I took a deep breath and walked into the pet shop to find an owl and pet for my journey at Hogwarts. Something to accompany me when I needed it the most of course. As I looked around I found a small owl sitting alone in the back he seemed sad. I went to walk up to him before the owner stopped me.

"That one isn't too friendly if I say so" he said

I went to walk away but found myself drawn to him and walked up anyway. Even with protests form the owner but when the owl flew straight to me we both were shocked.

"He must like you miss" said the owner

"I believe so too" I smiled softly

"That my dear is a scops owl very small and he hasn't been kind to anyone so far" he said

The owl had big eyes with a yellow ring around them and his feathers were black but his chest had white specks all over his chest.

"How much for him?" I asked

"You can have him for free considering he's never wanted anyone else" the owner said

"I'll take him" I said with a smile

"Any other animal you'd like dear?" He asked

"May I have a look" I said

"Of course dear take your time" he said

I looked around but nothing was too appealing to me at first not since I got the owl. I looked around until I saw black and orange cat that had blue eyes. She was purring at me and nudging against the cage she was in.

"Her please" I said

"Of course she will be 15 galleons please" he said

I pulled out the money and set it on the counter while holding the cat cage in hand. I decided to name my owl Jax while my cat would be named alpine. Jax perched himself on my left shoulder while I held alpine in her crate and made my way to the train station. I took a deep breath and found the wall I was said to go through which was quite unusual and very nerve wrecking not going to lie. I closed my eyes and ran through it only to get through to another side with a beautiful train in the station. I smiled and walked upon the train and found a compartment to sit in with alpine and Jax. I was alone on the train with the few students in the other compartments of course. It was very unpleasant for me to be alone but at least I had these animals with me.

Suddenly a flash of an image came through my mind it was of the same boy. Except this time he was surrounded by a group of girls and boys. I smiled to myself as I noticed he looked similar to cissy. I wondered if this was her son maybe this was the Draco she was talking about. Just as quickly as it came the image faded and soon I realized I was at Hogwarts. The nerves came and I began to get anxious at the thought of everyone looking at me as I was sorted. What would come of this, would things go wrong, what if something bad happened.

"Hello yee must be are new student" a voice said

I looked behind me and saw a tall man with a beard long and fluffy.

"I am, but who might you be?" I asked

"Names Hagrid I'll be your guide to the castle until Professor Magonigall takes yee to be sorted" he said

"Well Hagrid show the way please I'm incredibly nervous and very lost" I said

"Don't be yee do quite fine I sur of it" he said

"Can I ask you something Hagrid?" I said

"Sure" he said

"Are there any chances I'll be made fun of for being a hybrid?" I asked nervously

"Nah ther is quite a lot of different people here" he said

"Thanks for being honest" I said with a soft smile

"Alright onto the boat you go" he said

Truthfully I hated and despised boats but I had to go and my animals weren't even with me. Hagrid said I'd get them when I was out into a house and they would be in my dorm by the time I get back from dinner or lunch I suppose.

"Well off we go the professor shall take yee to be sorted then" he said

"Hello Miss McCall is it?" A older lady said

She seemed nice and sweet but there was something about her she smelt different she smelt like a cat.

"Yes I'm Julia McCall" I said softly

"Well come dear we are on a schedule here no time to waste" she said

"Professor can I ask you something first" I said as we came to the big doors

"Yes hurry dear" she said

"What if I'm not sorted into the right place?" I asked

"The hat is never wrong" she said

"Now wait here and when you hear your name come in" she said

"Oh shit" I whispered softly when she went inside

Draco's POV

"Did you hear about a possible new student?" Some random girl said to her friend

"In the middle of the year?" The friend said

What they didn't know is I know exactly who it was she was going to be here today. She was going to be here and be sorted by lunch time and everyone was required to be there. I felt bad because I got an image of her pacing outside the doors of the great hall doors. It took a lot of effort to not go and comfort her, I do wonder how she gathered her things and if she's met anyone interesting yet.

"Quiet down please I have an announcement to make" headmaster Dumbledore said causing everyone to quiet down

"Is she here Draco?" Pansy whispered

"She's outside the doors" I smiled softly

"Good luck mate" Theo said with a playful smirk

Oh the excitement of being sorted into a Hogwarts house and the nerves.
