Part 34
"Kurogiri, warp them away. It's like the two types I hate most showed up as a duo." Shigaraki started.
"A brat... and a guy with no manners."
"Huh?" The girl questioned.
"Come now... they've travelled all this way just to see you. You could at least humour them with a chat, Tomura Shigaraki. What's more... if they're being introduced by our influential broker friend here, we can be sure they're at least competent fighters." Kurogiri informed.
"Either way, I'll take my finder's fee now, Kurogiri." Replied the guy who brought the girl & young man.
"As for introductions... let's start with this high school girl. The media's kept her face and name under strict lockdown, but she's a person of interest in a string of deaths by bloodletting." He finished.
"I'm Toga! Himiko Toga." The girl started.
"Life is too hard! I wanna make a world that's easier to live in! I wanna be Mr. Stainy! I wanna kill Mr. Stainy! So let me join you, Tomura!" She cheered.
"I don't get it... are you some kind of freak?" Shigaraki questioned.
"You both have similar goals. I'm sure she'll be useful to you. Next, this young man has no outstanding criminal record to speak of but he's enamoured with the hero killers ideals." Spoke the man who brought them in. (Guys I know his name, I'm just not stating it for story purposes.)
"I'm not sure about this.." started the young man.
"Is this bunch really so dedicated to the cause? I mean, they're about to let this nut job join up." He stated.
"Hey, hey. At least freak girl here can state her own name. If you're a proper adult, how about you try doing that?" Shigaraki scoffed.
"I go by Dabi right now." He introduced.
"No good, your real name." Shigaraki ordered.
"You'll know it when you need to. Anyway...
The hero killers will... I plan to make it a reality." Dabi replied.
"No need to answer questions I didn't ask. Everyone nowadays is all "Stain this" and "Stain that"..." Shigaraki mumbled.
"Don't do it, Shigaraki..." Kurogiri warned.
"Bad, bad, bad... I'm in.. a bad mood cuz you guys are no good!" He complained before attempting to attack the two other villains. Luckily, Kurogiri warped their arms away from each other.
"Please calm yourself, Tomura Shigaraki. If we are to act upon your desires, expanding this organization is a necessity." Explained Kurogiri.
He snaked his way to Shigaraki's ear and started speaking.
"And oddly enough, this is our chance while we're in the spotlight. I advise acceptance, not rejection, Tomura Shigaraki."
"Acceptance of anything we can use of... whatever remains his will..." he whispered.
"Shut up." Shigaraki back talked.
"Where are you off to?" Asked the one unnamed man.
"I said shut up!" Tomura replied before storming off like a child.
"Pains me to say it, but our business partner there... he's too young. Immature." Spoke the man.
"I thought he was gonna kill us." Added Toga.
"That was weird..." said Dabi.
"We will have an answer for you within a day or two. Will that suffice? I expect even he knows what he must do... it's because he knows, In fact, that he left without a word. First All Might, then the hero killer... he's been humbled twice now." Kurogiri started to explain.
"He'll figure it out, I'm sure. An answer that will satisfy you two, as well as himself.."
...
"Everyone... I'm looking forward... hic... to a bunch of... awesome stories from the trip!" Mina cried.
"Just hold on, now. There could still be some twist to this!" Izuku tried to reassure.
"Don't say that, Midoriya. You're gonna jinx it.." Sero tried to warn.
"Failing our exams means summer school hell instead of training camp in the woods! And we flunked the practical! The only twist would be if your average scores were less than a monkey's." Kaminari snapped, poking Izuku in the eye.
"Calm down, you're talking too much." Sero spoke.
"I'm in the same boat, anyway. I got put to sleep and only cleared the test thanks to Mineta. So until we know how they're actually grading this thing..." he added.
"Save your pity! I just want your points!" Kaminari shouted.
"That's the bell. Be seated." Aizawa slammed the door open.
(Adding this bc I find it funny and imagine that he was standing outside the door for a while and has been waiting for the bell to ring just so he can do that)
"Morning. About your final exams..." he started.
Kirishima, Sato & Mina all looked like they were ready for disappointing news while Kaminari on the other hand, looked like he already died the moment Aizawa arrived.
"Sadly we had some failures. As such... you're all going to summer training camp!" He announced.
(Another addition bc the visual is better than a narrative.)
"Everyone cleared the written tests. But in the practical... Kirishima, Kaminari, Ashido, Sato and Sero all failed." Aizawa continued.
"Wait, we're really allowed to go?!" Questioned Kirishima.
"I knew it. Clearing the practical didn't necessarily mean I passed... even more embarrassing than outright failure..." Sero sighed.
"As the villains in this test, we teachers came up with assignments perfectly suited to all of you. Ones that would give you chances to devise winning strategies. At our discretion, of course. If we hadn't, none of you would've stood a chance."
'Okay, but my opponent wasn't even a teacher...'
"So when you said you were really going to crush us..." Ojiro started.
Aizawa then explained how everything was just another rational deception once again.
"We've been fooled, again! I'd expect no less from U.A! But... Now that we've been lied to twice, aren't you worried that our faith in you had been shaken?" Iida protested.
"Way to be a wet blanket, Iida..." sighed Uraraka.
"Perhaps. But consider the facts. It wasn't entirely a lie. Failure is still a failure."
The very moment when those last words left Aizawa's mouth, Kaminari and the others froze and went silent in the middle of their cheering.
"You five will receive special supplemental lessons. And to be honest they'll be far worse than summer school." He continued.
Soon enough, the failure five looked like their souls have left their bodies.
"Anyways I'll be handing out camp manuals. Take one and pass it back."
"Well, whatever the case... it's nice that everyone gets to go.," spoke Ojiro as he tried to lighten the mood.
'This list is fucking ridiculous! I don't even have some of these things, not even a bathing suit!'
"I don't even have a bathing suit. There's a ton of stuff I've got to buy." Spoke Kaminari.
"Oh, I know! We're off tomorrow and tests are over, so... how about... we all go shopping together?" Hagakure cheerfully suggested.
This caused everyone to yap about it.
"Hey, you come too, Bakugou!" Exclaimed Kirishima.
"No way in hell! What a waste of time!" He barked.
"You gonna come, Todoroki?" Izuku asked.
"I visit... someone on my days off." He replied. (🥺)
'No Todoroki & Bakugou?' I thought as a sudden frown appeared on my face.
"(Y/n), you okay? You don't look as happy?" Jirou asked concerned.
"O-oh! No, it's not that, it's just that I have no one to really shop with..." I lied. I couldn't expose myself about how bummed I kinda felt after hearing they wouldn't show up.
"No one to shop with? Impossible, the entire class is going! Well, minus Bakugou and Todoroki but that's about it! Just come, it will be fun!" Ashido explained from behind her.
"Yeah, besides you probably need a few things too, right?" Spoke Kaminari in a friendly manner.
I then started to think about it. They stood in silence and waited for my answer.
'I guess spending some time with the others wouldn't be such a bad idea. Plus I know I'll regret it if I don't go. Also, this is an opportunity to make some fun memories.'
"Okay, I'll come." I answered.
Their faces went bright as a smile lit them up, so did mine surprisingly.
The next day...
I woke up a bit after lunch and got ready for the day. I showered up and spent more than 10 minutes deciding my outfit. I went from pulling out a cute outfit that consisted of something cute such as jean shorts and a white top, to pulling out a simple outfit which consisted to a pair of black leggings and a plaid shirt. I ended up wearing the simple outfit as I felt awkward wearing the girly outfit.
When I was done my routine, I sat down on the couch and waited for that text to come through.
About 25 minutes passed by until finally, my phone went off.

A few more texts later and I was finally off to the mall to meet with the others.
...
"So now we're here!"
"This place has more shops than anywhere else in the prefecture. It's got the coolest and trendiest stuff! The Kiyashi ward shopping mall!" Exclaimed Mina.
"You, with the six arms! Or even you, with the big, swollen calves! You'll find everything you need here!" Called out a store clerk.
Izuku started muttering about everything that was around him. As usual, his muttering was too much, causing Tokoyami to tell him to be quiet as he was apparently scaring children.
Everyone started to go in groups together to where they were going to go first. I wasn't sure where to go first so I just went Kirishima who was gonna get himself summer shoes. I needed some too since I didn't want to risk ruining my casual sneakers.
"So (y/n), you excited about the trip?" He started.
"Of course, it's one of the things that drove me to fight so hard during the practical." I replied.
"That was my drive too, unfortunately, it wasn't manly enough." He demoralized.
"Aw, don't think like that. I think you put up a good fight. The only thing you & Sato could have done differently was maybe come up with a strategy?" I constructively criticized.
Kirishima went silent as he thought about what I said.
"You're right. But enough about that, let's go start our shopping!" he happily exclaimed.
We went to a specific shoe store that had a huge variety of outdoor summer shoes. The variety ranged from flip flops & crocs to breathable, casual shoes. I walked around the store browsing through the different styles while Kirishima went straight for the... Crocs?
I walked over to him and gave him a look of concern.
"What? Crocs are comfortable." He smiled.
"It's not that, I just didn't expect you to be the kind of guy that likes them." I laughed.
"Whaaat?? Why not? I mean, they can go into relax mode AND sports mode!" He exclaimed as he flipped the strap back and forth.
His actions made me laugh.
(I shall provide the meme at the end of the chapter.)
"What about you? What kind of shoe are you looking for?" He asked curiously.
"I wasn't sure before but now, I think I'll buy some crocs too." I laughed while holding up a purple pair.
"Croc-bros!" he sang out.
"Two bros, chillin in a croc store~" I continued.
Kirishima also laughed at my reference. After fooling around a bit more, we decided to buy the crocs. Before leaving the store, a pair of black crocs with flames on them caught my eye.
"Look. We should buy these for Katsuki." I snickered.
"Yoooo. Those are AWESOME! Let's get them! We'll go halfers." he replied.
And so we did just that. Of course, we wouldn't give them to him until we got to the camp, that way we wouldn't have the receipt on us and he couldn't return them. After officially leaving the shoe store, Kirishima and I looked at our list of necessities, most of the things on Kirishima's list was crossed off as he already had those. He looked over to mine and noticed I still needed a bathing suit, a sleeping bag, some bug spray and some other things.
"You need a sleeping bag?" He questioned.
"Uh yeah, the only one I actually own is an old Pokémon one I got when I was nine, so there's no way I'm taking that with me." I replied.
"In that case, I know just the place to get one for a good price." He chuckled.
I followed Kirishima to a camping store, into a sleeping bag aisle. When we got there, we met up with Katsuki.
"BakuBro! I thought you weren't gonna come?" Kirishima bewildered.
Katsuki looked in our direction with his calm & natural (and beautiful) bitch face on.
"I said I didn't wanna come with you guys. Besides, I need some shit too." He retorted.
"I see. Well, you wouldn't mind helping (y/n) our with the rest of her shopping, would you?" Kirishima asked as he secretly gave Katsuki a wink (of gAYNESS- nah I can't do that/.\)
"Kirishima wai-"
"As long as she's not slowing me down, I don't care." Katsuki replied as he casually looked through the sleeping blankets.
'What the... Who are you and what have you done to Katsuki Bakugou?'
"I'll take that as a yes. (Y/n), it was fun shopping with you but I gotta go to some other stores. Besides, Bakugou seems to need the same things you do." Kirishima explained before shortly leaving.
I felt a bit awkward. Why was Katsuki so calm about this? How come he didn't harshly reject as usual?
"You just gonna stand there or are you gonna buy yourself something?" He asked in his annoyed tone.
I came out of my thoughts and started browsing through the sleeping bags on the rack. The only thing that was heard between us two, was the sound of the hanger sliding on the metal rack.
'How are there no black sleeping bags?'
Katsuki looked over to me and saw the troubled expression on my face.
"What." He suddenly spoke.
I looked up towards him and made direct eye contact with his beautiful, crimson eyes. I didn't realize it and neither did he, but we were staring at each other much longer than needed. Shortly after, both our eyes widened with realization.
"Uhh, nothing... I just can't find a black sleeping bag..." I blushed.
"Idiot, there's some right there on that top shelf." He snarled as he pointed at a shelf which was behind me.
"Riiight..."
I went to the shelf and realized I couldn't reach. I didn't want to bother Katsuki or go look for one of the workers to help me as I was too anxious about doing so. So rather than doing either of those options, I tippy-toed and extended my arm as far as I could. Still no use.
'Goddamnit! Who even makes a shelf this tall!'
(I know a lot of y'all had stated that you were taller than Katsuki but pls just imagine you're shorter than him for story references! 5'5 at the most(?))
While struggling, I heard a disappointed sigh.
"Move." He demanded.
Katsuki reached up and grabbed the sleeping bag. I have no idea why, but when he stretched his arms up, time seemed to have slowed down. I got a really good look of his biceps and their details.
'Holy shit...'
"What are you looking at?" He questioned as he held out the bag in front of me.
"N-NOTHING!" I unintentionally yelled.
His eyebrows went into a confused arch as I sped walk to the counter with my bag.
'Oh my god, oh my god, oh my god. What the hell was I thinking checking out my childhood friend? Pull yourself together (y/n), this shit ain't right!'
After making my purchase, I quickly walked out of the store with the reddest face ever. It was an expression of complete and utter regret, mixed with embarrassment.
"Okay, as long as I avoid him for the rest of the day, I won't have any more sick thou-"
"Okay, what the hell do you need to get now?" His voice suddenly spoke from beside me.
I jolted up at his unexpected appearance and may or may not have yelped.
'What fuck! I thought he was still in the store!'
"Speak up or I'm ditching your ass." He scoffed.
"A... swim-"
"What?" He interrupted.
"A swimsuit..." I muttered embarrassingly.
Katsuki went silent. I looked up and saw him... Blushing? Wait, I must be tripping out or hallucinating! Is he actually blushing?
"You're lucky I have to get one too, otherwise I would have left." he snarled as he walked away.
"Well I would have been fine on my own, thank you very much." I replied sassily. (Sass master back at it again)
That was a lie. The moment Katsuki would've left, I guarantee that I would already have been lost. I mean, I rarely ever come to this specific mall!
After a five minute walk, we reached the outlet store. The very moment I got in there, I started browsing through clothes that I didn't even need.
'This is so cute! Ooh, this one too! Wait no, that ones better!'
The girly girl within me would've have went wild if Katsuki didn't say something to me.
"We're not here so you can get yourself an entire new wardrobe..."
I frowned at his comment but since he was right (but would never admit it), I put the clothes back and went to the swim suit aisle. When browsing through them, I realized that I have no one to give me opinions. Correction, no one I would feel comfortable with, giving me opinions.
I looked towards Katsuki with a pouty expression which confused him.
"What now!" He snapped.
I said nothing and turned my face away.
'Where are the girls when I need them...'
To be continued...

Hai guys, it's been too long since my last update and I apologize for that. I've just been busy with preparing for a sports tournament with my volleyball team. I know the season is long over but there's a specific tournament that includes more than one sport, so for that I tried out for volleyball and guess who's a Libero👀. Yas bitch, it's me, and I'm extremely excited about that. Anyways, as always I hope y'all enjoyed this chapter and here is the meme I said I would put at the end of the chapter.
