. I still had hope that somewhere inside her was the same Pragya who loved me unconditionally. Who was just a little upset with me but would forgive my mistakes and still want to stay with me.
But the girl in there seemed totally different. She seemed to have forgotten everything that happened between us...everything we shared.
Her only concern was getting away from me and back to her family...back to the man waiting for her.
No! I mentally shouted. I'm the only one for her...just like is the only one for me and there is nothing or no one that can change that!
She just needed a little time to adjust and I was willing to give her all the time and space she needed to do just that, within reason of course.
I gathered up the tray with food and made my way back to her.

Pragya's POV
The door was opened and I saw him entering with a tray in his hand. I turned away, not caring what was on it. He came and sat right in front of me.
"Time to eat." He said, turning his gaze on me.
"I'm not hungry." I replied.
I could care less about food right now.
"I never asked if you were hungry." He said to me. "You need to eat."
"I don't want anything." I told him and proceeded to move away from him, going to stand in the far corner away from him.
I saw him take one long controlling breath, before dropping the tray onto the bedside table and coming over to me in a swift fashion. Next thing I knew, I was being pushed back against the wall, with both his hands on either side of my head.
"Why do you insist on being so stubborn!" He said to me, slamming his hand on the wall near my head.
"I don't want food or anything else!" I said to him. "I just want to go home!"
"You are home." He replied, lifting a hand to my cheek, caressing it.
Why won't he stop doing that? Doesn't he understand?!
"I want to go back to my life, my family..."
"Back to him?" He asked.
"Yes!" I replied, not giving a damn how he reacted. I was getting tired of this! "I want to go back especially for him!"
The expression on his face darkened. He looked so angry, for a second I thought he might lash out at me...but he didn't.
Instead took another deep breath and he bent his head, with his lips slightly grazing my ear. "Everything you need, is right here, in this room." He whispered to me, his forehead touching my left temple. "Standing in front of you."
I squeezed my eyes shut, trying to block out his words. I didn't need them.
"He will never make you happy." I heard him say. I could sense his lips moving away from my ear and I immediately opened my eyes and saw him looking down at me. "You will always be incomplete without me...."
Then he bent his head again, this time his lips were headed toward mine....
