Part 2:2

'Holy shit, Katsuki you need to chill the hell out! Idiot! Seriously...He could've caused the building to collapse on us!' I cursed to myself.

I continued to look at the screen that showed the boys. When the smoke from the explosion cleared, I saw that Izuku's sleeve was now burnt and his entire mask was gone. Meanwhile, Katsuki was standing with his head down and breathing heavily. All Might immediately started to lecture him through the speakers. Katsuki was now seen yelling, though none of us knew what he was saying.

Shortly after, Katsuki launched himself towards Izuku and quickly changed his trajectory before Izuku was able to counter it. Katsuki got behind the boy in a swift motion and wasn't hesitant to set off an explosive to his back. The impact caused Izuku to go flying forward. Then came his finishing move. He grabbed Izuku's arm and flipped him over his shoulder, slamming the weakened boy harshly to the ground. I couldn't believe what I was seeing! Things were going far worse than I could have imagined. Even for them.

"This is nothing more than naked bullying! If you rewind the tape it's beyond clear he'd already been captured!" Shouted one of the students.

"This is not the behaviour of a hero in the making!" Complained another.

"I thought Midoriya hit above his weight, but.... there's no denying it. When it comes to 'battle senses' Bakugou is a beast!"

The first two comments kind of irked me. In a way, I knew that Katsuki wasn't doing this for "fun", but because he feels like he has to. He must see Izuku as a threat now that he has a quirk...

"He's running away!" Someone pointed. There on the monitor was Izuku dashing away from Katsuki.

"Not terribly manly, but I'd do the same. Something's a bit off though..." commented Kirishima.

'Hell, I'd run too if my opponent looked like that.' The camera panned to Katsuki, who looked like a bloodthirsty demon coming to collect your soul. His intent to kill was so intense that you could literally feel his aura from the basement! Izuku was backed up against a wall and looked quite worried. Ugh! Goddamit! I want to do something but I can't interfere! I feel so useless just watching from the sidelines!! Izuku... please just hold on a little while longer.

...

"WHY WON'T YOU USE YOUR GODDAMN QUIRK ALREADY! YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME?!"

"EVER SINCE WE WERE LITTLE KIDS, YOU'VE ALWAYS BEEN LIKE THAT!!!" Shouted an angry Bakugou.

"That's not it."

"YOU LOOKING DOWN ON ME FUCKFACE!!? HUH!!?"

"Kacchan it's because you're amazing that I wanna win!!" Replied the green haired boy.

"I WANNA WIN, AND SURPASS YOU!!! HOW DO YOU NOT GET THAT, DUMBASS!!?" He continued.

"KNOCK THAT EXPRESSION OFF YOUR NERD FACE!!" Katsuki shouted back.

...

"Man, Bakugou really won't let it go, huh?"

The boys reached their arms out and launched themselves at one another, storing power the closer they got. The remaining cloth from Izuku's sleeve tore off due to the amount of power that was building up while Katsuki's hand was getting brighter from the heat he was producing for his explosion.

Izuku threw his fist upwards while Katsuki launched his explosion at him. A giant hole was made through the floor above them and a huge gust of wind was released, shattering the windows.

He aimed upwards? Then that must mean...
I looked to the screen that showed the brown haired girl and the guy know as Iida, and watched her grab a giant pillar, hit the pieces of debris towards Iida as a distraction and float over him to retrieve the weapon.

"THE HERO TEAM WIIIIINS!" Shouted All Might.

Katsuki stood frozen in shock. I stared at the screen and watched how his vibe changed completely. He was no longer shouting threats or cursing out loud for all to hear, instead he was completely silent. He's not gonna take this lightly.

Before I could get completely lost in my thoughts, I felt a light tap on my shoulder. I turned around and was met with Kirishima. He seemed worried again, but also really awkward.

"Hey, you okay??" He asked politely.

"Yeah, I just... ah." I stopped. I avert my eyes to the side, thinking about the series of events that have occurred over this short span of time.
Kirishima slightly tilted his head, waiting for me to finish my sentence. I didn't want to be a downer, so I decide to shake it off. "Never mind. It's nothing really." I reassure before quickly changing the subject. "So what's up?"

"Nothing much, I just wanted to check on you. You looked pretty nervous watching the fight so it kinda got me worried." He replied.

"Oh, sorry about that, haha." I apologized while rubbing my head awkwardly.

A little while later, the four students and All Might returned to the monitor room, where the pro hero announced that the best in this match was Iida.

"But weren't the winners Ochako and Midoriya?" Asked the frog girl.

'Ochako... so that's her name! Damn, I really need to memorize the names of my classmates...'

"I wonder why I could pooossibly think so~? WHO KNOWS WHY??" Teased All Might.

"Yes, All Might!" Said the ponytail girl as she raised her hand to answer his question.

"It was because Iida was the one who adapted the most to the situation. Having watched the fight, Bakugou's behaviour was clearly driven by some personal grudge, and thus totally arbitrary. Furthermore, just as you told us earlier, a large range attack in an indoor arena is just idiotic."

"The same goes for Midoriya. Uraraka's game got loose halfway through and her final attack was too reckless. We were treating that paper-mâché thing as an actual nuclear weapon, so that kind of attack wouldn't have flown. Iida devised a counter strategy against an opponent because he correctly supposed the match would revolve around the core. While he was too slow in reacting to that last attack, I believe the hero team's so-called "victory" is being too nice in calling this "just training." And that gets dangerously close to skirting the spirit of the rules."

The whole room went silent after hearing that.

"W-Well... young Iida might also have been a bit too stiff.. but correct answer! Hehe..." replied the pro hero in a shaky voice.

'Bloody hell, she's much smarter than I thought! Wait.. is she one of the students who got in by recommendations??!'

After that, it was now time for the second match, though we had to move the matches to a different arena because of what happened.
The people who were in the second match was Team B (the heroes) and Team I (the villains), which meant Todoroki was going to fight. Knowing this bit of information piqued my interest since it'll be the first time I've seen him fight.

Unlucky for me, it turns out he didn't even need to fight. He just froze the whole building, along with his opponents and walked right to the weapon with ease!

"He's something else, this one!" Exclaimed Kirishima.

"(Y/n)! Did you know he could do that?!" He added.

"No... I know what his quirk is since he told me about it, but I wasn't aware of how powerful it really was!" I replied, feeling quite baffled myself.

The next two teams to battle were Kirishima & I, who would be playing the villains, and Team H as the heroes, which was the guy with the bird head and frog girl.

The match wasn't very long nor too short. Although our team ended up losing, sadly.

Here's a short summary of what happened. Kirishima & I decided to split up. I would be on the offensive and block off the nearest hallways with a giant wall of water that I made myself using the moisture and water from the building & pipes. Thanks to Todoroki's quirk, I was able to gather more than enough water and create a maze.
Kirishima on the other hand, was defending the weapon. His idea was to use his hardening to fight back and stall until time was up. Not the smartest move since he can burn up his stamina and risk being too weakened to hold up any longer, but it was the only thing he could think of on a whim. Plus, he said he wanted to do this in a manly way.

Before things started and we were in the midst of planning, we both realized that if I were to stand guard with the weapon, the frog girl would most likely slip through my defence with ease. Not to mention that they might be able to find the hideout too quickly if Kirishima was the only one on the offensive. Within a few short seconds, I suggested the idea of making walls within the building to confuse them into going the wrong direction. I was fully aware that frog-girl could easily get through or around this, but I had some hope that if I were make enough walls, they'd eventually find themselves stumped for a while.

Unfortunately in the end, the bird guy used some strange shadow to burst through the wall closest to me and attack head on. I fought an okay close combat fight, but keeping the walls up while doing so, caused my endurance to quickly drain. Eventually, all the walls crashed down.

Kirishima must have heard the water crashing down, because at some point while he was looking out of the room to see if froggy was climbing on the walls, vents or ceiling, she came in through the window and got the weapon just like that. When All Might announced that the Hero team won, I couldn't help but to drop to my knees in exhaustion. I was so weak that Kirishima had to carry me back, which made me feel embarrassed of myself more than it should have.

We continued to observe the rest of the matches until the class was over and everyone got their results & feedback.

As I walked back to the homeroom, Todoroki appeared beside me.

"Hey, Todo." I greeted, giving him a little nickname.

He seemed to be taken back hearing me call him "Todo" so casually, but still greeted me in return. "Hello, (Y/n)."

"Hey, nice job on your match! That was pretty amazing!" I compliment.

"Thank you, you didn't do too bad yourself."

"Ah thanks. We might've lost, but it was still a fun learning experience." I grin, giving him a thumbs up. "So, what did you think of the first day of heroics?"

"It was good. That first fight between Midoriya and Bakugou was unexpected though..." he replied.

"Yeah, I agree with that. What they did was pretty reckless, but if you've known them for as long as I did, you would understand why they went all out..." I sighed, shifting my eyes toward the floor.

"Oh. I see.."

It was silent until we heard someone mumbling and cursing in the distance. I turned my head around and saw Katsuki walking down the hallway behind us with his head hanging low and his hands in his pockets. I decided it's best to let him be and walk slower to allow him to pass, especially since I didn't feel like being yelled at by him after today. Coming in contact with him while he's a ticking time-bomb is the last thing I want.

Katsuki's POV

"That fucking nerd! He's been hiding this away from me this whole time! All those years... He's been pretending to be quirkless! Just so... she could feel sorry for him."
"Tch. What am I saying... I don't care about them, or anyone for that matter."

While walking down the hall I saw that (Y/n) and icyhot were walking together up ahead. Great, just my luck. Of all the people for me to meet up with in this huge place, it had to be these two. Whatever, it's not like they own the school.

I continue to walk by and completely ignore them. I don't acknowledge their presence any way whatsoever. I can feel one of them staring at me the further I go. I can tell it's (Y/n), but I ignore it

'Why the hell does she have to stare at me anyways. It's not like she cares about what I do.'

'She's too focused on... wait, what the hell am I thinking? Ugh! I don't care about anyone else!'

----------------------------------------------
Sorry I kept you all waiting for so long and sorry for just writing a summary of what happened during Kirishima & y/n's fight, I had no ideas, also I forgot that the manga or anime didn't get into the details of what happened so I kinda just made up my own scenario despite being out of ideas for that fight💀, hopefully you understand and enjoyed this chapter¿
