Later after breakfast I told billy I was going to check out the beach. So here I was walking behind the house towards the beach. When I got to the beach it wasn't too crowded but I could sense supernatural all around. I looked to my right and saw the most beautiful girl she was stunning. I was shocked and my inner witch wanted her badly. I wanted to mark her as our mate I could also sense she was a witch. I smiled brightly when she looked at me with wide eyes. I waited as I noticed her begin to walk over with a few of her friends. Although my smile and hopes of mating her faded when I saw her holding a guys hand.

Meaning she probably wasn't interested in girls and only wanted a friend out of me now. Which was beyond saddening for me because I want and need a mate soon. I'm already sixteen and that for a witch without a mate is hard and a long time. Usually witches find them at fourteen or sometimes if unfortunate it's later in life. The longer a witch or wizard goes without a mate the worse their control becomes.

"You must be new here I'm Jessica this is ally, Gabriel and Benny" Jessica said

"I'm Adelina it's nice to meet you" I said

"You don't have a mate sorry if that's too straight forward" ally said looking me up and down

"Do you have one?" I asked while crossing my arms

"No that's why I asked you the same question" she smirked

"Is that your way of claiming me?" I giggled

"Maybe maybe not" she smirked

"Okay love birds" Jessica said with a laugh

And the week went on like that I hung out with my four new friends. Reluctant to now meet Jake's pack due to them being shifters and the imprint situation. I spent a lot of time with ally and soon wanted to even introduce her to billy and Jake.
