"What do you mean...?" you mumbled with your head hanging low.

"Are you deaf? He just said your parents were Water Hose! Yeah, what do you mean, Shigaraki?!" Spoke Twice.

'Did his personality just split?' You thought.

"Aww, seems that (L/n)-chan has lost her memory." Toga frowned.

'I lost my memory? What are they talking about? What's going on?!'

For a moment, it felt as if the room was spinning. The villains' words echoed throughout your mind. It was starting to be all too much for you. Was this what it felt like to have your entire world crumble before you? So many questions filled your head yet none of them could be answered, it was starting to drive you insane.

"WILL SOMEONE PLEASE EXPLAIN TO ME WHAT'S GOING ON BECAUSE IT'S DRIVING ME MAD!" You snapped.

Everyone turned their heads towards you and stared in disbelief, as if they weren't expecting you to snap like that. You stared at Shigaraki intimidatingly, waiting for him to start speaking. An evil smirk appeared on his face as he examined your expression.

"Heh, you're looking at me as if I know the whole story. Probably should've asked Muscular that before beating him." He giggled.

You gave no response. Not immediately anyways.

"Are you fucking kidding me?" You growled with your head down low.

"Hm?"

"You provoke me by briefly talking about something that would actually fuck me up, yet you don't know the whole story? Pathetic." You continued.

"I wouldn't talk to him like that if I were you, (L/n)-chan~. Mr. Handsy has a pretty short temper." Toga informed as she was childishly kicking her legs back & forth on the barstool.

"Pathetic??" Shigaraki started in a low tone.

He got up from his seat and slowly walked over to you with his head hanging low.

"You failed to save your friend and ended up getting captured yourself, and you have the audacity to try and call me pathetic?"

The bar was now quiet as everyone was watching to see what events would unfold within the conversation.

"Not saying anything now?" He questioned as he crouched down in front of you.

"Hmph, you don't scare me." You grinned.

In that moment, all of your fear dispersed. It was now a past feeling. You kept your head up and stared down at Shigaraki, not showing him any sign of backing down.

"Really now?"  Suddenly, he aggressively grabbed your face before leaning in to threaten you.

"Now listen here kiddo, I've had enough of you and your smack talk, so unless you don't want to crumble into dust, I suggested you keep your mouth shut. Got that?"

You gave no response. You planned to stay fearless until the end.

"Do it then, bitch..." you mocked.

This angered Shigaraki, you expected it to end then & there but thankfully, Kurogiri stopped him.

"Shigaraki wait! This is not part of the plan!"

Shigaraki clenched his teeth before he exhaled and slowly backed away, straightening himself out.

"I suppose you're right... Now's not the time. But don't worry, we'll be able to settle this eventually..."

You glared at him as he made his way over to Bakugou.

"Say, Bakugou. You like winning don't you?" He asked.

Katsuki stayed silent as he waited for Shigaraki to continue on with his upcoming speech.

"You see, the thing that really doesn't make any sense to me is this cycle. You save someone, and you get fame & money. And in this society, where the precious rules are everything... the people aren't cheering for the losers, telling them to fight another day, they're blaming them. Kinda how everyone is blaming your school for the previous incident that happened, which in all honesty doesn't make much sense! I mean, it's not like you guys were expecting any of this to happen..."

Shigaraki paused. He grabbed a seat by the bar and finished his closing sentence.

"What is a hero? What is justice? Is this what society's really supposed to be like? It's questions like these that start getting people thinking, and it's questions like these that our war is based on. Once the people start thinking,  that is when we win... and you do seem to love winning, Katsuki Bakugou."

Nothing. Katsuki remained silent and still. Then, suddenly, Shigaraki ordered Dabi to release his restraints.

"Huh? He'll go wild for sure." Dabi replied.

"It's okay. We gotta treat him as an equal. We're scouting him, after all. Besides... before he throws a tantrum, our little U.A. student here should be smart enough to know he can't win." Shigaraki informed.

Dabi rolled his eyes before shortly handing the job over to Twice.

"Twice. Do it."

"Huh me?! No thanks!!" He rejected.

He may have rejected it, but in the end, he still wound up doing it. Katsuki watched in silence as the split-personality villain took off his restraints. The moment the ones on his arms were off, he gently massaged his wrists a bit. Shigaraki walked towards him and started spitting some more bs. The moment he got close enough, Katsuki jolted up, hit Twice in the face and set an explosion off in Shigaraki's face, causing his hand to fly off.

'Holy shit!' You thought.

"I listened to your endless talking... idiots can't get to the point, so they always talk for a long time. Basically, you mean 'We wanna harass people, so please join us.' Right?" Katsuki started.

The boy glared intensely at the villain before him, not showing any signs of fear.

"Don't bother... I want to win like All Might. No matter what, that will never change!"

The room went back to another quiet state. Shigaraki glanced over to the hand that was on the floor before slowly walking towards it. He didn't pick it up, nor did he say anything, he just stood in silence. It was starting to worry you and the vibes you were getting from Shigaraki weren't all that settling either.

"Get it now, League of Scumbags?! Just so you know... technically I've still got permission to fight back!" Katsuki barked.

'Pulling off a massive attack like that, just to catch me? They basically tipped their hand by showing me how valuable I am to them... They're trying to break me psychologically so I know they ain't really gonna try and kill me... There's seven of them. While they're still sticking to their half-assed plan, I can probably beat the crap outta two or three and make my escape!!' Katsuki thought.

He looked around the room and realized that you were still there too.

'Ah shit... but what the fuck am I gonna do about (y/n)? I can't just leave her here! Who knows what these creeps will do to her... I have to think of something else, and quick!'

"This boy... Really seems to understand his position! Clever little thing!" Spoke Big Sis Mag.

"Can I stab him?!" Toga asked excitedly.

"No... you idiot." Dabi replied to the bloodthirsty girl.

"If that's your attitude, then why not just pretend that we'd won you over? I don't understand." Mr. Compress questioned.

Katsuki snickered at his question before answering.

"If I'm not feeling something, I ain't gonna lie about it. And I'm not in the mood to hang around this boring dump for much longer."

"Father..." Shigaraki mumbled as he stared at the hand that lays below him, flat on the floor.

He gave Katsuki a deathly glare that may have sparked a little bit of fear within him, but you weren't all too sure since it's somewhat hard to read his face at times.

"Just stay back... all of you..." Shigaraki started before crouching down, finally picking up the hand.

"This kid is an important pawn. I wish you would've listened... I thought we might understand each other..."

"Nope!" Katsuki smirked.

"What a shame... we all just heard about the heroes' investigation so... I can't waste much time trying to convince you." Shigaraki finished.

Suddenly, he spoke again. Just not to Katsuki, or anyone that was present in the room.

"Master... lend me your power."

'This isn't good... Todoroki, Izuku... where are you guys?! We need you to hurry!' You thought.

...

"The tracker points to this location." Spoke Yaoyorozu.

"So this is their hideout?" Kirishima questioned.

"We can't be sure, but I've been checking, and the villains haven't moved from here all day." Yaoyorozu informed.

"Just because the villains are here, doesn't necessarily mean that Bakugou & (L/n) are here too. I need you all to realize that we're standing here now based on very limited information." She added.

Her words caused a sweat drop to go down Izuku's temple. He wasn't 100% sure about all this, but his determination to save the two of you was nearly skyrocketing.

"None of us are suited to stealth missions like Jirou & Hagakure. So I'm stopping this thing at the first hint of danger, because you are my friends! And I won't hesitate to notify the authorities...!" Iida noted.

"Thank you, Iida." Izuku thanked.

"Just give me a minute to think about what we can actually do..." he added.

...

"The preservation of our entire hero society is riding on this operation. We have to settle this now, with full force! It's time for payback, time to turn the tables, heroes!!"
