"Let's begin your practical exam. It is, of course, possible to fail this exam. If you want to attend the training camp, then don't mess this up." Aizawa started.

'Why are there so many teachers here today? Do they need that many observers? We are just going against the robots from the entrance exam aren't we?'

"Knowing you guys, you probably asked around & you might think you have the vague the idea of how this'll go..." he continued before being interrupted.

"It's a robot rumble like the entrance exam!!" Denki exclaimed confidently.

"Fireworks!! Curry! Truth or dare!" Mina cheered while pumping g her fist up and down.

"Not quite!! Various circumstances have demanded a revision to the exam format!" Principal Nezu revealed, popping out from... Aizawa's scarf? 

'Wait. Did our principal really just-'

Nezu explained to us that instead of fighting robots for specific reasons, we'll be fighting one of the teachers and that we'll be paired with someone.

"Your pairing and assigned teacher have already been decided. Your battle moves, your grades, your friendships with one another... all these factors and more were considered, without further ado..." Aizawa explained before announcing who was paired with who & which teacher they were against.

"First... Todoroki is with Yaoyorozu against me." He devilishly smiled.

"Next Midoriya is with Bakugou..."

'YO WTF HAVE THEY GONE MAD?!'

"Your opponent..." Aizawa started.

"Will be me!" All Might announced as he stepped forward from the crowd of teachers. The moment he did so, Katsu & Deku looked like they both shat their pants. I don't blame them though, I'd probably die on the spot if I were in their position.

"You'll have to work together to win. So come at me you two!"

'Rest in peace guys. It was nice knowing ya...'

"Ten stages have been prepared and all teams will begin simultaneously. But before I get to that, there is something I almost forgot to explain. Due to the uneven number of students in the class, one of you is gonna have to fight against a teacher alone once almost all the others are done." Aizawa explained.

We all looked over to Mineta right away.

"W-What are you guys looking at me for?!!" He cried out.

"Unfortunately that student is you, (Y/n)." He finished.

Everyone then turned to me with a shocked expression plastered on their faces. Except that little shit Mineta, he was laughing and pointing.

"Keep laughing and I'll rip out your voice box." I threatened silently as I gave him a death glare.

A wave of discourage came over me. I didn't know how to feel exactly. I was still in shock, although I didn't want to show it since I hate showing my feelings in public. It makes me feel weak.

"Don't think we made this decision on purpose Miss (L/n). We weren't expecting this to be the outcome." Principle Nezu started.

"Think of it this way young one, you're the only first-year student that gets to face a pro-one-on-one!" All Might mentioned.

That sort of boosted my spirits but also got me a bit more fearful than I already was.

"I see. That's one way to look at it. Well, I'm up for the challenge." I replied.

Although I didn't know who I was facing against and wouldn't know until everyone is done, I was determined to complete this exam no matter what!

About five minutes have passed since everyone started their exams. I, on the other hand, was in Recovery Girl's medic tent watching everyone else.

"So, you're going to face on one of the teachers alone. How do you feel about that?" She suddenly asked while still watching the monitors.

"Honestly, I'm shook to the bone. I don't know what to expect at all so that's pretty frightening. And the fact that I don't know which teacher it also makes me uneasy..."

"What if I get someone like All Might! What am I gonna do then! If I get an opponent like him, then there's no way I'll pass this exam! Even if he's wearing those weight thingys!" I replied as I paced back and forth in stress.

"Well, the first thing you should do is stop pacing and overthinking like that. Next, you should try to relax a bit. Working up your nerves isn't such a good thing to do before a battle. Especially if it's as important as this exam." She lectured.

Recovery Girl was right. I shouldn't be stressing and predicting the outcome of something that hasn't happened yet! Instead, I should use this opportunity to learn some things from my fellow classmates. And of course, try and learn the teachers' weaknesses.

As I watched the fights on the monitors, I noticed that Izuku & Katsuki were arguing. I shook my head in disappointment. Suddenly, a sigh was heard from Recovery Girl.

"Those two... even in something as important as this, they're still at one another's throats."

I looked back at the monitor and the next thing I see is All Might charging at the two of them!

'Holy crap... he's really out there acting like an actual villain...'

Katsuki set off an explosion and tried to use the smoke as a screen so he can unexpectedly charge at him, but All Might was too quick and grabbed his face! Then & there I thought he was gonna get pummelled to the ground but nope! Instead, he started firing off multiple explosions. I watched in amazement at the fact he wasn't giving up even when a huge ass hand was holding him by the face, which most would've have attempted to escape. He was doing great... up until All Might through him down on the ground.

"All Might is going a bit too overboard too. It hasn't been a full ten minutes, yet they're trying to go all out." Recovery Girl commented.

Next thing you know, All Might turns toward Izuku. 'His turn...' I thought to myself.

Izuku jumped high in the air as an escape route but crashed into Katsuki, who was flying in midair at a fast pace. The both of them fell to the ground but Katsu quickly got up and marched to All Might, leaving Izuku on the ground. He looked extremely pissed.

'Goddamnit Kacchan. Don't you know that the two of you have to work together!'

"As I said, you'll never win facing him head-on!" Midoriya yelled.

"Stop talking... I will win. That's what heroes do." Katsuki snarled. (Yes bby, show them that you're worthy of being a hero 😪)

"Fine, sure, but fighting here isn't-"

"Get your mitts off me!" He growled, cutting off Izuku.

The tension between the two boys was building. They couldn't work together and that was affecting their effort. Suddenly, All Might was seen coming down from the sky with a guard rail.

"I've got a present for Mr. Let's run!" He called out before slamming the rail into the ground, using it to trap Izuku.

Luckily, Katsuki dodged it quickly. Although he wasn't quick enough to avoid All Might's fist that went straight to his abdominal, causing him to puke out & flying backwards!
(Honestly, I hate this part so much bc the one thing Author-chan can't stand is seeing Katsuki hurt, even though I'm aware that it helps with the development of his character)

All Might walked over to the weak, barfing teen, squeezing in a little lecture.

"I get it... this is about Midoriya's incredible growth, right? But when he starts at level one, and you're at level fifty, naturally you'll be growing at different rates.." he started.

Katsuki hugged his abdominal in pain as he was trying to pick himself back up.

"Don't throw it all away, okay! Don't you see here! You've still got room to grow! But it's not a matter of power, for you... " All Might continued.

"Zip it, All Might.." Katsuki groaned.

"If you're saying I gotta rely on his help... then I'd rather lose..." he continued.

Hearing that triggered Izuku. He clenched his fist in annoyance.

"Is that so? As long as you have no regrets." All Might spoke as he approached him closer, getting ready to finish him off.

Then, Katsuki was punched. It wasn't from All Might, no no, it was weaker than a hit from All Might. It was Izuku!

"You'd rather lose..? That doesn't sound like you!!" He yelled before grabbing Katsuki and making a quick break for it to go into hiding.

"Get off of me!" Katsuki yelled.

"Pipe down!! Whether we try to beat All Might or run from him, I honestly can't think of a single plan..." Izuku started.

Katsuki looked at him with a face that said "what the fuck are you talking about" or something along those lines.

"But why not try using me before giving up? I don't wanna hear you say it's fine if we lose! The one who never throws in the towel 'til he's won... is you, isn't it?" He finished.

Katsuki started to think as he listened to Izuku's words. Deep down he knew he was right.
