"Are you feeling okay now, (Y/n)? Those injuries are pretty bad." Izuku questioned.

"Ah, it's nothing compared to yours so I can't really complain." You informed. Although, your ribs were hurting like a bitch which made it a bit difficult to breathe, not to mention how aching your entire body was.

You told Izuku that you were fine because you knew all too well that if you told him the truth, he'd try to make you stay behind and heal which wasn't an option considering Bakugou was being targeted.

"Are you sure? You did take some pretty hard hits... maybe you should go-"

"I'm not going anywhere. Kacchan needs us. Besides, we're gonna need as much help as we can get, not to mention that my quirk can be useful to put out the fire." You interrupted.

Izuku looked at you for a moment before giving you a small nod of agreement. When the two of you got back to where Mandalay and the others were, you saw that they were in some trouble! Next thing ya know, Izuku leaped into the air and attacked one of the villains!

"Mandalay!!! Kota's safe!!" He shouted.

"We got a message from Aizawa-sensei! Please, use your telepathy to tell everyone that he said it's okay to fight back!!" You shouted before shortly joining in.

You both assisted the pros despite the injuries. Although, it wasn't very long until Mandalay demanded the two of you to stay back. She then used her telepathy and told everyone that they could fight back.

"Thanks for the message! Now get back to camp, those injuries look nasty!"

"No! Sorry, I mean there's one more thing I  need you to relay!" Izuku mentioned before running away with you following behind.

"Wait!"

"Please use your telepathy to tell that one of the villains' targets is Kacchan!" He added.

"Kacchan?! who's that... Wait, hold on a second!"

Suddenly, the bigger villain got ready to attack!

"These kids... we really oughta kill em!" She shouted.

"Don't touch them, Big Sis Mag!" Spinner halted.

"What's the big idea?! That boy is on the high-priority kill list!!!" She shouted.

"That's something personal for Shigaraki."

"What exactly did you come here to do, Spinner?!"

"Stain went out of his way to save the brat! That must mean he got what it takes to be a real hero!! And when it comes to Stain's will, I obe- oof!"

He was interrupted as Mandalay landed a good hit on him that sent him rolling.

By that time, you & Izuku were already deep into the forest looking for Katsuki and the others.

....

"I have to endure... I gotta do the job... ahhhhh..."

"Don't charge in recklessly. Didn't you just hear that?! They're after you." Todoroki scolded.

"Yap, yap, yap inside our damn heads... what'd that little freak Deku go and do now? First, it's fight. Now it's don't fight? C'mon!" Bakugou complained.

"I think I'll just do what I want!" He continued before charging in on the very toothy villain. Bad decision.

The villain used his quirk and shot an attack towards Bakugou. Luckily the boy's reflexes kicked in, allowing him to dodge the blade-like tooth while Todoroki created a huge wall of ice.

"He's making great use of both the terrain and his quirk." Todoroki commentated.

"Even though that bastard looks like a weakling, it's obvious he's been in a lot of battles." Katsuki added.

The boys seemed to have been between a rock and a hard place seeing how they couldn't come up with a strategy to beat this guy WITHOUT putting anyone else in the forest in danger.

...

"is it just more or does the air seem to be more thicker around here?" You questioned.

"DON'T BREATHE IT IN!" Izuku shouted before clasping his hand over your mouth and nose.

Suddenly, a gun shot was heard in the distance!

"What the hell!" You yelped.

"This way!" Izuku shouted before sprinting off.

"Izuku wait, it's dangerous!!"

Then, a giant hand-like shadow smashed the terrain in front of him!

"IZUKU!!" You cried out.

"Those wounds, you shouldn't be moving around in that state." Someone spoke.

When the debris cleared, Shoji was revealed! He saved Izuku just in the knick of time. You sighed in relief before lightly jogging to the boys.

"You guys need to be more careful." Shoji spoke.

"Shoji, was that..." you started

"Yup." He answered.

According to Shoji, the villains did a sneak attack on them while Tokoyami was already having a hard time controlling his quirk. Because of that, Shoji took the hit for them but unfortunately, ended up triggering Tokoyami.

"If you guys wanna pass through here, he's the first problem we've gotta deal with."

Suddenly, a loud screech from Dark Shadow was heard as he caused havoc within the forest. What you were witnessing was unbelievable.

"You mean to tell me that he was trying his best to control THAT?!! Shoutout to him, that thing is outrageous!" You gasped.

"Watch out!" Shoji warned as he dodged Dark Shadow's attack.

"He's turned into a monster." Izuku commented.

"DON'T... WORRY ABOUT ME!! GAH!... FIND THE OTHERS AND.... SAVE THEM!! CALM YOURSELF, DARK SHADOW!" Tokoyami struggled.

"We need light or a fire. He might calm down if we lead him to camp." Shoji started.

"(Y/n), do you think you will be able to run anymore? Your injuries may not look as bad as Midoriya's but they're still not completely okay."

As you were leaning against a tree trying to catch your breath, you started to examine some of your injuries. Shoji was right. They were much more worse than what you originally thought, especially your ribs. The moment you pressed gently onto them, a numbing pain had passed through, causing you to wince.

When examining further more, you started to notice the small, deep gashes on your legs and arms. You were surprised at how bad they were, more so surprised at the fact that you didn't even realize they were there!

After thinking about it, you finally answered Shoji:

"I mean, I've ran this far already, I should be oka- LOOK OUT!!" You yelled as you dodged Dark Shadow.

'Ow ow owww, holy shit, this hurts so much... don't cry (Y/n), momma ain't raise no bitch...'

"(Y/n)! Are you okay?!" Izuku called.

"Y-yeah, just trying to breathe, everything is fine!" You replied.

When you walked over to the boys, Shoji offered to carry you too. This made you feel awkward, there wasn't anything wrong with it, you were just really awkward, although you had to overcome it since this wasn't the time nor place to be like that.

"Midoriya. (Y/n). Just know that no matter what I'm up against, I'll never be the kind of guy that abandons suffering friends. You're both worried about your old buddy, right? That's why you're still out here, running around like that?" Shoji started.

Neither of you said a word. Then, the realization that you may not have the time to deal with Tokoyami hit you! It was at that moment that Shoji had asked Izuku what he wanted to do, which was either help with Tokoyami or save Bakugou.

"Izuku,, we don't have the time-"

"What?" He questioned, sounding confused.

"I wasn't finished. Anyways, we both can't stay here and fight off Tokoyami, what if the villains get to Kacchan before us?!" You considered.

Izuku didn't answer.

"I'll go save Kacchan..." you decided before running off.

You heard Izuku yelling for you to wait and stop in the distance but refused to do so. You were so determined to try and find Katsuki that you completely ignored that throbbing pain in your ribs.

'You better be safe Hedgehog... please be safe!'

....

"I CAN'T GET CLOSE TO HIM!! GUESS I HAVE NO CHOICE BUT TO BLAST HIM TO HELL WITH FULL POWER!!" Katsuki screamed.

"No!" Todoroki objected.

"IF THE TREES CATCH ON FIRE, JUST COVER 'EM WITH YOUR ICE!!" Katsuki demanded.

"An explosion would block our field of vision! What happens if it doesn't finish him off?! He's got us beat in both range and fire power." Todoroki explained.

Sudden crashes and booms were heard, along with some distant voices.

"WATCH OUT!! GET OFF THE WAY!!" You screamed as you were riding on Shoji's back with Izuku.

"BAKUGOU! TODOROKI! ONE OF YOU PLEASE, GIVE US SOME LIGHT!!" Shoji yelled.

"Flesh." The villain muttered as he tried to attack.

Then, Dark Shadow slammed him into the ground! His timing was both fortunate and unfortunate for obvious reasons. When Dark Shadow lifted his (hand???) the villain slowly, but surely got back up on his teeth. (BA DUM TSS.... *cricket noises*)

No one other than you & Bakugou noticed the moment it happened.

"Guys... he's not done yet..." you gasped.

"Fleshhhhh... No good. Flesh. Need flesh... no good... no good, can't forgive you." He muttered as he trudged towards the group.

"ILL BE THE ONE TO SEE THOSE BOYS' INNARDS!!! DO NOT SNATCH MY PRIZES!!!" He snapped shortly after.

Before the villain could harm anyone, Dark Shadow had his hand pierced by the villain in order to save everyone! He then slammed the villain into a bunch of trees before going back on his rampage. Or at least trying, thankfully the moment Tokoyami let his guard down, Bakugou & Todoroki used this moment to their advantage and surrounded Tokoyami with light to calm down Dark Shadow.

(Y/n) POV

Everyone started to talk everything out with each other before planning and forming the, and I cannot stress this enough, "Bakugou Protection Squad" *author dabs*. The plan that was in mind, is that rather than following the path to get Explodo over there to safety, we cut through the woods so we wouldn't have to deal with anymore villains, thank god, I was getting tired of this when the first villain came.

"A line up like this... might even give All Might a scare!" Izuku hyped up.

'Sorry to kill your Steve Rogers moment in my imagination Izuwu, but we are still children and may I add, that three of us are injured.'

The third guy is the one Todo saved before encountering Moonfish.

"HEY! WHAT THE HELL IS THIS ALL ABOUT?" Kacchan yelled from the back of the group.

"Let the Bakugou Protection Squad handle ev-" I started.

"BAKUGOU PROTECTION SQUAD?? THE FUCK? I DONT NEED YOU LOSERS PROTECTING ME!"

"You just stay in the middle of the group." Todoroki informed.

"NO ONES PROTECTING ME, YOU DWEEBS."

"Ugh... let's just go." I sighed before rolling out.
(Autobots, roll out)

....

"So, (y/n), I've been meaning to ask but what happened to you? You've been holding your ribs for a while, not to mention you have a slight limp." Todoroki asked.

He seemed genuinely concerned which surprised me.

"It's a loooong story. To cut it short, Izuku & I encountered a strong ass villain and had to save Kota." I explained.

"You mean it took two of you to beat ONE villain?" Katsuki interrupted.

"Hey, you didn't exactly beat that villain on your own either. If we didn't show up you'd probably be captured already." I defended.

"G-guys, I don't think now is the time to argue." Izuku suggested.

"Shut the hell up Deku! No one was talking to you!" Katsuki snapped.

"Don't yell at him, he was just telling your eavesdropping ass to quiet down." I defended once again.

"Fuck you bitch, you and icyhot were talking loud as shit, how can I not hear you?"

"Don't call her that." Todoroki stepped in.

"Oh yeah, what the hell you gonna do about it?" Katsuki provoked.

"We shouldn't lose focus, guys..."

"Shut the hell up Deku and mind your business!"

'Did we get caught in a lovers quarrel?' Thought Tokoyami & Shoji.

Tokoyami ignored us and looked ahead to our path, he seemed to have notice something in the distance.

"Uraraka?!"

"Shoji! Guys!" She shouted.

When I came out from the bushes I was shocked at the sight. Uraraka was fighting some girl which I'm assuming was a villain, and Tsuyu was stuck on a tree by her hair.

When the girl noticed us, she escaped out from under Uraraka before fleeing, although she stopped to look back once more before sprinting away.

"Who the heck was that?" I asked.

"A villain. She was crazy." Uraraka answered.

"Hey, you got injured, are you ok?" Izuku asked.

"I'm fine, can't complain seeing how beat up you two are." She chuckled.

"What happened to you guys?" Tsuyu asked.

"Long story, we can tell later, right now we have to guard Bakugou and take him back to camp." Shoji spoke.

"Guarding Bakugou?" She asked.

"Yep."

"Then, where is he??" Uraraka added.

After hearing that, all of our eyes widened in shock. We looked back and saw that the boy with the Pomeranian hair was gone.

"W-where..." I stuttered.

"Looking for someone?" An unfamiliar voice spoke.

We looked in the direction of the voice and saw none other than a villain.

"Well let me give you a hint. I've taken him with my magic. He's not exactly a resource that belongs on the hero side. But don't worry, we're going to put him on a stage where he can really shine!" They continued.

"Wha-"

"GIVE HIM BACK YOU BASTARD!!!" I yelled before shooting a jet of water towards his way. Unfortunately he dodged.

"Give him back?" What an odd thing to say."

"Hey, Tokoyami is gone too!" Shoji added.

"Give them back you piece of shit!!!" I yelled before shooting another blast at the villain.

"(Y/n), stop, he's too fast. Plus you need to save your energy." Todoroki informed.

"My my, short-tempered child, aren't you? Silly girl, Bakugou doesn't belong to anyone. He's his own man."

(Nah he's MY man!!)

"He got them so noiselessly... what kind of quirk does he have?" Todoroki muttered.

The villain chuckled before jumping up from the tree and apologizing for his mockery. He explained that he's an entertainer at heart and that taking Tokoyami was just an improvisation.

"YOU CANT HAVE THEM, YOU JERK!" Izuku snapped.

"Calm down, Midoriya!" Shoji assured.

Todoroki put the guy he was carrying down and attacked the villain, but he was left untouched.

"Sorry, but deception and running away are actually my only special abilities. I can't go toe-to-toe with heroes in training." He stated.

"Vanguard Action Squad! The target has been successfully captured." He informed.

"Hell no, not on my watch." I mumbled before shooting another harsh blast towards him. Unfortunately his speed was too much.

"Damn it! If only Iida were here!" Todoroki cursed.

"We can't give up... we can't let them have him..." I started. I kept my head low in order to try and hide my emotions.

"We have to save him! We can't let them win like this!" I cried out.

"But, we're eating his dust at this rate." Shoji replied.

"Uraraka! Make us float quickly! Asui, throw us with your tongue as hard as you can! With as much strength as one of my punches! Make us really fly!" Izuku started.

He finished explaining the plan to us before we went through with it.

"Hold on, Deku. Can you even move with those wounds?!" Uraraka shrieked.

"She's right, you look as if you'll pass out at any moment. You should stay behind." Shoji added.

"This is n-"

"They're right... I'll go." I stepped up.

Izuku looked at me in surprise.

"(Y/n). Are you sure??" He questioned.

"Of course, I've never been more sure in my entire life." I answered.

Izuku didn't bother trying to talk me out of it, as he knew how determined I was to save Katsuki. Todoroki, Shoji & I got ready to get shot into the air. As I stood there waiting, a wave of anxiety hit me, but since this wasn't the time nor place for weakness, I brushed it off.
