Taylor Shilling is a music snob. Despising anything not punk or classic rock, pop music makes her stomach churn. She can't stand boybands and would rather listen to Green Day over Selena Gomez any day.

But when her best friend, Becca, starts dating Ashton Irwin from 5 Seconds of Summer, Taylor is put in an awkward situation. Stubborn as ever, she must decide whether or not to give the band a chance. Will she be willing to hear them out, or will she plug her ears?
