After that little fuss happened between the two boys, I started to think about what Katsuki said, about not going to actually harm me.

'Did he actually say that or was I just imagining things? The old Katsuki wouldn't hesitate to hurt anyone even if they were a girl... has he gone soft?'

My thoughts were interrupted when All Might suddenly burst through the door.

"I AAAMMM... COMING THROUGH THE DOOR LIKE A NORMAL PERSON!" He exclaimed.

The moment he made his appearance, everyone started to chatter with excitement.

"I can't believe it! All Might's really going to be teaching us!"

Izuku turned in his desk to face me with a bright smile on his face, showing off his excitement.

(Like dis🌚 ITS TOO PRECIOUS TO NOT PUT IN HERE)

He was shaking in his seat and trying his hardest not to fanboy in public. He eventually calmed down a little when All Might began to speak.

"Foundational Hero Studies! For this class, we'll be building up your hero foundation through various trials! You'll get tons of credit for it!!"

"Let's jump right in with this.."

He paused for a second but continued as he pulled out a card that had the word "Battle" written on it.
"THE TRIAL OF BATTLE!" He announced.

Most of the class, including myself started to get pumped up. Katsuki was especially excited. Izuku, on the other hand... Well, he looked like he was about to have a heart attack.

"And to go with your first battle, we've prepared the gear we had you send in requests to match your quirks!" All Might continued, revealing the cases that contained our hero suits.

The energy of the classroom changed dramatically as the students were buzzing with excitement.

I internally screamed and fangirled too, but remained calm on the outside since I wanted to keep a cool composure. Plus, I didn't want anyone to witness how I fangirl. No one should have to witness that.

"Get changed and we'll be ready to go! Everyone gather at ground beta!" All Might finished.

With that everyone grabbed the cases that contained their suits and headed to the changing rooms. I admit, I felt kind of nervous about my hero suit. I feared that it would look too flashy or too plain compared to the others. No, that shouldn't matter. As long as I feel comfortable with the style & design, everything will be alright.

-a few minutes later-

Once everyone finished, we all met at the place where All Might instructed us to go. When we stepped out into the light, I looked at everyone's suits.

'Wow, everyone's hero suits look so cool!'

"(Y/n)!" Someone called.

I turned around and saw Izuku coming in my direction.

"Hey, Izuku!" I greet, scanning his hero suit.

"Nice suit! I really like the colour." I compliment.

"O-Oh, Thank you! Yours isn't too bad either." The green haired boy complimented, trying to hide his blushing face.

"Thanks. It's actually more comfortable than it looks."

My hero suit was a light blue bodysuit with a belt around my waist and long grey sleeves that had a chain starting from my left shoulder and ending just below the right shoulder. I also had blue wristbands that helped collect & maintain the amount of water I release, AND the option to form water knuckles when making a closed fist! For my headgear, I had a waterproof visor that I plan on upgrading later on. The rest of my suit contained a small waterproof leg strap that held healing capsules & other combat items, along with knee-high boots that helped me collect moisture from the ground when necessary.

I noticed how red Izuku's face was and giggled at the fact that he was trying his best not to stare at me too much.

'So cute!'

Though, despite that he wasn't staring at me whatsoever, I still felt as if I was being looked at from afar. Concerned and curious, I scanned around the students and found, not one, but to my surprise, TWO pairs of eyes looking at me. I recognized them both.

Then, one of the eyes went out of sight as someone walked by. The red pair looked in the direction where the person with one blue eye and one grey eye was standing. Bakugo? What's with him?

When the taller student passed by, you saw that Todoroki was making his way (downtown, walking fast---gomen..) towards you.

"(Y/n)." He greeted.
"Hi, Todoroki."
"Please. Call me Shoto." He insisted.

"Ah yeah, sorry. Anyways nice suit! I like the thing going on with the ice." I complimented. I don't know the inspiration for the design, but it seems somewhat interesting.

"Thank you, yours isn't too bad either. Although, if you don't mind me asking, aren't you worried about it... moving while your fighting in close combat?" He retorted.

Hearing this made my mind go blank. I found myself beginning to rethink my entire costume design. Todoroki noticed this sudden halt and asked if I was okay.

'Yeah, just worried about my cat popping out now.'

"Ah, my bad. I'm okay just... thinking." I sighed.

"Hey! You!" Someone growled.

Todoroki & I turned our heads in the direction of where the harsh voice came from and both saw an unhappy, angered, hedgehog haired boy coming towards the both of us. I put my guard up, and got ready to face whatever this short-fused firecracker had to say.

"It's Sho-"

"I don't give a shit about what your name is! I'm just going to tell you that you better stay the fuck away from me!" He interrupted.

My eyebrows curved with confusion. "Uh, you're the one that came to him?" I reminded, crossing my arms.

"Shut up, I wasn't talking to you!" Growled the hedgehog.

"Don't yell at (Y/n)." Todoroki defended, stepping in front of me once again.

"Oh? And what're you gonna do?" Katsuki mocked.

"You know exactly what I'll do, Bakugo." He replied as frost began to form around his hand.

'Oh shit, I gotta do something before this gets too serious.'

"Okay guys, back away from each other and save the fight for another day." I intervene, stepping between the two and placing my hand on both of their chests, pushing them away from one another.

The boys backed away from each other and continued to glare. Then almost immediately stopped when they noticed All Might was staring in their direction. "Stay out of my way." Bakugo threatened before walking away. Todoroki took a deep breath and relaxed. Suddenly, the cold mist that surrounded his hand, was gone.

"Was he always like that?" Todoroki questioned, watching Katsuki walk away.

"Kacchan? Ehh not really, before his quirk manifested he was actually pretty decent and got along with Izuku & I. But because of the shallow praise he received after obtaining his quirk, he turned out like that..." I explained.

"I see..."

Still. It's kind of strange how he continues to try and pick a fight with Shoto, despite barely knowing him. Maybe he sees him as a threat or obstacle on his road-to-becoming-the-best. It's either that or he can't handle his hormones. I never know what his deal is.

There was a moment of silence but I quickly end it by asking Todoroki a question in hopes to break the lingering tension.

"So, before all of that happened, I was going to ask you why do you only have ice on one side of your suit?" I look up to the sky, trying not to appear too nosy and waited for him to answer.
Todoroki took a deep breath before he spoke. "Well... this may sound strange, but the reason for that is because I swore to myself that I would never use my left side..." He mumbled.

I was kind of confused since I didn't really know what Todoroki's quirk actually was. So, I just nodded my head and said "ohhh" like I knew what he was talking about. He picked up on this and immediately began to explain.
"I guess I never told you my quirk... My apologies. It's half hot, half cold. One side of my body can use ice and the other can use fire."

"Ohhhh. Okay, sorry about that. I still don't remember everyone else's quirks except Bakugo's, glasses dude, and that brunette Izuku is talking to."

"You mean you don't know about Midoriya's quirk?" He asked as soon as I finished speaking.

"Yeahhh.... I probably seem like a bad friend.. but you see before we graduated from middle school Izuku was-"

"ITS TIME FOR THE TRIAL OF BATTLE!!!" All Might loudly announced, cutting me off from speaking anymore.

"I'm liking everyone's styles! Very cool!" He complimented, gazing upon the suited up students.

"Sir, regarding the performance ground we'll be using, is it the mock-city from the entrance exam!?" Asked one student who's costume had a machine-like design.

'Is that glasses dude?!'

"You'll see- in fact, take two steps and you'll be there! This will be an indoor battle trial!!" The number one hero explained. "Villain clean up is usually seen out in the open, but statistically the better part of it is an indoor job. Most acts of villainy are committed indoors."

"For this test, you'll separate into 'villain' and 'hero' groups, for a two-on-two team battle!!!"

"What about the foundational training?" Asked frog girl.

"This is the Foundational Training! Only this time, there won't be any robots!" Replied All Might.

Everyone began to crowd him with questions all at once.

'So noisy.'

After the crowd quieted down, he started to explain how the trial will go and how the teams will be decided.

"Anyways let's start this!" He exclaimed.

After having everything explained & laying down all the rules, the teams were quickly decided. Sadly, I wasn't on a team with the people I knew, instead, I was on Team J with a spiky red-haired boy.

"And the first two pairs to do combat will be the following! Team A will be the heroes and Team D will be the villains!"

Hearing that made me feel anxious, considering Izuku and Katsuki would have to face each other.

'Oh god no... this isn't going to end well...'
